What if she accepted him as her husband ? Would they love one another, or would they just be husband and wife? It was a fortune to be married to a woman one loves, but as a clan leader, he was ready to forget about all of that.
Would she love him as much as she loved her dead husband, and would he love her like that?
Feeling annoyed as he was recalling all his duties and things getting worse with the war just starting, he felt that he needed to release his anger on Chizuru now. She has made things harder for him.
He opened his eyes and looked at her again. She was just looking at the road with a blank expression. She was completely harmless. She didn't even fight him aside from some arguments. She didn't want to annoy him in any way. He had taken her by force, and she was used to her human husband. She didn't even know that she was an oni. It was natural for her to be sad and reject him. She was not at fault for any of the hardships he faced and still had to face. She was just a victim in the whole thing that happened. If he hurts her now to release his anger, it is not a punishment for what she has done. It's just that she was the victim here and now.
He continued looking at her. She was like a cow that was about to be hit by the owner, who was mad because she was not giving enough milk.
He could feel that she most likely felt his gaze on her and felt the danger in his eyes because it seemed like she had stiffened.
He could force himself on her or bring her pain, but he was not the type to do these sorts of things. He pulled her by the hair when she kissed her husband for the last time, and when he thought of that moment, he felt a little sad for hurting Chizuru like that, but that was different. Her husband was dead now, and he had finally taken her. He just didn't feel it was the right choice to physically hurt her now. This was not a husband and wife way of life. He was not a man to hurt women like that. He already feels a little sad for Chizuru when he looks at her. Like an adult looking at a child that he had beaten earlier. The adult now feels guilty even though he had to do that to teach his child a lesson.
Looking at her more, he sensed her sadness. He didn't need to do anything to her to release his anger. He could already see how pained she was. She is most likely dwelling on a lot of thoughts.
Clearing his mind, he approached her. He sat closer to her until his body made contact with her side and put his hands on her shoulders. She tensed and gasped faintly, and he reached his hand to the curtain to close it for more privacy.
He massaged her shoulders to help her relax, and he told her that she needed not to worry about anything. He won't do something she doesn't want, and she doesn't have to do anything that she is not willing to do. He told her that there's no hurry for anything. He kept massaging her shoulders to comfort her and told her that with him she'll always feel safe, she'll need nothing for the rest of her life, nothing and none can threaten her and her children will all live the highest quality of life. He told her there would be not even one moment that she felt sad or worried about her children as she and her children would need nothing. He told her that she would live like war doesn't exist. She will eventually accept him as her husband and show him every part of her soul in his arms.
He lowered one of his hands from her shoulder along her arm to her hand as he held her hand and wrapped his other arm around her and sat his hand on her face caressing her cheek as he brought his face closer to hers so now she felt his breath against her skin.
Chizuru was not stiffened anymore, but she was not willing to return the gestures. Kazama could sense that her body was now more relaxed and warmer.
Now that he felt her more relaxed he reminded her that she accepted to be his wife as he massaged her hand and told her that she is not obligated to do anything that she doesn't want to do and that now he was only giving her an offer to spend some relaxing time.
Finally, he turned her face toward his and looked in her eyes. She was worried. She didn't want to be with him. As he brought his lips closer to hers, she tried to move her head, but he held her a little firmly, a reminder that she accepted to be his wife.
He told her they'll go as slowly as she needed before he pressed his lips against hers.
Her lips were dry, he noticed. That's mostly because she has not been eating well. His own lips were soft, she noticed. She knew that soon or late, this was going to happen, and she was not going to show weakness.
She started thinking again if he had kept his promise and left Hajime alive or not. She was going to push him and tell him to tell her the truth, but she had a feeling of despair and somber. Kazama told her several times that Hajime was dead for her. So maybe even if he didn't kill him but he knew that Hajime was dead later.
Tears welling up in her eyes, she started kissing back. She held his hand that was holding hers and brought her other hand to his face. Now they were making out.
Pleased with her act, Kazama paused, held her head with both hands, and kissed her forehead deeply. He looked in her eyes, wiped her tears and kissed both her sad eyes and reassured her that with him she'll find comfort and she'll need nothing for the rest of her life. Then he resumed kissing her mouth and making out with her.
Chizuru ran her hands along his neck, shoulders and arms, feeling his body through his clothes. Kazama pulled her to himself and put her on his lap. Now, they had better physical contact. He wrapped his arms around her and resumed kissing again as he ran his fingers through her hair.
Chizuru, seeking a release of all the negative feelings pent up in her, kissed him a little forcefully once between every few kisses. Kazama only felt more pleased with that, and this way their kisses were becoming deeper but as he said he kept going slow and didn't run his hands down her body, instead he kept them on her upper back, arms, shoulders and neck.
He felt an urge to lie down with her, but the carriage was not fit for that, so he just held her tighter against himself.
