170 chapters later, we're finally at the end of the Season 5 adaptation! This one shouldn't be too long, as it's mainly meant to set up for the World Heroes' Mission Arc coming next. But I'll still be giving it my all as we head into the end of this year! So without further delay, welcome back to "Through the Rough"!
THROUGH THE ROUGH
"A worldwide team-up?" Rebecca said as she blinked, standing alongside her boyfriend, Katsuki, Shoto, and Homura, as they were being told by Endeavor about a new mission happening overseas. He was planning on taking part in it, but was offering his students the opportunity to join him.
"Make no mistake, something like this is a lot, especially for mere students like you," the Hellflame Quirk user pointed out, "That's why you're going to be tested," he decided.
"How so?" Homura inquired as she stepped forward. Moments later, the quintet were gathered in a training room, facing down their mentor.
"You'll need to land but a single hit on me within three minutes in order to join this endeavor," he declared, folding his arms over his chest.
"A single hit…?" his son repeated.
"On Endeavor, that's not gonna be easy…" Izuku noted as sweat trickled down his face.
"Yeah…" his girlfriend agreed. However, Katsuki smirked.
"One hit?" he questioned, taking on a ready stance as his classmates looked over to him in surprise, "I'm sure that's gonna be a cakewalk!" he proclaimed before blasting himself forward.
"K-Kacchan!" his rival stammered out.
"Don't be reckless, you idiot!" Rebecca yelled, "This is Endeavor we're fighting!" she pointed out. The Explosion Quirk user closed in on the Flame Hero, flipping over in an attempt to land an axe kick. However, his target moved aside and slammed his left fist into his side, sending him flying across the room before he crashed against a column.
"Bakugo!" Shoto cried out.
"Of course…" the Cat Leaper Quirk user grumbled, putting her right hand onto her face out of exasperation. Homura then prepared a pair of red energy blades in her hands.
"Midoriya, can you and Bluegarden provide Shoto and I cover?" she requested, getting the One For All inheritor's attention.
"Yeah," he replied with a nod, while his girlfriend pulled out her Happy Blasters.
"He may be number one, but a single hit shouldn't be too much trouble," the Half-Cold, Half-Hot Quirk user affirmed, making ice start to form around his right foot, "We just have to time our moves carefully," he advised.
"Right!" his classmates agreed. He started by sending out a wave of ice toward his father, only for it to be instantaneously eviscerated by his flames. In that same instant, he saw both Homura and Rebecca running to opposite sides. The latter aimed her blasters and fired, only for her shots to be incinerated. The Soul Blade Quirk user lunged over in an attempt to slash him, but he moved aside, knocking her away with an elbow to her chest.
"Homura!" Shoto and Rebecca cried out, seeing her hop back and skid to a stop upon her feet.
"I'm alright…" she assured through a grunt, standing upright, "With his attention on me…" she continued, letting off a grin as she noticed Izuku lunging in from behind Endeavor, rearing his right leg back, "he completely forgot about Midoriya!" she pointed out. However, the Flame Hero ducked from the One For All inheritor's attempted roundhouse kick, followed by grabbing his leg and flinging him away.
"Izu!" Rebecca yelped, leaping over to catch her boyfriend as they both crashed against another column.
"Dammit!" Shoto cursed, while Homura grimaced. Meanwhile, Katsuki stood up in a grunt.
'He's got good reflexes…' he noted to himself, gritting his teeth.
'Because of his flames, it's difficult for any of us to get close…' the Soul Blade Quirk pointed out inwardly as she shared a glance with Shoto, while Izuku and Rebecca got back onto their feet.
"What's wrong?" Endeavor asked of the quintet, getting their attentions, "Are you all uncertain of your worth?" he presumed.
"Like hell we are!" Katsuki roared, blasting himself out toward the Flame Hero again.
"Kacchan!" Rebecca cried out. Unlike before, the Explosion Quirk user launched another blast to propel himself around Endeavor before potentially getting struck down again.
"Hey, idiots!" he yelled, "We're goin' all in at once!" he decided firmly.
