Chapter 13: Team Bonds
After Sonic and Co. along with the help of the newly revived Cosmo saved the city-state of Meropis gaining a Chaos Emerald while at it. Shadow, Rouge, Omega, Whisper, Ace, Tangle, and Shard are on a mission to escort the President of the United Federation to begin talks with the royals.
"This is so boring," Tangle said as she began to do leg stretches.
"We are just here to keep watch over the president," Whisper said.
"Yeah, quit acting like a child Tangle," Rouge knocks her down as Tangle groans.
"Whatever," Tangle said. "So Sonic and others managed to beat that crazy wizard's plans," Tangle said.
"Yes, they are doing good work to put a halt to Naugus's plans," Shadow said as he looked over to see a tall blond human girl waving at him.
"Yes, they have been doing good work lately. This battle in the city was a mess but they pulled through," Whisper said.
"Indeed, chances were very low for success," Omega said as he played the battle within his mind not getting why they managed to win.
"I heard Cosmo came back and aided them," Shadow said as everyone else was surprised by this.
"Tails' little plant girlfriend. She is back, oh hell yeah," Tangle said to let out a squeal of joy. The leaders look over to the bodyguards as Tangle looks embarrassed with rubbing the back of her head. "Oh sorry," Tangle said.
"It's quite exciting, we haven't seen her since that whole Metarex crisis," Shard said as both Team Dark and GUN Task Force X aided Sonic and the others against the Rouge Seedrians in space.
"It wasn't that long ago when that happened," Ace said.
"At least another soul was saved to have a better life," Shadow said feeling happy inside that Cosmo had a second chance. After learning about her past with her evil father Dark Oak using her as a spy against her will, he feels sympathy for her as she remembers of his tragic past and what a mess it was.
"Yes I miss that little plant girl, so polite just like Cream," Rouge said
"Yes Cosmo deserved a chance to live her life without fear," Shard said as he felt sympathy for he hated being used by Eggman in the past as a vicious weapon.
"Tails is lucky," Whisper said feeling happy for Tails.
"You okay Whisper," Ace asked to place his hand on her shoulder as she shook her head.
"Yes at least someone got a second chance. I have to bear with my losses," Whisper said as Ace kissed her on the cheek.
"You got us Whisper," Ace said as Tangle used her tail to pat Whisper on the back.
"Yeah, we got your back girl," Tangle said as Shadow nodded his head.
"Remember what I told you about sticking to the past," Shadow said as Whisper nodded her head.
"Never dwell on the past and forge your path," Whisper repeated what he said to her when he was obsessed with killing her old teammate Mimic who tricked her teammates by getting wiped out by Metal Sonic.
"Yes, revenge is a fool's errand. Always remember that," Shadow said as Whisper nods her head.
"Yes I will always keep that in mind," Whisper said as she is still grateful for him for Shadow is a lifelong friend to Whisper ever since.
"Seems like the President is finished with his talks," Ace said.
"Okay guys, you can have a day off. Check out the city, it's quite beautiful," the president said.
"Well, time to enjoy the sights. Whisper come with me," Tangle said to drag her along as everyone spread out. Shadow spots Hope to wait for him at the door.
"Seems like the peace talks went through," Hope said.
"Thankfully without a hitch, it's such a mess," Shadow said.
"Walk with me Shadow," Hope said to offer him her hand.
"Okay, I will amuse you," Shadow said as Hope wants to hop for joy.
"Yes, come on. Let's see the city together," Hope takes him out of the palace to see the whole city in front of them.
Elsewhere Tails, Sonic, and Mina are back at Tails' Workshop in Mystic Ruins with Cosmo resting in her new room. "Well Cosmo needs her rest but I am glad at least she is back," Tails said.
"Of course, little buddy. She earns it after saving the city," Sonic said as it's been a day that passed since they got back to the surface from the underwater city of Meropis. They managed to get the Chaos Emerald with Naugus and his forces having two emeralds with four of them out there in the world.
"We worked hard and got more than we bargained for. Cosmo is now part of her team and with her new powers, she will only be an asset to us," Mina said as she lets out a big yawn. "Well, we are going to help Amy with her passion project in bringing back Team Rose," Mina said.
"Yeah, the more help the better. See you later Tails," Sonic said as they go out of the building to head back to Station Square. Nicole goes to test Cosmo's body to make sure they are no weird readings as she looks over the holographic screen for tests.
