Thinking about this arc has been fun. Because aside from thinking about what I can do with the Edens Zero villains, I've also found a way to make this even more of an epic arc. A lot of focus will go to some characters in particular, but I promise that everyone will enjoy what's to come.

So no more beating around the bush. It's time for the villain academia to get started.

THROUGH THE ROUGH

"It's cold…" That almost heavenly voice echoed in Shura's head as his eyes would flutter open every few seconds. Bandages were wrapped around his arms and torso, with patches on his faces and some around his head. He looked up at the ceiling of the abandoned warehouse that the League was occupying, seeing bits of it crumble away. At that moment, a figure approached.

"Oh, he's awake!" Himiko exclaimed with a smile, "Hey, Tomura!" she called out.

"Finally up, Mister Prince?" the Decay Quirk user inquired of his colleague, who huffed.

"How long have I been out?" he asked.

"Not long," Maria answered as she approached, sucking on a lollipop, "You came back to us beaten and bruised by your old man at sunset yesterday," she pointed out.

"…He's not my old man," Shura grumbled.

"Yeah, no shit," the Slime Quirk user retorted, "You have any idea what kinda crap you just pulled us into?" she inquired of her colleague, who gritted his teeth, "Why not just leave us out of your crappy family business?" she questioned on in frustration.

"Hey, I don't wanna hear shit from a bitch who worked for Drakken Joe!" the Satan Gravity Quirk user shouted.

"At least Mister Joe isn't apparently a monster like your old man is!" Maria yelled back.

"He's not my old man!" Shura roared.

"Stop it!" Fie suddenly shouted as he shoved Maria away, "Don't go blamin' the guy fer tryin' to stick up fer us," he pointed out, much to the Satan Gravity Quirk user's surprise.

"That's why you went to Nero, right?" Tomura presumed. His colleague didn't answer, lying back down on his bed. "Hmph," he huffed, "I don't care either way," he affirmed, going over to a couch and sitting down, removing the hands upon his body.

"Where the hell were you guys?" Shura asked after a moment.

"Out looting, if you can believe it," Compress responded, "With Giran leaving us actors in the lurch, we don't have funds for anything," he pointed out with a shrug.

"Get this, Shura!" Daichi chimed in excitedly, "We robbed the Creature Rejection Clan last night!" he pointed out, "They didn't really have much loot, but we made sure to take out every single one of them…" he mentioned, "Maria especially got feisty…" he added, causing the Slime Quirk user to perk up in surprise, "When they called Spinner a lizard, she raged out and—!"

"HEY, SHUT UP!" Maria shouted in embarrassment as she blushed. Fortunately for her, Spinner wasn't even paying attention to her. He stood in the middle of the room with his arms crossed, contemplating over everything that was happening. Because things with the yakuza had fallen through, the League was left with little recourse. All they could do was just survive off of what they could find. And it was humiliating.

"If Giran's unavailable, what about this 'doctor' friend of All For One's I've heard of?" Compress inquired of Tomura.

"Yeah, what's this 'doctor' guy like?" Himiko asked of Tomura as the others listened in.

"He was my master's physician, but I've only ever gotten to talk to him via phone call from the old hideout," he explained as an answer, "He's also the guy who created and managed those Nomu..." he mentioned on.

"No matter how cautious he is about coming into the light, he should be helping us out!" Compress insisted in frustration, "All For One's successor is running himself ragged in circles!" he pointed out.

"Yeah, let's go find him!" Twice declared, "I don't think that's a good idea..." he added, taking on a more serious tone. As the league members bantered, only Spinner was growing all the more upset. They weren't doing anything but wait. It seemed like their demise was inevitable. And then, the heteromorph stepped forward.

"Hey... where are we going at this rate?" he asked Tomura, getting his attention.

"Huh?" he uttered in confusion.

