Author's Headnote: From this point onward, the events of Volume 1 will take place. I will not go over events that would remain (mostly) unchanged. Such as Initiation or Jaune vomiting on the Bullhead, we've been there, done that. Expect the POV to toggle between Akechi and Ruby because of this. However, don't expect Ruby's huntress career to be the same as the one from canon. The chair of time has moved and forces of darkness WILL take advantage of that. You can thank Akechi for that, really.

Mid-Quality Hotel in Vale, August 14, Morning, Hotel Room

The beds are much more comfortable in the real world than in the Metaverse. Guess the public's cognitive thoughts on mattresses in hotels aren't really that great. Although, he should save up enough money to get a place of residence. He checks his scroll to see the news.

The news channel's news anchor has purple hair. it is on the Vale News Network, or VNN, Vale's nationally sponsored news network. Although at times the news is an unreliable source, it tends to pick up the more eventful scenes that occur. He may as well see what VNN has to say.

"Hello, I'm Lisa Lavender, and this is VNN." the news anchor spoke.

"There was an eventful chain of events last night. The Vale police force had arrested teenage delinquent Yang Xiao Long." an image of Yang's mugshot can be seen. Although her eyes were red in the second shot, must be a camera mistake.

"A minor entering a nightclub illegally would be considered a misdemeanor on its own. However, that was not the only offense enacted that night. According to official police records and Yang Xiao Long's criminal record, she has committed all the following within this one night:

Entering a nightclub underage, Breaking and entering, Multiple records of Assault, multiple attempts at first degree murder, multiple attempts at second degree murder, multiple attempts at assault, sexual harassment, sexual assault, destruction of private property, trespassing on private property, unlicensed coercion, unauthorized vigilantism, attempted arson, attempted escape from custody, assaulting an officer of the law, attempted assault of an officer of the law, attempted first degree murder of an officer of the law, attempted second degree murder of an officer of the law, first degree murder, murder of an officer of the law, and illegal parking.

I'm sorry, but attempted second degree murder?"

"That's an actual criminal charge by the way." someone in the back said.

"Is it now? Huh." the news anchor said.

"Back on topic. I'm don't know much about the legal system in our kingdom, but I do know is that Yang Xiao Long is a minor at seventeen. Normally when a minor commits a misdemeanor, they'd do community service (at least in Vale). But these charges consist of many felonies. Murder is one of those charges too. I would highly doubt Yang Xiao Long would be a free woman any time in her youth. Which is why I got with us a legal consultant and history expert with us on the show: Bartholemew Oobleck."

"Thank you, Lisa Lavender, for this. I am Bartholemew Oobleck: history professor at Beacon Academy, renowned huntsman, and state prosecutor for the kingdom of Vale." Bartholemew Oobleck said, announcing himself... even though that part of the information is clearly on the caption.

"Sir, that info is going to be on the caption. Just tell them what will happen to her."the guy in the back said.

"Right." Bartholemew Oobleck said. "Quite unfortunate to see a young woman with this lifestyle. I met a girl who acted just like that in my time at Beacon. However, she was nowhere near this chaotic as young Ms. Xiao Long. Last I heard, she joined a group of nomads in Mistral. (The woman from my youth, not Ms. Xiao Long.) Given these charges, it would add up to a life sentence in prison, a minimum of 56 years, a fine of at least 83,000 Lien, and points off her motorcycle license. If she were a student at Beacon Academy or a Huntress, she would have simply been sentenced to banishment from the kingdom of Vale."

"I heard a 'would'." Lisa commented.

"And right you are. Although she did have points on her license taken off, and her application to Beacon Academy revoked. Miss Xiao Long instead suddenly vanished from police custody sometime this morning, with her crimes pardoned by the police force. Her current whereabouts are a mystery to me, I'm afraid."

"Wouldn't be the first time a criminal has gotten away with their crimes in Vale it seems."

"I'm afraid so. But the optimist in me says that Ms. Xiao Long is using this stroke of fate to turn over a new leaf. Now, back to you, Lisa Lavender. If you excuse me, I have to adjust my schedule. It seems I am no longer prosecuting for a trial anymore." Bartholemew Oobleck said, leaving.

