"Hah?!" Bakugo followed after her. the hell is she going on about?

Kuri was totally red faced and embarrassed by her loss, and wouldn't look at him. "just…go train! So villains with defenses won't get to you!"

"I plan on training hard and so should you!"

Kuri groaned. "I knooooow ok? I didn't even think about the parameters of the tournament…I was just excited yknow? To go up against the best."

"You did pretty damn good yourself. I'll train to make sure I can blast shields!"

Kuri touched his chest where the feather hit. "Does it hurt?"

Bakugo looked down at her hands, breath hitching. "Not too bad."

Kuri's hand was on his chest, healing his energy pathway. "There. Believe it or not, my arrows can effect quirk performance."

"Fuck…" Bakugo swored. "That's why the blasts we're so big!"

"Yeah. Sorry. I've never used that move before."

"You should strengthen it.

"You think it's ok? Not too dangerous? My quirk has a strange effect on other quirks." Kuri said uncertainly.

"Strange?" Bakugo shook his head. "Nah. You could do a lot with that."

"I never want to fight you again." Kuri said firmly.

"Hah?!" Bakugo cried, insulted. "Why not?!"

"Cuz I almost hurt your quirk. I-I can't risk that!" Kuri exclaimed. "I-I dunno if I can use that move again…" She grew up with a sealed quirk so she was sensitive.

"You didn't though." Bakugo empathized. "And you won't hurt anyone else either."

"Kat, I…wait." Kuri backtracked. "I shouldn't be being all buddy buddy with you! Your so so mean to my brother! A-and—" the only times he mouths off to you are when your flirting with me!

"She's right. Leave her alone Kacchan." Deku said firmly. "You don't get to beat me up one day and flirt with my sis the next!"

"Kat, I-I…" Kuri attempted, agonized. So much pain in his eyes..

"Tch!" Bakugo snapped. "whatever. Fine. Better watch your fucking girlfriend Deku." He stormed off.

A tear fell down Kuri's face. "K-Katsuki…"

Deku put an arm around his sister's shoulder. "I know you like him sis but he's got a whole hell of a lot of growing up to do before he can date you."

Kuri sighed. "Yeah I know. But for a minute…a minute…it was like we were…forget it. Let's go watch."
