When they all met up at Rei-san's temple again, Trevor found that the look on Urawa-san's face when he'd been trying to protect the other boy wouldn't leave his mind. Urawa-kun had seemed so strangely sad, even as the pair of them had been facing down Zoisite and Urawa-san had been in danger of losing the Rainbow Crystal he possessed and turning into a youma. Trevor didn't know just why that was, but he was still curious.

He still worried about just what Urawa-san had been thinking, with that look on his face.

Still, when Nephrite-san showed them the face of the next person who held a Rainbow Crystal, Trevor found himself a bit surprised to find that it was a girl. Sure, more than a few girls had been the target of the Dark Kingdom and their youma, but so far the only people who'd held a Rainbow Crystal had been boys and that man back in Yokohama. So, did end up feeling more than a little strange.

"So, we'll have to make sure to keep an eye out for this new girl," Mako-san said, folding her arms and frowning thoughtfully.

"Yeah, but at least there are only four more people we're going to have to look out for," Usagi said, sighing softly. "Though, I wonder what's going to happen when we find all of them."

"Once we've found the last person who holds a Rainbow Crystal, the seven of them will reveal the location of the Legendary Silver Crystal, and the glow of the Silver Crystal will lead us to the Moon Princess," Luna-sensei said.

"I hope we can find the rest of them soon, then," Mamoru-sempai muttered, though it didn't seem like he'd meant to say anything.

So Trevor didn't say anything in return, even though he did want to comfort Mamoru-sempai given how unsettled he sounded.

After they'd all gotten a good look at the girl who held the next Rainbow Crystal the Dark Kingdom was going to be hunting for, the five of them all got up to leave Rei-san's temple again.

Lounging by the lake with Trevor-nii by her side, Usagi sighed softly as she kept looking for anyone who looked like the girl Nephrite-kun had showed them when they were all at Rei-chan's temple together. The leaves on the trees had started falling, and Usagi found herself feeling more than a little sad as she saw all the couples walking through the park. While it was nice to be here with Trevor-nii, Usagi couldn't help but wish that she could find someone nice to bring here on a date.

Really, someone nice to bring anywhere on a date.

The sound of Naru-chan making her way over to the bench where she and Trevor-nii were resting together brought a smile to Usagi's face.

"Hey, Naru-chan!" she called, waving to her and Trevor-nii's friend as she came over to meet with them.

"Naru-chan, what did you want to show us?" Trevor-nii asked, before Usagi herself could ask anything like that.

"You'll just have to come with me and see," Naru-chan said, smiling cheekily at the both of them. "I want it to be a surprise."

Sharing a look with Trevor-nii, Usagi found herself laughing softly at Naru-chan being so silly. She'd been a lot happier since they'd managed to rescue Nephrite-kun from the Dark Kingdom, even though he was still worried about the two friends that he and Jadeite-kun had been forced to leave behind. When the three of them had made it to the place Naru-chan had wanted them to see, Usagi found herself smiling as she looked around at all the beautiful art in the gallery that Naru-chan had brought her to.

"These are amazing," Trevor-nii said, as the three of them made their way through the gallery, looking at the paintings all around them.

"They really are," Naru-chan said, smiling softly. "Yumemi Yumeno's paintings are really popular right now, too."

"There are a lot of couples here," Usagi said, having noticed that on their way in, even as she'd been looking at all of the beautiful paintings.

"That's because Yumemi paints pictures of love!"

"Umino-san?" Trevor-nii asked, even as Usagi found herself more than a little annoyed. "What brings you here?"

"Are you stalking us, Umino?" she demanded, folding her arms and glaring at the boy who always seemed to be hanging around them.

Naru-chan laughed. "Come on, let him stay. Anyway, a lot of people are saying that, if you buy one of Yumemi Yumeno's paintings, your wishes for romance will be granted."

"Wow, that sounds really nice," Usagi said, smiling as she looked around at all the couples milling around in the gallery with them.

"Come on," Naru-chan said, leading the four of them to a painting of a beautiful girl in a pink dress with long, windswept hair. "This is one of Yumemi Yumeno's self portraits," Naru-chan said, once they were all gathered around the painting she'd clearly been leading them to.

"Oh, she's beautiful," Usagi said, smiling as she imagined what it might be like to meet Yumeno-san, to talk with her about art or romance, or things like that. "She really does seem like the kind of person who could make things like this."

