This one-shot is pre-series and doesn't reference any particular episode.

The legalities. I do not own any of the Librarians franchise (characters, places, and objects especially) and this is mostly au. Rated M just to be on the safe side.

Also, please don't be afraid to write reviews. I would love to hear from you all!

Hope you enjoy!

Prompt: "You're an idiot. In a good way."

"I'm confused."

"Exactly."

"Flynn Carsen, sit down now before you begin to bleed again! I was barely able to stop your bleeding the first time!"

The Librarian in question glared at the young woman that had just yelled at him. He had just come back from obtaining another artifact for the Library to keep safe and had gotten hurt in the process. "It's not that bad. Besides, I need to catalogue…"

"Enough!" Aurora "Ra" York slammed the First Aid Kit she'd made down on the table next to Flynn. "In the three years since I joined the Library, I have seen you place yourself in so much danger without a single thought for your own well-being. I may not be your Guardian, but that doesn't mean that I'm going to let you kill yourself with your habits!"

A voice cut in from behind them. "She is right, you know."

The two turned and looked over at the mirror that held Judson's spirit. The First Librarian had passed just after the Archivist had joined the Library and Flynn (though he tried to hide it) was not taking it well. "But Judson…"

"Flynn, you need to at least try to accept her help. That is why she was chosen."

Ra rolled her eyes as her companion started to argue with his mentor. Taking advantage of his distraction, the Archivist quickly pulled off the old dressing and slapped an antibiotic patch on the wound, causing Flynn to yelp and glare at her again. "Was that really necessary?"

"Yes." She worked in silence for a minute or two, ignoring his continued glare. "You know, you're an idiot. In a good way."

She could practically feel the confusion coming from Flynn. "I'm confused."

"Exactly. Alright, all done." Ra moved back, pulling the gloves off of her hands as she stared impassively at the Librarian. "You do realize how lucky you are that that person who attacked you was so inexperienced, right? Because if they had stabbed you in literally any other place, you would be in danger of bleeding to death."

The Librarian narrowed his eyes at her, though she was looking down at the First Aid Kit and didn't see him. "It wouldn't have mattered since we have Bathsheba's Oil of Healing here in the Library!"

Ra rolled her eyes as she crossed her arms. "There is only a finite amount of that, and you know it. Also, what in the world would you have done if you had been stabbed by an enchanted blade, like Excalibur for example? The oil would not have worked. Just some food for thought."

"I hate you."

"The feeling is mutual, idiot."