"I'm here because Stain inspired me!" Spinner yelled, "All my life, I've been a damn outcast..." he grumbled, "People called me a freak 'cause of what I looked like, and I grew up in the country where conservative values thrived..." he mentioned out of frustration, "I thought it was only natural though," he admitted, "but my heart was filled with nothing but emptiness..." he confessed on, "And then... I got to see Stain's last moments," he continued, "He wanted to change the world! All by himself even!" he pointed out loudly, "And I realized that for the first time, this damn world needed to change!" he exclaimed on, "I couldn't just stand by and do nothing, so I came to all of you!" he finished.

"Wait... so you weren't just some hollow cosplayer?" Dabi inquired, seemingly unimpressed by the sudden rant.

"Yeah, and I got nothing else to my name!" the heteromorph shouted back as a reply, "That's why I can't understand why we're in the damn state we're in!" he yelled as he grabbed Tomura by his jacket, "I thought you were gonna change this world, Shigaraki!" he proclaimed angrily, "Answer me, where the hell are we heading towards?!" he asked, with his voice echoing throughout the warehouse.

"...I already told you-"

"We're gonna take the fuckin' throne," Shura suddenly chimed in, standing up from the bed before falling to a knee in a pained yelp.

"Sh-Shura!" Daichi stammered out, seeing him rip off the bandages around his head.

"You're talking about us going after Poseidon Nero, one of the Oracion Seis?!" Compress assumed out of shock.

"That's suicide!" Twice exclaimed, "I like it…" he admitted in an excited, hushed tone. Getting onto his feet with a grunt, the Satan Gravity Quirk user stood up with his fists clenched, approaching Tomura as Spinner let him go.

"Sitting here isn't gonna do shit for us," he pointed out, "So here's the deal," he continued in a firm voice, "We either go out guns blazing and take what we deserve…" he kept going, "or you can stay here and rot like trash," he said. A hushed silence fell amidst the group of villains. And then, a rumbling occurred.

"The hell?!" Maria yelped, grabbing onto the couch to keep herself standing.

"Everyone out, quick!" Compress insisted, hurrying outside with everyone to follow right before the building wound up collapsing.

"Holy shit…" Fie cursed.

"What the hell was that…?" Dabi wondered aloud. Himiko glanced over and spotted something, widening her eyes while raising a finger to point toward the distance.

"Guys…?" she uttered, getting her colleagues' attentions. They all looked out and gasped. Looming before them with Gigantomachia, whose radio around his neck was broadcasting weather reports.

"So this is what you were after, Kurogiri?" Tomura realized as he grinned underneath the hand over his face.

"Hey, hey, are you serious?" Daichi inquired, "This is what Kurogiri sacrificed himself for?!" he questioned emphatically.

"If it is, then we've got ourselves quite the magnificent asset to face Poseidon Nero with!" Compress pointed out excitedly.

"Master's successor…" the behemoth before the group said, getting their attentions as they saw him set his radio aside, "Show me your worth…" he challenged as he raised his right arm.

"Huh?" Tomura uttered before Gigantomachia slammed his right hand down, blowing everyone back.

OPENING

Insert "Memories" by ONE OK ROCK

Opens with an image of Tenko Shimura crying in his family's backyard with Mon in his grasp as he scratches at his eyes. A shadow looms over him, being that of his older self as Tomura Shigaraki, who narrows his eyes under the hand over his face. Meanwhile, we also see an image of Poseidon Shura looming over his younger self, as he's crying in a corner.

We cut to the opening logo, which is crushed and disintegrated before turning into "My Villain Academia". We see images of Fie, Maria Slime, Daichi, Mr. Compress, Dabi, Himiko Toga, Twice, and finally, Spinner. He sighs as he sees his colleagues loitering around, seemingly doing nothing of importance. Maria looks back at him sadly, dropping her lollipop.

All of a sudden, the ground shakes before shattering around them, with Gigantomachia revealing himself to challenge them. We also get a shot of Doctor Garaki, who grins under his moustache. The scene switches over to the likes of the Meta Liberation Army and those of Nero's forces, including the likes of Deadend Crow. Amidst them, Giran is being held captive in a tower, grimacing with frustration.

