Things are kicking into high gear with "Through the Rough"! As of this time, Season 6 of My Hero Academia is in full swing! And hopefully, Season 2 of Edens Zero is awesome as well!

And now we're getting to the point of this story where the action really gets going. The last time we left off, Mirio had to deal with three Hassakai members, including Overhaul, all by himself! He's up against the wall in a seemingly losing battle, but he's held out long enough for help to arrive! Will the heroes turn the tide?!

Let's find out!

THROUGH THE ROUGH

THREE MINUTES EARLIER

"So this is where Chisaki and anyone else would've escaped?" Rebecca inquired as she, Izuku and Kris stood outside a doorway leading to a set of stairs.

"Yeah," the Wind Rage Quirk user answered with a nod, "If there was to be an attack, Overhaul would venture here with Eri and make his escape," he told them, "Doesn't seem like anyone's come around here yet though…" he noted, narrowing his eyes.

"Then that must mean he's held up, probably by Lemillion and the others," the One For All inheritor presumed, earning a nod of agreement from his girlfriend.

"Kris, would you know where he'd probably be coming from?" she asked of the Wind Rage Quirk user.

"I'd say down that hall," he replied, pointing toward the passage where some thudding echoed.

"Sounds about right…" Rebecca noted, clenching her fists, "Let's go!" she called out, hurrying off with her boyfriend and Kris in tow. The freckled teen looked over to their former foe as they ran down the hall.

"Um… Rutherford…" he started to say.

"Call me Jinn," the Wind Rage Quirk user requested to his surprise, "It was meant to be my hero name in the first place… before everything that happened…" he mentioned.

"Your sister's really important to you, isn't she?" Izuku assumed, causing him to perk up, "That's why you didn't want to fight her at first, right?" he guessed on. Kris lowered his gaze slightly.

"Whatever happened between you guys, you're still family," Rebecca assured, getting his attention as he saw her smile, "And you can bet that I'll give you a second chance like she is," she affirmed.

"Me too," her boyfriend chimed in. Hearing them, the Wind Rage Quirk user was a little stunned. However, he gave off a little grin.

"Thank you," he said with gratitude. As they hurried down the hall, they took notice of something ahead. It was Nighteye, who came out alongside Ivry, Shota Rock Lock, Eraser, Mosco, and the police.

"Deku! Miss Aoneko!" he called out.

"Nighteye!" Izuku and Rebecca exclaimed with relieved smiles. However, the police then aimed their guns towards Kris.

"Hands in the air, Rutherford!" the chief commanded, enticing the Wind Rage Quirk user to screech to a halt.

"Whoa, wait a sec!" the Cat Leaper Quirk user exclaimed, holding her hands out, "He's not our enemy anymore!" she assured.

"Hell's that supposed to mean?!" Rock Lock inquired as he took a ready stance.

"What happened to you when we were separated?" Nighteye inquired in a calmer tone, trying to diffuse the situation.

"Well, we ended up finding those kidnapped victims," Izuku answered, "We also had to deal with the guy who paid Rogue Out to go after them along with Jinn," he mentioned, looking back at the Wind Rage Quirk user.

"Luckily, we took him down, and Sylph stopped her brother," Rebecca told the group.

"So where is she now?" Ivry asked, arching an eyebrow.

"Leading those girls back up top," Izuku replied.

"Jinn said he'd help us get to Chisaki," his girlfriend added, keeping her hands raised, "He's not a threat anymore," she assured. There was a long moment of silence amongst the group. No one knew what would come next from this. And then, Nighteye exhaled a sigh.

"Rock Lock," he began, getting the Lockdown Quirk user's attention, "take the police and go make sure Sylph and those girls make it to the surface," he advised to his shock, "We can handle things from here," he affirmed.

"We can also apprehend Rogue Out's buyer," an officer pointed out.

"Yeah, but what about him?" another asked as he looked over to Kris, "We can't just leave him behind…" he noted in a whisper.

"Oh, good grief…" Eraser muttered out, "If I remember right, Rutherford's Quirk would be quite useful in this situation…" he told the group, stepping forward, "It'd be a waste to arrest him on the spot when he's willing to help us…" he pointed out.

"He can start by taking out the last of the bad guys with us, at least…" Ivry grumbled, folding her arms over her chest.

"Moscoy," Mosco huffed in agreement, crossing his arms as well.

"Do you two vouch for him?" Shota asked of his students. They looked to each and nodded.

"Yeah, for sure," Izuku answered. The Erasure Quirk user narrowed his eyes under his goggles. With knowledge that the League was involved in this whole ordeal, he had made expectations for his students clear. But with that said… everyone was still fighting to save Eri. Taking his students out now would just hinder the mission.

"Tch…" Rock Lock grumbled, "Quit standing around and get a move on!" he insisted of his colleagues, "We'll take care of those girls up top," he promised, "Let's go!" he called out to the officers, enticing them to follow him after a moment, with them all passing by a surprised Kris.

"Well, that's our cue," Ivry concluded with a shrug, "Where to, Nighteye?" she asked of the Foresight Quirk user.

"We're heading down this hallway," he answered, hurrying on ahead. The others followed, determined to see things through and to save Eri.

'Everyone…' Rebecca uttered inwardly, thinking of all the efforts that her comrades had put into this endeavor, 'we won't let what you've done for us go to waste!' she promised to herself as her boyfriend lunged out, smashing through the wall ahead with his right foot, 'We're going to save Eri!' she declared through her thoughts.

END OPENING

The walls bursting open on opposite sides shocked Overhaul. On one side came Tamaki and Holy. And on the other, Izuku, Rebecca, and Kris led the others inside the sealed-off area. The One For All inheritor was the first to attack, landing a punch that struck his foe's left bicep, sending him flying back.

"Wind God Punch!" the Wind Rage Quirk user roared, shooting his left fist out to slam into the gut of the Shie Hassaikai leader, sending him crashing into the wall in a flurry of dust.

"There, he's down!" Rebecca called out as the others made their way inside.

