As soon as Luna turned up to school a few days later, dressed in her iconic black ripped jeans and distressed oversized jumper, she was pretty much immediately cornered by Scott, Allison and Stiles before class. "Woah! What the hell is going on?" she hissed as all three of them hurriedly bundled her into the classroom without a single word.

"We wanted to as a favour - Derek basically thinks that Lydia is the Kanima," Scott hissed to her.

Luna's head recoiled and she put her bag down on a desk closest to her.

"Lydia?!" she finally scoffed back sceptically. "Derek wishes - I mean, that would make his life way too easy!"

"Wait, what do you mean?" Allison frowned from where she was watching the door.

"I mean that Lydia, in her regular form, is a total socialite babe, right? Easy to get to, gentle to speak to - hardly a threat outside of her snarky comments and genius mind," Luna explained shortly, cocking her head to the side as the realisation slowly fell onto all their faces. "Imagine if it was anyone a little more robust, someone who already has an awful personality as it stands? Derek would have his work cut out for him - they guy is lazy enough as it is!"

"Good point," Scott frowned.

"Well either way, he's pretty much convinced that it is her right now - so could you look after her until we know that she's in the clear and we can prove to Derek that she's innocent?" Stiles murmured, nudging his head to the left where Lydia was already sat.

Well - this was what Luna was made for.

"O-of course I can, leave it to me," Luna agreed without hesitation, before pouncing over to Lydia and slamming herself at the desk next to her.

Lydia jumped at the sudden noise and blinked at the grinning Luna blankly.

"Hey Lydia!"

"Hi…Luna," Lydia frowned slightly, slowly putting down her textbook to pay attention to her. "How…uh…how are you doing?"

"Good! Great in fact, just…plodding along in life, you know," Luna beamed back brightly. "Hey, here's an idea! How about we go shopping together this afternoon? Now wouldn't that be fun? Give us a chance to catch up and…ya know, get to know each other?" Lydia couldn't help but blink at her eagerness, unsure whether to take it as endearing or straight up overfamiliar.

But, at the same time, she wanted to get her mind off of all that happened with Jackson - so she hesitantly agreed.

"I guess we could go shopping together," she considered carefully. "But-" Before she could even finish, Luna smiled and dragged her up by her forearm, leading her out of the school and to what she considered to be safety without another word.

A few days later, Luna rushed to open the front door of her apartment to see Isaac stood on her front step apprehensively, clutching a beautiful bouquet of purple and white flowers in his hands. "Isaac!" she gasped shallowly. "How…what…"

"I'm sorry, I know I should've called beforehand," he apologised with a wince. "I just thought we could continue our date before time runs out for us, you know? I felt really bad after going for Lydia that other night just to find out it was Jackson all along, and when I saw you with her leaving school the other day I…"

"You're forgiven, I know you were just following your leader - and don't worry, time isn't going anywhere - we're safe. This, whatever we're doing, is completely safe," Luna smiled as she dragged him into her house properly and shut the front door behind him. Isaac smiled sheepishly. "I have been thinking about you, though. I mean, I thought our date was going so well on that day so whenever you wanna continue it-"

"It was, wasn't it? And I really enjoyed spending time with you. I mean you're hot, you're fascinating, you're a great listener and you have a pretty great heart from what I can tell," Isaac began to explain awkwardly. "So I just thought that-" Suddenly, before he could finish, Luna practically pounced on him. She pulled his head down and slammed her lips hotly into his.

At first, Isaac had no idea what was happening, or why she was suddenly so clearly obsessed with him, but he continued to deepen their kiss regardless, holding the side of her face to help the movements and their fluidity. Luna nibbled on his bottom lip as Isaac hoisted her up against the hallway wall and trailed kisses down her neck, leaving Luna to let out a soft moan as she felt Isaac's grip around her body get even tighter.

"Wanna explain what's going on?" he growled into her neck between kisses.

"Later - w-we can talk about it later," Luna panted before harshly reattaching her lips with his once more.

"Hey, can I ask you a question?"

"Shoot."

"Do you not think that us sleeping together so soon is gonna be a problem?" Isaac chuckled the next morning once Luna woke up, blinking her eyes with a dreamy look on her face. She was laying on his chest comfortably in nothing but an old shirt, with that being all she had time to put on after they did the deed together…multiple times and rather roughly…the night before.

"Why the hell would it be a problem?" Luna giggled, rubbing her eyes like a little bear before kissing his pecs softly.

"I don't know - you just kinda pounced on me when I came to pick you up - we haven't even been on the actual date yet. We moved from one to the other pretty fast, you know? That…is not always a good thing," Isaac chuckled as he kissed her forehead repeatedly.

"I know. I kinda had the sudden urge and I took it," Luna shrugged back innocently.

Then she froze.

"I do this all the freaking time- did I do too much? Have I freaked you out?!"

"Hardly," Isaac scoffed back. He tipped Luna's chin up with his index finger and kissed her once more, pushing her back onto the bed with a small moan of his own as her slender leg hooked around his waist - before Luna's bedroom door suddenly whacked open.

She and Isaac broke apart with a gasp to see now only her mother, but also Stiles of all people stood there, gobsmacked.

"LUNA?!" he was the first one to yelp accusatorially. He looked crushed, as if he had just caught his girlfriend cheating on him - which was ironic in itself.