The League of Villains arrives in Deika City, being pitted immediately into battle against the Meta Liberation Army. Explosions from Curious blow back Himiko and Maria, as both have sudden flashes of their pasts, with the former trying to live her life in spite of her habits, while the latter looks in a mirror crying before Drakken Joe places a hand onto her shoulder reassuringly. We see green slime coat Maria before turning black and unleashing tendrils violently onto her foes.

Next, we see Twice getting himself trampled by puppets of his own visage. Fie tries to help him, but he's suddenly bombarded by a barrage of cards fired by Lyra. We see a flash of him as a kid having watched a particular hero constantly on TV, smiling brightly. His body flares up in flames, creating a torrential inferno.

Tomura and Shura charge through more members of the Meta Liberation Army, with Spinner, Daichi, Compress and Dabi holding off anyone from following them. We see Fabiano leap in covered in crystals, striking Tomura to send him flying back. Meanwhile, Shura gets blown away by Callum, who uses his Carburetor to tear a hole through the Satan Gravity Quirk user.

The Meta Liberation Army seems so imposing, especially with Re-Destro, Nero and Deadend Crow on their side. However, we witness Tomura and Shura charge through to them, yelling all the while. There are flashes of their pasts, with Tomura meeting All For One as he extends a hand to him, while Shura is introduced to Ijuna as his personal servant. She watches the battles rage on from the tower looking over the city, closing her right hand into a fist as she grimaces.

As the battle rages on, we see Crow and Gigantomachia collide with each other, Tomura losing his jacket and shirt as he disintegrates much of the ground, and Shura having energy lines expand around his body in midair as he faces down his adoptive father, who rolls his trio of dice in his right hand. We end the opening with the young forms of Tomura and Shura looking away from each other, both born into families that resented them. They turn to each other, now aged up to the current time, flashing sadistic grins.

END OPENING

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" Gigantomachia wailed, falling to his knees, "Why?! WHHHYYYYYYYY?!" he cried on with dismay, "Why is Master's successor so weak?!" he cried out in question.

"Are you freakin' kidding me?!" Maria exclaimed, "I thought this giant pain in the ass was supposed to be on our side!" she noted emphatically in frustration.

"All evidence so far seems to point to the contrary," Dabi muttered as a retort, much to her chagrin. With Gigantomachia's sudden challenge to Tomura and the rest of the League, they were wholly unprepared to even try and fight him off. It was already bad enough that they were short-handed with a weakened Shura and deprived resources.

"Agh…" Fie groaned as he held his cracked rifle.

"This is impossible...!" Spinner noted aloud. Nothing seemed to faze the giant. And then... his radio that he had set down earlier came on.

"Well, Tomura Shigaraki..." a deep voice from it began, "It seems you've finally met what you've needed..." he noted.

"...Doctor..." the villains' leader said, recognizing the voice.

"Wait, that's the doctor we've been looking for?!" Spinner inquired amidst the loud wailing of the behemoth.

"It's more like he found us, I think..." Himiko grumbled as she managed to get to her feet. As it turned out, the giant before the group was a direct subordinate of All For One. He was a powerful force, hidden away prior to the villain's defeat at All Might's hands. But now, he was back as a parting gift to Tomura.

"Honestly, this doesn't seem like such a nice present to me!" Dabi admitted before unleashing streams of his cobalt blue flames onto the behemoth.

"You've got a good eye, Dabi!" the doctor noted in response. Gigantomachia had an unwavering loyalty to All For One. And he wasn't just about to pass that loyalty off onto his successor, especially as the gap between them was so wide. He endured Dabi's flames and charged forward, about to crash into the entire league.

"Machia..." All For One's voice suddenly echoed from the radio. Immediately, the behemoth turned and dropped to his knees, cradling the radio as if it were a newborn child, nuzzling it against his face. As he whimpered, the League members gathered back together.

"...I don't want this thing," Tomura grumbled out.

"Oh, you don't, do you?!" the doctor inquired, chuckling a little, "You really think you can just get power like this for free?!" he questioned on.

"Hey, you's the one who shoulda called us when we took out da yakuza!" Fie shouted in response, "Dis guy should be a gift fer us!" he mentioned emphatically.

"Yeah, I'm with Fie," Himiko agreed.