"Nighteye, secure those who've been injured!" Shota advised, glaring ahead at Kai as he was struggling to get back onto his feet. The Foresight Quirk user looked out in awe to find that two of the Shie Hassaikai leader's inner circle were down, and that the man himself was seemingly on his last legs.

'Mirio…!' Nighteye exclaimed inwardly, seeing his protégé stagger forward.

"Eri's… right behind me…" he said weakly, about to topple over. His mentor caught him though, also wrapping his left arm around the little girl protectively.

"You did amazing, Mirio…" he told the now Quirkless senior, "Thank you…" he added gratefully.

"Time for us to finish what Lemillion started!" Ivry declared, readying her whip.

"Render him unconscious by whatever means necessary!" Holy called out from afar as she hurried over with Tamaki, "We can end this in one fell swoop!" she affirmed.

"Right!" everyone else agreed. Overhaul was desperately palming at the ground, trying to use his Quirk. With Shota having nullified his power, he was a sitting duck. Hari and Shin were still knocked out, and it didn't look like anyone was going to be coming to his aid anytime soon.

'Is this really it…?!' he wondered inwardly, 'After everything I worked for, is this how it all ends?!' he inquired on through his thoughts. At that very moment, the ceiling collapsed. Everyone widened their eyes, flinching from the sunlight above as a figure came down aboard a winged creature. Nighteye was stunned.

"No… it couldn't be…" he uttered out. The golden, draconic creature looming overhead roared, making everyone cover their eyes reflexively. Hoping down from it was a familiar figure. She was a tall, blue-skinned woman with a voluptuous body, long claws and white hair, and the top of her face was covered by a triclop eye mask with green lenses and a pointy dark hood. She wore a flowing long dark dress that had a cleavage window with a large poofy high collar and a symbol of a dragon skull with large horns at the front.

"God… Acnoella…" Eraser said with disbelief in his voice. Everyone was stunned.

'That's God Acnoella?! One of the Oracion Seis?!' Rebecca inquired inwardly.

'What in the world is she doing here?!' Izuku wondered through his thoughts, gritting his teeth with panic.

'Wait…' Holy uttered as she slowly widened her eyes, 'then what happened up top?!' she inquired to herself in panic.

TWO MINUTES EARLIER

"Okay, area's all cleared!" Nejire confirmed as she floated down to meet with Ryukyu, Feather, Ochaco, and Tsuyu.

"Good," the Dragoon Hero said with a nod, "Now we need to be ready for when the cave-in happens," she told the girls, who nodded in agreement.

"Come to think of it, would you know how it happens, Miss Feather?" the Frog Quirk user asked of the I.U.A. Hero. She shook her head.

"My Eye of Venus can't discern everything at once," she confirmed, "One of its limitations is seeing things from a tight perspective based upon when and where I am," she explained.

"Like with Nighteye…" Ochaco noted, earning a nod from Feather.

"I would guess Chisaki's the one who'll cause the cave-in," Ryukyu inferred, narrowing her eyes, "Either way, we need to be ready," she insisted.

"Right!" her work study students agreed. However, Feather suddenly blinked in surprise as her white energy lines reappeared upon her face.

"Feather, what is it?" the Dragoon Hero asked, noticing her expression.

"Wait, what's that?" Nejire chimed in, getting their attentions as they saw her pointing toward something coming from the sky above. Her mentor narrowed her eyes before widening them with horror.

"No…" she uttered out in panic, "We have to run!" she yelled to the others.

"Wh-Why?!" Ochaco stammered out, "Is it backup for the Hassaikai or something?!" she presumed.

"No… it's far worse…" Feather confirmed, grimacing herself to everyone's surprise, "It's one of the Oracion Seis!" she exclaimed.

"What?!" Tsuyu croaked out in disbelief. Aboard her draconic creature, Acnoella looked down curiously at the neighborhood below. Her visor focused upon the intersection where the police and the heroes were gathered.

"Shall we get started, Viernes?" she inquired of the creature she stood aboard. It opened its mouth, with a bright, sun-like light charging inside of it. Below, Ryukyu quickly took on her draconic form.

"Everyone, get back!" she yelled.

"Golden Nova," Acnoella uttered. The draconic creature fired off a powerful ray of golden light, tearing through the street. Those below had to dive out of the way quickly, narrowly evading the beam as it seared by them. The Dragoon Hero looked out and grimaced to see the Oracion Seis member and her creature land atop the intersection hard. Cracks spread and widened before it completely collapsed, leaving a huge hole in the street as the new arrivals descended into it.

"What did you do to Ryukyu and the others?!" Shota asked demandingly of Acnoella as she stepped forward from Viernes.

"They're alive," she assured as an answer, "Although, I doubt they'll be coming down here any time soon," she affirmed, "I've already made a friend to deal with them…" she pointed out. Up upon the street, the heroes and police widened their eyes in disbelief to find themselves faced with a large four-legged beast, whose body was covered in silver, iron scales. The scales themselves gave it the impression of being covered in armor, as from its neck below to its sternum, as well as on its shoulders, forearms, knees, shins, claws and thighs, the scales were plated. In the areas between, the plating disappeared and instead gave way to cross-hatched scales that resembled chain mail.

Its head was almost square in shape and its lower jaw had the appearance of being hinged. Its eyes were beady and circular with no pupils and black sclera; around its eyes were small black markings which continued around the back of its neck. Also, its wings did not retract nor fold; instead they jutted out and were also metallic, save for where the feathers or patagium would be, which were instead a black, downy substance that jutted out like normal feathers would. It also had a tail that was plated like much of its body that fashioned an intricately pointed tip. Running down his spine, the creature had spiked metal plates.

"That's… Acnoella's Quirk?!" Ochaco inquired out of complete shock.

"Yes…" Feather responded, while Ryukyu growled in her draconic form, "That Quirk itself has made her one of the most dangerous villains in existence…" she pointed out. The iron creature before them roared, charging towards its foes. The Dragoon Hero stopped it, gritting her teeth.

'Ryuga… why are you here?!' she wondered inwardly. Back in the illuminated room, Acnoella looked around before spotting Eri in Nighteye's arms.

"Ah, so that's the one Nox is after, hm?" she presumed. Everyone perked up in surprise.