"Uh, I'm not so sure that's a good—"
"I see," Homura said, interjecting Izuku as he blinked in surprise, "He won't be able to handle stopping the five of us at once," she affirmed, tightening the grip she had upon her blades.
"It's worth a shot," her boyfriend concurred, igniting flames around his left arm.
"Oh boy…" Rebecca mumbled nervously. The One For All inheritor sighed, but then took on a determined expression as he let green sparks of bio-electricity crackle around him. He and his classmates rushed the Flame Hero, who let the heat around his body swell. Flames then exploded around him, blowing all five of his students back before they could strike. They collapsed to the floor, groaning all the while.
"That's two minutes," he pointed out, "Unless of course you'd like to make it a do-over…" he remarked over to Rebecca, who was pushing herself up in spite of her pain.
"No way…" she grunted out, "Do-overs for things like this mean we're nowhere near ready…" she noted, getting to her feet.
"That's right…" Izuku agreed as he stood up, "If we can't do this here and now, we don't deserve to be your students for this work study," he affirmed.
"Nor do we deserve the chance to fight villains overseas…" Shoto added.
"We'll land that single hit on you within this last minute, Endeavor," Homura declared, readying but a single energy blade in her right hand.
"Yeah, you can bet your ass we're not giving up…" Katsuki growled out, letting small explosions crackle off of his gloved palms.
'That's right…' the Flame Hero said inwardly, 'That's what it means to be Plus Ultra,' he noted through his thoughts. The Explosion Quirk user was the first to act, blasting himself around to be behind his foe, unleashing an explosive blast of light that Endeavor was barely able to shield his arms from. Flames spread before him from his son, getting his attention as he narrowed his eyes.
"Not bad, Shoto," he complimented of him, while he grimaced a little. At that moment, several energy swords went flying out at the Hellflame Quirk user, which he quickly eviscerated with his flames. However, some struck the floor, causing bursts of dust to build up along with the smoke from the flames. With no way to tell where each of his opponents were, Endeavor found himself suddenly getting ambushed by none other than Izuku, who reared his right fist back. He landed a powerful punch to his stomach, making him let out a grunt.
'I got him!' he exclaimed inwardly in realization, smiling a little.
"Hiyah!" his girlfriend yelled as she lunged in, having assumed her Overdrive form as she landed a roundhouse kick to the Flame Hero's head, "Alright!" she excitedly exclaimed.
"Well done, all of you…" Endeavor remarked, "And with fifteen seconds left to spare, apparently," he mentioned.
"Whoa, we cut it close…" Rebecca realized as she came down and transformed back to normal.
"Tch," Katsuki scoffed, "If we had thirty more seconds, we could've won the fight…" he grumbled.
"Huh…" Shoto exhaled, "I still need to work on my firepower…" he realized as he looked at his left hand.
"And I still need to hone my Overdrive and rely upon it when the time is right…" Homura mentioned.
"I can't believe I managed to land a hit on Endeavor of all people…" Izuku admitted, muttering out notes of their training. His girlfriend gave off a smile towards him and their colleagues. Now they'd be taking part in a worldwide affair. And there was much needed to do in order to prepare for it…
OPENING
Insert "Kaibutsu" by Tani Yuuki
Opens with Rebecca getting into her winter costume, donning her cat ears and blue jacket before stepping out of the locker room. She smiles as she spots Izuku, Katsuki, Shoto, and Homura, as they're all gathered at the Endeavor Agency together. They walk into the main office, finding themselves greeted by Endeavor, Burnin, and the other sidekicks, ready to start another day of work.
We see the five interns struggling to keep up with Endeavor as he speeds ahead, saving lives and stopping villains. For a moment, he hesitates upon thinking of his family laughing at the dinner table without him. Meanwhile, Gowen is hanging out in an abandoned warehouse with Elsie and the rest of the crew, glancing out a window to see the Flame Hero he once worked under acting like more of a hero than he remembers. He turns away to gather with his colleagues, whom all don't notice the smirk on Jesse's face.
