Kuri stretched. "I think I'll be good at this. My quirk isn't really good for combat it's better for healing and defen—" Kuri stopped, eyes going silver.

"A vision!" Deku said.

"What do ya see?" Bakugo asked.

Kuri's eyes widened. "No! Ah! We're all gonna—"

At that moment, Kurogiri zapped them all away.

"Dammit. Where the hell? Bird bitch!" Bakugo grabbed her. good she's here with me and I can fucking protect her

"No!" Kuri struggled. "No! I have to…Shirakumo!" A psionic blast came from her breaking down the ruins zone.

Kirishima panicked. "Bakugo you gotta calm her down! We can't take another hit like that!"

"I'm trying!" Bakugo attempted. "Kuri hey…you gotta focus. We gotta get rid of these guys."

"No! I can't! I have to… !" Kuri was panicking as villains approached them. "You!" She knocked them back with her force field. "like fuck your gonna touch Katsuki!"

"Whoa." Kirishima gasped. "Did you know she could do that?!"

"I do now." Bakugo started fighting and used her force field.

Kuri hugged him from behind and held on. "I'm safe from your blasts here. Fight like you need to; I'll protect everyone."

Bakugo froze in shock slightly then shook it off and started blasting.

Kuri rested her head on his shoulder and calmed his nerves giving him clean focus as her barriers kept them safe.

"We are almost through!" Bakugo grunted

"Mm!" Kuri squeezed his shoulders.

With a burst of speed Bakugo blasted them through and then relaxed. "We made it!"

"Yeah thanks to you Kuri!" Kirishima said.

"I-I'm not— Shirakumo!" Kuri ran over to the villains.

"Dammit Kuri! Don't!" Bakugo rushed after her.

Meanwhile at the Flood Zone, Reiko fumbled in the water.

"Reiko you gotta breathe!" Deku cried, trying to get her outta the water.

Reiko coughed and grabbed him. "Zuku? What…shit…"

"Are you alright?"

"I-I'm fine." Reiko assured him. "Are you okay? Anyone else with us?"

"Froppy and I hatched a good plan. You catch your breath then we'll go help sensei."

Reiko took a deep breath and nodded. "No time to waste. Every second counts."

Deku nodded and extended a hand. "Let's get going!"

"Right!" Reiko got her spores ready. Being a plant hero, she could control every inch of a plant, down to the spores.

"Ok release them through the unit but make sure the aim for the villains."

"Right." Reiko did so effortlessly.

Deku pulled Reiko into the center as she made sure that Aizawa wasn't affected.

Suddenly Kuri ran past them and tackled Kurogiri, the spatial villain.

"What?!" Deku cried "She'll be killed!"

Bakugo raced past, going after her.

Reiko gazed in shock. "What is she doing?!"

Kuri's barrier protected her but there was a backlash and she was thrown at their feet eyes blank. She looked completely dead as All Might arrived and Bakugo pulled her out of the action.

Bakugo freaked out and knelt next to her. "Come on…wake up…don't fucking do this…"

"W-What's…she doing?!" Deku panicked.

Kuri's quirk began to take effect, causing the nomu to turn back to normal as Kurogiri just barely escaped.

Suddenly some official looking suits entered and came over to Kuri. "We've been waiting for this…we are taking the priestess"

"Like hell you are!" Bakugo cried at the same time as Reiko yelled, "You can't take her!"

The suits just stared. "She'll die."

"No she won't!" Bakugo snapped stubbornly.

"If we don't take her she will."

"You need Sensei's permission!" Deku growled. "Or All Might's! You have to get that, or we won't let you! None of us!" Class 1A gathered around them in Kuri's defense.

Bakugo's hands sparked. "And even if you do get permission I ain't gonna let you take her alone. I'm going with ya."

The suits sighed. "…very well." They put her in the infirmary where she lay there eyes blank in shock and fear reaching for something.

Deku got to work helping All Might as Bakugo knelt and grabbed Kuri's hand. Reiko followed Deku as Kuri finally began to stir.

"K-Ka…katsuki?"

"Yeah I'm right here. I ain't going anywhere." Bakugo smoothed the hair off her face tenderly.

"Mmm. Good. I dreamed of you."

"Hah?!" Bakugo drew back in surprise. "You did?"

"Yeah. In the dream I was being bullied and I came over and sat by you and started to cry and you gave me some spicy fries and comforted me!" Kuri grinned. "Heheh I think you just could handle a girl crying. But you were so sweet Kat." She looked at him tenderly.

Bakugo bonked her on the head. "Ya give me too much credit Birdie."

"I just realized that your always like that, I'm a dumbass for not noticing. But I see you now Katsuki Bakugo." She looked in his eyes with such emotion that Bakugo had no words, as he held her hand and let her rest.