Sonic and Mina quickly got to Amy's apartment to be greeted by her at the door. "Hey guys, you are just in time. I managed to gather my three team members here," Amy said as the four has a tea party with Sticks, Cream, and Gemerl sitting at the table.
"Hey, your ear got fixed," Mina said as Amy has an organic ear replacing her old one but it looks a bit off.
"Yes, Nicole managed to 3D print me a new ear and graft it on my head. It's kind of weird but better than nothing I guess," Amy said.
"Morning Mr. Sonic and Miss Mina," Cream said as she was sipping her cup of blueberry tea.
"Hey Cream," both of them said as Mina takes note that Cream has become a lovely young lady for she is now 13 years old who is almost as tall as Amy now. She is sporting an orange sundress along with blue shoes and white gloves.
"Cream, you are becoming more beautiful every day," Mina said as Cream glows with embarrassment.
"Oh thanks, Miss Mina, I am becoming more like my mom every year," Cream said as she hands her Chao Cheese some poundcake. "Say hey Cheese," Cream said as Cheese coos at the two for they noticed he has become a white Angel Chao with the same red bowtie as before.
"Hey little cutie," Mina said as to give Cheese a high five. "He is getting big lately," Mina said as Cream nodded her head as she fixed her tuft of hair on top of her head.
"Oh yes, I've been taking care of him well lately and he is an Angel Chao now," Cream said.
"So, you are part of Team Rose once again?" Sonic asked.
"Yep, Mom approves of me joining to aid in the fight against Naugus. I have been training with Amy lately with this," Cream shows off her weapon of choice which is an Umbrella.
"That's umbrella Cream," Sonic said.
"I know but Amy got it custom-made for me. It's strong enough to be used as a baton, I can whack robots and bad guys with it. Also, the fabric of the umbrella is strong enough to block strikes, bullets, lasers, and other things like a shield," Cream said.
"Oh, that's so cool, like in a video game or something," Mina said.
"Amy would custom make something like that," Sonic said as Cream hugged her weapon to her chest.
"Yes, this is awesome and Cheese is training to be pretty strong as my partner," Cream said as Cheese emits energy to form a barrier. "He knows some energy powers that would be helpful to us," Cream said.
"Pretty neat, Chao gets strong based on certain traits," Sonic said impressed with Cream and Cheese so far.
"We will do our best Mr. Sonic," Cream said being polite as ever despite being a teenager now.
Sonic and Mina go over to a young badger girl as she aims her bow at Sonic. "Hey, think fast," Sticks fires an arrow with Sonic easily catching the arrow in midflight.
"You are lucky I was fast enough to get it," Sonic said.
"I was counting on that, by the way, the name is Sticks the Badger," Sticks said as they never met with Badger before.
"Amy tells us about you quite a bit. You seem like a unique character, to say the least," Mina said.
"Oh really, did she ever tell about the mystery of our Mobian roots and where we came from?" Sticks asked as Sonic rolled his eyes at this.
"Oh boy, you are those types huh?" Sonic asked.
"What type of you talking about? I speak the truth, Mobians came from aliens," Sticks said as Mina and Sonic looked at each other funny. "I am serious, in the history books we just came out of nowhere. How can you explain that?" Sticks asked.
"There are other theories about how Mobians were made what we are today. Nothing to do with aliens," Mina said as her historical knowledge is unaware of aliens making the Mobians.
"But how it can't be, it's been 12,000 years ago since Mobians showed up out of nowhere," Sticks said.
"I am sorry guys Sticks has strong beliefs in her theories," Amy said as Sticks was offended by that.
"They are not just theories; it just makes sense. Fine, you will know the truth soon enough," Sticks said.
"Anyway, I heard from Amy you are quite the bow user," Mina said.
"Yes, I am very good with a bow. I used to hunt in the wilderness before meeting with Amy a while ago," Sticks said as Amy took a cupcake off the table to begin eating it.
"I found her on the island living on her own. I saved her and now we have been friends ever since," Amy said.
"Island life is nice but being in the city is okay. I never like the noise though, that's annoying," Sticks said biting into a pound cake.
"I see, you are very interesting Sticks," Sonic said.
"Yep very unique," Mina said as Sticks gave them a thumbs up.
