Well, ladies and gents, I am back for another week of 2 chapters. I appreciate you for being patient and happy. I could keep my word and deliver to you what I hope will continue to be 1 week of two chapters of this story.

A reviewer did ask me if summons would vanish when their job was complete which made me pause. It would be pointless if Shiva was going to be with Naruto if she vanishes after the job is done so the answer to him is no. Summons will NOT vanish until they are dismissed or are defeated.

Now some of you might be confused as to why Cloud was willing to call Naruto and the answer is that I don't plan to have Cloud completely forget Naruto like he forgot Zack. (I think it was the trauma along with the help of the Jenova cells in him that caused him to merge and become Zack, at least that's what I read on the wiki. I probably forgot a few details there)

Anyway, enough rambling on with the story.

Fateful Encounters

While Naruto and the others were running to the underground passage Barret directed them to. Jessie, who was being carried over Naruto's shoulder, was a blushing mess.

"So big guy where are we headed?" Naruto asked as Barret looked over toward Naruto smirking when he saw Jessie's blushing face before answering Naruto's question.

"We are headed to Seventh Heaven. From there we lay low and plan for the next mission. Oh by the way my name is Barret, The big guy over there is Biggs. While the sort of large man with him is Wedge and the woman you are currently carrying over your shoulders is Jessie," Barret said while Naruto looked to the woman over his shoulder who looked at him and waved with her red face.

"Well nice to meet the members of Avalanche," Naruto said before seeing the passage just as more explosions started going off.

~underground passage~

"Well we managed to make it, now it is just a straight shot to Sector 8 right Barret?" Naruto asked receiving a nod from him before Jessie spoke up.

"Um Naruto you can put me down now," Jessie said before Naruto did as asked and let her down then they ran toward a door before Wedge spoke up with a curious question.

"By the way bro what was with that sword of yours? I have never seen anything like it," Wedge asked while the other minus Cloud who already knew due to Naruto telling him when he was a SOLDIER was interested.

"I got this from a weapons shop when I was in SOLDIER. Or rather it called me. However the owner said the sword was always in its final form so I would have to figure out the other forms," Naruto said as everyone listened to his every word even Jessie who was working on the door.

"The two forms you saw were Silfarion the speed blade and Explosion the explosive sword. However while Ravelt is the final form I can't use her full power until I have access to the other forms which isn't going so well since I have yet to figure out Rune Save," Naruto said making everyone there nod but confused on why he couldn't use the other forms yet.

"Why can't you access the other forms?" Biggs asked before Naruto grinned while Cloud facepalmed.

"You walked into that one Biggs," Cloud said, confusing him before he saw Naruto running toward him with a sword with no sharp edges on it and runes on it before he ran Biggs through and appeared behind him before Biggs went down dead...Or so they thought.

"BRO YOU JUST KILLED OUR FRIEND!" Wedge cried out in shock while the others save Cloud looked horrified.

"Oh would people calm down, he is fine and Wedge stop calling me bro we do not know each other well for you to start calling me that. Biggs get up your fine," Naruto said, turning to Wedge who nodded, scared for his life before he turned to Biggs who groaned.

"But how? I was sure you ran me through with your sword," Biggs said in shock, getting back to his feet.

"Rune Save is a blade that can not kill. So I can't use it," Naruto said, walking to Cloud cutting off his head only for the blade to pass through him like it did to Biggs making everyone else let out a shaky breath.

"Don't feel bad Biggs I walked into the same trap when I was a SOLDIER myself," Cloud said remembering the first and last time he asked.

~flashback~

"Commander Uzumaki, can I ask you something?" 3rd class SOLDIER Cloud asked him, making him nod and signaled for him to ask.

"Why do you not use your one blade?" he asked, referring to Rune Save before Cloud found himself being run through with said blade then he widened his eyes and fell over seemingly dead before Naruto waited for the Drama Queen to get to his feet which he did seconds later.