"Oh, come on now," the doctor muttered, "You really think I believe that the yakuza were taken down by you of all people?" he inquired of the villains, making them grimace, "Now just a moment…" he said.

"Son of a bitch…" Maria grumbled out as she walked off to the side, "After the yakuza shit fell through, I was hoping we'd get something to pull us out from the trenches…" she admitted in frustration.

"You too, huh?" Spinner guessed as he approached, "Why didn't you say anything?" he inquired of her.

"…Don't really have much of a place to," the Slime Quirk user answered to his surprise, "Shigaraki's not like Mister Joe, least to me," she mentioned as she looked down at the ground in deep thought, "I speak up, and I could end up with my ass turned to dust," she inferred, "You're different, Spinner," she pointed out to her heteromorph colleague, "You joined the League first, not Mister Joe's team," she added on, "It's only dumb luck that I found you guys again after Camino…" she finished, clenching her fists.

"Slime…" Spinner uttered out.

"Doc!" Twice's voice yelled from afar, getting their attentions as they saw him shaking the radio as he was crouched beside it, "Geez, can't this geezer get on with-? URP!" he burped, interrupting his own remark.

"Jin, that's gross..." Himiko pointed out, only to wind up hiccupping herself before black sludge shot out from her mouth... and everyone else's.

"This is the same Quirk All For One used back at Camino!" Compress recalled as the sludge enveloped him and the others. All of a sudden, they disappeared completely from the area, with no trace of their presence left behind. From his lab, the doctor looked out into the vast array of vats, which contained developing Nomu that varied in size and appearance. All of a sudden, black mounds of sludge appeared, with the League members emerging from them.

"Bleh!" Himiko gasped out in disgust the moment she and the others arrived in a dark room, shaking remnants of the black sludge off of herself.

"Where the hell are we…?" Dabi muttered out as a question.

"Hey, look!" Daichi exclaimed as he pointed forward. The whole group saw the vats around them, with Fie approaching one that had a more feminine figure.

"So it's these Nomu things…" he noted aloud.

"They look much different compared to the others we've had..." Compress mentioned curiously.

"Right you are!" a familiar voice chimed in, getting their attentions as they looked to see a roundish man with a bushy moustache sitting upon a swivel chair at the back of the room by several monitors, "Those are my precious High-End Nomu!" he introduced, "They're much more capable than the previous models," he pointed out, "though for now, they still haven't gone into the testing phase..." he admitted.

"You must be the doctor..." Maria concluded, narrowing her eyes, "We need to talk," she said, stepping forward.

"Oh, I'd advise you don't come any closer!" the plump man advised as he zipped off to the side upon his swivel chair, enticing her to stop, "Sorry, but I'd rather not let you approach so imprudently," he apologized in advance, "I'll be more friendly with the lot of you when I see fit," he assured.

"Hmph," Tomura scoffed out, "Doctor, I've been looking for you..." he told him, "I want you to replicate a certain bullet we got from the Hassaikai..." he requested, pulling out a small box from his coat.

"Hm, your hair's gotten a bit longer, Shigaraki..." the doctor noted curiously, "And how are your father and the others with you?" he inquired. Maria blinked in confusion, turning to Tomura.

"They're fine..." he answered, glancing at the hands upon his body. His colleagues looked over to him with bewildered expressions.

"Now then, this is my first time getting to interact with you all, aside from Shigaraki of course," the doctor pointed out to the group, "You may refer to me as Daruma Ujiko, though that's a name I just came up with on the spot..." he told them, "And as to what you desire..." he continued to the villains' leader, "I won't just be giving it to you," he stated.

"What?" Dabi uttered out as he blinked.

"Hey, you're the one who called us here to talk business!" Twice shouted, "You ripping us off?!" he questioned aloud.

"Oh, I assure you that this is business, Bubaigawara..." Daruma responded, "In spite of everything, you've all accomplished nothing as a group," he pointed out, "Even with Drakken's lackeys on your side, you haven't shaken this society up one bit," he mentioned mockingly, causing Maria to growl angrily, while Fie and Daichi glared, "So do tell..." he continued, "what exactly are you and your worthless twenty somethings, the trash of society, going to show me?" he inquired of Tomura. There was a tense moment of silence. Everyone looked to their leader, who pulled out one of his hands from his jacket.

