It was the beginning of Christmas vacation and Brennan, Christine, Hank and Parker were at the Hockey rink waiting for Booth's game to start. The Zamboni was smoothing the ice.

"I wonder how many teeth are in that thing…."

"Parker…"

"How do people's teeth get in there Parker?"

"Hokey players get their teeth knocked out a lot playing hockey and they don't have time to pick them up so they leave them on the ice and Zamboni picks them up when it smooths the ice out."

"Oh. How does the Tooth Fairy come if people don't have their teeth?"

"The Tooth Fairy doesn't come for adults…"

"Mommy, is that true?"

"Yes."

"Oh.."

"Would you like to get a treat from the concession stand?"

"Yeah!"

"Bones, I'll go with Hank…"

"Thanks, Parker. Christine, are you going along?"

"Yep.'

"Both of you hold Parker's hands."

"Okay…"

"Do you want anything, Bones?"

"I'll take a hot chocolate." Brennan handed Parker money .

Parker nodded, "Come on thing one and thing two…"

Brennan shook her head as Christine and Hank took Parker's hands and started heading for the exit.

After they won the game, the kids of players on Booth's team were invited to skate for a while if they wanted. Booth skated over to the side. "Do you want to skate, Hank? I won't let go."

"No, I don't want my teeth to go in the macaroni!"

"What?"

Parker started to snicker, Brennan rolled her eyes before she explained, "While we were waiting for the game to start Parker wondered aloud how many teeth were in the Zamboni. Hank asked how teeth end up in there, Parker said that hokey players get their teeth knocked out a lot playing hockey and they don't have time to pick them up so they leave them on the ice and Zamboni picks them up when it smooths the ice out…"

Booth grinned and knelt down, "Parker's right bud sometimes when people play hockey they do get their teeth knocked out and the Zamboni does pick them up. You're not going to play hockey; you're just going to skate your teeth are safe. Do you want to skate?"

"Uh-huh."

"How about out you, Christine?"

"No, it's too cold."

"Okay. We'll meet you at home, Bones."

"Okay. We're going to stay and watch for a little while."

"Okay. Let's go get you some skates, Hank." Booth picked Hank up and they headed to the skate rental counter.