"I am and it's good to know you two," Sticks said as they both looked over at Gemerl helping serve the snacks.
"Good to see you both Sonic and Mina," Gemerl said to greet them both.
"Nice to see you again Gemerl, how is Vanilla doing lately?" Sonic asked.
"She is doing well enough. She is nursing Chocola due to illness," Gemerl said as Mina and Sonic were sad about this.
"Oh, that's too bad," Sonic said.
"yeah I hope the little guy is okay," Mina said as Cream held onto her smile.
"Don't worry, mom is great at taking care of Chao. Chocola will be okay," Cream said.
"Indeed, she is very capable. I am here because of Cream's and Amy's request to form a new Team Rose," he said.
"You being here honestly making this team-up more interesting and more well-rounded in terms of power," Sonic said as he remembered how powerful his former self Emerl was.
"I understand, I will do whatever it takes to help Cream and the others protect the world," Gemerl said.
"That's the spirit," Sonic said.
"Well, we are all here to get used to being part of a team. Mina and Sonic are here to help us build teamwork," Amy said.
"I hope you go easy on us Mr. Sonic and Miss Mina," Cream said.
"Trust me Cream, we are going to turn you guys into a true fighting unit," Sonic said.
"Right, let's make Team Rose a real force to be reckoned with," Mina said as Amy was getting pumped for this.
"Alright, you heard them. Team Rose time to move out," Amy said as Sticks tapped her shoulder.
"Hey boss lady, we still need to finish our food," Sticks said as Amy overstepped her step.
"Oops, my bad. Let's eat before we head off," Amy said as they all shared the food before training.
Back with Shadow and Hope beginning to explore the city. "This place is so pretty," Hope said as Shadow saw the energy dome protecting the underwater city.
"It is a sight to behold," Shadow said as he looked over to see the young lady looking quite nice. She is sporting an orange dress with brown boots and her blond hair tied in a ponytail.
"You look nice today," Shadow paying her a compliment.
"Thanks, Big Bro. I wanted to look nice for our meeting with the royals," Hope said as they looked over the shell-shaped buildings within the city. "Quite the interesting buildings," Hope said.
"Interesting indeed, Tails is grateful for giving him those Chaos Drives to help revive Cosmo," Shadow said as Hope was quite happy to hear about this.
"I am so happy Cosmo is alive. She was so sweet when we were all traveling in space fighting the Metarex together," Hope said.
"Yeah, not good times then," Shadow said as Hope playfully taps his head.
"You almost killed Cosmo remember?" Hope asked as Shadow looked embarrassed by that moment.
"Don't remind me, it was a misunderstanding and everything was sorted out in the end," Shadow said.
"It's ironic with your background," Hope said as Shadow nodded his head.
"The thought didn't escape me, Hope," Shadow said as they went to a park that has coral reefs within the huge lake in the middle of the place.
"So pretty," Hope said to sit on the bench with Shadow sitting next to her. "This place is like a dream, Mobians have such interesting kingdoms. Feeling different from the human cities of the United Federation," Hope said.
"Yes, there is a distinction between Human and Mobian cities on this planet. They have their flavor," Shadow said as he and Hope looked up into the dome to see all the sea life swimming through the water.
"What a sight, Shadow," Hope said.
"Hope, how are you feeling about everything happening lately?" Shadow asked.
"Well after my uncle died. People start looking at me funny," Hope said as Shadow looked at her with the utmost attention.
"Are people bullying you?" Shadow said as his big brother instinct kicked.
"Yeah, but I can take it. I have you and the others with me, giving me the strength to push through and try to help others unlike my uncle or half-brother Snively," Hope said as her family name Robotnik is holding her back.
"You are part of Team Dark which is filled with misfits," Shadow said as Hope gives her big brother a hug which Shadow doesn't mind at all.
"Yep, one big happy family. You are my family Shadow," Hope said as Shadow enjoyed her warm embrace.
"Me too," Shadow said.
"I am your Tails to your Sonic," Hope teases them.
"You can say that," Shadow said.
"So adorable," Rouge teases them.
"Hey big sis," Hope said.
"Hey Hope, keeping our favorite hedgehog, Nice and cozy," Rouge said.
"Yep, I was enjoying a little time with you. Seems like you want to hang out with him too," Hope gives Rouge a wink as she takes the hint.