"To be honest, I don't really remember much before I met you or Master..." he admitted, staring down at the disembodied extremity.

"Yes, I'm well aware," the doctor noted in reply.

"But even so, when I feel everybody on me... rage just fills my mind," Tomura pointed out, gripping the hand tightly.

"Shigaraki..." Spinner uttered. A lot of their leader's past was unknown. He had been taken in by All For One... after murdering his whole family due to the sudden manifestation of his Quirk. And the hands he wore... were the ones of his family.

"It's so strange..." he muttered out, "When I wear them, I feel like wanna hurl..." he admitted, "yet at the same time, I'm completely calm...!" he added with a chuckle, "Even though there's all these pieces of memories in me, it still feels like there's a block of lead crushing my heart..." he confessed on as the others listened with confused or uninterested expressions, save for Maria and Spinner, "And from there, anger just... continues to gush out of me..." he added, "So... why not just destroy it all?" he inquired to everyone's surprise.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Daruma suddenly cackled, "You sound like a child, even with that serious look on your face!" he pointed out, "Very well, Tomura Shigaraki!" he exclaimed, "I'll lend you my power!" he declared.

"...Well... that was easy..." Compress remarked.

"You got some really messed up ideas in your head, Tomura..." Himiko pointed out, "Hey, you're not gonna destroy the things I like, are you?" she questioned of her leader.

"My allies' likes are an exception," he assured in reply.

"Yay!" the Transform Quirk user exclaimed happily as she hopped up.

"Ha!" Daruma laughed again, "You're a lot crazier than I thought, Shigaraki!" he noted aloud, "As for you, Poseidon Shura…" he continued to the Satan Gravity Quirk user, "What do you want out of this?" he inquired of him, causing him to blink in surprise. He looked down in thought for a moment.

"I think revenge on his coldhearted father would be the first thing…" Compress assumed.

"Yeah, after he kicked da crap outta you, you deserve a shot at dat ugly mug…" Fie commented.

"No," Shura said, "That's not what I want," he confirmed to everyone's confusion. An image of a woman flashed through his mind as he lowered his head. "What I want…" he began as he clenched his fists, recalling the brutality he endured from Nero, "is to make that bastard suffer like I did, and make him lose everything…" he declared firmly. Tomura narrowed his eyes onto him as a long silence fell over the room.

"Ooh, how cool…" Maria grumbled sarcastically.

"AHAHAHAHAHA!" the doctor cackled, "You're both perfectly fit to be successors!" he affirmed to Tomura and Shura, "That said, I won't just lend you my support now that you've found me," he noted.

"Da hell?!" Fie exclaimed angrily.

"Well, I will give you some of my aid for now," Daruma promised, "But in order to get my full support, you'll have to prove yourselves," he instructed, "Gigantomachia is the perfect test of that," he affirmed on, "Have him submit to you, and you'll have whatever you desire from me," he said, holding out his right hand.

"That's it?" Tomura huffed out in question, letting off a smirk.

"Yeah, I ain't doing that..." Dabi grumbled.

"You're just mad 'cause your flames didn't hurt him..." Himiko pointed out mockingly

"Shut it, ya crazy bitch," the pyrokinetic muttered back, "I'm working on getting us a new ally, so my focus' gonna be there," he told the group, "I don't give a damn about what feelings you got, leader," he remarked to Tomura, "I'm gonna do what's best for me, got it?" he questioned. Surprisingly, the villains' leader didn't seem irritated.

"I'm looking forward to this new ally," he said.

"In that case... would you mind helping me with the High-End testing, Dabi?!" Daruma requested excitedly, "I think you and I have a great insight for these kinds of things!" he pointed out.

"Were you even listening to what I said?" the pyrokinetic muttered out.

"Go ahead and take the racist piece of shit off our hands," Maria said, causing Dabi to perk up in surprise as he turned to her, "He's not really helping us anyway…" she grumbled.