"Thank you, Bartholomew Oobleck. Now we turn to the other event that happened last night. An anonymous tip from a Private Investigator has given insight to a dust robbery last night. Despite this, the police on route to the dust shop stopped and arrested the aforementioned delinquent. The dust shop was robbed by none other than Roman Torchwick with the help of some masked goons. The goons were stopped by a young girl who nearly lost her life to one of Roman Torchwick's elite thugs." Lisa announced. "We now cut to the interview with the girl at hand to describe us the report."

The footage cuts to the girl, obviously Ruby with her face pixeled out.

"Hi, my name is [BLEEP]. I was at the dust shop last night browsing for some magazines. Some goons were taking only the dust from the shop, not the money whilst I was reading. Another group was trying to get my attention. They told me to take off my headphones and put my hands in the air, I asked if they were robbing me. They said yes, so I tried to stop them from robbing the store." Ruby said, with her voice filtered.

"That's quite brave for a young girl." Lisa Lavender said, during the interview.

"Thank you! Anyways, the one leading the goons, at the time I didn't know who he was. He was going to say something witty and throw a live dust crystal at me, but he tripped over a plastic chair and the crystal blew up in his face. I laughed for a bit and then rushed to catch him, only to be stopped by some girl called: 'Neo'. Her fighting me lead to the leader to escape, I couldn't even land a hit on her though. It's like she's intangible to my scythe. I couldn't hand a hit on her whilst she knocked me down and when I saw that blade, I closed my eyes... I didn't expect my life to be saved, though. I am forever grateful for that."

It cuts back to the news anchor at the station.

"Roman Torchwick remains at large and all of Vale and it's dust is at the mercy of this master thief. No huntsman is able to track him down and have him arrested." Lisa Lavender said. "And onto a more political topic. A faunas rights protest turns violent due to the White Fang's interference. The White Fang turned the protest into the riot, which caused 3 million Lien worth of property damage. The members of the White Fang were not identified and their connection to the riot was not revealed until after the riot was put down. There were no deaths among the rioters. I am Lisa Lavender, and this is VNN."

The video then ended. The part about the faunas was cut short, likely not to stir the conflict too much. And even when the police someone, they for some reason release her and let her disappear along with removing her criminal charges. The police in Vale are beyond useless if this is how they're doing their job.

Anyways, Akechi should get ready for finding where the relic is... and possibly search for the Fall Maiden or an ally. He's gonna have his hands full today searching for the relic. He may as well get ready to head out.

Character Change: Goro Akechi - Ruby Rose

Beacon Academy, August 14, Late Morning, Beacon Academy

Inhale... Exhale... she did it, she made it to Beacon. Although her sister is not with her, but that's fine. She can adapt to this school without her sister being here. She's a bit nervous, given her near-death experience... yet excited because she's achieving her dream. There are also so much cool weapons, she's having a hard time containing herself.

Beacon's courtyard is much in the way of quality. Natural stone flooring, decorated greenery, a fountain with a statue of Ozymandias I, the first king of Vale on it. It is connected to the main building, along with the dormitories, and the CCT along other structures of the academy. It's much a sight to behold. She's going to make some new friends, go on some adventures, fight evil. All that classic huntsman stuff. She's here to make the world better, one swing of the scythe at a time. And no near-death experience is going to change that. But it has taught her one thing, she shouldn't charge in without thinking. She should be careful, analyze the place around her.

She shouldn't really stay around in one place either, she may as well sit down on the nearby bench no one is sitting at. Just to get herself used to the environment without getting in someone's way. Although she is about to witness something quite peculiar. She sees a boy in armor... armor? Huntsmen have armor, so armor wouldn't be that much helpful... not sure why he'd wear it... wait a second, he was the one who vomited on the bullhead. Anyways, vomit boy was just about to bump into some rich girl in white and her luggage, the collision caused the luggage bounce out everywhere and for the two of them to land on the ground. The girl in white got up and looked at the blonde boy with an angry look.

"Watch where you're going, you creep!" the girl yelled.

"Well excuse me, princess! I didn't mean to bump into you." the boy retorted.

"Princess? I am not a princess!"

Shame. Ruby would have loved to marry a princess. But it seems she may not live out that fantasy of hers after all. It was one of her unrealistic ones anyway, no princess would find Ruby interesting.

"You sure act like one." the boy countered.

"For your information, I am a highly important person. I have a legacy to uphold." the girl retorted.

"Well, I haven't heard of you."

"Did you live in some backwater town in the middle of nowhere?"

"Ya actually."

"That just raises more questions!"

"Like what?"

"You've heard of the Schnee Dust Company?"