"Oh okay, let me keep him cozy for a bit," Rouge said as Hope went away to let them be alone. "What are you two talking about?" she asked.
"People are bullying her because she is a Robotnik," Shadow said as this greatly offends Rouge.
"The nerve of some people, she can't help who her family is. Poor girl," Rogue said.
"Yes, we were dealt a bad hand but we make the most of it and move forward in life," Shadow said.
"You are right, well she fits right into Team Dark. A thief, a science experiment, and a killer robot along with a Robotnik. What a colorful group of people," Rouge said as she stared up into the dome at the ocean.
"Indeed," Shadow said as they both marveled at the ocean life passing across the energy shield.
"Beautiful, what a sight to behold," Rouge said as Shadow nodded his head.
"Yeah and you look nice too," Shadow said as Rouge was wearing a tight-fitting purple dress showing off her lush curves.
"Oh thanks, you noticed?" Rouge asked as she sat down with him.
"How your body is shaped, it's very hard not to notice," Shadow said as Rogue pressed her ample chest into his arm trying to tease him more.
"You like how I look in my dress?" she asked as Shadow looked a bit embarrassed by this.
"Yes, happy now," he said bluntly.
"Of course, Shadow how do you feel about me?" Rouge asked as Shadow looked at her very sternly to choose his words carefully.
"What do you mean by that?" he asked as Rouge sees despite being a bit flustered he was as stoic as ever.
"Shadow, in my line of work. I don't make many friends or any friends at all. I always look out for myself but then I met you and the others. Doing the right thing like its natural as breathing. It opened my eyes," Rouge said.
"Really?" he asked being intrigued by her line of thinking.
"Yes it did but you are giving up your life to keep a promise to Maria. It moved me and it made me want to do more with my life. Also, you are the first person I felt comfortable being around for a long time," Rouge said.
"What are you trying to say?" Shadow asked trying to make Rouge get to the point.
"Shadow, you are more than a best friend to me. You are the reason why I am even doing this hero stuff. Even someone like you can do good, I can do well too despite me being a dirty thief," Rouge said showing some vulnerability which Shadow finds endearing.
"You are more than a thief Rouge. You stuck by me even when the world was against me during the Black Arms campaign along with Omega and Hope. You all mean the world to me," Shadow said as he saw Rouge, Omega, and Hope as the closest thing to family he ever had.
"I see," Rouge feels flustered by this heartfelt comment. "Shadow, even if the world is against you. I will always be by your side," Rouge said to grab his shoulder to pull him in for a deep kiss. Shadow's stoic nature breaks for a moment to hold onto his best friend.
"Thanks, Rouge," Shadow being grateful to her.
"No problem, so are we a thing now?" Rouge asked.
"I guess so," both of them hear giggling in some bushes nearby. "Hey, who's there," Shadow called out the people in the bushes. Omega, Tangle, Whisper, Ace, Shade, and Hope flop onto the grass looking very awkward.
"It's so beautiful," Tangle said.
"I know right," Hope said as Whisper looked embarrassed.
"I am sorry Shadow and Rouge. They dragged me into this," Whisper said.
"Omega you too?" Rouge asked as Omega gave him a thumbs up looking like a dork instead of a killer robot.
"Mission Complete Shadow, team bond has increased over 200%," Omega said in his monotone voice.
"It's about time anyway," Ace said.
"I know right," Shard said as all their friends witnessed their new bond forming.
"Well, all our friends know now at least," Rouge said as to hold onto Shadow's hand with everyone being excited about this.
Shadow feels at peace being with his friends, his adopted little sister Hope Robotnik, and best friend/partner Rouge around him.
Back with Mina, Sonic, Amy, Cream, Gemerl, and Sticks at the Station Square National Park to be within the secluded area to train. Amy has set up training dummies and a makeshift course allowing them to practice their skills.
Mina looks over Cream using her large rabbits to fly through the course to aid in training her body and reflexes. Mina takes notes to give to Cream. "You need to make sharpen turns along with softening your approach," she said.
'Thank you, Miss Mina," Cream said as she smiled at the cute little rabbit.
"It's okay, I used to be like that too. I had to train my legs and stamina to be a capable partner to Sonic," Mina said as Cream was impressed by this.