Elsewhere, Madame Kurenai marvels at the sight of the red mech suit being built for her, with her cohorts standing behind her. Nino grimaces worriedly before looking away. We get shots of the Paranormal Liberation Front, including Tomura as he enters a vat and closes his eyes, being sent into a deep slumber. Dabi is out in the city, overlooking how Endeavor and his interns are faring in fending off villains.
Katsuki blasts himself away from Baku, who swings blades of energy his way from his axe. Izuku protrudes his Blackwhip from his right arm, imitating Spider-Man as he swings about while evading the many Punishers heading his way. They're shot down by Rebecca, who winks with a grin before taking care of more foes.
Next, we find a scene of Homura coming face-to-face with Kurenai for the first time, as she opens her arms to welcome her. However, Shoto suddenly steps in between them, igniting the flames on his left side threateningly. Kurenai smirks, hopping into her mech as it towers over the two U.A. students. They take ready stances before starting a battle.
There are shots of Deadend Crow, Poseidon Shura, Tomura Shigaraki, God Acnoella, Elsie Crimson, and Saintfire Nox, as they all give off ominous auras. We also see the likes of Justice, Mirko, Holy, Eraser, Feather, and Cure, though the latter looks away. There's also shots of the other students on their internships, with Kleene and Ochaco flying alongside Nejire and Ryukyu, with Tsuyu riding aboard the Dragoon Hero's back. Weisz, Eijiro and Tetsutetsu gorge on takoyaki with Fat Gum, while Tamaki sulks in the corner, unable to keep up with their energy.
Kyoka and Mezo are interning under Gang Orca with Laguna and Hitoshi. The Tears Lover Quirk user notices that Kyoka's home screen on her phone is a picture of her and Rebecca from the school concert, which she blushes at. She yelps in embarrassment upon realizing that Laguna saw, while Mezo and Hitoshi blink in confusion. Shiki flies alongside Fumikage as they soar after Hawks, who's lost in thought over whatever the Paranormal Liberation Front is up to.
The song winds down with the interns at Endeavor's agency taking a much-needed break, having snacks and drinks atop the building's roof together. Rebecca lovingly leans against Izuku's shoulder, while Homura winds up holding hands with Shoto as they stare at the sunset together. Katsuki scoffs and trudges away, but not before taking one last glance at Rebecca and letting off the tiniest of smiles.
END OPENING
"Who wears a cape for a stealth mission, moron?!" a disgruntled Katsuki yelled, using the stylus Izuku Midoriya had to cross out the costume design his rival had been making.
"My cape!" he gasped out. Meanwhile, Shoto, Homura and Rebecca watched on blankly at their bickering classmates. Along with getting the chance to work as heroes overseas, they'd be getting themselves brand new costumes for stealth-based operations. So for the moment, the five of them were busy coming up with designs for their stealth suits.
"Hmm…" Homura hummed as she stared at her tablet, unsure of what to come up with for a design.
"You could just make your costume black," Shoto suggested, getting her attention.
"Perhaps…" she replied, "But I do wish to move around as freely as possible with it," she pointed out, "And I also wish to still honor Valkyrie," she mentioned with a smile.
"You will, don't worry," her boyfriend assured, kissing her on the cheek as she giggled a little.
"Aw, you guys are so adorable…" Rebecca gushed. Behind her, Katsuki gagged.
"Aren't you idiots not supposed to be getting all lovey-dovey when we're on the job…?!" he growled in question.
"Jealous much?" the Cat Leaper Quirk user retorted in question.
"We should try to focus," Izuku advised, getting their attentions, "We don't wanna keep Endeavor waiting," he pointed out.
"That's true," his girlfriend agreed, letting out a giggle. Katsuki looked back at them for a moment before glancing at the designs for his suit upon his tablet.
"I'm done," he confirmed to everyone's surprise, "You lovebirds don't go taking too long, got it?" he muttered as he trudged out of the room.