"No."

"How?"

"I just never heard of it."

The girl then face-palmed herself again. "You! On the bench! Tell him who I am!" the girl said, pointing toward Ruby.

"Eh... sorry, I just don't really pay attention to politics." Ruby said. To be fair, Ruby has no idea who she is.

The girl once again face palmed herself.

"Forget it, I don't have time to deal with you troglodytes." the girl said, picking up her luggage, only for one of the vials to blow up in her face, and making a mess. The girl then rushed to gather around to move her stuff with an embarrassed look in her face.

That girl is very much a disaster. But she must be a formidable fighter if she were accepted here. Albeit a very clumsy one. And one who fights in heels. Hopefully she's not gonna be paired up with her, disaster is only going to happen to Ruby if that's the case.

Ruby had gotten up from the bench. She then proceeded to search for where she's supposed to go. She has no idea where she is. As an unexpected surprise, she runs into Blake. The two girls then locked eyes like the time they were at the fortune teller when she first met Goro Akechi.

"Ruby?" Blake asked.

"Oh, hi Blake. Are you a student here, too?" Ruby asked.

"Oh ya. I got accepted a couple days back. How did you get in?"

"I was handpicked by the headmaster."

"Were you, now?"

"Yep. I'm just glad someone I know is here, even if it's someone I barely met."

"Oh ya... speaking of... where's your sister?"

Ruby remained silent...

"Oh... I'm sorry..." Blake said, solemnly.

"She's not dead. She was just arrested, got her application from Beacon revoked, and then my dad said she's no longer welcome at home." Ruby stated.

"Oh, what did she do?"

"Broke a lot of laws, and then got punished for it. I haven't watched the news, so as far as I'm concerned... I won't be seeing her again." Ruby said, proceeding to break into tears. Losing one family member in her life was enough... but losing two...

"You don't have to tell me everything." Blake said in worry.

"Thank you..." Ruby said, smiling. "Oh, by the way. Where are we supposed to go?"

"The Auditorium."

"Thank you."

The two of them went to walk toward the auditorium. Though, Ruby was wondering what Blake was doing that required her not to go to the auditorium as soon as possible. If she was snooping around where she isn't supposed to go... Of course, what is Ruby thinking? Blake is totally a trustworthy person. Blake would totally not do something behind someone's back.

On their way, they managed to bump into a man in a black suit. The man has blonde hair and blue eyes, and the appearance of a model.

"Forgive me, I was just on my way to my office." the man said.

"This is a school." Blake said.

"Then you should know that I consider my classroom an office."

"Well, we're just on our way to the auditorium." Ruby said.

The man looks at Ruby. "You. You seem different from the other students here." the man said.

"Er... thanks?"

"It was just an observation. I'll be watching over your career like a teacher watches their student." the man said ominously. He then went into the main building.

"That... just... happened." Blake said.

"Ya, it was kind of weird." Ruby stated.

Monday, August 14, 2175 - Tuesday, August 15, 2175

Beacon Academy, August 15, Morning, Cafeteria

It's official, Ruby's been at Beacon for twenty-four hours... but she can't help but feel like she's feeling odd. She kept having this recurring dream ever since she met Goro Akechi. A dream about a blue butterfly. The dream told Ruby that she is spiritually preventing herself from unlocking her potential. Her potential for what? Regardless, she doesn't have much time to think about the recurring dream. For now, she should focus on eating.

She was eating some breakfast. Strawberry waffles. Strawberries are one of her favorite foods. Ruby was eating her breakfast by her lonesome. Mostly because Blake already ate by the time Ruby started eating. Supposedly, Blake's an early riser. She can see others going around. The boy from yesterday is also eating alone. Given his choice of pajamas, that's kind of a given. A Jack Frost onesie? Really?

The girl in white is eating with another girl. A girl with red hair and green eyes, also wearing armor leaving an open window for her breasts. Impractical, but Ruby doesn't mind the view. There is also a guy and a girl sitting next to each other. The aura they give off is rather ambiguous, they're either best friends or dating, no middle ground. Given the rumor that there's going to be teams assigned. Chances are she's going to get paired up with them. She could sit next to either one of them. Given the only person in her class she knows is Blake. And given she believes the teams are in groups of 4. that'd just be 2 people. Who would the other two be? Assuming Blake would be on the team, of course.

Well... that would just be left to chance. She wouldn't know who she'd get assigned to, after all.

