A/N Hi all and welcome to a special surprise Halloween chapter! This is set several months into the future, so be advised that some of the Pokemon featured within haven't been caught yet within the main story. Anyways I hope you enjoy this little Halloween treat and I'll see you all in the next update!
It was October 31 in Royal Woods and the Loud family was getting ready to celebrate along with their Pokemon. Chief among them being Lucy Loud who was busy directing her sisters as they were setting up for her annual Haunted Corn Maze.
Things were going to be a lot different this year though, as now the Loud family had several Pokemon companions to help make the holiday EXTRA special. While Lynn Sr cooked a delicious meal for the family aided in part by Rattata, Rotom, and Lola II, Rita was busy helping Lucy with her maze.
"Mr. Mime, place some invisible walls here and here," said Lucy. The Psychic Type gave a salute before making several walls where directed. Lucy turned next to Lycanroc, the red wolf Pokemon looking ready to help out.
"Lycanroc, I want you to patrol this area of the maze and give any visitors a good scare, ok?"
Lycanroc nodded, eager to get to work. Rita looked on, so proud of her daughters as they worked together. As she watched a small cup of tea floated towards her, carried by a small ghost pokemon.
"Thank you Shuppet, that's very nice of you." she said. Shuppet giggled cutely before floating off to see what it could do to help out.
The door opened and Lola came out in her Halloween costume, accompanied by Lisa and Lily. Lola was dressed as the Pokemon Coordinator, Lisia, while Lisa and Lily in a bid to get more candy had dressed as a pair of Tandemaus.
"Mom! Have you seen Mimikyu anywhere!?" the Pageant Princess cried.
"Magnemite and Porygon have also gone missing," said Lisa.
Rita took a sip of her tea as she thought for a couple minutes. "I think I last saw them helping Luna in the garage. Try checking there."
With a nod Lisa and Lily headed towards the garage while Lola stayed behind. The little pageant princess had an upset look on her face that caught Rita's attention.
"Oh, what's wrong sweetie?" asked Rita.
Lola sniffled before looking up at her mother. "This is going to be the first Halloween without Lana."
Rita frowned, "Oh Sweetie, I know you miss your sister but she's busy traveling Hoenn. And I'm sure she's missing you just as much."
Lola nodded, still looking a bit upset until she was distracted by a tugging at her sleeve. Looking down she saw Houndour and Tinkatink looking at her with concerned looks. Not wanting to upset the Pokemon, Lola forced a grin on her face before speaking.
"It's okay, cuties, let's go get some candy!"
The Pokemon cheered as they rushed off to get ready, Lola following close behind. Rita smiled as they ran off before turning back to the rest of the girls, who were still hard at work with the maze. Already the maze looked fantastic and she could see Lucy directing Zubat and Duskull to their appropriate positions while LJ and Passimian were dressed up as a pair of chainsaw wielding madmen.
Rita smiled, even when she heard Lynn Sr. and Leni scream in fear, most likely caused by Galvantula.
"Looks like it's going to be a nice calm Halloween."

Lisa, Lola, and Lily were making their way down the street, their bags of candy bulging with their sugary haul. While most people didn't know what they were dressed as, the addition of their Pokemon companions definitely helped them get more treats.
At the moment Lily was sound asleep, being carried on Porygon's back as the Virtual Pokemon hovered along beside the older girls. Behind them Magnemite, Mimikyu, Houndour, and Tinkatink plodded along, helping the girls by carrying some of their candy.
It had been a good night, the girls had even seen Lincoln's friends going around with their own Pokemon companions and had wished them a Happy Halloween. They had even used their Pokemon to sneak past the guards at Huntington Manor in order to snag some full sized candy bars.
"So what should we do now?" asked Lola.
Lisa looked at their bags mentally determining if they could possibly add more candy before shaking her head.
"I think we should make our way home. If we add any more sugary confections to our bags they are liable to burst at the seams, i.e. explode." Lisa replied.
Lola nodded, looking at Lily who was still sleeping and agreed with Lisa's assessment. As they walked the two older girls would occasionally see one or two of their friends still out trick or treating, and would give them a brief greeting before continuing on their way.
Just as they turned onto their street, the girls became alarmed when they could hear some children screaming. Looking around they gazed upon the sight of the local bullies, Hank and Hawk, once again tormenting children in order to steal their candy. At first the girls were just going to ignore the bullies, but stopped when they recognized the girls being bullied.
One was a small hispanic girl dressed in a gray unicorn onesie that Lola instantly recognized as her friend, Meli Ramos, while Lisa recognized her friend Darcy Helmandollar who was dressed as a pirate.