"What'd you call me…?" he growled in question as he approached her. She glared back at him.

"You heard me…" she retorted.

"Okay, that's enough!" Spinner insisted, stepping in between the pair and shoving them away from each other, "Maybe helping out the doc'll give us an edge," he suggested to the pyrokinetic, "And you don't have to deal with us while handling whatever things you wanna take care of," he added seriously. Dabi narrowed his eyes, glaring at Maria. However, he ultimately scoffed, turning away.

"Anyhow, here you are," Daruma offered as a metal arm held a tray of communicators for each of the League members to take, "Shall I send you back to Machia?" he inquired.

"Go ahead, Doctor," Tomura replied.

"Hey wait, we're not—!" Himiko's shout was interjected as she and the others were enveloped in a black sludge, disappearing from the area. The doctor grinned under his moustache, while Dabi sighed.

"Bleh…!" Daichi coughed upon being returned to where he and his colleagues had been taken from, "That black stuff was complete torture…" he noted giddily.

"Agh…" Shura groaned.

"You gonna be okay to fight, Shura?" Himiko asked of the Satan Gravity Quirk user.

"Yeah…" he responded, making his green energy lines appear along his arms, "If I can't beat this goliath, I might as well just die…" he remarked with a wicked grin. Tomura had the same expression upon his face.

"Hey..." he greeted, "your future king's returned..." he remarked to the behemoth, who growled with contempt. He wasn't ready to accept the Decay Quirk user as his new master just yet. And it was going to be a grueling task to make him submit. In fact, it would be one that would end the League of Villains entirely…

X

It was the middle of December. Tomura barely had gotten closer to taking down Gigantomachia, even with the help of his colleagues. He was only one the behemoth was focused on, so the others took rounds to battle the beast and rest. For 48 hours and 44 minutes, the giant would not yield nor let the Decay Quirk user get an ounce of sleep. And he himself would only need three hours to nap before getting back at it again.

"That bastard's really something…" Maria remarked from afar, licking a blue lollipop, "He's like a damn mole…" she mentioned in frustration.

"Sounds like you wanna help," Spinner noted, getting her attention as he stood beside her.

"Do you?" she inquired back.

"Would if I could," the heteromorph replied, "That guy's going through hell without rest, yet he's still smiling like an idiot," he pointed out, hearing the loud bangs out in the forested area where Tomura and Gigantomachia were battling.

"Huh..." Maria sighed, "We're no closer to beating him than we were months ago..." she added with frustration in her tone, "At this rate, we might as well hope that Dabi's able to get us that ally he'd been talking about..." she muttered.

"Hm," Spinner huffed, "Hey, what'd you spend your money on?" he inquired curiously.

"Just the jacket," the Slime Quirk user responded, wearing a pink fleece jacket over her skintight suit, "I got more for food and stuff," she affirmed.

"Hey, you're spending smart," Spinner noted, "Unlike some people..." he remarked, looking over at Himiko, who had a new duffel coat and scarf on.

"Hey, I move better when I'm warm, ya know!" she retorted, puffing out her cheeks.

"Right..." the heteromorph responded, putting on his mask and tying it together from the back. As another loud boom erupted, Maria glanced back to see the plumes of dirt and dust. It wouldn't be long until Tomura gave up, she thought. But he had already been fighting for months on end without relenting. So there was little of a sign that he'd be slowing down.

"His moves are getting slower..." he pointed out to the group as they had all gathered back together once Gigantomachia was asleep, "Compared to the start, I'd say we've gotten closer to making that gorilla go down onto his knees for me," he mentioned confidently.

"Hm," Shura huffed. Tomura was like a child chasing his dreams.

"We gots to get a level-up somehow!" Fie insisted as he clenched his fists, "If I had my guns, I'd be shootin' Flame Bullets right through dat monstah…" he proclaimed.

"What we need is Overdrive," Daichi advised, "Mister Joe could do it, so I don't see why we can't…" he mentioned with a grin.

"Good luck with that…" Maria remarked, throwing away her lollipop, "Not even Shura's got his," she pointed out.