"Rune Save is a sword that does not cut therefore I can't use it," Naruto said with a grin while Cloud looked at him with a sour look when he realized he walked into that.

~flashback end~

'Though I am not going to lie, it is funny to see other people who are not me fall for that trick,' Cloud thought with a smirk.

"By the way Cloud did you pick up anything of use?" Naruto asked his friend who nodded.

"I picked up 8 Potions, 3 Ethers, and 2 Phoenix downs though I am sure none of us will be dying since we have Cure but better safe than sorry," Cloud said making them nod then pulled out 2 grenades making them nervous and a moogle medal. What that was for no one knew as of yet.

"Jessie if you would be so kind and blow the door," Naruto said, making her nod before she walked past then winking and making him chuckle.

Jessie then set the bomb and ran for cover before the door blew and they walked out into Sector 8 where upon exiting a Shinra announcement came on saying how Avalanche blew up the Reactor.

While not entirely true since Naruto launched EXPLOSION at the Reactor. The lie Shinra concocted saying that Avalanche did more than bomb the Reactor pissed him off.

"Alright everyone let's meet up back at base for a mission well done," Barret said while they took off leaving Naruto and Cloud.

"Well, shall we get going?" Naruto asked before receiving a nod and then started for Seventh Heaven. Then Cloud started having a flash when he saw a burning building before he saw a man that was supposed to be dead before he followed him making Naruto do the same when he saw Cloud acting weird.

"Cloud are you ok my friend?" Naruto asked when he saw the look in his eye.

"I am not sure. I just thought I saw someone I am positive you killed," Cloud said as Naruto narrowed his eyes.

"If he did survive the fall he will soon wish he had not," Naruto said with fury flashing back to when he killed Sephiroth.

~flashback~

"SEPHIROTH!" Naruto shouted as he ran into the Nibelheim Reactor with the silver-haired man's blade at his side before charging him on the catwalk receiving a stab for his troubles but held onto the blade surprising Sephiroth before Naruto with all his might flung him against the side of the gap where he fell to his death.

~flashback end~

"The way I see it there are two possibilities 1 The Jenova Cells in you are making you hallucinate Sephiroth. Or 2 the man somehow survived death and is out there. Hell, it could even be both," Naruto said with an unnerved look on his face before he and Cloud made their way to the station.

~Loveless Street~

Once on Loveless Street Cloud and Naruto halt when they see Shinra and their attack dogs looking for Avalanche and by extension them.

"Well would you look at this more Shinra scum to kill," Naruto said with a giddy look making Cloud shake his head in pity for them but then saw a young woman.

"Naruto, before you go on another one of your famous Shinra killing sprees take a look over there," Cloud said, making Naruto look before his eyes widened.

'Aerith-chan? What is she doing here?' Naruto thought before he saw her waving about as if she was being attacked by something only she could see before he ran to her.

"AERITH-CHAN!" Naruto shouted, making Aerith look toward her boyfriend.

"NARUTO-KUN!" Aerith shouted before she gripped his sleeve in fear. Then Naruto saw what Aerith was seeing and was even more unsettled.

"HANDS OFF MY GIRL!" Naruto shouted, taking his sword out and unknowingly shifted into Rune Save and began destroying them while Aerith blushed when Naruto possessively called her his girl.

Then Cloud got to Naruto and the girl before he started seeing the same thing they did and started helping.

Unfortunately, this attracted the Shinra forces who ran up to arrest them.

"FREEZE! Drop your weapons right now," a Shinra soldier said, aiming his weapon at Naruto as he looked on with a crazy grin unnerving them while the dogs snarled.

"Aerith-chan head for home I don't think you want to see this," Naruto said while she ran for home still sad Naruto was who he was even if she understood it was Shinra that made him that way it still didn't mean she liked it but she loved him so she wouldn't stop him.

"Let's do this Cloud," Naruto said, making him nod before they charged in and started killing Shinra troops. While Naruto did it with a smile on his face Cloud only did it because they were in his way.

As well as in the wrong place at the wrong time.