"She's a very mysterious person, who never appears in public," Umino said, inadvertently dashing any of Usagi's hopes about meeting up with Yumeno-san for a chocolate sundae or anything like that.

"Ah, it sounds like she's really shy," Trevor-nii said, and Usagi had the feeling that he had been thinking about meeting up with Yumeno-san, too.

"But, Yumeno-san hasn't made any new paintings lately," Naru-chan said.

"Rumors have been circulating that she's in a slump and has gone missing," Umino said.

"Really? A slump?" Usagi asked, feeling a bit worried. "Maybe she needs a friend."

As the four of them continued on their way through the gallery, Trevor found his eyes drawn almost magnetically to a painting that looked more than a little like Usagi and Mamoru-sempai, both of them in the forms that they used to fight the Dark Kingdom. It was more than a little strange to see, something that looked so much like a scene he'd been seeing even before Mamoru-sempai had openly joined up with all of them, and Trevor could only wonder how Yumeno-san had managed to paint something like that.

None of their actual battles had been on the news, and Trevor had never seen anyone with a camera during the times he, Mamoru-sempai, and the Sailor Senshi had been together before or after.

The sound of his communicator going off drew Trevor's attention before he could think for too long about just how that kind of thing was even possible, and Trevor gathered closer to Usagi as the pair of them moved away from Umino-san and Naru-chan.

"Mamoru-baka actually managed to find the girl we're looking for?" Usagi grumbled, though she did it quietly enough that no one else but him managed to hear her.

"That's what it looks like," Trevor said, narrowing his eyes as he looked at the text message that Mamoru-sempai had sent them. "We should go meet up with them."

"Yeah, I guess," Usagi said, though she didn't look particularly happy about it.

"Hey, isn't that one of Motoki-oniisan's friends?" Naru-chan asked, pointing to the front entrance of the gallery.

Turning in that direction, Trevor found himself nearly forced to swallow a chuckle as he saw that Mamoru-sempai was standing right outside the gallery.

"Mamoru-baka," Usagi huffed, folding her arms with an annoyed look on her face. "He just gets everywhere."

Chuckling softly, Trevor clapped Usagi's right shoulder as the pair of them started making their way to the front entrance of Yumeno-san's gallery.

"You guys can go home without us!" Usagi called back, as the pair of them hurried to meet up with Mamoru-sempai and the girl with the next Rainbow Crystal inside her. "Umino, make sure that Naru-chan gets home safely!"

As the pair of them continued on their way, Trevor could only hope that they would be able to protect this girl from Zoisite when he inevitably showed up. He could only hope that they would be able to keep her from being transformed into a youma, too. When the pair of them managed to catch up with Mamoru-sempai and the girl with the Rainbow Crystal inside her, Trevor found the girl tugging on Mamoru-sempai's coat.

"Hey, are you doing all right?" he asked, drawing the girl's attention.

She seemed to focus more on Usagi than on him, however. "You look just like the girl I've been seeing in my dreams! Please, can you come model for me, too?"

"What, you want me to model for you?" Usagi asked, looking about as surprised as Trevor found himself feeling.

"The both of you look so much like the people I've been seeing in my mind for so long. I'm so lucky today!" the girl with the Rainbow Crystal said. "Please, will the both of you come to my studio?"

"Miss-" he said, but Usagi actually cut him off before he could say more than a single word.

"Sure, we'll go with you," Usagi-chan said, and Mamoru found himself sharing a confused expression with Trevor-kohai.

He couldn't really interpret the look that Usagi gave the pair of them, but as the three of them followed the girl with the next Rainbow Crystal to the studio where she worked, he watched as Usagi-chan and Trevor-kohai discussed something with each other in low tones. When the girl with the Rainbow Crystal turned to look back at all of them, as they all made their way up to the studio where she worked, Mamoru couldn't help but think it looked a lot more like someone's home than just a studio.

"I'm so glad that the three of you were willing to come out here with me," the girl with the Rainbow Crystal said, smiling shyly at them. "I'll go make some delicious coffee for all of us."

"All right, so how are we going to protect this girl?" he asked, once the girl had left the room to start fixing coffee.

"We have to keep her in our sight as much as we can," Trevor-kohai said, folding his arms and looking down the hall where the girl with the Rainbow Crystal had gone.

"Yeah, and we have to make sure that Zoisite doesn't get the chance to attack her, the way he's done with all of those other poor people," Usagi-chan said.