"You are amazing Miss Mina," Cream said as Mina felt humbled by the young teenager's admiration.
Sticks and Gemerl are using the dummies to test their accuracy. Sonic and Amy are impressed by Sticks' trick arrows. "Did you make these?" Sonic asked.
"Yep. I got a bunch of them. EMP, Fire, Acid, Explosive, etc.," Sticks said as she fired an explosive arrow from her custom Recurve Bow at the dummy to reduce it to dirt in a big blast.
"Pretty cool Sticks, that would come in handy," Amy said as Sticks felt proud of herself.
"Indeed, I am a crack shot at this," Sticks said as she blew up more targets with explosive arrows. Gemerl is using storage data from before to use speed and his transformed sword arm to chop the dummies to pieces.
"Nice moves buddy," Sonic said.
"Yes I still have some of your combat data which I am using as a baseline for my combat style," Gemerl said as he powered up the blade with energy to release several crescents to slice into multiple targets.
"Well Amy, yourself a nice team here," Sonic said.
"Thank you Sonic, after what happened in Meropis City. We need all the help we can get and I got myself a good line-up," Amy said as she got a message on her phone. "Guys, we have trouble in the city. There is a bunch of huge boars attacking there," Amy said as everyone was confused by this.
"Huge Boars, that's not normal," Sonic said.
"Perfect time to test our skills on the field," Sticks said to grab her quiver filled with trick arrows.
"We are ready to go," Cream said holding onto her battle umbrella with Cheese looking ready to fight.
"I want to see how I fight, lead the way," Gemerl said as the gang headed for the city to see fight off the rouge boars there.
Back with Tails and Nicole taking care of Cosmo as she is still lying in bed. Tails hands her soup to place it on the end table. "Here Cosmo," Tails said as Cosmo took the soup to begin drinking it.
"Thank you, you know Tails. I just noticed. You became so handsome," Cosmo places her slender finger onto his lean chest as even his voice gets deeper which she finds attractive.
"Oh, thank you but you are still taller than me," Tails said as he is now 3'4 foot tall compared to Cosmo who is 3'9 foot tall within her mature form. "Still very beautiful too," Tails blurt out as Cosmo giggles at this.
"Gee, so smooth," Cosmo said as Tails looked bashful.
"Gee, it's been so long since we talked like this," Tails said as Cosmo pressed her hand onto his chest.
"But we are not kids anymore Tails. We both grown up and we must go forward together," Cosmo said as Tails grabbed onto her hand,
"Yeah together, we will get through this and we will live in peace," Tails said as Cosmo smiled at him.
"Of course, dearly," Cosmo said as she felt her cheeks get rosy giving him a pet name. Tails returns with his blushing face.
"Yes sweetheart," Tails said as Cosmo kissed him on the lips.
"We better get used to the pet naming Tails," Cosmo said as she was eating her soup.
"Yeah, I will let you rest," Tails said.
'Thanks, my brave knight," Cosmo said as Tails left the room with Cosmo looking at a plant nearby. She focuses on new powers to make the plant grow to full size with ease. "Very interesting. Now Tails, I will fight by yourself and the others. Time to take my time to shine," Cosmo said as she began to focus on controlling her new powers.
Back in Station Square Sonic, Mina and Team Rose find weird-looking boars who look oversized. "Gee, these things look weird," Amy said as they saw a boar killing a squad of human and Mobian SWAT units.
"It's just like those eels back in the temple. Mutated by dark magic," Mina shoots electro orbs with the Mutant Boar brushing it off. The pig rushes it forward with both Gemerl and Amy using their strength to bash it back into a building killing it on the spot.
"Help me," a small human child said as Cream and Cheese broke off to rescue them.
"I'm coming," Cream uses her large ears to fly towards the human kid. Another boar but much smaller than the last one is about to ram into the child. Cream swoops in to grab the child with Cheese blocking the charge of the mutant boar.
"Chao," Cheese uses his new powers to punch the Boar knocking it onto the pavement.
"Are you okay little one?" Cream asked as she was holding a small human child.
"Yes," the kid said.
"Are you hurt?" Cream asked as the human boy said no. "Good," Cream hovers back onto the ground to drop him there. Cheese gets knocked away by the boar as its aura covers it with dark power. The pig opens its mouth to fire a beam of dark energy. Cream uses her umbrella to open it to block the incoming blast. The beam deflects off her umbrella into the sky.
