Rose Point of View:
Finally in Stan's class. Don't get me wrong, I love the training session with Dimitri, but I can't day dream while doing laps, stretching and other stuff. Now sitting in my seat, could be more comfortable, like my bed, but it's okay, I could finally close my eyes. Even if Alto thinks I'm a slut, who cares, because he doesn't know what I'm thinking about him. I could get suspended by speaking it out loud, that's something I don't really want to happen now that Alberta kept her word that I can graduate earlier. At least the trials. I still need to stay at the academy until the graduation of the other novices from my class. In a week I'll have my trials that changes my life probably, except for this baby, he or she changed it too, already since I know I'm pregnant.
As my favorite teacher in this whole building enters the classroom, god I would love to kick his ass or break his nose, maybe even castrate him. He shoots me a glance that says 'He know's.' Every Guardian knows it by now, they even have a bet. Fortunately they don't know who the father is.
"You both feeling well Hathaway?" He doesn't speak loud enough for everyone to hear it, but this made me nervous because Meredith was sitting next to me, she looks confused, but didn't dare to say anything because she knows me, she doesn't want one of my outburst.
"Lissa and I are great, thanks for asking." Forcing a smile, this was the best lie which came to my mind so quick, he really caught me by surprise.
"Oh, did I missed something between you and the Princess?" Oh lord, I'll kill him, soon.
"Nothing serious Guardian Alto."
"You think so? It is serious." He looks at me forcefully. Yikes, why isn't he like these pink Duracell rabbits? Only remove the batteries when they are getting on your nerves.
"If you say so, I'm good now, Lissa's good too. But hey, you're the wise man here, and the oldest." And the dumbest I add in my thought. I'm already out of line with my last three words, even if it's true. "Can we please start now?" He finally steps away and turns to the novices.
"Rose, what was that about? That was definitely double meaning. not sexually you know?" she whispers to me "Sorry I asked." Should I tell her what's going on? I know I can trust her, she won't tell, and everyone will see it sooner or later. That keeps me wondering if I will ever get my figure back after giving birth. That will be hard to get my damn hot figure back, but with a lot of training it's possible.
"Everyone will find out sooner or later.." I take a deep breath and start again "I'm pregnant, but shhh, keep it a secret, please! I'll rip your heart out of your chest, alive. You understand?"
"For real? But why does Stan knows it?"
"No, I'm faking a pregnancy. Every Guardian knows, don't ask me why."
"Guess Belikov was shocked?"
"About what?" I whispers
"About you being pregnant, and you having a relationship with someone, without anyone knowing it?" Suddenly I start coughing, and again caught by surprise.
"Why does everybody ask me about Dimitri? Lissa, Alberta, and you.."
"It's pretty obvious Rose, think about it."
"You two, out of my class room now, Guardian Petrov will wait for you!" Alto was furious as he spoke to us. We are screwed. I can't help and roll my eyes, which he saw and now he's even more angrier. I did a good job.
"I always knew I'm some kind of celebrity. Come on Meredith." In less then 10 minutes we are outside Alberta's office, I'm not nervous at all, but Meredith, she's pale and scared, we're not even in the office yet.
"We go together, let me do the talking. Everything will be alright." She nods and we enter her office, I shrug with my shoulders towards the head guardian.
"Trouble again? Guardian Alto?"
"It could be worse. We're here because we talked for 5 minutes in class. It was even his fault that we talked."
"His fault? Why should it be his fault?"
"He talked to me in double meaning, concerning my situation. Asking me 'You both feeling well?', she heard everything, I don't know if the students behind me heard him too. After this with Stan, Meredith found out there's something much bigger behind and asked me." I relaid the whole conversation with Alto to her. "So what are you going to do now with us? Detention? I'm fine with it."
"I'm going to have a serious conversation with him. You both can leave, detention for you is useless, considering the fact that you don't even have that much free time and you never learn from them. And Meredith, you still look so pale, as if you've seen a bunch of strigoi right in front of you, or caught by strigoi." Alberta saw my reaction to 'caught by strigoi', by then she realized what she just said. "I'm sorry Rose."
"It's okay. Hey, by the way, pretty cool bet you have on my behalf. You won, and Dimitri too." I smirk a little bit "What is the prize anyway?"
"He told you? I just won 50 dollars."
"Only 50 bucks? You guys are stingy. Now a bet if it's a girl or a boy?" I really want to say that Dimitri won the main prize but with Meredith nearby it would be to risky, so I rather keep my mouth shout this time, I could tell Alberta was wondering why I didn't say anything about him wining the first prize.
"In progress Rose."
"Okay. We'll leave now. Don't tell him that he told me about the bet, I'm fine with it." The head guardian nods and we leave her office, with a shocked novice on my heels. "Any other questions?" I turn to her.
"Only one more question, but I know already that you don't want anyone to know it. I ask you anyway..I'm curious." I look at her, what now? I know she won't tell anybody else, she will make a brilliant guardian. It is new that she's so curious about personal stuff.
"You know I'm shadow-kissed, with that I can have children with a dhampir. The father's is a dhampir.." Taking a deep breath before continue "It's uhm..-" I got cut off by a familiar voice, who shouldn't be in the novices building.
"You're pregnant by Belikov?" Soon the whole academy would know this. Every moroi loves gossip, except that this isn't gossip, it will ruin our lives. Not exactly ruin, but it makes everything lot harder, they could report Dimitri, or worse.
That leaves me thinking about the trial of Victor Dashkov, 'Your Honor, you might want to consider trying a statutory rape case.' I still frozeat the thought of the trial, would they really consider this at court? I hope not, I was almost eighteen and it wasn't rape at all.
Rose Point of View:
"What are you doing in the guardian building Pyro?"