"Yeah, it would be nice if we could stop at least one person from being turned into a youma," Trevor-kohai said, sighing softly.

"Here's the coffee," the girl said, making her way back into the room with them. "I hope all of you are comfortable."

"We're all right," he said, wondering if it would be better to explain to this girl just how much danger she was in, or if that would only risk making her panic and cause them more trouble.

With three people who looked so much like the people she had been seeing in her dreams all gathered together in her house, Yumemi couldn't help feeling a little strange, but in a good sort of way. Even better, the three of them seemed to be friends. Though, Mamoru-san and Usagi-san didn't really seem to like each other all that much.

Usagi-san and Mamoru-san looked so much like the lovers she had been painting for so long, and Trevor-san looked just like the hero of light she'd been seeing more and more often, it was almost like watching her paintings come to life right in front of her. It was so wonderful! Yumemi found that she couldn't quite stop smiling, as she worked on the picture that she had asked Usagi-san and Mamoru-san to model for.

She'd asked if Trevor-san would model for her, too, once she'd managed to finish the initial sketching for the picture of the two lovers that she'd had in her mind for so long that it had nearly become a bother.

Still, Yumemi couldn't help but notice the worried expression on Usagi-san's face, or the way that Mamoru-san and Trevor-san seemed to be talking to each other whenever she left the room. All of them seemed to have some kind of secret they were keeping from her, but all three of them did at least seem to have her best interest at heart, so Yumemi relaxed and let herself concentrate on her art. The three of them would probably tell her what was wrong, if it was anything dangerous.

So, she'd just wait, and keep working, and be happy that she was getting help with her inspiration.

Finding out that Yumemi-chan didn't have any friends was sad, and Usagi had made up her mind that she would try to help the other girl, once they'd managed to save her from being turned into a youma. She'd talked to Trevor-nii and Mamoru-baka about that, but the both of them were worried that Yumemi-chan might panic, if they told her that Zoisite was hunting her, and what he would do if he caught her.

Still, as Yumemi-chan walked her and Trevor-nii home, Usagi found that she couldn't stop thinking about what Yumemi-chan might do if she did tell the other girl about Zoisite and what he would do if he caught up to her.

"Thank you for the cookies, Yumemi-chan. They were wonderful," Usagi said, smiling even as she found herself worrying about just when and where Zoisite would try to ambush them.

Trevor-nii was looking for him, too, even as the pair of them continued on their way back home.

Luna-sensei had joined them on their way back, though she didn't say anything since Yumemi-chan was right there with them.

"Look," Yumemi-chan called softly, a smile on her face.

Turning to see what Yumemi-chan was pointing to, Usagi found herself smiling as she saw the pair of girls looking at the new painting that Yumemi-chan had finished.

"I'm glad they like it so much," Yumemi-chan said, smiling softly as the three of them continued on their way through the city.

Before anyone else could say anything, though, Zoisite appeared in the air above their heads.

"Well, don't you have the worst luck, schoolboy," Zoisite said, grinning widely down at them. "After all, this is the fourth time I've managed to find you in the company of one of the Seven Great Youma. But this time, I'm not letting you get away from me!"

Zoisite blasted the three of them apart, and Usagi threw herself forward, rolling to bleed of at least some of the momentum from Zoisite blasting her, before getting out of sight as best she could. Transforming, trusting Trevor-nii to protect both himself and Trevor-nii as best as he could, Usagi turned back to see Zoisite bearing down on Trevor-nii as he curled defensively around Yumemi-chan. Signaling the other Sailor Senshi with her communicator, Usagi hurried to help Trevor-nii protect Yumemi-chan.

Nodding to Trevor-nii, she saw him smile briefly at her, just before he threw himself out of Zoisite's line of sight so he could transform, too.

As she kept an eye on what Zoisite was doing, even as Trevor-nii transformed and then joined up with her again, Usagi shuddered as she caught sight of the furious look Zoisite was turning in her direction. He seemed more angry than he'd been the other three times, but since she and the other Sailor Senshi had managed to keep all of the other Rainbow Crystals away from him, she guessed that she could understand why that was.

With the other Sailor Senshi – and probably Mamoru-baka, but she tried not to think about that – on the way, Usagi turned her attention fully to keeping Yumemi-chan from being turned into a youma. Still, with only her and Trevor-nii to protect her, to stand between her and Zoisite, it almost seemed impossible to stop Yumemi-chan from being getting caught by Zoisite and having her Rainbow Crystal pulled right out of her.

