The winds howl harsher than before, and the clouds roll over the mountain ranges as the wind picks up it's speed, the only thing that was keeping Reimu and Hammer Kirby from being blown off their track was a set of lavender chainlink fences and they weren't even that reliable.

The atmosphere was getting much colder while a sense of foreboding danger looms in the distance, Reimu took the time to sightsee while they were this far up.

A overall view of this subregion from this high up was what Reimu was seeing, she didn't really get to know what this region was actually called just yet but it did had fences that named these particular locations really. From Peanut Plains where stars and such dot the landscape to the now ruined castle, and then there was the massive star shaped lake, accompanied by the mountains with a flattened out peak

at this point she didn't had to wonder why they looked like that, Dreamland had already shown her several impossible things and it was starting to not bother her that much, more or less make her warm up to it too.

"Hm.." The Poppy Sis Jr hummed

She turned towards Kirby who was looking at the flat-peaked mountain range with an awestruck look, poking at his side with a gohei to get his attention.

"Hey, we're about to fight the troublemaker of this incident, you think you're up for it?"

She may have already seen Kirby in action before, with him dealing with that 'king' penguin and the multitudes of fights that he got himself into during this incident, but no way is she letting the little guy die to this, especially when he somehow has a track record of being incredibly reckless but he did back it up with his strength.

Kirby brought a hand up to his chin.. And raised his hand up as a challenge

"Hup!"

"Oh well, you've already shown yourself to be strong so I can't really complain, now then.."

She shrugged with a sigh and turned towards the peak of the mountain, letting off a breath and shivered "how do we even get up there.."

She still had no way of flying just yet in this second life

"Ah!" Kirby perks up, picking up Reimu's interest and making her turn towards him with a raised eyebrow. Kirby smiled at her before turning his face towards a direction in particular with Reimu soon following after his action.

She squinted her eyes once more, and then opened them right after she saw a glint in the sky.

A comet.. And its shooting right at them..? Wait..

"HAAAIII!" Kirby waved at said star, which would slow down before stopping right in the middle of the grounds they were on, as she was processing the presence of the Warp Star right infront of them, Kirby would proceed to hop onto it with no hesitation before calling out to Reimu

"Hooy!'

Kirby gestured to hop on in, and Reimu stared at him with a blank look.

She proceeded to let out a hum and ran towards it..

"Wait how do I even get on?" The star shaped transport looked too smooth for her to pretty much cling onto even with her hands, Kirby would pretty much just hop down and gestured towards the star, then proceeded to hop back ontop of it in a step by step process, grabbing onto the surface of the Warp Star somehow and using his feet to cling onto it

"Hai!"

"Ookay.." She shook her head before she decided to hop on too.

Oh.

It's that easy to grab ahold of, Reimu was taken aback by how she easily grabbed ahold of the surface of the star despite it's smooth look, but books can't really be judged by its cover this time.

"Hai!" Kirby nodded at her, to which he patted the star.

The star shook violently, prompting Reimu's hands to grip on tighter, she nervously looked at the surface of the star she was gripping on before questioning Kirby

"W-what's going on..?"

"Hai!"

The Warp Star slightly descended down an inch.

And zoomed off into the peaks, with Reimu screaming out in surprise as the voice fades off..

...Girls are preparing for a fight, please wait warmly...!

"iiiaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAA-"

The Warp Star would crash into the ground, sending Kirby and Reimu into the air, the former wasn't even bothered by the crash landing that he just brought onto themselves while the latter went tumbling on the grass, Kirby immediately brought a hand up his mouth after catching a glimpse and landing with a plop.

"OW!" Reimu finally stopped tumbling as she remained faceplanted on the floor, blades of grass stuck onto her face as she raised her head up. A scowl forming while the Poppy Sis turned to Kirby.

"You.. Reckless brat.." She's starting to get tired of the puffball already, the pinky in question would begin to run over and bow profusely before the shrine maiden, muttering poyos here and there.

"Poy! Oyo! Oyo.."

"Ah.. Ugh, yeah yeah fine" She rolled her eyes and waved him off after a few seconds of apologizing "Just enough with being all reckless. Im sick and tired of it"

"Hai.." He weakly responded from the ground with a raised arm, his face still facing the grassy floor below..

"Well then.." She turned to see her surroundings, only finding a great view of the region around her and clouds that flew to the top as fast as the winds, and speaking of winds..

She was struggling to keep her clothes from fluttering this hard, and normally she wasn't even fazed by such winds, even in her past life.

"Now where the hell is that giant bird..?" She wondered out loud, Kirby also looked alongside her, but this time he was the one to find the White Winged Bird herself.

"Poy!" He pointed at the distance, seeing a red growing silhouette flying over the flat-peaked mountains, Reimu soon followed his gaze.

"Dynablade.." She muttered her name, the Great Bird that the Candy Mountain denizens would mention every now and then, a giant legendary bird whose domain extends over to all of Candy Mountain in particular.

She had witnessed the bird slice through trees, hills and such before, and she had no idea why and how, well until she finally saw the unobscured figure of the bird herself.