"Huh…" Rebecca sighed, "I feel like he's only changed so much since what happened over the summer," she admitted, continuing to sketch up her stealth costume design upon her tablet.
"It's never easy to talk with him," Izuku confessed in agreement, "But… talking to him at all is actually pretty incredible when you think about it," he mentioned to her surprise, "He would always cause us trouble back in middle school, looking down on us and mocking us…" he recalled.
"Izu…" the Cat Leaper Quirk user uttered worriedly.
"But now he's learned to acknowledge that we're on his level," her boyfriend noted, "We all are," he added to Shoto and Homura, making them perk up in surprise.
"I guess when you really think about it…" the Half-Cold, Half-Hot Quirk user began, "Bakugo's one of the few that's really changed from the start of our first year at UA," he pointed out.
"I agree," his girlfriend concurred, "To be perfectly honest, I admire how driven he always is to victory," she admitted.
"You know… I do, too," Rebecca agreed, "I just hope it doesn't get him killed one day…" she mumbled on. The Explosion Quirk user let out a sneeze from afar.
"Who the hell's talking about me?!" he yelled angrily in question. A few days passed before the quintet of Hero Course students returned to the World Heroes' Association center to receive their new costumes.
"This... is... AMAZING!" Izuku exclaimed as his eyes sparkled. His stealth suit was a black-and-green variation of his costume, with no other colors included except for the grey W.H.A. patches on the shoulders. His hood was no longer a mask, though it had green eyes and the rabbit-like protrusions.
"I gotta hand it to whoever worked on these..." Rebecca admitted, now dressed in a black-and-blue, skintight suit with a black flak jacket that included a hood shaped with protrusions shaped like cat ears. Her footwear was much smaller as well, having iron soles. "Although, I wish they kept my tail…" she confessed on as she glanced back at her posterior.
"These outfits are quite form-fitting," Homura pointed out, dressed in a black-and-red suit with swirl-like markings and sleeves similar to her original costume. Over the indument she wore, she had black tights with neoprene black boots. The W.H.A. patches were upon her shoulders as well. "I feel as if I can really move in it," she mentioned as she flexed her right leg. Shoto found himself staring for a moment before turning away with a blush upon his cheeks.
"Yeah..." he agreed, "They did a really good job," he noted. His costume was now long-sleeved with fingerless gloves, being a black-and-white variation of his original that included a hood of its own. Like his classmates, he also had the W.H.A. patches on his shoulders.
"Kacchan, yours looks really cool!" Izuku mentioned over to his rival, who was already dressed in his stealth suit that he designed, with flash grenade-like bracers and a hood added to what was like his winter costume, along with W.H.A. patches.
"Humph," he scoffed, "Of course it is, you damn nerd..." he muttered out.
"We had an American designer help us bring these suits of yours to life," one W.H.A. associate noted to the quintet, getting their attentions, "As it turned out, she was already familiar with your costumes, so we were able to get them pretty quickly," he pointed out to their surprise.
"Wait..." Rebecca uttered, "You don't think that..." she started to assume. Izuku chuckled.
"Guess Melissa's still working hard herself for heroes around the world," he realized.
"And we'll be ready to work hard, too," Shoto added firmly, earning a nod from Homura.
"Yeah!" Rebecca agreed with a pump of her fists, while Katsuki huffed. The five of them were prepared to embark on their overseas mission. But little did they realize that they'd be involved in a greater plot meant to throw the world into chaos...

"Aw… no fair…!" Mina complained later that evening back at the dorms, gathered in the common room with her fellow female classmates, "Pretty much all of you get to go out and do whatever in another country!" she pointed out.
"Hey, I'm stuck with you…" Toru chimed in bluntly, "It's Mister Musha's fault for not joining in on the World Heroes' Association's mission…" she grumbled.
"Now, now…" Momo chimed in pleadingly, holding her hands out, "There's plenty for you to do while here at school," she noted to them.
"Aoyama, Koda and Iida are staying behind, too," Tsuyu mentioned with her right pointer finger upon her cheek, "And there are probably a couple of Class B students staying at school, too," she added.
