The knowledge that Beryl was pursuing the Seven Great Youma that had once served the Dark Kingdom was unsettling enough on its own, but the thought that Beryl had somehow managed to replicate his Dark Crystal for Zoisite to use in his hunt for the humans who had been reborn in the same way that the Sailor Senshi and Prince Endymion had clearly been. Though not one of them seemed to remember the lives they had previously lived.

None of them, save the moon cat who seemed to have been sent to Sailor Moon for that exact reason.

"So, there are more people who used to be youma from the Dark Kingdom?" Sailor Mercury – though none of the Sailor Guardians were transformed at this particular moment – asked.

"The Seven Great Youma who served the Dark Kingdom were defeated some time during the Silver Millenium, and then they were reincarnated as seven humans in this time and place," he said, taking out his own Dark Crystal and concentrating for a moment. "Therefore, there are six more humans that were once youma who served the Dark Kingdom."

"So, we have to protect those people, and make sure that none of them fall under the control of the Dark Kingdom," Sailor Jupiter said, punching her left palm with an expression of determination on her face.

"Yes, and you'll also need to get to them before Zoisite, since Beryl would know more about these humans and where to find them, and Zoisite will try to get to them as fast as he can," Jadeite said, a worried expression on his face to match the one Nephrite could feel on his own.

Knowing that there were seven people – well, six, since they'd managed to save Joe from what Zoisite had done to him – who had actually been youma, in the same kind of way that she and the others had once been Sailor Senshi was more than a little scary, but after hearing that Zoisite was going to be hunting them, Usagi knew that she couldn't just let those people be hurt by the Dark Kingdom. Even though they had been youma before, they were normal people now, and none of them deserved what Zoisite would do to them.

When Nephrite had showed them all images of the other six people who would be in danger from Zoisite and the Dark Kingdom, she and Rei-chan had started making plans to save them before Zoisite or anyone else could get to them.

"So, you're planning to look for six people who used to work for the Dark Kingdom, and try to protect them?" Naru-chan asked, as the pair of them sat down together at Naru-chan's house. "Are these people like Nephrite?"

"It doesn't sound like they were brainwashed," Usagi said, shaking her head. "So, I don't think the same thing happened to them that happened to Nephrite and the rest of his friends happened to them."

"I wish I could help you and the rest of the Sailor Senshi with what you're all trying to do," Naru-chan said, looking more than a little sad.

"Naru-chan, you helped us save Nephrite-san," she said, reaching out to hold Naru-chan's hands. "You've done a lot!"

When Mamoru-sempai had asked him to come to his apartment, Trevor had found himself wondering if Mamoru-sempai had been having more of the dreams that he had told him about. And, if that was the case, why he only seemed to want to speak to Trevor, when Luna-sensei also knew about them. Still, it was possible that Mamoru-sempai was just more comfortable talking to him about those kinds of things, and there wasn't any deeper reason for it than that.

"Thanks for coming so quickly, Trevor-kohai," Mamoru-sempai said, letting Trevor inside with a relieved smile on his face.

"I'm happy to help you, Mamoru-sempai. You've been having more of those dreams about the Moon Princess?" he asked, as the pair of them settled down on a couch beside the coffee table in Mamoru-sempai's living room.

"I didn't want to waste the others' time, since I haven't seen anything actually new, but those dreams are still kind of unsettling," Mamoru-sempai said, eyes narrowing as he stared down at the coffee table.

"I'm sorry, Mamoru-sempai," Trevor said, not knowing how he could help, or even if Mamoru-sempai would want him to help.

After all, he wasn't the one having strange dreams of what seemed to be the very person that Usagi and the rest of the Sailor Senshi were all searching for.

When all of them – including Mamoru-baka, which Usagi still didn't like – met up at the Hikawa Shrine again, they all made their way to the warded room where Nephrite and Jadeite were hiding from the Dark Kingdom.

"So, have you managed to find the other six people we need to protect?" Mako-chan asked, as soon as Rei-chan had closed the doors behind the last of them.

"This is the next one that Zoisite is likely to attack," Nephrite said, showing them all what looked like some kind of a pastor.

As the six of them started making plans to protect the pastor who was either in danger from Zoisite or about to be in danger from Zoisite, Usagi couldn't help but wish that there was a way for her to save Zoisite, too. Still, as long as Zoisite was attacking people, Usagi had to focus on protecting the people that would be in danger from Zoisite instead of saving him from the Dark Kingdom, too. Finding out where the pastor lived and worked, Usagi and the rest of the Sailor Senshi started making their way to Yokohama Chinatown.

She'd always wanted to try some of the food there, so Usagi hoped that they'd all have the chance to at least try something, before they ended up having to fight Zoisite to save the pastor he was going to attack.

