Flora's POV again cause I love her personality and she gets to save Urbosa.
I should've expected the storm to start the second we entered the Tundra Plateau. But thank Hylia, I didn't see any lightning so I could use my sword without the threat of being hit by 300 volts of electricity.
The main enemy was electric lizolfos.
I got my sword shocked out of my hand more times then I care to admit.
I just followed whatever was yelled at me from across the battlefield and kicked all the ass I came across. Fuck you lizolfos!
At one point, I was told to go the edge of the plateau closest to Divine Beast Vah Naboris. And that's why I'm currently fighting a lynel that somehow got imbued with the power of electricity.
Who the fuck thought that was a good idea?!
I wanted to just run off the cliff and hope I land on Naboris but I don't know if I can leave Cal to fight this thing. Even though I really wanted to save Urbosa.
Finally, I managed to cut off the Lynel's head. Black blood flooded everywhere.
So that's why all the enemies are so tough and don't wanta die.
The little guardian (oh, I want to kick it so bad as revenge) beat me to the edge and gave a cheerful little tune.
A ramp unfolded itself from the camel's chest. It rose to meet us.
"The little one's making a path so all of us can go!" Desi said.
I heard Twilight trying to make a plan so half of us can go so the other half will be ready in case the half going gets too injured to fight or something. But I wasn't listening.
In fact, the second the ramp slid into place at my feet, I raced down it like it was my life that was in danger.
When I ran in, Thunderblight Ganon, the one who almost killed Wild was zipping around the inside of the Divine Beast. Wild never mentioned the fact that he was super charged with electricity like the lynel.
I saw Urbosa a few feet away. Her hand was resting on someone's shoulder. When the two Gerudo turned to me I saw that the second Gerudo was… Riju? And is that Patrica?
"Now look who's here to help." Urbosa nodded, even though I could tell she looked confused.
But I didn't spare it any thought and went straight to fighting the beast that stole Urbosa from me.
I caught the scimitar with my sword. The power behind the guardian blade made me whine slightly and adjust my footing.
I kept the beast's attention caught on my sword as I stealthily pulled out my dagger. The Gerudo saw the flash of the blade and let me dig it into the Blight's abdomen.
It screeched as I tore the dagger out. Malice gushed out as I pushed it away with my sword to try and avoid the deadly substance.
A few drops still landed on me, causing me to hiss. But overall, it didn't hurt anymore after being surrounded by the stuff for a century.
"What the fuck?!" I shouted as the beast multiplied itself.
"Focus on the one that's not blue!" Riju suggested, beating back a blue copy with the knife I gave her for her thirteenth birthday.
I had her initials and the Gerudo crest engraved on the hilt :)
"They'll probably vanish once we deal with the original!"
I kicked one away and turned around to stab Thunderblight in the back.
It dodged at the last second, causing me to curse profoundly as I stumbled forward. I was knocked on my stomach.
I rolled to the side as a scimitar crashed down where I had been mere seconds before. It submerged itself partly into the ground.
I took that time to stab the clone, causing it to screech and melt into malice. It bubbled and gurgled threateningly before dissipating completely.
I turned back around. Malice dropped from my blade.
"One down, two to go." I whispered. I charged and defended Riju from getting stabbed in the back.
Urbosa caught the copy I threw on the tip of her scimitar. The second copy followed the first one and melted before disappearing.
The two Gerudo and I turned to face the final beast. Thunderblight Ganon. The thing that took Urbosa from me.
I glared at it like it had personally offended me.
Three women armed to the teeth vs one super-powered monster. Who'll win?
Turns out, it's a give in. We beat Thunderblight Ganon and I felt guilty pleasure in watching it melt into Malice. Lightning flickered across the substance before blinking out.
I slashed my sword angrily. Malice flew off into the corners of the Divine Beast. The droplets hissed as they landed, gouging small canyons out of the rock that made up the machine.
I used my cloth (made Malice proof after my old one burned when I tried to clean my sword after clearing out a Guardian) to wipe the rest of the goop off my blade.
I stuffed the cloth back into my pocket. Riju had a Malice-proof cloth of her own, which she then gave to Urbosa.
I let my sword sink listlessly in front of my legs as I leaned snack on my heels. I glared at the Malice pool.
"That's what you get, bitch." I hissed, toeing the substance. The black crust wasn't as corrosive as the pink and purple mass.
"Who are you?"
I turned around to face Urbosa. I blew away a lock of sweaty blonde and blue hair that had fallen into my face.
Urbosa had a hand on Riju's shoulder as she glared at me. One hundred years ago, I would've cowered in fear at the Gerudo Champion's glare. But now, I just stared back calmly, my gaze unwavering.
"Really?" I asked. "I help you take down a powerful enemy that most likely would've killed you and suddenly you're turning on me? That's fucked up man."
Riju giggled as Urbosa looked, scandalized, between Riju and I.
"Anyway," I turned and started walking toward the exit of the Divine Beast. I paused and looked over my shoulder. "If you're done trying to make a enemy out of an ally, then I suggest we get moving. Revali and—if I'm correct—Teba need our help."
"Yeah!" Riju said, marching up to me. "Let's go!"
She gave her signature grin and I laughed. "Let's go!"
I charged out of the Divine Beast. The footsteps of the two Gerudo echoed under the heavy downpour.
"Flora!" Twilight glared at me. "What did I say—"
I rolled my eyes. "Well, it's done now and Urbosa and Riju are safe and I would like to save a salty bird and a Rito who adopted Wild and I."'
Twilight glared at me, but there was no real fire behind it. But finally, he sighed. "Alright. Let's go to Vah Medoh."
"Yes!" I clapped the Rancher on the back. "I knew I could convince you! Time to fight a second super-powered beast made of Malice and has a branch of Ganon's own power!"
I grabbed Twilight and started dragging him along as I could tell he was having second thoughts. Four and Wind followed behind us, trying not to laugh at Twi's expression.