'As in Saintfire Nox?' Eraser assumed through his thoughts, grimacing a little.

'Don't tell me they're working together…' Holy inferred to herself.

"So another of the Seis is after Eri…?" Overhaul grunted out in question, staggering to his feet as Acnoella looked over to him, "I'm getting real sick of you all…" he grumbled in frustration, wiping his dirtied face.

"Oh, calm yourself…" the Oracion Seis member advised in response, "I'm not here for the girl," she pointed out, "I'm merely here to wipe out any hope of your plan coming to fruition," she declared, planting her right hand against the ground as she crouched down.

"Not so fast!" Shota yelled, glaring at her as his eyes flashed red. However, Acnoella cracked a grin.

"You're a little late, Eraser Head," she noted. All of a sudden, the ground started to rumble and swell. "My Quirk works instantaneously on anything, except for animals like ourselves," she explained, "And depending upon the connecting surface area…" she continued as something rose up behind her in a flurry of dust, "my darling children can be quite large…" she pointed out. Everyone was in utter disbelief.

Another draconic creature had been formed, made of stone and earth as it loomed over the group with a towering presence. With column-like horns, a jawline that had a pointed edge, and wings formed from rock, it roared out. Its creator grinned.

"I'd like to introduce you to Dogramag," she said, gesturing toward her newest creation, "With Viernes and Metalicana in play, that makes three…" she confirmed.

God Acnoella! Quirk: Dragonization!

She can turn any form of non-living matter like iron, rock, or even gold and form them into massive beasts to her liking! The size and power of these beasts depends on how much of a certain element is implemented, along with the types of abilities they'll have. On top of that, Acnoella can only have three dragons formed at a time!

"Oh man…!" Rebecca exclaimed, trembling with fright. The situation had turned entirely on its head. Now instead of a seemingly guaranteed victory, Acnoella's arrival had made things all the more complicated. As for Overhaul, he was trembling with anger and frustration. His plans were being brought down all around him by heroes and villains. He was getting tired of it. In a growl, he palmed the ground, reassembling it to have spikes shoot out. The Oracion Seis member leapt aboard Viernes to evade them, letting Dogramag take the spikes in defense. The other heroes in the room hurried away to dodge the spikes.

'This is becoming way too severe…!' Holy noted to herself as she grimaced, 'We need to make sure that Eri's safe at the very least!' she insisted inwardly.

"Nighteye!" she called out, getting the Foresight Quirk user's attention, "Have Deku and Miss Aoneko help get Eri and Lemillion up to the surface!" she instructed, "The rest of us'll deal with Acnoella and Chisaki!" she decided, melting some of the spikes that came her way.

"So you're using that trick, Holy?" Eraser inquired, making his markings appear along his face as his hair glowed white, "I guess I can't blame you for being cautious…" he admitted, swiping his arm across to make a white flash of light wash over several spikes, eradicating them instantaneously. However, Overhaul didn't relent. With the spikes he was forming, he was blocking off Shota's eyes on him. Izuku took notice, also seeing both Hari and Shin get propelled over, landing down beside their leader. The former groaned as he pushed himself up.

"Sorry… Overhaul…" he apologized through a grunt, "I think I'm at the end of my rope…" he admitted ashamedly.

"Don't you worry…" the Shie Hassaikai leader responded, reaching down to grab both him and Shin by their masked faces, "I know how much you want me to succeed…" he affirmed, starting to disassemble both of them as their bodies swelled, "so you'll happily give your lives up for the cause!" he affirmed on. Instantaneously, both men's bodies exploded, followed by Overhaul disassembling himself.

"Wh…What is he doing?!" Rebecca stammered in question as her eyes shook. The Shie Hassaikai leader reassembled himself, now taking on a new appearance. He now had two additional pairs of arms deformed with spiked claws and black parts of Shin's cape. His hair got spikier with needle-like strands of hair on opposite sides of his head, and his mask ripped apart, seeming to be fused onto his face, which was also covered in black fabric.

"I'll be a good sport and admit you were stronger than me, Lemillion," he confessed, getting the Permeation Quirk user's attention as he peeked out to see the Shie Hassaikai leader's fused form, "Everything up until now, you've had me beat…" he admitted on, "But that said…" he continued, "I'm not going to lose here!" he declared, "I'll have you return Eri to me!" he proclaimed fiercely.

X

"My… what a disgusting appearance…" Acnoella commented, "Quite unfitting for a yakuza, don't you think?" she remarked in question. At that very moment, the right wing of Viernes started melting, much to her surprise. A smirking Holy was holding her right hand out toward it as her purple markings glowed.

"You should be paying more attention, Acnoella!" she yelled, "You have two members of the Interstellar Union Agency here facing you, along with many other heroes!" she pointed out as her golden markings appeared, along with her hair glowing gold, "Jewel Barrage!" she exclaimed, unleashing a flurry of small bursts of light from her left hand, heading towards the Oracion Seis member. She cracked her own smirk.

"Oh, I haven't forgotten…" she affirmed as Dogramag stepped out in front her, taking the blasts harmlessly to its body, "It's just that you're not worth my time…" she stated, making Holy grimace. At that, Eraser swiped his right hand out, eradicating both of the rocky draconic creature's right legs in a flash of white light. It toppled over onto its side in a flurry of dust.

"The bigger they are, the harder they fall, right?" he remarked in question, with his hair flashing between white and black as he sweated.

'I'm starting to hit my limits…' he noted to himself with a grimace, 'If we don't stop Acnoella's dragons soon…' he continued inwardly as both created creatures still looked ready to fight in spite of their hindrances, 'we're going to be in much worse shape than before…' he pointed out through his thoughts.

"Damn…" Ivry cursed beside Mosco, "We got totally cut off here…" she said, as the created spikes from Overhaul had sealed off the room completely, save for the ceiling, "Hey, you brats still alive over there?!" she called out in question.

"Yeah, we're here!" Izuku responded, being alongside Rebecca, Kris, Nighteye, Eri, Mirio, Tamaki and Pino.

"I don't see Eraser Head though…" his girlfriend pointed out as she looked around.

