She looked over at Reiko. "It's alright Reiko, go home and check on Zu."

"A-are you sure?"

"Yeah." Kuri grinned. "Go hit him on the head for freaking out fate."

Reiko's eyes widened and he nodded. "Yes ma'am!" Reiko ran off to find Izuku.

Deku was sitting on the bed in shock and happiness when Reiko knocked on his door

Deku opened the door. "Oh Reiko! Have you seen Kuri?"

Reiko tackled him with a hug and squeezed him. "You're okay!"

Deku blushed. "Y-yeah…" He grinned. "I'm more than ok!"

"I'm glad." Reiko smacked him. "Don't scare fate like that!"

"Huh?! Oh no did Sis get frozen again?! Is she ok?! Omg!" Deku burst out.

"Brother is with her…..he was really worried when I told him…" Reiko cried.

"She's with kacchan?!" Deku panicked. "But he's so mean, and they were fighting, a-and…"

"I think he realizes what he did was bad…" Reiko defended. "She's safe I promise. Did you get hurt? How are you more than okay?" Reiko tilted her head.

Deku blushed putting his finger to his lips. "That's a secret!"

"I can keep a secret." Reiko pouted.

"This…isn't my secret to share…" Deku mumbled.

"Oh! Okay." Reiko quickly relented. "I…I hope I'll get to know eventually…"

"Hah?" Bakugo stared at her. "Fate?"

"Y-yeah." Kuri muttered. "If fate is involved, my quirk freezes me. I can't move or speak until the fated event has concluded."

"What if you're somewhere fucking dangerous?!" Bakugo cried.

"I guess I could get killed, ne?" Kuri laughed it off "I'd be a terrible hero! That's why I don't want to go to UA. I'll miss you and Zu tho."

"What?!" Bakugo exclaimed incredulously. "Why aren't you going to UA?! You'd make a fucking great hero!"

"Huh?!" Kuri said, realizing he was serious. "But…I'm not…a hero…"

"Do you want to be one?"

Kuri pouted and looked away. "No!"

Bakugo smirked. "Yeah you do!"

"Don't tease me Kat!" Kuri cried. "I can't be a hero! What if…what if me trying is the reason Zu fails!"

"Why the hell would that damn nerd fail cuz of you?"

"Cuz…what if they take me instead of him…?"

Bakugo stared at her. "What are you talking about?"

"What if I get into UA and aniki doesn't?!" Kuri said sadly. "I-I can't…even try…when I think about that…"

"…but what if he does get in?" Bakugo looked away. "Damn nerd needs more fucking muscle anyway…"

"If he gets and and me too and you guys too?!" Kuri smiled. "Aaaah…that'd be wonderful…"

Bakugo snorted. "We'll all fucking make it in!"

Kuri squished his cheeks. "I dunno if blonde boomy meanies are allowed…"

"Oi! I'm sorry okay?!" Bakugo groaned.

"Eh?!" Kuri dropped her hands and gave him a crafty look. "I'm a lil hard of hearing what was that?"

"Shut up I ain't saying again."

Kuri flit free from his arms. "Then I forgive you. And I can't wait to see you blow the exam to hell you angry Pomeranian!"

Bakugo smirked. "Damn straight I will."
