(I own no characters in this chapter other than Kellie/Katie)

Kellie POV:

1 week until the royal family arrives. Me and all the other servants and maids have little time to prepare. King Hades, Queen Persephone, and Prince Nico would spend the next few months here, and Princess Bianca would be a permanent guest. Sorry, I didn't introduce myself. I'm Katie, (call me Kellie) one of the servants for the Solar Kingdom royal family. I'm also Will's best friend. Sorry, I mean Prince William's best friend. He's freaking out about the arrangement, and I don't blame him. Getting married to some random chick who you've never met? Unfair.

I'm walking to Will's room when I realize King Apollo's office door is open a crack, and voices are arguing inside. Who is in there? It's almost midnight. The only reason I'm out and about is because Will wanted a snack, he's been stress eating a lot.

"Why would you do this?! And without my permission!?" I hear a female voice yell, it sounds like Queen Neomi.

"Darling, try to understand! We need this war to end." The other voice says, trying to stay calm. I peek into the room through the crack, and see that it's King Apollo and Queen Neomi. King Apollo looks lost and just tired. His hair is a mess, and his yellow shirt isn't buttoned all the way.

"Apollo, this is Queen Demeter's war to fight! Not our's!" Queen Neomi retorts. She looks mad, and elegant at the same time. She has her hair in the same neat bun she's had all day, with the same flower. "I can't believe you would do this Apollo." She turns to leave, and I jump away from the door and pretend I was just walking by.

The queen walks out of the room, turning to me. I curtsy to her. "Your majesty, how are you? 'Tis quite late." I say when I stand back up from my curtsy.

"I've had quite the day, Katie. Please ask the other maids to draw me a bath, will you?" The queen asks, her hands neatly folded on her dress. She keeps a regal expression on her face, even though I could tell she's tired.

"Yes your majesty, I shall do that immediately." I say, curtsying again.

The queen nods, and turns toward the hall. I watch her walk away, her heels clomping on the floor.