~20 minutes later~

Soon after a long-fought battle though Naruto could have gotten it done if he had used Silfarion but that wouldn't be far if he was seen as a one-man army and making everyone look bad before they saw Aerith again.

"Aerith-chan, what are you still doing here?" Naruto asked in confusion before he took a step back as the woman crashed into him, hugging him.

"Please stop Naruto-kun enough. I know you miss Zack but murdering every Shinra soldier you see won't bring him back. Most of them are just like you innocent and naive to the ways of what Shinra truly is I am sure most of them don't agree with what they do. Are you honestly going to condemn them to death simply because they work for them?" Aerith asked before looking at him, making him widen his eyes seeing her crying.

"Aerith is right about this Naruto. While I might not know this Zack person I can hear a voice coming from the very sword I wield and it is in pain," Cloud said, placing his hand on his friend's shoulder.

Naruto just looked at his friend then at Aerith then at the Buster sword on his back and sighed. "Have I truly fallen so far as to lose myself to my anger and hatred? Am I truly the monster Tifa called me all those years ago?" Naruto asked unknowingly, making Cloud widen his eyes hearing the bit of info.

"No, not a monster just lost in pain. But you can still return to the man I love because I believe in you Naruto-kun," Aerith said with a smile stroking his cheek.

"Then from this day onward I Naruto Ashura Uzumaki shall ONLY kill Shinra who have it coming and leave those who can be redeemed," Naruto said before holding Ravelt in his hands with the blade pointing up as it shined brightly. While an apparition of Zack appeared with a smile on his face glad his friend and brother in all but blood had finally found himself again before vanishing for the last time.

"By the way if you reveal my middle name to anyone. I will shove Ravelt so far up your ass you won't be able to sit down for a month," Naruto said looking at Cloud who smirked knowing he wouldn't do that and wasn't going to reveal that info anyway.

Then they heard a train whistle before they looked at Aerith who smiled at them.

"By the way, can I buy a flower?" Naruto asked his girlfriend who smiled and gave one to him for free before she received a kiss, making her smile even more.

"Be careful getting home Hime," Naruto said, making Aerith smile and blush when he called her Princess before she smiled, kissed him, and walked away while wiggling her ass before she looked back in time to see Naruto and Cloud jump onto the train.

~Train~

"Do you think Naruto-kun and Cloud are alright?" Jessie asked unaware she added kun to Naruto's name while the others looked at her with a smile before there was a knock then Barret looked at the door getting his gun-arm ready. Then opened the door before Cloud jumped in with a smirk and seconds later Naruto jumped in next to Cloud with his smirk.

"Sorry to keep you waiting my friend had to find himself," Cloud said standing up while Naruto stood up before he widened his eyes for the second time that day when Jessie threw her arms around him before kissing him and hugging him.

"I am glad you are safe," Jessie said before Naruto looked at Cloud then the rest of the group who shrugged while smiling before Naruto hugged her back.

"By the way, Cloud, do you know what those shadowy things were?" Naruto asked while Cloud shrugged, never seeing them before in his life.

"No idea but I don't like the feel of them," Cloud said while the others looked at them oddly.

"What shadowy things?" Barret asked before Naruto answered.

"There were shadow creatures with hoods that looked like death itself except they looked more dangerous. Almost like they were part of some sort of fate," Naruto said in a haunted voice worrying everyone.

"Fate? As in Destiny?" Barret asked, making Naruto nod while the others looked at him with a frown.

"For every Yin, there is a Yang and these shadowy creatures were black in color," Naruto said while Cloud nodded confirming what his friend said.

"So the Planet is in more trouble than just Shinra right?" Jessie asked while Naruto once again nodded.

"So even if Shinra is defeated we will have a more powerful enemy. One that is even more deadly that's just great," Barret said with a groan making everyone either chuckle or giggle.

They then saw Naruto take a knee and clutch his back and grow worried except for Cloud knowing what had happened.

"Naruto-kun are you alright?" Jessie asked while the others smirked and realized Jessie's slip but were also concerned.