'Chisaki must've realized the kind of threat he posed…' the Foresight Quirk user noted inwardly, 'Thanks to Acnoella, he was able to get the opening he needed…' he added to himself, grimacing with frustration.

"That was unpleasant and unnecessary…" Kai grumbled out, "But I feel much better now…" he admitted, looking over to the Oracion Seis member, "I assume you'll have your hands full with the IUA," he pointed out to her, getting her attention, "That leaves me with the other filth…" he concluded, turning his attention onto Izuku and the others, "You made the wrong choice to stand against me for Eri's sake, Lemillion…" he mentioned, "Now your Quirk is gone forever…" he stated. Hearing that made the One For All inheritor and his girlfriend widen their eyes.

"No… don't tell me…" the latter uttered out, looking back at the weakened U.A. senior.

'One of Chisaki's bullets… actually took his Quirk…?!' her boyfriend presumed through his thoughts.

"You could've lived on, chasing those pathetic dreams of yours…" Overhaul mentioned, picking up the box with the other bullets his group had managed to manufacture, "But instead you fought, even after your Quirk was gone," he continued, "So thanks to your heroics…" he kept going as he lunged forward, "your friends will die here along with you!" he declared as his lowest set of hands began tearing through the ground.

"WIND GOD PUNCH!" Kris roared, shooting his left fist out in a burst of air, striking the Shie Hassaikai leader squarely in his stomach as he gasped. He slid back several feet before bringing himself to a halt, growling angrily.

"Jinn…" he snarled, "So you've been infected with the idea of heroism, too?" he guessed as the Wind Rage Quirk user had his prosthetic arm return to him.

"No, I've always had that heroic sense in mind…" he admitted in response, thinking back to his troubled childhood. All he wanted to do was protect his sister, especially in the wake of her trauma. But after seeing her stand up to him in order to be a hero for others, now it was his turn. "Today, I'm being a hero to people who need help! To stop people like you!" he declared fiercely, "Let's go, everyone!" he insisted of his colleagues, dashing forward in an instant.

"R-Right!" Izuku stammered, making green sparks of bio-electricity crackle around his body as he rushed after his colleague.

"Izu…" Rebecca uttered.

"Miss Aoneko," Nighteye said, getting her attention, "I need you to escort Eri and Lemillion out of here," he advised, handing the Quirkless boy over to her, "Sister Ivry should be able to help you get through," he mentioned, "Have her heal up Lemillion so that he can at least walk," he instructed.

"O-Okay, got it…" the Cat Leaper Quirk user responded with a stutter, watching her mentor head off into the fray.

"Agh…" Mirio groaned out, causing her to look over at him worriedly. To think that with all of the effort he had put into saving Eri, it ended up with him losing his power. She put his left arm over her shoulders, carrying him off as best she could.

"Stick close to me, okay?" she requested of the horned girl beside her, giving her a little smile. Meanwhile, Overhaul attempted to swipe at the incoming Kris, only for him to fly away in a burst of wind. He then went through a plethora of hand signs before swinging his arms back.

"Skymech Ninjutsu Attack…" he began, "WINDSTORM SLASH!" he roared, unleashing a burst of wind in an x-shaped pattern as he threw his arms down. However, it was blocked off by an array of spikes that Kai formed in front of himself, shattering upon impact. He narrowed his eyes, seemingly unimpressed.

"Is that all you have to offer… Jinn?" he wondered aloud, making the Wind Rage Quirk user grimace.

"SSSMMMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Izuku bellowed as he charged in and landed a straight kick, which his opponent managed to catch in his lower left hand.

'Not good!' the One For All inheritor exclaimed inwardly, grimacing with fright. Fortunately, Overhaul had to toss him aside in order to evade the seals flung his way from Nighteye.

"Deku! Rutherford! Stand down!" he advised loudly, "I'll take care of him!" he insisted, "You help the others deal with Acnoella!" he instructed of them.

"Yes, sir!" Izuku responded, heading off with Kris to go after the draconic creatures the others were facing.

"Melty Kiss!" Holy exclaimed as a melting explosion erupted upon Viernes' body, causing it to fall onto the ground in a heap, "Huh…" the I.U.A. Hero exhaled, "That's one down," she affirmed, about to head over and assist in dealing with Dogramag.

"Are you certain of that, Holy?" Acnoella's voice inquired, getting her attention as she widened her eyes. The dust settled, revealing that the Oracion Seis member had her hand placed against her fallen dragon, reforming its body entirely. "Breaking down my precious children the way you do does kill them," she pointed out, "But so long as the elements that created them remain, I can easily rebuild their bodies," she told her foe, "Eraser's Quirk would be much more helpful," she mentioned to the chagrin of her opponent, "Though I doubt he'll be of much help soon…" she remarked. Hearing that, the Melt Quirk user widened her eyes.

"Ichiro!" she called out. Her fellow I.U.A. Hero found his hair turning back to normal as his markings disappeared, just as he aimed his arm out toward Dogramag.

'Already hit my limit, huh?' he presumed through his thoughts, cracking a grin, 'I even saved my time like Nighteye and Eraser Head suggested…' he mentioned to himself as the rocky dragon closed in on him. However, it was suddenly kicked aside by the iron-soled right foot of Izuku.

"Are you alright, Eraser?!" he immediately asked of the I.U.A. Hero.

"Thanks for the assist…" he said in gratitude as a response. Kris also joined in, landing a fierce punch to Dogramag's face, making it stumble back. With some of its limbs already lost, it was finding itself having trouble staying up. From afar, Acnoella frowned.

"I suppose even some heroes can cause my children trouble…" she admitted, starting to head over. However, she suddenly found herself ensnared by an array of tentacles. She gave off a disdainful look as she glanced toward Tamaki, whose eyes were veiled by his hood. "What do you think you're doing, boy?" she inquired of him. He lifted his head up, revealing the fierce glare in his gaze.

"I'm going to stop you!" he declared fiercely.

X

"Agh…" Eijiro groaned out as he slowly awoke, "Fat…?" he uttered, noticing the skinny form of the Fat Absorption Quirk user in his blurred vision.

