Reimu stared at Whispy Woods infront of her, a living tree just like any other except this one seemed more bigger than usual, however someone had beaten him up previously, his teardrop was trailing down the trunk from his right eye with a visible frown on her face, followed by a bandaid that one of the denizens that managed to stay out of Kirby's way had placed on the side of his forehead.

"What is it..?" Whispy Woods gasped out, his face twitching in pain from his previous battle "Can't you see im r-recovering right now?"

"What beat you up anyway?" Reimu inquired, tilting her head

"A pink.. rotund puffball, but I was too upset that they trampled upon my premises"

A pink.. puffball? It's not what she expected but if they did beat him up alongside the beaten up denizens in Fruity Forest, that would mean that he's out there solving the incident like her too.

"So you tried to beat them up, but instead you got your roots handed to you.." She has no idea how living trees like Whispy Woods here fight anyway, but whoever they were, they sure did do a number on the poor tree here

"T-that sums it up" He gasped out once more, before raising a root and pointed at the general direction of where Kirby went "Now can you please get out of my sight right now? Im trying to rest up"

She complied anyway, giving him a nod before walking off with her gohei in hand.

As the path cleared more and more, giving her a full view of what looks like a small castle surrounded by the sea resembling it's moats, she would eventually just walk past it. Unless it has something to do with the incident then maybe she'd-

She would spot atleast several beaten up dreamlanders resting at it's platforms and it's many balconies.

"Okay that is definitely not eye-catching in the slightest" She rolled her eyes, smacking a few Blippers away as they tried to leap out of the water and crash into her before she went out of her way towards the castle through a bridge.

"Wanyaa.." A lone Waddle Dee holding a spear groaned from the corner of her view, then she'd stop at it's entrance..

"Well that's just-" Before she immediately turned to her side just in time for a Shotzo to blast a cannonball at her.

She easily evaded it, the projectiles they shot out were funnily enough pretty slow, but they explode on contact so she had to keep her distance away

What annoyed her is how these seemingly sentient cannons are also invulnerable just like the Gordos that populated half of dreamland, so her explosive ofudas would've done no damage to it.

"Gh" She would hop away from the two more shots that came out from the rotating cannon, best to leave this place be for now as her curiosity has been satiated enough.

She would run around the castle just long enough to encounter it's more paranormal denizens, Boolers which strangely enough resemble the ghosts that previously swarmed her shrine while it was taken over by that tank girl, what was their names again? Bakebakes? anyway.

the other paranormal creatures that she encountered were Gaspars, Mumbies, and Skullers, fitting enemies for a castle that looks very dilapidated from just her view alone. Though unfortunately for all of them, Reimu was specialized in exterminating the paranormal and so were either chased out or exterminated by her ofudas.

They were not youkais however, rather just stray spirits that found themselves haunting a place.. although she COULD consider the Mumbies a youkai? After all a jiangshi in her world was considered one.

She hopped onto one of the floating platforms on the water, turning just to look at the castle one more time.

Lololo and Lalala were at the top of the castle, sitting at the edge of a balcony eating what looks like Tomatoes with a M marking on the front. And each of them had bandaids on their forehead too.

Food here in Popstar has some sort of healing properties, and they were using that knowledge to heal themselves from their fight with Kirby, having failed to stop him in his advance.

"Sheesh, that puffball is way ahead of me aren't they?" She voiced her thoughts out, shaking her head as she turned towards an island that her platform was nearing.

Taking the leap of faith, the Poppy Maiden would land and smack away one of the Waddle Dees that just happened to block her way there, don't blame her! It literally waddled straight into her trajectory, she was bound to crash into the annoying dude.

And with that, she proceeded to make haste through the entire island, locals that were upset with their food being stolen had gone out of their way to attack her and each other while she was on her way towards the next one.

Funnily enough, the coconuts growing on palm trees were also eager to get her for blood, with them falling down and EXPLODING once it hit the ground

Reimu unfortunately got charred by one

"Ngh, ow.." She shuffled in her pocket, and out came a chocolate bar.

Then she bit into it as relief overcame her.

"I'll never get used to the healing properties of these things" She mused to herself as she proceeded to destroy a wall of Star Blocks, the destroyed blocks leaving behind star coins on the ground

She took each and every one of them without hesitation.

She would reach the end of her path after, with a line of Coners blocking her way. But they seem to be busy.

One coner would emerge from their old small shell to enter into a large shell, another would also remove their shell and enter into the shell left behind and so on.. Truly a wonder of natu-

"Okay I'm getting bored" All the Coners in line immediately turned their eyes towards her, before they were met with exploding ofudas.