The youma that Yumemi-chan ended up turning into looked like some kind of angel, almost like the second youma that they'd ended up having to fight just outside of Yokohama, but she looked more like an angel and less like the strange bird-man that the pastor had ended up turning into when he'd had his Rainbow Crystal stolen. The other Sailor Senshi arrived then, and Mamoru-baka wasn't far behind them.

Ami-chan dropped a fog barrier to keep the Zoisite and the youma named Veena from attacking them, and Usagi sighed as the youma looked around in confusion; Yumemi-chan was still trapped in there, and Usagi was determined to save her.

"Moon Healing Escalation!" she shouted, raising the Moon Stick and pouring out the energies that had become so familiar to her during all the time she'd spent working with them.

Trevor-nii wrapped his right arm around her as the pair of them watched Yumemi-chan heal and become human again, but when she caught sight of Mamoru-baka making his way over to where the both of them were standing, she frowned.

"Can I talk to you?" he asked, once the Rei-chan and Ami-chan had gone off to reassure Yumemi-chan, and Mako-chan was making sure that no one else from the Dark Kingdom would try to attack them. "I mean, both of you?"

"I guess that would be all right," she said, after she'd shared a long look with Trevor-nii.

Though he was friends with Mamoru-baka, so he might have encouraged her to meet up with him because of that.

~SM~

After the battle was done – though they hadn't managed to find more than the Rainbow Crystal that Zoisite had been pursuing; Trevor sometimes found himself wondering when they'd be able to confront Zoisite himself, and the look in his eyes suggested that Nephrite-san did, too – he and Usagi had gone to check on Yumemi-san. To make sure that she was all right, after everything that had happened to her.

"I thought I'd find you two here," Mamoru-sempai said, smiling in that gentle way he always seemed to do when they met.

At least, when he wasn't trying to talk to Usagi; then, he always did seem to find just the wrong thing to say.

"Yeah, so you found us," Usagi said, folding her arms and looking more than a little unimpressed. "Are you going to tell us what you wanted to say?"

"No," Mamoru-sempai said, shaking his head, though he didn't stop smiling. "Not here. After this, we'll talk at my apartment. This isn't something that I want everyone to know about."

Before anyone else could say anything, however, Yumemi-san came into the front room of the gallery with them.

"I'm glad you could all make it back here," she said, smiling gently at the three of them.

"I'm kind of surprised you called us all back here, honestly," he muttered, trying not to be too obtrusive.

"Yeah, I thought you didn't want people to know what you looked like," Mamoru-sempai said, as the three of them turned to give Yumemi-san their full attention.

"I've decided to stop hiding," Yumemi-san said, laughing softly, before moving to reveal the painting based on Usagi and Mamoru-sempai that she'd been working on.

"Wow, that's so pretty!" Usagi exclaimed, and Trevor found himself smiling as he wrapped his right arm around her shoulders.

Before his younger sister could do more than look a bit confused, Yumemi-san unveiled what looked like the painting she'd based on him. The figure in the center of the picture was holding up some kind of shortened staff or something – something that reminded him more than a bit of Usagi's Moon Stick, while at the same time looking almost nothing like it – a staff that glowed with the same kind of golden light Trevor had seen coming from his own hands more often than not.

"Wow, you really made Trevor-nii look heroic in this one," Usagi said, and Trevor couldn't help smiling at his younger sister's sheer enthusiasm.

Still, the three of them were finished talking to Yumemi-san soon enough, and they left to go to Mamoru-sempai's apartment.

Once they'd all made it to Mamoru-sempai's apartment, Trevor found himself growing steadily more curious about just what it was that Mamoru-sempai wanted to show them. As Mamoru-sempai went over to a drawer to pull something out, Trevor blinked in surprise.

"Wait, that looks like the locket in Yumemi-chan's painting!" Usagi exclaimed, before Trevor could make that kind of a comment, himself.

"I think the Moon Princess might have given it to me," Mamoru-sempai said, pressing down on the top of the locket to open it. "I think that might be why I've been dreaming about her."

"You're still been dreaming about the Moon Princess, Mamoru-sempai?" he asked, even as the soft, haunting melody of the locket continued to play.

"I never stopped," Mamoru-sempai said, settling back into the seat he'd taken.

Finding himself more concerned, Trevor reached out to hold Mamoru-sempai's right hand. He didn't know what he could do for his friend, but Trevor was at least going to try to help.