Just before the six of them actually made it into Yokohama Chinatown, though, Usagi spotted the pastor they'd been looking for.

He was walking through a graveyard just outside of the town, but even as she, Mako-chan, and Rei-chan split off from Ami-chan, Trevor-nii, and Mamoru-baka, Zoisite suddenly appeared standing on one of the graves. Contacting the rest of the Sailor Senshi with her communicator, letting the three of them know to join up with the rest of them as quickly as they could, she, Mako-chan, and Rei-chan quickly transformed and put themselves between the pastor and Zoisite before he could do anything more than startle the man.

"Don't worry," she said, smiling as best she could with Zoisite so close by. "We'll protect you."

The sudden sound from his communicator drew Trevor's attention, but Ami-san was the first of their group to answer it.

"Usagi says that Zoisite is attacking the man we came here to protect," Ami-san said.

"We should transform and get there quickly," Mamoru-sempai said.

The three of them did so without another word, and hurried off to help the rest of their friends and protect the man that Zoisite had been hunting. The sounds of combat grew louder and louder as the three of them closed in on Usagi, Rei-sempai, and Mako-san, and Trevor took out one of his yellow roses to throw, driving Zoisite backwards. Mamoru-sempai threw one of his own, red roses, and Trevor allowed himself to relax at least a little.

None of them could really relax, of course, since they were still in a fight for that man's life.

A sudden scream – from the very man they'd all been trying to protect – drew Trevor's attention, and he turned to see that Zoisite had managed to pull something from the pastor they had been trying to protect.

The pastor transformed into a youma, just the same as what had happened to Joe, but the youma he turned into was nearly as different from the one Joe had turned into as it was possible to be. Instead of looking like some kind of living, scaled-up Gatchapon figure, this new youma looked like some kind of bird-man with boxing gloves. As the three of them joined up with the rest of their friends, Trevor jumped back in surprise as the youma – now calling himself Boxii – fired one of his boxing gloves at the place where he and Mamoru-sempai had once been standing.

"I've got the Rainbow Crystal," Mamoru-sempai said, once he'd managed to catch his breath. "Now, all that's left is for Sailor Moon to heal that man."

"That might be easier said than done," Trevor found himself muttering, just before Ami-san threw up a fog barrier all around them.

Boxii stopped in his tracks, clearly just as confused as any other youma, with the foggy barrier that Ami-san had surrounded him with. Allowing himself to relax just that much more, as he caught sight of Usagi with the Moon Stick raised up high, in just the same kind of way that she'd done to save Joe when he'd been turned into Gamecen by Zoisite. Zoisite was gone now, clearly having left when Ami-san had dropped the fog barrier and Boxii had lost sight of them.

Sighing in relief as the transformed man shouted "Refresh!" – in just the same way as Jadeite and Joe had done before him – Trevor allowed himself to relax the rest of the way as the man the six of them had come to save fell to the ground, human once more.

Making his way over to Usagi, Trevor smiled as he draped his left arm around her shoulders.

She'd originally made her way to the Hikawa Shrine so that she could see Nephrite and talk to him again, but Naru had quickly found herself growing more curious about just what kind of things he'd been doing before she'd met him.

"So, the four of you used to be bodyguards to a prince?" she asked, amazed all over again at the man she realized that she'd known so little about.

"Before Beryl came to us, yes," Nephrite said, sighing softly as he seemed to look back into a past that only he could really see. "The four of us served Endymion, the Prince of Earth."

Before she could ask anything more, maybe to find out why he looked so sad, Naru heard the sounds of people making their way up to the warded building where Nephrite and his friend Jadeite were staying until the Dark Kingdom was either defeated or just stopped looking for them. Turning to look over at the doors, Naru couldn't help but wonder who was coming, why they were doing it, and what was going to happen now.

When Usagi-chan, her friends, and her big brother all made their way into the room, Naru sighed softly, and smiled.

She might not have found out much more about what Nephrite and his friends – two of whom he was clearly still hoping to save from the Dark Kingdom – did than that they served someone who'd been called the Prince of Earth, but she could come back and they could talk more. She could always come back. Usagi-chan and the rest of her friends had promised that she could.

All of them were so kind.

As he settled back down in his apartment, Mamoru sighed as he sat down at his desk. Taking out the strange locket he'd found, he listened to the soft melody it played when he opened it. He hadn't even mentioned it to Trevor-kohai – somehow, it felt too special for him to do something like that – but he'd found that it reminded him of the dreams he'd been having. The dreams of the Moon Princess, and the way she kept calling to him.

And now, with two of the Rainbow Crystals, it looked like they were getting closer to finding her than Mamoru had ever been on his own.