Emerald Forest, August 15, Late Morning, Deep Forests A

So... initiation was the following. She was launched off a cliff (expected), and the first person she'd make eye contact in the forest would be her partner for the next four years. Pretty simple enough. Problem is, she doesn't know anyone but Blake. And even then, she does have trouble making friends. The amount of friends Ruby made in Signal can be counted with one hand. Compared to someone she knew who befriended half of the school. Ruby doesn't want to bother even thinking of her name, the fact that Ruby saw her covered in blood... well, that's enough of that. Even thinking of blood makes Ruby queasy.

Ruby was running through the forest, trying not to make a noise, and suppressing her negative emotions... she needs to stay positive... she has to stay positive to avoid the grimm getting to her. After a while, she came across a tree, and then she looks down to see a dead body of a fellow student. They didn't even have his aura unlocked, from the looks of it. But just by looking at it makes her nauseous. Ruby then proceeded to throw up in a nearby bush from the sight of a dead body. Her vomiting has ejected her breakfast from her body, she won't feel hungry for a while... but malnutrition will make fighting harder.

"Excuse me, but do I hear vomiting?" a feminine voice asked.

Ruby turned around to see the red-headed green eyed armored girl from earlier. Ruby's face turned red from the embarrassment of someone seeing her vomit. And why did it have to be her? Stupid sexy classmate.

"Oh... do we have to get you back?" the girl asked.

"No... I just saw a dead body, that's all... that kind of stuff always makes me nauseous." Ruby said.

"Dead body? Oh dear."

"See? Look." Ruby said, pointing at the dead body.

"Oh dear, indeed." the girl said.

"Stuff like this makes my stomach turn."

"I'm sorry to hear that."

"Don't be, it's not your fault. I'm just queasy at the sight of blood and death."

"Anyways... we've made eye contact, have we not?"

"I suppose that makes us partners. I'm Ruby Rose, what's your name?"

Character Change: Ruby Rose - Goro Akechi

Vale Catacombs, August 15, Late Morning, Outer Catacombs

Day 2 of Akechi's search for the Relic's hiding spot. It was nowhere in uptown or in the docks nor the contents of the boats. Which just leaves the catacombs. The catacombs are dark, which is why Akechi is using his scroll as a light. Given that it's transparent on both sides of the scroll, he can use it as a lamp to help him light his way through the dark catacombs.

The catacombs are what one would expect to see from ancient catacombs. The floors are made of stone, and is surrounded by various urns, coffins, and corpses. The smell is also present. There are some bats here, but they're harmless. Regardless, Akechi continued to press forward.

He continues to press forward in the catacombs. He stumbles upon a trap. He grabs the card from the gacha and proceeds to summon the spirit. The spirit is surrounded in a red miasma and is rather quiet. But otherwise perfectly resembles his appearance on the card to a tee.

"Walk into the trap." Akechi ordered.

The spirit nodded and walked into the trap. The trap is triggered, which ends up killing the spirit and disarming the trap in the process. The card is still on Akechi's person, so he can easily summon the spirit again if he so pleases.

Akechi continued to press forward. If he needed to fight, he can simply use the beam sword he has to fight. Unlike in the metaverse, the sword he's gotten seems like the real deal and everything.

Even then, if there are any humans (or faunas) down here other than himself, he can make them go berserk and have them kill each other without him having to worry. He continues to venture down these ruins.

Vale Catacombs, August 15, Late Morning, Mid-Catacombs

This part seems different, it's more tunnel-like. This is quite peculiar, most likely the entrance in the catacombs was likely a farce to this. There are also dungeons in this part of the catacombs. Guess during this world's medieval era, this place was likely used to make unwanted members of high society disappear.

And unlike the outer catacombs, lighting does seem to be present. Indicating sign of human life. Speaking of, he sees some skull-like robots and a couple of human soldiers approach Akechi.

"Hold it, kid. What are you doing in a place like this?" the soldier asked.

"The same could be said for you. What interest would the Valean military have in some dusty old catacombs?" Akechi asked.

"That's classified, it is information only held by the headmaster of Beacon Academy and the Commander in Chief."

"And who are they, exactly?"

"That would be public knowledge."

"If that's the case, you wouldn't have any trouble telling me... or have you forgotten?"

"Henry Ozpin and Qrow Branwen."

"Crow Branwen?"

"No, Qrow Branwen. Spelt with a Q."

