Today had been hard for Booth and Brennan, the case they had was particularly nasty and complicated. Their only goal for the night was to get dinner in Christine, get her bathed and in bed so they could relax. After a dinner of veggie stir fry with brown rice for Brennan and Booth and butter noodles for Christine. Brennan was getting her bathed and in bed. Booth got the dinner dishes cleaned up and made a cup of tea for Brennan, dimmed the lights and put Brennan's favorite vanilla bean scented candle on the candle warmer. A few minutes later Booth grinned as Brennan came into the living room.

"Booth…"

"Come sit with me and relax…"

Brennan nodded and sat down next to Booth, picking up the tea off the coffee table. "Thanks Booth." Brennan noticed Booth wasn't dinking his normal beer "No beer, Booth?"

"No, I saw the hot chocolate when I was getting your tea, It sounded good tonight…"

Brennan nodded and snuggled into Booth

"Christine go down ok?"

"Yes, she needed an extra snuggle and book tonight though…"

"Well, sometimes it's hard to knowing you're gonna be a big sister…"

"Yes…"

Thirty seconds later Brennan sat bolt upright and pulled away from Booth, heading towards their room.

"Bones?"

Brennan looked over her shoulder, "The smell of the candle is making me nauseated…"

Booth nodded a little and watched Brennan retreat to their bedroom. After waiting a while Booth walks into their bedroom and find Brennan sitting up in bed. "Feeling better?"

"Yes. The vanilla smell is too strong for me right now…"

Booth smiles a little and pulls out the unscented candles that they use for date night from behind his back. "I know and I also know how much you find candlelight relaxing..." Booth sits the candles on their dresser and pulls the lighter from his pants pocket and lights them before climbing into bed with her. Brennan snuggles into Booth's side, "Thank you, Booth…"

"You're welcome, Bones. What do you say we let Christine spend the afternoon with Max and go sniff candles and see if we can find some that don't make you sick this weekend?"

Brennan smiles, "We don't have to go find new candles this weekend, but letting Christine spend the day and even the night with dad sounds like an excellent idea."

"it's a date."

"Can we get Thai?'

"Of course."