"Luna," her mother was the next one to growl, already sensing exactly what Isaac was from where she was standing in the door. "Oooohhh Luna Eliana…"

"God, Ma, please don't be weird about this," Luna groaned as her cheeks flushed red. She ducked her head in sheer embarrassment whilst Isaac lifted the covers over his head with a regretful groan of his own. "And Stiles?! What are you doing in here?"

"I came to talk to YOU," Stiles snapped back sassily. "But excuse me if I'm interrupting something!"

"I mean…" Isaac trailed off uncomfortably, peaking back over the bedsheets again.

"Don't you dare finish that sentence you literal, ass!" Stiles groaned, smothering his face with his hands and spinning around to knock his forehead against the wall instead. "Luna, I just wanted you to know that Scott has briefly joined Derek's pack until we can find the Kanima and its owner."

"He has?!" Isaac gasped.

"Strength in numbers - pretty wise," Luna's mother nodded - but she was still frowning over at Isaac. "Luna, do you think I could speak to you out here for a second, please?"

"Sure - not like that would make everything even more uncomfortable than it already is," Luna winced, swinging her legs off the bed and making her way to her mother. Stiles and Isaac were left by themselves in her bedroom awkwardly - and the silence was deafening.

"So…" Stiles let out slowly.

"Don't even try and make conversation, Stiles. Just…don't," was all Isaac said with an uncomfortable grumble, causing Stiles grimace and quietly agree before falling silent himself.

Meanwhile, Luna's mother was going in pretty hard on her daughter from where they were fighting it out in the living room, stunned at her actions. "Luna, you know that man is a wolf? I can smell his stench from here!" she hissed disapprovingly, shaking her head in disgust.

"I know what he is, ma," Luna grumbled as she slipped into the kitchen to make herself a coffee. "But he was a kid in my class before he was part of some pack and for your information, I like him. A lot."

"Sweet, but how do you think the Moon Council will feel when they see that you decided to hook up with a newly bred wolf?! I feel like that goes against most of their rules, don't you?" her mother continued to rant, covering her face with her hands in exasperation.

"I don't particularly care what they have to say," Luna scoffed back under her breath. "They're the ones who told us that love is love, and all that jazz. If they don't wanna accept this just because he's a wolf then…" She shrugged carelessly. "I mean, you married my dad who we all know…didn't exactly have a knack for things in the supernatural either."

"Good point," her mother groaned, shaking her head in defeat and finally dropping her hands so that they dangled to her side. She couldn't argue with the facts there - Luna's dad was the most regular of men and frankly couldn't care less about the supernatural side of his family. "Fine, do what you want. Just stay safe, get back up there and get him dressed again, please?"

"Fine," Luna sighed before flouncing off. She stepped into her tense bedroom again and Stiles immediately stood up straight and cleared his throat.

"So…okay! I'm gonna…kinda…head out. Great. I'll…um…I'll see you guys later then - enjoy and stay safe," he smiled awkwardly before quickly dashing out of the room, leaving Luna frowning after him and closing her bedroom door behind his scarper.

"Was he always that awkward for your entire friendship?" Isaac asked her as he sat up in bed, revealing his angelic bare chest again.

"Yes. That's my Stilesy. The most awkward man that ever did live," Luna giggled back sweetly. She strolled over to the bed and slowly mounted Isaac's lap, causing him to grip on her small waist as quickly as possible and smirk up at her. "So Isaac - when are you officially making me your girlfriend?"

"I mean we've had one thirty minute date and one extremely hot night, we can go for it right now if you really want - no point waiting if you ask me," Isaac chuckled back.

"Sounds good to me," Luna smiled against his lips, as he flipped her onto her back again and pressed longing kisses down her chest, stomach and right where she needed it to be as she giggled away.

"So wait - Luna and Isaac were like…together together? In bed kinda together?" Scott blinked to Stiles that same morning, where they were both chilling in his dad's van whilst Jackson was locked up in the back.

Causing a ruckus, of course.

"I mean…he was very much topless and she was pretty much glowing - in fact I'd put money on the fact that they'd been having sex seconds before I walked in. Which, by the way, is enough to send me into a stroke," Stiles grunted back, whilst blankly staring at his steering wheel. "They seem pretty in love."

"Love? So soon? I mean…cute," Scott mused carefully. Stiles' eyes darted up at him and he let out a scoff of disbelief.

"Oh okay, it's official - you hate me!"

"What, for saying they're cute?! Don't you think that's a little dramatic?" Scott chuckled, nudging his side. But Stiles sighed and rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, I guess. I just wasn't expecting her to date…him…of all people. And…so soon after moving here. She's barely had the time to settle in!" he trailed off awkwardly. Scott raised an eyebrow.

Now he understood.

"Oh my god, you're totally and utterly in love with her aren't you?" he chuckled, shaking his head. Stiles shot him a glare.

"Scott, don't. She's…she's my best friend. I haven't seen her in a long, and I mean a longgggg time and we gotta fall back into the relationship - I mean friendship again. So no, I'm not 'in love' with her, come on - it's not possible," he rolled his eyes and leaned back in the seat properly. "It could never be possible."

Then he thought of her properly.

Her face. Her body. Her mind. Her empathy.

Her heart. And as he thought more about her heart, the more he could feel his own long to hug her.

"It's not like she'd ever go for me anyway, I mean…she's Luna, the stunningly beautiful Moon Spirit girl thing - and I'm…well, I'm just me."