"Good now," Cream said as she rolled out of the blinding charge of the beast.
"Thank you," the boy said for this made Cream smile as she whacked the boar back with Cheese powers up with energy to tackle the big pig into a wall.
"No problem, now get out of here," Cream said as the human boy nodded his head to move out of there. "Cheese," Cream said as she called him back. Cheese curls into a ball with Cream knocking them into the beast several times with each blowing getting stronger than the last. "Taste this," Cream hits Cream and slams her Chao full force to crush the monster's head killing it instantly.
"Chao," Cheese gives Cream a high five.
"Good work Cheese, nicely done," Cream said as more Boars were starting to pop out all over the place.
"Sonic, I am detecting several energy signals in this area," Gemerl said as they saw a mutant boar smash through a building trying to rush at them. He uses his sword arm to cut the big pig in half with gore bursting all over the place.
"That's gross," Amy said as Mina spotted another dark boar to use her speed to get right at the monster. She lands a mule kick to launch the beast into a truck as she fires a large fireball from her arm cannon to roast the monster into a burned corpse.
Sticks is working with Sonic as she is firing stun arrows to taser three boars leaving them open to attacks. Sonic uses his Spin Dash to cut them down with their bodies torn to pieces by his speed. Sticks fires an explosive arrow to pierce into its skull following up with an explosion destroying its head.
"Amy, look out," Sticks fires stun arrows to stop two boars in their tracks. Amy bashes the two big pigs away from her group.
"Thanks, Sticks," Amy said as she smashed the head of a mutant pig killing the thing.
Gemerl is using his speed and blade arm to cut down several boars leaving piles of gore behind. Gemerl powers up his blade to prepare for his next attack. "Talon Scar," Gemerl unleashes a massive amount of energy crescents killing over 30 mutant boars lined up on the streets turning them all into bloody bacon bits.
"Damn Gemerl, that was cool," Sonic said being very impressed by this.
"Thanks, I was practicing that one," Gemerl said as Sonic, Mina, and Team Rose noticed they were coming from the nearby park. "There is a strange energy signal coming from the park," Gemerl said as Mina thought that the dark tower was the cause of all this.
They go forward into the park to follow Gemerl still wielding his sword arm to see a looming black pillar with the boars protecting it. "Hey, that is just like the pillars at the temple," Mina said as they began to fight off the mutant boars.
"This is getting annoying, so many of them," Amy said as she was knocked into a tree by a charging boar. Sticks fire explosive and stun arrows into boars in a deadly combo stunning them first and blowing up their heads.
"Amy," Cream gets tackled by an evil boar but Sonic catches Cream in his arm.
"You okay Cream?" he asked.
"Yes Mr. Sonic, we need to focus," Cream said as Cheese stopped a charging boar with an energy shield. Cheese follows this up with a strong kick knocking the boar into a tree. Mina and Gemerl use their weapons to smash a few mutant boars with ease.
A dark beam hits Mina sending her flying into a tree as Gemerl releases an energy crescent to chop a mutant boar into large scraps of meat.
Suddenly a wave of ice freezes a bunch of mutant boars as a young woman lands in front of them to snap her fingers to see the monster get killed in icy blasts. "You guys need some help?" the positive woman said.
They all look at the female Manx Cat Mobian who is quite tall standing at 3'10 tall, sporting snow-white hair tied in a high ponytail, red eyes, and orange fur. She is wearing a bright red bodysuit fitting her lean figure along with yellow boots and yellow gloves which match the color of her hair bow holding up her ponytail.
"Who are you?" Sonic asked.
"Well Blue Blur, I am Tiara Boobowski at your service," Tiara said as she let out a blast of ice from her hands to freeze the boars into ice statues. She snaps her fingers to see them explode becoming piles of red ice.
"Come on, let's do this," Mina said as she used a drill punch to use her speed to drive it into the boar's head with blood springing out of the gaping wound made from her impact. "Cube," she punches the ground to turn four Mutant Boars into energy cubes trapping them inside.
Tiara turns her boots into ice skates as she frosts the ground underneath to use her speed and skates to dodge incoming enemies with grace. She cuts and slashes with her skates on her boots to rip the boars apart. She is shooting balls of ice to freeze the boars with Amy, Sonic, and Cream smashing them to pieces.