"Great…" Mina groaned out.
"So which countries are you guys going to, anyway?" Toru asked curiously.
"I'll be heading to Korea with Tokage and Rutherford's brother," Momo confirmed in reply.
"Wait… Kris?!" Rebecca yelped out, "He's doing a work study with you and Setsuna?!" she inquired in shock.
"Yes, he is," the Creation Quirk user responded with a nod, "Well… I should say that Tokage brought him along without much argument…" she corrected.
"Those two did seem like an item…" Kyoka commented.
"Me, Tsu and Kleene are going to France," Ochaco mentioned, "If we get the chance, we'll bring back some awesome souvenirs!" she promised of her friends.
"I'm just stuck to working in Japan, apparently," the Earphone Jack Quirk user chimed in as she leaned back in her seat, "I would've liked to head overseas somewhere…" she admitted, turning to look over at Rebecca, "What about you and Kogetsu?" she asked.
"Otheon, a small country in Europe," the Cat Leaper Quirk user confirmed, "Endeavor said it's a hotspot for where the villain group we're up against is," she mentioned on.
"It's a worldwide villain group?" Toru inquired.
"More accurately, a terrorist organization," Momo replied in correction, "They call themselves Humarise," she told her classmates, "And their leader, Flect Turn, has led them to believe in the Quirk Doomsday Theory," she mentioned.
"I remember hearing of such a thing…" Homura chimed in.
"Really? When?" Mina questioned.
"It was brought up when I had observed Shoto and Bakugo's extra lessons the first time," the Soul Blade Quirk user answered, "It's said that as powers mix and evolve over time, they'll become impossible to control," she pointed out.
"Exactly," Momo confirmed, "But it's only an unproven theory," she noted to her classmates, "However, Humarise is using that as justification to carry out their terrorism against the greater population," she told them. At that moment, Rebecca felt a buzz in her pocket. She reached into it to pull out her phone, seeing the notification upon it.
Izu: Hey, can we talk for a bit?
"Huh?" the Cat Leaper Quirk user uttered in confusion upon seeing the message.
"What's up?" Kyoka asked upon overhearing.
"Uh, I gotta go see Izu for a bit, I think…" Rebecca replied, pocketing her phone before heading off. Mina glanced over curiously.
"Huh…" she sighed, "I know for a fact that it's just another one of those little pep talks before the big mission and not some romantic times…" she grumbled out.
"Ashido, come on…" Kyoka said in annoyance, "It's not like any of us are in that serious of a relationship," she pointed out, "Hell, I doubt any of us have had sex, either…" she mentioned. As if on cue, Homura suddenly spat out the tea she had been drinking, much to everyone's surprise.
"Wh-What the heck?!" Toru stammered out, seeing the Soul Blade Quirk user cough to try and regain her breath.
"Wait…" Mina uttered, widening her eyes, "Homura… did you and Todoroki…?" she started to ask, noticing the bright red blush upon her classmate's face. Meanwhile, Rebecca opened the door to her boyfriend's room, seeing him sitting upon his bed.
"Oh, hey," he greeted. Sighing, his girlfriend went over and plopped herself down next to him.
"Next time, don't send me something so cryptic…" she advised, folding her arms underneath her chest.
"Yeah, sorry…" Izuku apologized, sheepishly rubbing the back of his head, "I wanted to talk about something in regard to our trip," he told her.
"Well, I'm sure we're gonna be busy, even if we're just students being brought along as support," Rebecca noted, "Plus, there's always a chance we end up on the front lines," she mentioned.
"Uh… that wasn't what I was going to tell you about…" her boyfriend said, causing her to blink in surprise.
"Then… what is it?" she asked, arching an eyebrow. Reaching his right hand over to take hold of her left, Izuku gave her a soft smile.
"Rebecca… I want to… um…" he tried to say, blushing a bright red, "I want to have… sex with you," he confessed. The whole world around the Cat Leaper Quirk user stopped. For a moment, she thought she was dreaming. She raised her right hand… and smacked herself in the face. "Ah!" her boyfriend yelped out, "Wh-Why did you do that?!" he questioned with a stutter.