"How dare those Meat Heads bully Meli," growled Lola, who was getting ready to order their Pokemon to attack. Before she could do so, Lisa held her back with a sinister grin.
"Easy elder sibling. I have a much better idea than just attacking those brutes."
Leaning towards her sister, Lisa quickly whispered her plan into her ear. As she did so an evil, malicious grin spread across the pink princesses face.
"Okay, you go tell the girls to get ready and I'll keep an eye on Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum." she said. Lisa nodded and quickly ran off, Porygon and Mimikyu following closely behind. Lola and the remaining Pokemon looked back at the bullies, making sure to keep a close eye on the two as they went about their Halloween rampage.
A few minutes later Hank and Hawk decided to retreat back to their treehouse with their ill-gotten gains, eager to put themselves into a diabetic coma from the amount of sugar they were soon to consume.
As they walked they soon heard a voice coming from ahead of them.
"Oh dear me," said the voice, "I have so much candy that I'm barely able to carry it by myself. I do hope that some big meanies don't come along and steal my candy!"
Hank and Hawk looked at each with shit-eating grins.
"Did you hear that bro?" said Hawk.
"More free candy bro!" said Hank
The bullies ran ahead and soon saw a little blonde girl in a blue frilly dress dragging a bulging sack full of candy down the sidewalk. As they did so they failed to notice the girl speeding up to match their pace, close enough to keep the running while being far enough away to not get caught.
They eventually saw the girl dash into the entrance of a small corn maze where they stopped to catch their breath. Looking at the entrance to the maze gave them a feeling of familiarity as they recognized their surroundings.
"Dude isn't this the maze that white-haired kid brought us to last year?" said Hank.
"I think you're right bro. The one where we got covered in blood." Hawk answered.
Hank grinned maliciously, "Well it's a good thing we got ourselves used to the sight of blood."
The duo then entered the maze, keeping their eyes open for the little blonde girl, unaware they were being watched by multiple pairs of eyes. For a few minutes nothing happened until the two ran into a large spider web, stretched across the path.
Deciding to push through it they were shocked (quite literally) when an electric current passed through the web and into their bodies. Screaming in pain the two brutes took a step back only to see a pair of glowing blood red eyes gleaming from the darkness to their right. Soon they could hear a loud, deep, growling and a red wolf-like creature stepped out from the shadows.
The two bullies held each other tightly as the beast approached, before they took off running in the opposite direction, unaware that they had dropped all the candy they had stolen earlier in the night. They soon came to a fork in the path, and quickly chose the one to the right, only to come across a dead end.
"I don't like this bro." said Hank.
"We should've never come back here dude," said Hawk.
Suddenly the loud whirring of a chainsaw cut through the air as two separate chainsaw blades cut through the corn beside them, revealing a pair of hockey masked psychopaths bearing down on the two bullies. As they slowly backed away from the pair, one of the murderers threw what looked like a severed head at Hank, which ricocheted off his head and smacked Hawk in the face.
The two screamed in horror as they turned and ran as fast as they could. Try as they might, however, they could not find the way out, as whenever they thought they had found an exit they would suddenly collide with something like an invisible wall, preventing them from leaving. And as if that wasn't bad enough, they kept running into various monsters such as giant rats (Rattata, and Lisa and Lily in their Tandemaus outfits), a mad scientist and a creepy clown (Luan and Mr. Mime), a snarling blue dog with a skull on its head (Houndour), and a blue bat that constantly swooped down on them from above (Zubat).
Eventually the two made it into a large open space in the middle of the maze, where they stopped to catch their breath.
"I think we lost them," said Hawk.
"I don't know how much more of this I can take," said Hank.
A low wailing sound began to fill the area around the two bullies, causing them to huddle together as they looked around in terror. The first thing they noticed was a large red glowing eye that appeared from the shadows around them. As they watched a white skull-like face slowly materialized around the eye, soon revealing itself to be a small grim reaper-esque creature.
More wailing voices joined the first as the creature was then joined by a small blue ghost creature faded into existence, followed by something wearing what looked like a shabby yellow costume vaguely reminiscent of a rat or mouse.
As one the ghostly creatures' eyes began to glow with an ominous light as the two bullies found themselves launched through the air and out of the corn maze. With a loud thud the bullies hit the ground before springing to their feet and running as fast as they could, twin streams of urine following in their wake.
Lucy looked on as they fled in terror, a small grin on her face. She was soon joined by a few of the Pokemon that were in the house as she took a deep breath.
"I love Halloween." said the small goth girl.