"Hey, you're awake," he noted.

"That mean I can fight him now, fatso?" Kendo inquired from nearby.

"Knock it off…" Fat Gum retorted in response, "Red, can you move?" he questioned of the Hardening Quirk user, who sat up slowly.

"Yeah… just a little though…" he answered with a grimace, "What… happened to Miss Holy and Suneater?" he asked curiously, looking around.

"Those two went on ahead," Kendo responded. Eijiro blinked twice.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" he shrieked in shock, "That guy's still standing?!" he exclaimed out of disbelief.

"It's alright, Red," Fat Gum assured to his surprise, "He's not gonna do anything," he affirmed, "Anyways, yeah," he said, "Suneater and Holy went on ahead," he pointed out, "We're both in no shape to keep on going, so we're sticking it out here until backup comes to get us," he told his work study student.

"I see…" he replied, looking down in thought, "Hey… Fat?" he said, making his mentor perk up, "You think Suneater's gonna be alright on his own?" he inquired. With a blink of surprise, the Fat Absorption Quirk user cracked a grin.

"Yeah," he responded confidently, "When the chips are down…" he continued, "that guy's one of the strongest I know," he stated. Inside the widened room, the grip of Tamaki's tentacles tightened around Acnoella. She didn't seem to care much.

"You do realize you're challenging one of the Oracion Seis, don't you?" she questioned of her foe, who trembled slightly, "I suppose without my dragons, you must think I'm weak…" she presumed, readying her claws, "I can assure you, my Quirk isn't the only thing that made me the villain you fear…" she affirmed. She slashed at the tentacles binding her, making her foe grimace as his hold on her loosened.

"Suneater!" Holy cried out, seeing Acnoella leap away from his grasp. She landed on her feet, lunging toward him.

"Ah!" he gasped, quickly forming a clam shell at his left hand to defend himself from a slash by the Oracion Seis member's claws.

"So your body manifests characteristics of certain animals, it seems…" she noted aloud, getting his attention, "Perhaps it's what you eat…" she presumed, much to his surprise. He then had to lean back in order to avoid taking an uppercut slash that tore through his pouches. Food items scattered everywhere. "Seems I was right…" the white-haired villain presumed. Tamaki grimaced.

"Hold on, Suneater!" Holy called out, running over. However, Viernes suddenly landed down in front of her, letting out a piercing roar that made her flinch. She gnashed her teeth together, making her markings shine brightly. "GET OUT OF MY WAY!" she roared, unleashing a blast of golden light from her hands.

In the meantime, Izuku and Kris weaved around Dogramag as it flailed about wildly, rupturing the surface with each step it managed to take. Grimacing, the One For All inheritor tried to look for a weak point upon the stony dragon. It would take a lot of force to take it out completely. And without Eraser's help, it was going to be much harder.

"Deku!" the Wind Rage Quirk user called out, "I'm going to go for its underbelly!" he decided, zipping downward, "You attack from above!" he insisted.

"Right, got it!" his colleague responded, leaping onto the dragon's back before jumping up as high as he could. He then readied his right leg. Meanwhile, Kris flew underneath the behemoth, letting his right hand become encased in a fierce torrent of swirling wind.

"AGH!" Tamaki yelped in pain as he found himself slashed at his chest by Acnoella yet again.

"I thought you said you were going to stop me, boy…" she remarked, readying her claws as she thrusted them out once more, only for him to block by creating a thick set of crab pincers over his arms, "But in the end, you're nothing but talk…" she affirmed, kicking him hard in the stomach to make him gasp for breath as he faltered. Even as he grimaced, he couldn't help but look over to where he had seen Mirio earlier. When Overhaul had said that he had taken his Quirk, he hesitated a little. He couldn't believe that the person who was his best friend, the strongest student of U.A., was rendered powerless. And while he fought, the Manifest Quirk user felt that he barely did. So for now at least…

Acnoella rushed in at him again, readying her claws. Taking a deep breath, Tamaki morphed his right arm into that of a swordfish, blocking off her blades as sparks flew. The Oracion Seis member huffed.

"Well…" she uttered out, "to think that there'd be a child who could actually stand against me…" she admitted, "That said, I doubt you can forever manifest the things you've eaten…" she pointed out, "So what will you do… boy?" she inquired.

"My name…" the Manifest Quirk user began as he morphed his left arm into an array of tentacles, thrusting them out at his opponent, "IS SUNEATER!" he yelled. Leaping back, Acnoella evaded the tentacles, laughing all the while. Her opponent growled.

'This is it…' he noted inwardly, 'With such a wide-open space, I shouldn't end up harming anyone else by mistake…' he mentioned to himself, taking a deep breath.

"Vast Hybrid…" he began, arming himself with layers of shells for protection, including a mask over his face. Then he released multiple giant tentacles that swung about in a rotating wave. "CHIMERA… KRAKEN!" he roared. Gasping, Acnoella found herself on the defensive, narrowly managing to evade the tentacles as she grimaced.

"Suneater…" Holy uttered upon noticing how well he was doing. In spite of his self-confidence issues and overwhelming weight he always felt from people, Tamaki wasn't going to back down. He managed to slam Acnoella onto the ground with another barrage from his swinging tentacles. Her visor shattered upon impact as she gasped with pain. However, she gritted her teeth.

"VIERNES! DOGRAMAG!" she bellowed out. At that moment, both of her created creatures perked up. Even as it was getting struck simultaneously by both Izuku and Kris, the stony dragon bumbled over to its creator, along with the gold beast, even as it was being melted. Both of them roared as they closed in on the student hero attacking the Oracion Seis member. He gasped in surprise.

"Suneater, get out of there!" Holy screamed as she ran over.

"No!" Izuku yelled. Acnoella smirked, thinking that she had her opponent beaten.

"Thanks for waiting…" Eraser said gratefully, causing her and the others to look over in surprise to find the Erase Quirk user reactivating his ability as his markings reappeared, while his hair turned white, "I can't let you kids make me look bad…" he muttered, readying his right hand as a light wafted off from it, "White Flash!" he exclaimed, swiping his arm across. Instantaneously, both dragons were eradicated. Everyone widened their eyes in shock. At the same time, the I.U.A. Hero's markings and white hair vanished again. "Guess bigger targets use up more energy than I thought…" he noted aloud as he keeled over slightly.