"Because I didn't think you'd ever tell me something like that!" Rebecca responded emphatically, only to blink in realization, "This… isn't a dream…" she said, starting to blush, "Y…You really want to…" she stammered on.
"Yeah…" her boyfriend confirmed before she could finish, "I don't know if it's because of Todoroki and Kogetsu or how things have building up between us…" he admitted on as he caressed her hand he was holding gently, "But I do know… that I really love you, Rebecca," he affirmed. The Cat Leaper Quirk user blushed a bright red.
"So… wh-why not do it… here or something?" she questioned with a stutter.
"Well… I don't wanna risk us making too much noise in the dorms by accident…" Izuku replied, rubbing the back of his neck, "Plus, Mineta could be a problem…" he mentioned.
"Yeah, good point…" his girlfriend agreed with a sigh, "But I doubt we're gonna have time to ourselves…" she pointed out.
"Well, if we do…" the One For All inheritor began, giving off a little smile, "we'll take advantage of it," he declared, "We always do take advantage of the chances we're given, don't we?" he remarked in question, earning a giggle from Rebecca.
"I guess…" she concurred, "Um… you do have protection and stuff for all that, right?" she inquired nervously.
"Oh, yeah!" her boyfriend immediately assured, "I've been doing research in my spare time, too," he added. A look of pure shock and disgust crossed the Cat Leaper Quirk user's face. "N-Not like that!" he stammered out, holding his hands up, "I just… wanna make sure you feel good whenever we… well, do it…" he noted, now blushing himself. Rebecca exhaled a laugh.
"Thanks, Izu," she said gratefully, leaning over to kiss his forehead, "Don't stress about it, though," she insisted, "We'll see what happens," she affirmed as she stood up.
"Uh, right…" her boyfriend agreed with a smile, watching as she headed off to get ready for bed. A few days had passed before they were at the airport with Shoto, Homura, Katsuki, and Endeavor, ready to head off to Otheon. Izuku was very nervous about the ordeal over being excited, especially since going to a foreign country meant having to know another language, or at least be efficient enough to communicate with others. He essentially had to swallow his fears like Shoto suggested, while Katsuki was swallowing his explosions...
"Do you have to do that...?" Rebecca wondered aloud, sitting right next to him on the bench.
"Shut it, you cat ditz!" he shouted, making her flinch as she shivered in surprise, followed by glaring at him, "We're going on a damn mission abroad, a place completely different from Japan!" he pointed out seriously, "I'm concentrating so I can perform at my best!" he declared firmly.
"He makes a good point," Homura noted, "From the stories my master had told me, she hardly went overseas for missions," she recalled, "Considering this is a serious ordeal, I share Bakugo's sentiments…" she admitted, exhaling a shaky breath. Luckily for her, Shoto went over and took her left hand into his right.
"I'm sure it'll be alright as long as we're together," he affirmed confidently. His girlfriend smiled.
"Indeed," she agreed.
"Tsk..." Katsuki scoffed, "Of course I gotta deal with two sets of damn lovebirds on top of that…" he mumbled out.
"Kacchan, come on…" Izuku groaned.
"We're allowed to be in relationships!" Rebecca pointed out, "If you wanna get a girlfriend for yourself, you can try…" she mentioned in annoyance.
"Huh?!" the Explosion Quirk user exclaimed angrily, "What makes you think I want a damn girlfriend?!" he questioned, gritting his teeth.
"Is it possible that you aren't attracted to girls then?" Homura assumed curiously.
"How the hell did you come to come that conclusion?!" Katsuki roared out in response as a blush streaked across his cheeks, "I don't wanna get involved with anyone right now!" he declared, "Sheesh…" he grumbled, "You do your own damn things…" he advised, slouching in his seat.
"Ten-four, Explosion Boy…" Rebecca remarked back, exhaling a sigh, "This does feel like a lot of pressure on us, doesn't it?" she inquired of her boyfriend.