"Why?"

"I don't know."

"And furthermore, do you know what you're doing here."

"We're guarding something."

"Do you know what it is?"

"That's classified, it is information only held by the headmaster of Beacon Academy and the Commander in Chief."

"So, you don't know what you're guarding?"

"That's classified."

"You just said only two people know!"

The soldier remained silent. "Intruder at the catacombs, I repeat. Intruder at the catacombs, target is hostile!" the soldier said.

The soldier resorted to violence because he lost an argument. More soldiers appear, and it looks like Akechi is surrounded. But he smirked as he snapped his fingers and half of the soldiers entered a berserk state, attacking the non-berserk soldiers and the robots. The chaos would make it much easier for him. He could partake in the violence himself, but it's better to confuse the forensic experts by making it look like they attacked each other. So, instead. Akechi snuck through unopposed.

Continuing down the path. He does see the place is rather guarded. He really can't go through the metaverse because chances are this place doesn't exist in the collective cognition of people. So, he does not want to enter through the metaverse and then fall down to some weird cognitive bizzarro world. Not as long as he's in the catacombs. Which means he'll have to rely on his base strength and his power to berserk others.

But this confirms his suspicion that something is in fact, here. Akechi continues to venture into the catacombs to find whatever that may be. The security from here onward is robotic. Akechi may have a hard time sneaking past that. Given the open halls and little hiding places, plus the robots. What does he do? Well, he'll just simply overload them with a paradox.

Inevitably, the robotic security does catch him.

"Intruder, identify yourself." the robotic security stated.

"I am telling you a lie." Akechi stated.

"If you are lying, then you're telling the truth... then you would be lying about lying... which would make it a lie. But then you would be telling the truth about lying... error." the robot said, before shutting down.

The rest of the robots shut down from the paradox. Akechi can press forward.

Vale Catacombs, August 15, Late Morning, Inner Sanctum

It seems Akechi has found it. A large door in a medium sized room with nothing but the aforementioned door, the path back to the catacombs, and an old elevator. The door is quite decorative, and has a unique pattern on them. Said pattern is in a regal pattern colored in a golden hue. The rest of the door is white, though. The doors themselves have no hinges, knobs, or anything. And trying to cut it open leaves to no effect. This can only mean the Relic of Choice is behind this door.

Objective Changed: Find and Destroy the Relic of Choice - Destroy the Relic of Choice

New Objective: Open the Relic Door

Of course, he can't do anything but turn back. And chances are the other side of that elevator is likely a military base or something, so he has no choice to turn tail and head back. As there is nothing for him here for now. Now that he located Vale's Relic. Chances are the military is going to be on high alert looking for the infiltrator among their ranks, seeing the bloodshed that happened. Fortunately, there was no cameras in the catacombs...

Whilst on his way, he did pick the pockets of the dead soldiers and grabbed around half of their money. He is doing this with his gloves on, of course. Each of them was carrying around 1,000 Lien. And there were 20 soldiers. So that would make 10,000 Lien (he grabbed exactly 500 Lien from each).

Regardless, Akechi had taken his leave from this place for now.

City of Vale, August 15, Evening, Downtown

With the 10,000 Lien he acquired. He managed to buy some things. First off, he is renting a cheap apartment in downtown. Second off, he had bought some new clothes from a second-hand thrift store. Some new gloves, a new pair of shoes, some khakis and a long sleeve button shirt with a suit jacket that matches the same color as the khakis. This costed him 8,732 Lien. Because he bought multiple variants of the pants, shirt, and jacket.

The rent is paid monthly, so he shouldn't have to worry until September.

But now that he's out of the earth clothes, he no longer looks like a dirty bum that smells like rotten sea salt. Those clothes were getting filthy anyway, and would have to get washed. Likewise, he has cleansed himself because going around in the same clothes for over a week tends to drag on one's personal hygiene.

Regardless, Akechi is wandering around the downtown, getting the feel of the place since he is going to stay here for a while. Well, until he can get some more money and a better place. The place he's staying in is only temporary. Monthly rent is better than paying daily, in his opinion. Even if the quality is worse.

Though, suddenly Belladonna appears before him with a stern look on her face. It's likely she has information. However, it looks like he'll have to cough up the information on the metanav.

"In the main building of beacon academy, there is an elevator that leads to the office of the headmaster. But it also leads to a vault underground. I couldn't see further into it because I didn't want to spend too much time away from the other students." Blake said.