"Ya I'm ok except Shinra sicked a helicopter on Cloud and myself and I took a few bullets to the back that's all," Naruto said as everyone looked on in horror while Naruto just took his Cure Materia.

"But you are ok though right?" Biggs asked while Naruto nodded and then smiled.

"I wouldn't have been in SOLDIER if I died from a few bullet wounds now would I?" Naruto asked, smirking while Barret smirked back.

Then they made their way up the train cars before Naruto looked at Jessie who looked worried.

"What's on your mind?" Naruto asked before Jessie stopped and looked at him.

"The bomb I made even if your sword helped set the bomb. It shouldn't have produced an explosion that big," Jessie said thinking it was her fault this happened until Naruto placed his hand on her shoulder calming her down.

"That wasn't the reason it was Shinra's doing. I bet my life on that. Probably so they could spin it in a way to make Avalanche look bad. I checked the bomb myself before I launched my Crescent EXPLOSION attack so it couldn't be the cause," Naruto said, making Jessie smile at him for his reassurance.

Then Naruto moved up even further before 3 Shinra employees walked past him and he saw Barret.

"Let me guess the so-called Shinra creed?" Naruto asked while Barret nodded, making him sigh.

"Ah, blind loyalty. I suppose there is no helping that," Naruto said, making him nod before he looked at Naruto and relaxed for a change.

"I am surprised you didn't kill them. You hate Shinra more than I do so what changed?" Barret asked while Naruto sat down across from him.

"I made a promise I would no longer kill every Shinra Soldier I see and let myself be consumed with anger and hatred," Naruto said thinking about Aerith and how she cried for him."After all, if I keep on this path I am no better than they are and that is unacceptable," Naruto finished while Barret looked at him in respect.

"It takes a lot for a man to admit he was wrong. But it takes an even bigger man to hold himself back to save the people he loves from the pain of watching him do something he will regret," Barret said while Naruto agreed.

Naruto then saw Jessie again looking at a monitor and walked up to her where she began to explain Midgar to him which he already knew but listened to anyway.

"Here we have a wireframe model of the great city of Midgar complete with massive steel plates suspended 300 meters above ground level atop which stands a shining beacon of civilization. The whole system is sustained by the Mako Reactors which feed the relentless appetites of the public," Jessie explained before the speakers came to life saying the train would be passing through an ID checkpoint making Naruto nervous.

"Shit I sure hope the fake ID I created holds up," Naruto said and surprised Jessie that Naruto already thought to do that before coming to help. When the train came up on the ID scan as they were scanned which kind of worried Naruto but once it passed and there there was no alarm he breathed a sigh of relief.

"I honestly didn't think my fake ID would pass," Naruto said before Jessie patted his shoulder.

"May I check it for you?" Jessie asked before Naruto showed her the fake.

Age: 22

HomeTown: Midgar

"Wow that's pretty clever," was all Jessie said.

"Thanks believe it or not but that age is real. I didn't want to take the chance that they would get too suspicious and that I do not need," Naruto said making her nod before he smirked then turned to Barret again.

"People down there fight to survive where the plate above is one big pizza. Shinra sucks up Mako, the Soil turns to dust, The air fills with smog and the flowers die.

"Sadly not everyone has a choice but to survive under the plate," Naruto said while Barret nodded before Naruto looked outside the fast-moving train.

"There isn't any stopping this train we are on. It can only go one way," Naruto said, missing Barret's nod as they continued their way to the next stop.

Sector 8 Station and then finally Seventh Heaven and a long overdue talk which Naruto hoped went smooth.

Well, there you have it folks chapter 2.

Naruto and company make their way to the Sector 8 Station after fighting Shinra troops.

Meeting up with Aerith again although this was Cloud's first time. The strange hooded ghosts.

Naruto makes a promise to not kill every Shinra soldier that he sees since in a way they are following orders and have no idea of what is honestly going on and ONLY kill them when they can't be redeemed.