"Yeah," he agreed in reply, "And dealing with it's pretty hard, too," he added.
"Well, everyone's got their own ways of dealing with pressure," another voice chimed in, getting their attentions as they glanced over to see Hawks coming over, dressed in a brown jacket with shades as Fumikage and Shiki stood alongside him, "Some get nervous, some get amped," he pointed out, "Guess Bakugo here must be the latter," he concluded.
"Oh, Hawks! Tokoyami!" Izuku exclaimed in greeting with a wave.
"Hey Shiki!" Rebecca greeted, "How's it going?" she asked of him.
"Great!" he responded, adjusting his hoodie, "We're about to get on our flight to the US!" he pointed out.
"You're going to America?" Shoto inquired as he approached alongside Homura.
"Yes," Fumikage confirmed, "Apparently, the country's been put into a state of panic since Humarise's first actions," he told the group, "Hawks' agency was one of the first requested to assist," he mentioned.
"It's a big country, after all," the Fierce Wings Quirk user noted, "We'll be taking on a lot of responsibility," he added with a grin.
"And we're gonna get to see all sorts of cool stuff there, too!" Shiki mentioned excitedly, "I really, really wanna check out an American football game!" he declared with sparkling eyes.
"Don't forget, you're not going to be having fun and lollygagging," Endeavor chimed in, getting their attentions, "There's a serious threat looming among us, so you can't be getting distracted," he advised seriously.
"Oh, lighten up, Endeavor," Hawks insisted with a shrug of his shoulders, "We'll have this job done in a jiff and spare some time for ourselves," he assured, "Bet Shomura would want that, right?" he presumed, glancing over to Shoto and Homura as they blinked in surprise.
"I-I suppose…" the latter stuttered in response, while her boyfriend glanced away as his cheeks turned a little red.
"Best of luck to you wherever you're heading," the Wing Hero remarked to those under Endeavor.
"You too, Hawks!" Izuku replied with a smile.
"What?! Hawks?!" one person in the airport terminal yelped out of surprise.
"He's here?!" another girl questioned aloud. All of a sudden, a crowd started building, charging towards the Wing Hero and his work study students.
"Whoa!" Rebecca yelped out in surprise.
"I knew he had many fans, but still…" Homura noted aloud. The Wing Hero trudged out in front of the group.
"Hey, calm down my little chicks!" he pleaded nonchalantly with a smile, "Can't make a ruckus at the airport, can we?" he inquired. Unfortunately, he was caught by his rabid fans, along with Fumikage and Shiki.
"Sorry..." Izuku mumbled apologetically as he put his hands over his mouth, quite ashamed he had just given away Hawks' location and thus, let him and his students get almost trampled.
"Yikes…" Rebecca uttered with a wince.
"Tch," Endeavor scoffed, "That's what he gets for being so casual with people," he noted as he took hold of his suitcase, "Alright, let's go," he advised of his students, walking off toward the boarding gate.
"Hey, old man," Shoto chimed in, getting his father's attention, "How come I have to sit next to you?" he asked, showing his ticket. As it turned out, he'd be sitting alongside Enji with his girlfriend, while Izuku, Katsuki and Rebecca shared a row.
"Uh, Todoroki..." the One For All inheritor uttered out nervously.
"You still think we're friends, you idiot?!" the Explosion Quirk user questioned angrily.
"Let me and Homura sit with Bakugo instead," Shoto insisted of the Flame Hero.
"C-Come on…" he stuttered out with a serious expression, "It's not going to kill you…" he noted.
'How can he say something like that with that face?!' Rebecca wondered.
"I want to sit with my friends…" Shoto declared firmly.
'And you can tell Shoto's the youngest since he's not backing down on this!' Izuku added inwardly as he started to panic.
"Do you idiots really think we're friends just 'cause you wanna sit next to me?!" Katsuki shouted in question.