"Long story short, Lissa's searching for you, she didn't found you in Guardian Alto's class room, Lissa asked Belikov about where you would be, and now I volunteer to bring you to her." I look at him and see a little smirk at one side of his lips. "Could be worse, like Jesse being here, hearing you."
"Christian, you just told her!"
"Well, someone needs to?"
"I swear, if you tell someone else about me, I'll rip your skin from your body, alive. Are we clear? That's not only a empty threat!"
"Woah, don't you have something against your pregnancy hormones?" I think about what he had said, yes there is something, no, someone. Is the janitor's closet a safe place? Uh, above the church? With the risk of getting caught by Christian and Lissa, No thanks. Cabin? I would like that, but getting caught by guardians? Definitely not! Day dreaming is the best option.
"Are we clear, Sparky? Nobody."
"Rosie, I'll loan you and Dimitri the attic for today." He's pissing me off, hello? Meredith's there.
"Just shut up!" I don't ask for informations about Lissa if she would be alright, I say good bye to Meredith, who was clearly still in shock, I was in shock too when I heard the news, but more than her probably, still can't believe the fact about having a baby at the age of eighteen. Sometimes I'm even pissed off that we did't used a prevention. And my so beloved mother still doesn't know. She can wait. Maybe when I'm in labor? She would be speechless, something I really want to see.
My best friend was sitting in the cantine with her guardian on her side. I'm confused, why should Dimitri sit with her?
"Liss what's up? Are you alright?" Looking at her with a concerning face, still no clue what's going on. "Aren't guardians suppose to stay straight like candles, Comrade?"
"We're going shopping, and you need new cloths, mommy! Missoula. There's even a baby shop." She's smiling like a little kid on Christmas, and I? Not!
"No shopping. No baby shop. No maternity cloths."
"Rose, I also need to go shopping for me, and you are by the way my guardian. You need to come with us, as my guardian. Please." She has a point. Fuck.
"Lissa, you know I won't be your guardian when I graduate?" she's looking at me as if she was about to say something out loud, but instead she answers through the bond.
"I can't go to Victoria Secret with Dimitri. Or, I don't want him to go with me to VS." I start laughing, Dimitri in Victoria Secret? HAHA
"Okay, I could need some things too. But no baby shops!" Oh, I'll tease him, that's gonna be fun.
"You have that look on your face, saying you'll have much fun on others behalf."
"I will Liss." I smirk "Wait and see. When? Tomorrow?"
After buying maternity cloths because of her, she drags me to Victoria Secret, her thoughts are the same like mine 'that's gonna be fun.' I can't help it an smile at her. Because Dimitri is kind of my guardian partner today I look often at him, as he saw we entering VS he was amused, I even thought I saw lust in his gaze.
"So, where to? Oh now I know, real short neglige, sexy pajamas too. Bra's and thong's of course too. Everything could be useful now me being with a sexy Russian."
"So much? You wanna tease him right? How?"
"Yep, that's my plan. Don't know yet, I'll need your help." I grin evily while thinking about a plan. I thought about in the car, but teasing him will be hard.
"Rose, I've got a perfect idea, but he'll kill us." I nod and now I'm the one who's dragging her, we searched for about one hour for the perfect underwear, etc. I'm exhausted but it's so much fun to be like a normal young woman, yes sometimes I also scan the area we're in, like a guardian would do.
"What's your plan Liss?"
"You are going to try on your mind-blowing lingerie, the one you won't buy. While you're trying on, I'm calling him, saying he should come, it's urgent."
"Yikes.. Since when are you so risky? Let's try, we really do have a death wish..It was nice knowing you." I grin while walking to the changing room, searching for two cabin's at the end of the row, perfect. There are two left. "I'll shout when I've got the right one."
Dimitri Point of View:
The whole time they were searching, she was teasing me, Rose always turned herself the way that I saw almost every pieces of these damn hot lingerie. I can imagine her in every piece, wow. Let's just say, my pants were already a little too tight and glad no one from the other guardians saw me. While scanning the area we are currently I get a phone call from Lissa, why should she call me? She has Rose as her guardian on her side, so everything must be alright. Even though it's a risk to take a phone call if there would be strigoi. I do it anyway, after all the princess is my charge.
"Princess? Everything alright?" I must have sounded worried.
"Please, come to the changing, the last in the row. It's Rose" My heart stops for a moment, putting the phone away and running to the changings. My new mantra for now is 'she's alright, she's alright' I keep saying to myself.
"Dimitri, in there." she's pointing to the last one. I quickly open the door and see a smiling Roza wearing sexy lingerie. I don't know what to think, In the first moment I was angry but when she spoke the famous words from the night I realized I have feelings for her, the anger was blown away, except my answer is another this time.
"See something you like?" She's asking me with desire in her eye.
I could see she's feeling nostalgic too, even her, with those four words. For anybody else those words mean nothing, they're just words, but for us it's so much more. She could already read me like an open book after this short time, and as she was standing in front of me, only half dressed, in the black bra and jeans, it was like I never noticed her before. I always thought of her as a girl, but oh lord, as I studied her, it became clear to me that she's definitely a woman, not a girl. I hated this Zeklos boy for being with her, kissing her, taking advantage of her that night. I wished I would have been the one when I saw her, but also before this incident, I dreamed of Rose, dreaming of kissing her, a sweet passionate kiss, and caress her beautiful silky hair. Everything started with a mission, bringing back two girls like they said. After the incident with Jesse Zeklos, practice with Rose was the best. Nothing topped that.
"It would be about time to lose your self-control, don't you think so?" My girlfriend asks me with a tempting voice, and good god, I really am about to lose my self-control, while on duty.