"Mister Eraser!" Izuku called out as he and Kris landed, hurrying over to him.

"Damn you…" Acnoella cursed. However, she found herself bound by tentacles before she could think to touch the ground, looking out to see Tamaki approaching her.

"I told you that I would stop you, didn't I?" he inquired rhetorically of her, making her growl.

"Nicely done, Suneater…" Holy complimented as she walked over, "With her arms bound, she won't be able to call for that other dragon either," she pointed out. However, the Oracion Seis member silently chuckled.

"We still need to deal with Overhaul," Kris noted to the group as he and Izuku got Eraser back onto his feet.

"Yeah…" the One For All inheritor agreed, "Let's go help Nighteye before—!" He stopped himself as he looked back and widened his eyes in horror. The others looked over and were just as shocked.

"I don't blame you all for focusing on Acnoella…" the Shie Hassaikai leader admitted as he turned to his foes, "She's definitely higher up on the totem pole compared to me…" he pointed out, while blood dripped onto the shattered ground behind him, "That said…" he continued, "you could've at least had one or two of those kids helping you out…" he mentioned, glancing back over to the figure of the Foresight Quirk user, "Not that it would've helped in the end, Nighteye…" he affirmed.

"No…" Holy uttered out. The former sidekick of All Might had a spike through his stomach, while his left arm had been torn off. He was a bloody mess.

"Now… I'll fix the rest of you…" Overhaul decided, readying his six arms.

"Moscoy, moscoy, moscoy!" Mosco repeated, palming away at the wall behind him and Ivry, trying to break it open.

"Come on, you stupid pig!" the Shining Star Hero shouted with frustration, "Even a kid could break that wall down by now!" she pointed out angrily.

"MOSCOYYYY!" the heavyset man bellowed, palming even faster.

"Sister!" a voice called out, getting the Heal Atomizer Quirk user's attention as she saw Rebecca making her way over with Mirio, Eri, and Pino in tow.

"Good, you're not dead…" Ivry remarked, "Here, I got the kid," she assured, taking the now Quirkless boy out of the ash blonde-haired girl's hands.

"Is… he gonna be okay?" she asked in concern.

"Yeah, I swear I'll save him…" the Shining Star Hero affirmed, expelling a greenish, healing light onto Mirio. He managed to bat his eyes open.

"How's… everyone doing?" he inquired weakly, making Rebecca blink in surprise. She peeked out through the spikes to see the ongoing conflicts, with her boyfriend and Kris fighting Dogramag in place of Eraser, Holy dealing with Viernes, and Tamaki facing Acnoella by himself. However, she couldn't see Nighteye nor Overhaul.

'Should I get back in there and check…?' she wondered inwardly.

"MOSCOY!" Mosco exclaimed, finally breaking down the wall, "We have our exit, mistress," he affirmed with a thumbs-up.

"'Bout time," Ivry grumbled out, helping stand Mirio up, "Rebecca, go up to the surface with the kid," she advised, "Take Lemillion and get to the police," she added firmly, "Mosco'll go with you," she assured, glancing over at the heavyset man.

"And you're gonna stay to help the others?" the Cat Leaper Quirk user assumed.

"Someone's gotta heal up anyone on our side that gets rocked…" the Shining Star Hero pointed out in reply, "Now get goin'," she insisted.

"Right," Rebecca responded, turning to Eri, "Let's go," she insisted, reaching for the little girl, "We're gonna get you somewhere safe," she promised. However, the horned girl backed away to her surprise.

"No… please…" she begged out, tearing up, "I don't… want… anyone getting hurt anymore…" she whimpered.

"Eri…" Mirio uttered.

"Chisaki won't stop…" Pino pointed out, getting the group's attention, "No matter who or what he faces, he won't rest until he gets Eri back…" she told them. The horned girl trembled.

"I don't… want this…!" she sobbed out. Looking back, Ivry gave off a worried look. Then she heard blood splatter. She whipped her head around and widened her eyes.

"Sister?" Rebecca said upon noticing. She looked out and gasped with horror. Everyone else looked over, widening their own eyes.

"Sir…?" Mirio uttered, seeing his mentor be skewered through his stomach and losing an arm, "NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" he screamed with dismay.

"Goddammit!" Ivry cursed, lashing her whip to tear through the spikes before charging forward to the Foresight Quirk user.

"Nighteye…" Rebecca uttered in disbelief. Even with his ability to see into the future, the former sidekick of All Might had his limits. And unfortunately, he reached his at the worst possible time… The future he saw seemed unavoidable. All hope was lost.

"You're all going to die down here, just like him!" Overhaul proclaimed to his remaining foes, unleashing another layer of spikes towards them. Sticking her hands out, Holy melted down as many as she could, but more were popping up.

'Damn!' she cursed inwardly, 'My range isn't enough to stop all of them!' she noted to herself as she grimaced. At that moment though, Izuku stepped forward, stomping the ground hard to make it shatter apart, blocking off the spikes.

"Midoriya!" Kris exclaimed.

"Ergh…!" the One For All inheritor grunted out. His whole body was aching as he was pushing himself to his limits, accessing up to the 25% of his power that he could currently sustain without serious injury. Seeing that, Overhaul growled.

"Give up!" he shouted out, "You know how this all ends!" he proclaimed fiercely.

"Ichiro, how much longer until you're ready?" Holy inquired of her fellow I.U.A. Hero, getting his attention.

"I'd say about another minute or so…" he admitted in reply.

"That'll be plenty of time!" Izuku affirmed, clenching his fists, "We can stop him right here and now!" he declared.

"In that case…" the Melt Quirk user continued, "Suneater, head to the surface with Acnoella!" she advised of the U.A. senior, "The police can properly restrain her there!" she mentioned confidently.

"Right!" he responded, about to head off. However, he stopped as he heard the Oracion Seis member chuckle. "What's so funny…?" he asked, somewhat unnerved by how amused she sounded.