"Um… perhaps we can change tickets and then…"
"No!" Endeavor exclaimed, interjecting Homura's suggestion as he turned away. From there, it was a chaotic rush of stress as the group argued about their seating arrangements. Fortunately, the argument was brought to a swift end by Hawks, who used his feathers to grab the plane tickets. He sorted things out so that it would be Izuku, Shoto, and Homura in one row, and Katsuki, Enji, and Rebecca in the other.
"Mmm…" the Cat Leaper Quirk user moaned quietly in frustration.
"I do apologize, Rebecca…" Homura said, getting her attention, "I assume Hawks understood that Bakugo didn't want to sit with either of us as couples…" she pointed out.
"It's okay…" the Cat Leaper Quirk user assured, "At least Izu's right behind me at the window seat," she noted with a smile.
"It's almost time for our flight!" Shiki noted as he ventured over alongside Fumikage.
"Yeah," Hawks responded with a nod, "Good luck out there, everyone," he remarked to his colleagues... right before his fans mobbed him again along with his work study students.
"Oh man…" Izuku uttered out.
"Leave it to the man too fast to get caught twice…" Rebecca remarked, letting out a chuckle. Moments later, she and her friends had boarded the plane set to take off. Taking her seat and buckling herself in, she looked out the window, ready for whatever she was about to take part in.
'I wonder… what's Otheon gonna be like?' she asked herself, exhaling a yawn as she started to close her eyes, ready to nod off and have plenty of rest before arriving.
Walking along the stone streets of the European country was a young man with spiky brown hair, gray eyes and sun-kissed skin. He wore a red bandanna and a pair of sunglasses on his head. He also wore a pale blue, button-up shirt with a number of patches, a tan-beige jacket with an orange flower, a pair of gray gloves and a blue-and-red-striped tie. He also bore a pair of black pants that stopped above his ankles with patches on the knees. He had a pair of dark brown shoes with gray cloth wrapped around them.
Perched on his left shoulder was a small, bird-like creature with pink feathers, having a blue mask similar to the young man's bandana. She had a puffy, round tail and three curved feathers atop her head. The two of them overheard a plane soaring overhead, glancing up to see it fly by.
"So noisy..." the young man muttered, while the bird stared up at it wonder.

Opens with Homura waking up and preparing for the day, getting dressed in her school uniform before lying on her knees in front of her memorial to Valkyrie, offering a prayer before she heads off. As she gathers in the dorm common room with her classmates, she sees Shoto and smiles, walking off with him. She breathes out a puff of cold air, looking up at the partly cloudy winter sky.
Later, we see her at the Endeavor Agency, practicing with her energy blades against the fiery ones Burnin creates with her Quirk, all while the Flame Hero watches. As Homura's exhaustion catches up with her, Endeavor offers her a cup of tea to ease her. She accepts it, sipping it gratefully. We transition to her as a child, sitting on the porch of her old home with Valkyrie, as they smile at each other.
Being taught for years how to fight with Soul Blade, Homura never knew her teacher was actually an android. But that didn't matter to her either way, as she appreciated what Valkyrie had done for her. We cut to when the police showed up at her home one evening, with Naomasa telling her the unfortunate news of Valkyrie's death. We see the lifeless body of the Shining Star Hero, having many scarlet burns along her body, with a missing right arm and half of her face gone, revealing her robotic appearance underneath.
Back in the present, we see Homura still mourning over her teacher to this day. Things have only been harder after discovering that she was a machine all this time. She starts to tear up a little, but then suddenly has a hand come onto her back. She looks to her right to see a smiling Rebecca there, followed by turning to her left to find Izuku and Katsuki there, with the former flashing a kind grin.
A hand then extends for the Soul Blade Quirk user as she looks to see Shoto standing in front of her. She gratefully accepts it as tears prick her eyes. They walk off together, with Homura starting to lean against Shoto in the process…

And there you have it! The Season 5 adaptation is finally done! I'm not going to be putting up a trailer preview for the World Heroes' Mission Arc or Season 6 because honestly, I don't see how that helps anyone looking forward to it. I'd rather not keep you lying in wait on either arc, because I'm really excited to be getting to them eventually.
