**Prologue**
The morning in zootopia was sunny and vibrant, with the city's inhabitants bustling towards work, chatting and exchanging smiles, however, on a populous corner of the central Savannah district, the mood was about to change, Judy and nick had been assigned a case involving electronic store thefts, at first, it seemed like an ordinary robbery, but these incidents had become frequent and puzzling, the culprits weren't stealing money or high-value items, just electronics, this intrigued judy and her partner.
Judy hopps, zootopia's most determined rabbit police officer, adjusted her utility belt as she examined the crime scene, an electronics store that had been broken into during the night, she was determined to uncover who was responsible, her partner, nick Wilde, the sly fox, stood by her side, jotting down notes while analyzing the details
"Look, carrots, if they took the best gadgets, they're probably not just after the latest anyphone model" nick said, winking as he examined a package from a device left behind, "This robbery has all the signs of an organized operation"
"Or a group of bored teenagers" Judy replied with a confident smile, raising an eyebrow "But you're right, we need to dig in deeper, Let's check the store's security cameras"
Nick placed a hand over his heart, putting on an exaggerated look of pain "Oh no, carrots! The security cameras? You know they have a terrible track record of capturing nickolas in action!"
"Sorry, Fox, but I'm not letting you off that easily!" Judy responded, laughter escaping her lips, "You know that if we want to solve this, we need evidence, and the last time we did things your way, all we found was your favorite pizza trail"
"A delicious pizza, by the way," he retorted with a mischievous grin "But fine, what do you suggest? Should we take a stroll and ask some of our underground friends? or maybe I should disguise myself as the Big Bad Wolf again?"
"No, no, no!" Judy exclaimed, waving her hands in protest "No disguises, Let's go with a plan that Works, being ourselves and gathering information as always"
Reluctantly agreeing, nick and Judy headed to the police department, where the security footage was stored, as they walked, judy suddenly stopped, sensing that someone was watching them from afar "Nick, do you feel that? There's something strange… it's like we're being watched" she said, twitching her ears
"Or maybe you're just being paranoid, as usual?" nick teased, but the concern in his tone didn't go unnoticed
"Maybe, but something doesn't feel right" Judy replied, looking around, the city seemed normal, but there was an odd tension in the air, as if the calm was just a mask hiding something sinister
ZPD Department
Upon arriving at the department, Judy quickly accessed the camera footage, and what she saw made her heart race, a group of hooded figures were carrying boxes that clearly belonged to the looted store, as she watched, one of the thieves turned toward the camera, their face illuminated by a beam of light, what had been just a shadow transformed into a cold, calculating gaze that made Judy shiver
"Judy, are you okay?" nick asked, noticing her expression "You look as pale as a frightened bunny"
"Nick, I think this is bigger than we thought" she whispered, her eyes fixed on the screen "We need to report this to the captain"
"Sure, but before we go running like rabbits in an open field, could you at least tell me what you saw? or are you just going to leave me in suspense here?"
"Look, you'll want to see this" Judy said, turning the screen so nick could view it "These are the same thieves who broke into the store last week, see how everything was planned, and now we have a face, we're dealing with professionals, look at this, they only stole high-tech hardware, no phones, computers, or cash, there's something very strange about this"
Nick studied the screen, his expression growing serious "Well, this is definitely something that needs investigating, but tell me, Judy… do you remember that time we thought we were after a gang, only to find out it was just a group of ferrets in a dance competition? That was the most embarrassing moment of our careers"
Judy couldn't help but laugh, but her mind was focused on what lay ahead "We can't afford to make mistakes now, nick, we have to act fast"
As adrenaline began to course through her veins, a dark shadow passed by outside the window, Judy frowned, sensing the tension in the air grow even stronger
"Nick, I really feel like we're being watched"
"Maybe it's just a secret admirer" nick joked, though there was a hint of worry in his voice "Or a new fan of our detective show"
But the truth would soon prove far more terrifying than either could have imagined, as the two prepared to investigate further, the shadow began to take shape, and a new enemy was about to make its entrance—one that wasn't just watching