She would casually walk away, ignoring the knocked out Coners behind her. How relentless.

The Shrine Maiden eyed at the other islands from here, the waves crashed at the white glistening sands of these beaches. Then she turned her head towards a series of rock pillars that emerged from the teal colored water, signifying her way towards another island.

So far these beaten up guys had led her towards here, but perhaps she can..

"R-reimu?"

And she immediately snapped her head, recognizing that familiar kleptomanic voice as her eyes laid upon what looked like an incredibly familiar person on a broom, she almost wore the exact same outfit as Marisa back home.. But thats probably just a coincidence, perhaps she knew her name becauss-

"Why do you look like you wear her clothes..?" She voiced out her thoughts, her ears flicking "it's like as if you're a carbon copy of her or something."

Aw come on, don't tell me

"Marisa, don't tell me it's actually you"

"REIMU!?" She almost fell out from her broom from the sheer shock of her suspicions being confirmed, her foot flailed around as she pulled herself up and saddled her broom again

"IT'S YOU!?" she leaned forward with widened eyes

"Eeyup" She would stick her gohei against the ground, before leaning on it, giving the reincarnated Marisa a frown "Are you actually Marisa though?"

"Well DUH, DAH ZE!" She shouted, bopping up and down on her broom with visible fuming clouds from both her cat ears "I've been collecting mushrooms and relearning my star magic ever since I woke up here! Or rather born here because it's been tens of years! Raised by my mother nevertheless!"

"Well it looks like we're in the same situation then, I also woke up with two parents too, feels like a blessing from the Hakure-"

"You have two parents?"

"Yeah?" Reimu nonchalantly replied, before deadpanning "don't tell me you only have a mother"

"Yeah, no big deal though" Marisa waved her off with a chuckle, her hand making a shoo shoo gesture "It's not like as if a father figure would change anything, infact im already grateful for how supportative my only mother was!"

"Could've been better, if you still had a father then maybe your kleptomania would've be curbstomped if you retained it" She retorted

"Hey! It's called borrowing! Im just letting my clients know that they'll get it back once I die!"

"Of course you retained your kleptomania.." She shook her head before chuckling "glad you're here though Marisa, thought I would've be alone in this world without anyone I'd knew"

"Same same" The Keke nodded with a happy look, before she changed the topic "anyway you got your food stolen too?"

"Yea-"

"IYYYAAAAAAAaaaaaaaa!"

Her head immediately turned towards the direction where the shout came from, from a distance, she would see a large round whale in the distance.. Followed by a pillar of water which revealed a figure flying up into the sky

From what she can deduct from this, poor dude apparently got themselves blasted off into space thanks to the blast of water from the whale. May they rest in peace.

"Guess poor guy got 'emselves launched into the sky, how unfortunate!" And the reincarnated magician laughed out loud.

Reimu would sigh before she would begin hopping from rock to rock, avoiding the cannonballs that seemed to shoot out from the water below, galncing closer she could spot.. are the unmanned cannons floating down by itself!?

"Need help?" The Black and white magician called out with a smug voice from afar, to which she replied with a harsh no.

"Alright then" She shrugged before she began standing on her broom "I'll be off to find the army that stole my food, you'll be out there swimming with the fishies m'kay?"

"Uhuh" She struck a leaping Squishy in the air with her ofudas, which resulted in the poor squid falling to the water and exploding in a large splash of water, to which she covered her face from

"And then once you finally arrive to the incident perpetrator, you'll be surprised as I stand proud over their beaten body!"

"Be careful about firepower Marisa, they don't have spell card rules in place"

"I already noticed a long time ago, I'll be careful then!" She then zoomed off, with Reimu standing in place and stared with a deadpan expression.

"Hopefully she is.."

And Marisa would stop in place, just in time for Reimu to see a battle between a figure and what looks like a Zeppelin with a cannon going on in the sky.

"Oh this I gotta see!"

She can hear Marisa shouting in the distance, to which she would shake her head. Passing the whole obstacle course in a matter of seconds before getting out of the Float Islands through another bridge.

Marisa was visibly dissapointed when the Zeppelin already began to burn and fall towards the sea, burning brightly with heaps of smoke left in it's trail.

And as the small victorious figure disappeared into the clouds, she would tilt her head

"Huh, would'va thought it would've been longer" But perhaps the incident resolver here has way more power than her, to which she would definitely scoff at. "Anyway, better follow their path, see if there's anything interesting going on with em."

And Marisa would fly off towards Bubbly Clouds, a massive place with puffy clouds, decorated with all sorts of colorful objects and ancient cities already inhabited by Dreamlanders.

While for Reimu? She went through another part of Fruity Forest instead.