Her wings, No wonder she was called Dynablade, her wings are practically reflecting the light of the sun as if they're made of metal.

And said wings are being used as a weapon right now.

Both of them would realize what Dynablade was about to do

"DUCK!"

Both incident resolvers would immediately drop down on the floor, their hands over their heads as they felt a surge of wind fly past above them, Dynablade was this close to cleaving into the two with that maneuver.

Reimu stood back up with Kirby following after, dusting her clothes and gritted her teeth at the bird who would promptly descend onto the ground.

Dynablade glared at the two small beings before her, and proceeded to screech, extending her wings outwards to appear larger, with Kirby and Reimu assuming a stance shortly after.

Dynablade flapped her wings up, lifting herself off from the ground as Reimu and Kirby shielded themselves from the winds coming from her bladed wings. The two incident resolvers would look up to see outstretched claws coming after them, to which they would immediately duck once more with Reimu yelping.

Reimu rolled to face the sky on the ground and threw several of her ofudas at Dynablade while Kirby hopped back onto his feet and ran around the bird.

Dynablade covered herself with her wings, the talismans slapping on and exploding, damaging the wing by the slightest. She would look out from the wing and puffed out air bullets at Reimu to which she would roll away and hop back on her feet, the air bubbles kicking up dirt and rocks on contact with the ground

"Drats!" She cursed, seeing Dynablade stomp the ground and shaking the earth. Kirby saw an opportunity and began swinging his hammer towards the big bird.

Dynablade was caught offguard by the hammer and promptly stumbled back before scowling and lunging at Kirby with her head. Said puffball would hop out of the way with a gasp, avoiding the attack.

Both attackers were as nimble as ever, with Reimu slapping explosive paper slips onto the bird's wings and body and Kirby taking up most of her attention with the mere hammer in his hand.

Dynablade was getting annoyed, she flew up right into the air and flew into the background.

Reimu and Kirby watched as Dynablade began to soar towards them with her wings outstretched, intending to cut the two on the ground this time, and they had one thing on mind.

They jumped up, with Reimu reaching for her gohei to time a SMACK on Dynablade's head right as she flew under them.

It landed, Dynablade lets out a shriek as she flew back onto the area, but she hasn't backed down just yet and Reimu and Kirby knew silently. The two began to clash once more with Dynablade's attacks intesifying from more air bullets to lunges and attempts at claw grabbing. At some point even Kirby was hit from one of them!

Eventually it was starting to come to a close

"Just go down you turkey dinner!" Reimu shouted as she rolled out of the way from an incoming head lunge "Kirby! You got that hammer of yours, use it you brat!"

"Poyo!" He affirmed. Running over to a rock and hopping on it. As Dynablade began to fly up, Kirby readied his hammer..

And hopped up into the air.

And then he swung it down.

Hitting the giant bird in the head, a direct hit.

Dynablade's pupils shrunk, and she flew up much faster than before. Only this time she stopped flying a few meters into the air.. Her still body would fall down and crash into the ground, a cloud of dust and dirt covering her body for a few seconds letting Reimu and Kirby see their handiwork..

"Poyo!"

"Whew.. Atleast we did it" She sighed, wiping sweat off her head

She turned to see Kirby position himself in front of the knocked out Dynablade for a dance, rolling her eyes with a slight smile on her face.

"Hai!" And he hopped up for his first dance move.

Only for a chirp to interrupt the dance, and the music too. Making Kirby fumble and flop down on the ground, Reimu looked around for the sight of the bird responsible for that suspiciously loud chirp..

Soon the chirps would start to sound more and more, as if something had woken them up from their slumber..?

"Poy!" He hopped up from the ground and looked around his surroundings, his eyes landing onto the collection of bushes and seeing how the chirps were coming from that direction, Reimu had the same idea.

Kirby then investigated, hopping over and pushing the bush aside with Reimu soon following from behind..

Kirby was taken aback

"A-ah!?"

"Oh. It's a bird nest.." She spoke disappointedly

A nest the size of their height was shown right in front of the two incident resolvers, with approximately three chicks chirping and constantly hopping in place for it's mother to feed them food..

Food..

"Oh, that giant bird was trying to feed them wasn't it?"

"P-poyo!" He was apparently shocked that Dynablade was like this for a genuinely good reason. She's a mother! No wonder she was cutting up crops for her birds to feed on

"So what should we do then? If there's more of them they could probably cut up even more stuff.. Ugh"

"Poy poy!" He shook his head fiercely, prompting Reimu to look at him with a raised eyebrow

"Eh?"

Kirby hopped out of the bush with Reimu's eyes locked onto him, the puffball would look around and place his hands on the nest, right before he began to push the nest of chicks..

"W-wait!" Reimu was taken aback by this, she would also hop out of the bush with a loud confused tone on her voice "What the hell are you trying to do with the chicks!? Listen to me! Oy!"

And the denizens below saw the two incident resolvers carry down the nest, bewildered and horrified.