"You're very perceptive, knowing that my Quirk's an Ether-type…" she complimented, "Binding my arms would cut off my Ether from flowing throughout my entire body…" she pointed out, "Sadly…" she kept going, "that isn't the case here," she affirmed as her energy lines reappeared. The others widened their eyes in shock upon noticing.

"No… don't tell me…!" Holy gasped out. The Dragonization Quirk user's appearance changed, losing her cloak and what remained of her visor as her brown eyes burned into a stunned Tamaki. Her head gained two pairs of horns, with one jutting from the sides over her ears, while the others pointed up and back. Along with that, she also had a crescent-shaped crest over her eyes. Her long white hair waved about from her head, which looked like a black orb. She also gained four tentacle-like, mechanical appendages that stuck out from her back.

"I commend you, Suneater," she said, making her new appendages shoot out and wrap around her opponent as he gasped for air, with his own hold on her coming undone, "Few get to witness me in my Overdrive," she noted, "…But none live to tell about it," she affirmed on, chucking the Manifest Quirk hard into the wall.

"GAH…!" he exclaimed with pain.

"SUNEATER!" Holy screamed. She then turned and glared toward the Oracion Seis member. "Why you…!" she growled out.

"Hm," Acnoella huffed, raising her right hand up, "I wasn't able to do this earlier since I already reached my limit of three and because I wasn't in Overdrive…" she pointed out as the air started swirling around her, making everyone brace themselves from its force, "Simpler elements like air and water are harder for me to completely manifest," she admitted, "But once I do…" she continued as the air contracted, forming into a draconic shape, "I can create something beautiful…" she proclaimed. As the wind kept breezing, everyone was stunned to see what loomed before them. It was a large, four-legged dragon, whose appearance differed considerably from the others. It had a white body, which appeared to be covered in tissue similar to bird feathers, rather than scales. Its feet resembled bird talons as well. Its head was covered in what appeared to be fur and its skull was somewhat broad and flat. The fur extended down the neck and to the upper chest region. "Allow me to introduce you to the dragon of the skies… Grandeeney," its creator proclaimed. Those watching grimaced. There was seemingly nothing they could do.

"So what…?" Izuku growled out, getting everyone's attention, "Even if you all think it's pointless for us to keep fighting…" he continued, clenching his fists tightly, "we still will…" he vowed as he gritted his teeth.

"Midoriya…" Kris uttered, while their colleagues stared on at him in shock.

"Are you that blind to reality, kid?" Overhaul wondered aloud, "I told you, it's all over!" he proclaimed. At that moment, the prosthetic fist of the Wind Rage Quirk user rocketed out and struck him upside the head. "JINN?!" he snarled out, seeing the extremity return to its user, clicking back into place.

"You're right, Midoriya," he agreed, making the One For All inheritor perk up, "Heroes fight until the bitter end like All Might did…" he pointed out, "Which means… we won't stop!" he declared, rushing forward alongside him towards the Shie Hassaikai leader, "Hold off Acnoella for as long as you can!" he insisted of the others.

"Hm," the Oracion Seis member huffed out, "He thinks that you can best me, even at this stage…" she mocked, "Honestly, heroes that aren't All Might are nothing more than a joke…" she proclaimed. At that moment, the ground around her suddenly softened beneath her feet, causing her to sink into it as she yelped.

"Is that so, Acnoella?" Holy inquired as her purple markings glowed brightly, "Because right now, your hand's been forced by us 'jokes'…" she pointed out with a smirk, making the Dragonization Quirk user growl.

"You little brats…!" Overhaul yelled, forming more spikes to shoot out towards his new opponents. Izuku was finding himself getting better at predicting where they would end up. But unlike Kris, who had better maneuverability with his Quirk, he couldn't dodge forever.

'I've gotta hold out…' he noted to himself, 'I'm probably the only one strong enough to take Chisaki down in one blow…' he added inwardly, leaping around before making his way up to what remained of the ceiling above.

"Got you!" Kai shouted, shooting off another array of spikes toward the One For All inheritor. However, they were shattered apart by the prosthetic fist of Kris, who had shot it out. Snarling angrily, the Shie Hassaikai leader sent out more spikes, piercing the fake extremity and ripping it apart.

'This is it…!' Izuku exclaimed inwardly as he braced himself against the ceiling, ready to leap down, 'One strike to the head should do it!' he affirmed through his thoughts, launching himself toward his foe in an instant.

"You really don't know when to give up, do you?!" he roared in question, unleashing his needle-shaped strands of hair up at his opponent. Kris widened his eyes.

'That's Kurono's Quirk!' he realized.

"Midoriya, watch out!" he yelled in warning to the One For All inheritor, but it seemed to be too late as the strands of hair were about to pierce him. All of a sudden though, a blue burst of light tore through the hair, much to everyone's shock. Izuku looked over to see his girlfriend there with her pulse pistol held tightly in her right hand as tears were welled up in her eyes. But she was steeling herself.

"DO IT NOW, IZU!" she screamed, causing her boyfriend to immediately regain his focus, bringing his left leg up. The momentum he had gained from his descent hadn't slowed. He was ready to end this with one good kick.

"MANCHESTER… SMMMMAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHH!" he bellowed, swinging his leg down as he iron-soled foot struck. Kai appeared to falter, but then just let out a grunt.

"Ow…" he muttered with pain as there was a distinct mark on his left shoulder. His foes gasped. "If I hadn't moved my head in time, you probably would've cracked my skull…" he admitted.

'He dodged at the very last second...!' Kris noted inwardly as he grimaced.

"You might be fast…" the Shie Hassaikai leader noted to Izuku, "but compared to the last two…" he continued, palming the ground as he started to reform it, "the lines of your movements are painfully easy to predict!" he yelled, unleashing a plethora of spikes.

"MIDORIYA!" Kris yelled.

"IZU!" Rebecca screamed. Blood splattered all across the floor.

"We'll be to the surface mos-shortly," Mosco affirmed, leading the way as Mirio followed him with Eri and Pino in tow through the labyrinth halls. The little girl could see the trail of blood being left behind from some of the now Quirkless teen's wounds. That blood was spilt because of her. And she could only imagine how many others were fighting for her sake.