"Hey ice lady, lining them up for you," Sticks said as she stunned them with Tiara letting out a wide blast of ice to freeze them as she smashed them with a strong-bladed kick.
"Thanks," Tiara said. "Frost Burst," Tiara summons an orb of ice for it to begin to spit out mini ice orbs to seek out their targets. All the surrounding mutant boars got frozen with everyone slamming up the rest of them.
They noticed a huge boar slam through the trees as Tiara flung the huge ice ball to smash into the big boar killing it instantly They managed to clear out the army of mutant boars with the dark tower remaining.
Mina fires her Burst attack to destroy the tower for they look over at their new ally. Tiara powers down to see her long white hair become its natural brown hair and her eyes go from red back to her normal blue color.
"That was one hell of a workout, good job guys. We make a great team," Tiara said as everyone was grateful for her help but was so confused. Amy looks on with amazement at her ice powers.
"Oh my gosh, you were so cool. You were rocking the hair and bodysuit like you are so a magical girl from a comic book," Amy said as Tiara felt humbled by her words.
"It's nothing, just doing my part. Oh, you must Sonic, Mina, and Amy. I saw you guys on the news; you did a good job beating back that crazy wizard and his plans in that underwater city," Tiara said.
"Can you join my team?" Amy asked.
"Someone has a girl crush?" Mina teases Amy as the pink hedgehog is embarrassed by this.
"Shut up, can you join my team Tiara?" she asked as Tiara found Amy's admiration quite endearing.
"Sure, I wanted to put my powers to a real test. I will join your team, Amy," Tiara said as Amy laughed with delight.
"Yes, welcome to Team Rose. We are going to be the most kick-butt team ever," Amy said as Sticks looked at her pretty funny.
"I am watching you, ice girl," Sticks said as Tiara looked on with an awkward smile.
"Okay, cool to meet you I guess," Tiara said.
"Don't mind Sticks, she is always like that," Amy said as Team Rose was completed with Amy Rose as the leader with Cream, Gemerl, Sticks, and now Tiara as members ready to aid Sonic in their fight against Naugus and other foes.
Elsewhere Naugus is getting reports from Metal about finding more minions to add to his ranks. He goes to an old Eggman based on top of an icecap mountain to seek these new allies. "Seems like the Quickster is getting more allies, I need more firepower as well," Naugus said as he blasted open the heavy metal doors to go inside.
He gets into a lift and heads to the bottom level of the complex. "Seems like they are destroying my towers but my dark magic is twisting the areas around the towers including the wildlife. This can be useful in distractions," he thought.
He arrives to see four pods holding Mobians who can be very useful to his cause. He senses power within the area as he taps his staff on the floor to open the capsules. The four Mobians get out of their pods to greet the wizard.
"Who the hell are you old man?" the Orca Mobian demanded.
"I am Naugus. I managed to kill Robotnik and save you from your trapped fates. I need your services for my goals," Naugus said as all the four cyborgs were grateful for freeing them from their prison.
"You killed Eggman. Count me in, I am Akhlut the Orca. Hope I can be of service," he said as he is very large for a Mobian and wields sonic and psychic abilities via his cybernetics.
"I will need someone who can aid in underwater operations for me," Naugus said as he went over to a Lynx Mobian wearing ninja garb. Her eyes are now cybernetic boosting her vision along with other functions.
"I am thankful for releasing me. Me and my cyborg ninja clan the Red Tiger Clan will be of great service to you. I am Conquering Storm or Storm for short. Unlike Eggman, you see value in us," Storm said.
Naugus remembers in his world, Conquering Storm is the leader of a powerful ninja clan in the Dragon Kingdom based on the landmass once called by ancient humans as Asia.
"You and your ninja clan will be a valuable assist to me," Naugus said as he looked over to see the twin wolf sisters.
"You are our new boss now. I am Vix and this is my younger twin sister Vex. We are the Payback Sisters and we will aid you on your mission," Vix said as they have robotic arms allowing them to absorb and throwback energy hence their codenames.
"Very interesting. You can come along as well," Naugus said as he looked to see another pod holding another Mobian. "He is not active but I can use him for some experiments. Come with me, we have much to discuss," Naugus said as he teleported them all out to plan his next move.
