Prompt: "Bring them home. All of them."

"But…"

"All. Of. Them."

It was all that Ra could do to pretty much ignore Flynn and Colonel Baird when they joined her in the workroom. Well, it seemed more like the Librarian was trying to avoid the woman (Guardian? Ra wasn't completely sure as of yet), as well as Judson when he made his presence known in the mirror. Luckily, she had taken solace on the second floor amongst the stacks, having had a sudden thought.

She had just found what she had been looking for when she heard Flynn thundering up the stairs and start searching for something. The colonel must have followed him because she spoke now. "What are you looking for?"

"The ledger!"

Ra smirked before speaking up. "I've got it." She turned around, handing it to the eager Librarian before addressing the colonel. "When the Librarian dies, the Library doesn't send out just one letter, but hundreds. It invites these hundreds of qualified replacements all over the world in for an interview."

"Many are called, one is chosen."

The Archivist nodded as Flynn began explaining how Jonas Sheir (the man who died on their doorstep) would have been qualified. She furrowed her brow when the other two began to look at the rest of the list, finding more deaths as they continued to search. A feeling of dread settled in her stomach as Flynn looked over at her before he spoke. "Someone's killing Librarians."

Baird seemed slightly oblivious as she kept searching. "Not all of them, just these top-ranked dozen or so. Here, these three top-ranked candidates don't pop up on death notices."

Ra sighed as Flynn leaned over the ledger again. "They didn't come in for interviews." He paused for a moment before practically exploding. "Ezekiel Jones?"

The Archivist groaned as Flynn continued; she'd heard his rant about the thief all too often. Before Ra could interject, however, Baird did. "Well, maybe these three got dropped to the bottom of the kill list because they didn't come in for an interview. They could still be alive."

"Bring them home." Flynn and Baird turned towards Ra, who now had a very determined look on her face. "All of them."

The Librarian furrowed his brow at her. "But Ezekiel Jones…"

Ra rolled her eyes. "I don't care, Flynn. All. Of. Them."

Before the Librarian could respond, Baird spoke up again. "First contact's address is in New York."

Flynn nodded. "Then that's where I'm going. Thank you for your help. See, I really, really work better alone."

"What Judson described. A partner. That's sound operational structure. And what about Ra?"

The Archivist scoffed. "According to him, I'm just an annoyance. Good luck with convincing him, Guardian. I'm going to forewarn Charlene. Keep your receipts!"

"You're worse than Charlene sometimes."

"Whatever you say, Flynn. Whatever you say."