As for Mirio, he was broken inside. Even as he kept telling himself to keep moving, the image of Nighteye being skewered was fresh in his mind. It weighed him down as tears were falling from his eyes. In a yelp of pain, he fell down onto his knees.

"Mister!" Pino exclaimed as she went over to his side.

"It seems your injuries were far too severe for mistress to completely heal…" Mosco noted upon approaching. Tears dripped out of the Quirkless teen's eyes. He looked over to Eri, who seemed rather despondent.

"Go… Eri…" he insisted of her, "Go with the big guy and your little buddy…" he advised on, "They'll get you out of here safe…" he promised. However, his breaking voice was hardly convincing her. It was hardly convincing the others as they looked at him sympathetically. As many people as there were fighting to save her, she didn't think they could. Not with what they were up against.

"Agh…" Overhaul groaned out as he reassembled his trio of left arms, "Repairing myself doesn't make breaking apart hurt any less…!" he grumbled through a wince, "But at least I'm in better shape than you…" he muttered as lying ahead of him was now an armless and legless Kris, who bled on the shattered ground, "Jinn…" he said.

"KRIS!" Rebecca screamed as she ran over. Izuku's eyes were still shaking. A few spikes had gotten pierced into his body, but there would've been many more had it not been for the Wind Rage Quirk user. He had flown himself directly into the spikes' intended path… and wound up sacrificing his remaining limbs in order to protect the One For All inheritor.

"Are… you alright… Midoriya?" he managed to ask weakly.

"Don't talk!" the Cat Leaper Quirk user insisted, helping to gently roll him over onto his back, "You're gonna be okay, Kris!" she promised with tears pricking her eyes, "SISTER!" she cried out.

"How pathetic…" Overhaul muttered, "You're all finished at this point," he pointed out, "Even your IUA friends are probably at the end of their rope…" he mentioned as Holy and Tamaki were still battling against Grandeeney, while Acnoella had made her way out of the melted ground, appearing to go after Eraser, "Just give up," he insisted.

"No way…" Izuku grunted out through breaths, "This isn't over…" he proclaimed.

"Huh… Stubborn like your friends…" the Shie Hassaikai leader grumbled, "Though I suppose there's something to be said about someone who refuses to give up," he pointed out, lifting his middle right hand up. Rebecca brought her lone pulse pistol up.

"DON'T MOVE!" she screamed in demand. However, she and her boyfriend were shocked to see Overhaul form a mouth upon his palm.

"Someone else is about to die because of you!" his voice echoed out, reaching through the labyrinth, "Is that really what you want… ERI?!" he inquired as the little girl herself heard his voice, trembling with fear.

"What was that?" Mosco asked. All of a sudden, the horned girl turned and ran.

"Eri!" Pino cried out, hurrying after her. However, she was too late to stop her. It wasn't just because she was compelled by the Quirk that Kai had used. She couldn't bear to see more people shed blood for her sake.

"No… wait…" she uttered out. Izuku and Rebecca gasped, looking back to see Eri there. "It's not… It's not what I want…!" she whimpered on.

"Eri…!" the Cat Leaper Quirk user exclaimed in disbelief.

"What the hell are you doing here?!" Ivry shouted out in question, "Get back to Mosco and the others, quick!" she insisted. However, she and Nighteye were suddenly entrapped by an array of spikes that Overhaul had created.

"Sister!" Rebecca cried out. Meanwhile, the little girl's eyes shook.

"Eri…" the Shie Hassaikai leader's voice echoed from the mouth upon his hands, "these little heroes are beaten and battered," he pointed out, "Even the ones still fighting are bound to lose against someone like Acnoella…" he mentioned, glancing over to see the others battling the Oracion Seis member, "So…" he continued, turning to the horned girl, "do you really think they can stop me?" he inquired as she flinched. She lowered her head with fright.

"No…" she confessed in reply, much to everyone's shock.

"Smart girl…" Kai complimented, "So then what do you suppose you should do?" he questioned on.

"…Go back…" Eri answered as she stepped forward.

'Eri…!' both Izuku and Rebecca uttered inwardly.

"And if I do…" the little girl continued, "you need to make them all better again!" she insisted through her tears.

"NO!" Pino screamed as she ran over, latching her little hands onto the horned girl's clothes, "I won't let you go back!" she exclaimed in vow.

"Pino…" Eri uttered.

"You were going to be free…" the android whimpered as tears built up in her eyes, "You were finally going to be safe and sound…" she added through sobs, "Don't throw that all away for these people!" she insisted, "They're willing to risk their lives for you!" she pointed out vehemently.

"All just conjecture from a little toy…" Overhaul muttered out, "It's so much easier for you to be hurt yourself than to watch others be hurt for you, isn't it?" he assumed as he lowered his hand, "That faint flicker of hope's been extinguished now," he mentioned, while his foes trembled, "Don't you see?" he inquired of them, "You think you're helping her, but you're just making it all worse," he pointed out, "She… doesn't… want you…" he growled.

"You monster…!" Rebecca snarled. The situation was completely bleak now. There was seemingly no way the group could defeat Kai, especially in his fused state. That was the future that Nighteye had seen, where he and Izuku died… and their foe escaped. But that wasn't the future the One For All inheritor was willing to accept.

"Maybe what he said is true…" he admitted, yanking the rock spike out of his left arm as he staggered to his feet, "Maybe you don't want my help… but that's not going to stop me…" he continued, "I saw you crying, Eri…" he remembered, "There's no way I can let you go back to him…" he declared, "I won't let anyone die…" he vowed on, "I'M GOING TO SAVE YOU!" he promised fiercely, crushing the spike in his bare hand.

"Izu…" Rebecca uttered. At that moment, there was a rumble from up above. Another portion of the ceiling gave way, getting the group's attention as they saw Ryukyu coming down with Feather, Ochaco, Tsuyu, Nejire, and Rikiya, as all of them appeared to be wrestling with Metalicana. Acnoella glanced over, cracking a grin.

"Well… this certainly became interesting…" she remarked, chuckling a little.