"A vault? Did it happen to have a large door with golden decals on it?" Akechi asked.

"Yeah, why?"

"Then I suspect that door is a decoy."

"A decoy?"

"I found the real one earlier today. I won't tell you where it is, since that isn't part of the deal."

"Fair, now tell me what's with this app."

"It's the metaverse navigator app."

"The... wha? You're just making this up."

Akechi showed his scroll. "I have one, too." he stated.

"Alright, what does it do?"

"You know that dream where you were navigating a volcano lair?"

"How did you know abou-… it wasn't a dream."

"In truth, I had to get you out of there. I could have killed you, but for some reason I didn't."

"Did you just say that you considered killing me there?"

"Yes. But you can't exactly report conspiracy of murder when there's no evidence outside of some psychopath's head."

"So... how do you use the thing?"

"You press the icon, it opens up. There are two options when you start: 'Mementos' and 'Search'. Mementos takes you to the metaverse where you'll see a pathway to the collective unconsciousness through any underground entryway. For search, you need to enter a person's name, a location, and a distortion. And it has to be a specific combination."

"So... I have no idea what you just said."

"Here, I'll show you." Akechi says, activating the app on his scroll.

"Welcome to the Metanav, where would you like to go?" The Metanav spoke.

"Search." Akechi said.

"Please enter Candidate."

"Go ahead, say a name that comes to your mind."

Blake paused for a moment... "Adam Tauras." Blake said.

"Candidate Found."

"How fortunate of you, you got it right on the first try." Akechi said.

"So... what does this mean?" Blake asked.

"It means the person whose name you spoke has desires distorted and twisted from their original ones. Their heart is clouded and altered so drastically that it affects their very personality."

"So... location and distortion."

"The location is where the main focus of their distorted desires are being held. The distortion is what the person sees that location as figuratively."

"Riight, I'll believe it when I see it."

"Now go ahead, say some things that come to mind."

"Forever Fall?" Blake began to guess.

"Not Found."

"Campsite?"

"Not Found."

"Kuo Kuana?"

"Not Found."

"The White Fang Headquarters in Mistral?"

"Location Found."

"Cancel." Akechi said.

"Search Canceled."

"Why did you do that?" Blake asked.

"Because I don't feel like travelling to Mistral just for a demonstration." Akechi said. "the metanav only takes you to the metaverse, not teleports you across spacetime." Akechi said.

"So... you'd still have to physically go there."

"Correct."

"Look, I'm just going to call it a day. You may sound crazy, but I believe you. At the very least you didn't bring up something stupid like talking animals turning into cars."

"I'll tell you more once you give me more information."

"I'll commit to this little deal we have, here."

Much like with Rose, Akechi can feel a faint bond forming between the two of them. A red butterfly can be seen flying across Akechi's eyes.

"Justice is the act of making the right decision, whether it be personal or public. This girl pursues her own justice." Astaphaios' voice said.

Social Link Unlocked: Justice (Blake)

Rank 1 Bonus: Informant Light (Provides information on conspiracies revolving the huntsmen)

Author's Footnote: First off, some things.

That dead student was not Jaune. It originally was going to be, but then I decided at the last minute there may be some use for the Jaune of this world in the story.

Although the Relic of Choice may not actually be in some underground catacombs in Vale. Until the canonical location is revealed, catacombs it is. And I know accessing the Relic of Choice's location early may not be a good idea, but it's not like Akechi can do anything there without the Fall Maiden, be it Cinder, Amber, or someone else entirely.

Don't worry, Yang's not in Vale... for now.

As for Qrow being in charge of Vale's entire military... it was either him, Taiyang, or an OC.

And just to clear things up, the blonde man Ruby and Blake bumped into back at Beacon is NOT Astaphaios. Astaphaios wears a WHITE suit. The man the two girls met wears a BLACK suit. Who is he? The math teacher of course, every dignified structure of academia needs a math teacher.

Team names will be revealed next chapter. As a disclaimer, Cardin and the rest of CRDL will NOT be appearing in this fanfiction. It will be easier to determine given I get free reign of an unconfirmed character. Character X I'll call them. Character X will simply just take Yang's original role.

Is the current poll not a good one? It's on my profile page. I prepared a second poll in the event I get enough people to vote 'yes' on the first poll. With all of that out of the way, feel free to wait for the next chapter.