"What?!" Compress exclaimed as he and the others turned to the Satan Gravity Quirk user, who scoffed as he looked away.

"But you were being trained by Nero himself!" Daichi noted.

"Even girls like Becky and Kleeney have theirs!" Himiko mentioned.

"Look, I don't need it, alright?!" Shura shouted to his colleagues, "All that training that old bastard drilled into me didn't get it to come out, so why would it work now?" he inquired aloud.

"Still a shock you can't do it," Maria chimed in.

"Huh…" Spinner sighed, "We should keep trying to get in touch with Giran," he advised of the group, "Maybe he's got something else for us aside from what we're dealing with," he suggested.

"Well, you can expect his calls to go straight to his damn voicemail," Compress grumbled out, "Honestly, that man's of no help to any of us at this point…" he muttered on. All of a sudden, a phone rang. Rather, it was a ringtone that sounded like someone passing gas. And it came from none other than Twice.

"That's your ringtone…?" Maria questioned in disgust.

"Hey, it's Giran," he noted upon seeing the caller I.D. as he pulled out his device.

"What?!" Compress exclaimed in surprise, "I've been calling him for days on end and got nothing but radio silence!" he pointed out in frustration, "Why the hell is he calling you first?!" he questioned, "Ask him if we have damage insurance!" he requested, showing off what remained of his prosthetic arm.

"Don't sweat it!" Twice replied, hitting the answer icon, "Giran's the guy who introduced me to you all and looked out for me!" he noted in remembrance, "He's a super nice guy!" he added, followed by... "You bastard! Why aren't you answering Mister Compress' calls?!" he asked out of anger, "You're the worst!" he exclaimed.

'Quite the schizophrenic...' Maria muttered inwardly.

"Hehe!" Fie chuckled, "Least now we gots in touch with da guy!" he pointed out with a grin.

"Ah, that's entirely our fault. Giran isn't really the one to blame here," a voice from the phone answered, causing those of the league to perk up as they heard it. That wasn't their broker...

"Who... is this?" Twice asked, quickly double-checking that it was Giran's number who had dialed him.

"Whoever it is, they're using a voice changer..." Compress noted.

'Don't tell me…' Shura uttered inwardly with a grimace. The caller requested for the villains to look into the news, discovering that fingers had been found at sites of which they were involved in during their villainous escapades. Each one was with a separate article of clothing or jewelry. And they all appeared to be from the same person.

"Allow me to introduce myself, League of Villains," the person over the line began. Elsewhere in another city, the individual speaking was none other than Rikiya, a tall, odd-looking, middle-aged man with a prominently long, pointed nose and obtruding chin, as well as small, dark eyes. He had short, orange-brownish hair, set noticeably far up his forehead, a widow's peak pointing downwards in the center, and he wore it swept back around his head. He didn't have any visible eyebrows, and also possessed two dark moles on the left of his forehead. He was wearing a suit that consists of a green dress shirt, a green tie, and a black, pinstriped blazer with matching dress pants. "My name is Re-Destro, leader of the Meta Liberation Army," he introduced while pouring himself a glass of wine.

"Liberation Army?" Compress repeated in confusion.

"First the yakuza and now this?" Tomura questioned, "Is retro culture becoming a fad again?" he wondered aloud. The caller laughed.

"Oh, you might've gotten me there!" he admitted, "But then again, we were the ones who created that fad..." he pointed out.

"What do you want from us?" Maria inquired, narrowing her eyes.

"What'd you do to Giran?!" Twice asked loudly, "He's a real good guy, ya know!" he pointed out, much to the annoyance of some of his colleagues.

"Calm down, Twice…" Fie advised, putting a hand onto his left shoulder.

"Don't worry... he's still alive," Re-Destro assured, glancing back at the broker who was tied to a chair, having been beaten quite badly, "My goal is a simple one, you know," he pointed out, "To liberate us from the oppression of our meta-powers by corrupt governance," he told them.

"That... kinda sounds like what we're doing..." Himiko pointed out.

"Let go of our broker and call back later," Tomura requested of the caller, "I'll listen to what you have to say about your dumb revolution club after I've taken care of business on my end," he promised harshly.

"Tomura..." Daichi uttered. Unfortunately, they were in no position to make demands. The reason being that not only was Re-Destro not going to let Giran go, and not only did his army have 116,516 soldiers, but he also had satellites locked onto the league's location.

"No matter where you might hide, the heroes will find you!" he declared over the phone that Twice tossed away.

"Awfully kind of you to warn us..." Tomura grumbled, realizing that there was no point in being petty, "So what do you want?" he asked.

"The only ruler of this world will have the name of 'Destro' and no other," Re-Destro declared in response, sipping his wine, "So you, League of Villains, will fall at our hands to light the way for the new revolution!" he decided, "Those 'fingers' we left are our pledge," he mentioned, "Come to Deika City in Aichi within the hour!" he instructed, "And we'll end your miserable little group!" he vowed additionally, "And one more thing…" he continued before a brief silence.

"Uh… what's happening?" Daichi asked, hearing what sounded like shuffling.

"My foolish son…" a deep voice echoed from the phone, causing everyone to freeze upon recognizing it, especially Shura, "Your life was spared from our last encounter, not because of your pitiful strength, but because I chose to let you live at the dice's decree," he told the Satan Gravity Quirk user, who started trembling, "Now they've steered me towards a new direction, one in which you will die at my hands, along with your League of Villains," he declared firmly.

"An Oracion Seis member's with the Meta Liberation Army…?!" Compress emphatically gasped out.

"And both just declared war on us!" Maria pointed out, looking over to the two men in particular who were their enemies' targets. One was grinning, the other was trembling. But both knew they'd have to face this… or they'd die.

Opens with the dawning sun, causing Shura to wake up as rays of sunlight reach his eyes. He looks over to his left to find Ijuna sitting next to him, smiling lovingly at him. He smiles back, putting his hand atop hers. Elsewhere, we see Spinner sitting atop a building, looking out at the horizon. Maria comes over and sits down next to him. She glances at him for a moment before leaning against his shoulder, much to his surprise as he looks at her. We also see Himiko skipping along a sidewalk as Twice walks after her, holding her handkerchief in his pocket.

We continue with Tomura seemingly wandering through an empty house, having flashes of the past as a kid, running through the house and spending time with his family… except for his father. We see him pick up a picture in a study, narrowing his eyes to see Nana Shimura upon it. He disintegrates it as the house around him also crumbles into dust.

Shura stands at the doorway of his bedroom, remembering every day he'd return with bruises and cuts from his training from Nero, not once being properly taken care of. He blinks and finds himself being tended to upon his bed by Ijuna, who wraps bandages around his arms. A small smile crosses Shura's face. He blinks again… and finds that Ijuna is gone. He lowers his head as Nero looms just behind him.

We get a shot of Fie seated inside a warehouse with a rifle by his side, looking at a picture of himself as a kid with his big brother, Hito. He grimaces before burning the image up. Then we cut to Mr. Compress, who removes his mask and balaclava to reveal his face as he looks in the mirror. He sees a reflection of Harima Oji before it changes back to himself, causing him to clench his lone fist tightly.

From another building, Maria watches a civil rights protest for heteromorphs go on as she winces, with bits of green slime dripping off from her body. A hand comes onto her left shoulder, causing her to look over and almost mistake Spinner for Drakken, who nods to her. We see Dabi wandering about city alleys with cobalt flames in his wake, as smoke emits from his skin like burning meat. Even so, he grins.

The song winds down with the League gathering together, looking out over Deika City. Removing the hand upon his face, Tomura grins determinedly. The others do the same, ready to face whatever they have to in order to fulfill their desires…

END ENDING

This arc is going to be a lot of fun to do. You're going to be getting a lot of character developments from the villains here, particularly Shura, Maria, and Fie. The reason I'm telling you now is because each of them will be getting individual chapters to flesh out their stories. I promise that they won't overlap with the rest of the League members, though.

But that's it for now! Thanks for reading, everyone!
