Hey guys! Welcome back to "Through the Rough"! We're finally getting into the School Festival Arc, and it's gonna be a blast for sure!

Now before we do dive in, I do want to clarify a few changes that'll be occurring, particularly in terms of character roles. You'll see some characters doing things you probably wouldn't have expected, and others getting more focus than in canon. All in all, it'll be a fun ride!

So let's get into it!

THROUGH THE ROUGH

"Hmmhmmhmm~…" Rebecca hummed, walking through the U.A. halls on the way to class, listening to a tune through the earbuds in her ears. A few days had passed since her boyfriend and Yuga had become good friends over how similar their experiences with their Quirks was. It was weird, but also reassuring to see her boyfriend continuing to bond with others, even if their personalities clashed.

She kept humming to the beat of the song playing on her phone as she approached the classroom door. Today was looking to be a good one. She slid the door opened, walking inside.

"Moring, every—! WAH!" she yelped, leaning back to narrowly avoid getting struck by Mina's foot as it was swung her way. She fell onto her bottom, wincing in pain a little.

"Oh, sorry 'bout that!" the Acid Quirk user exclaimed apologetically as she got onto her feet, "Should've looked where I was dancing…" she admitted sheepishly.

"Dancing?" Rebecca repeated in confusion as she stood up, taking out her earbuds.

"Yeah, she was breakdancing like a real dance floor queen!" Toru pointed out.

"Even tried showin' Midoriya and Aoyama how to do it," Hanta mentioned, gesturing over to the flailing forms of Izuku and Yuga as they were trying to dance. The Cat Leaper Quirk user smiled at the sight, giggling a little. She then went over to her seat, setting her book bag down. By accident though, it got caught on the cord of her earbuds, unplugging them from her phone.

We can choose the way of our future~!

Try a brand new path, if I change the world~…!

If I change the world~…!

This boundless music brings transformation~!

A new genesis~!

"Oh, shoot!" Rebecca yelped, quickly grabbing her phone and hitting the pause button, "Sorry about that, guys…" she apologized.

"Was… that Ado?" Kyoka inquired curiously, getting her attention as she saw her approach.

"Uh, yeah," the Cat Leaper Quirk user replied, "She basically released a bunch of new tracks yesterday for this upcoming movie and—"

"Isn't her voice amazing?!" Kyoka assumed with sparkling eyes, interrupting her.

"Oh, totally!" she agreed, "Right now, 'New Genesis' is pretty much my favorite," she affirmed, showing the paused title on her phone, "But all her songs just how much range she really has!" she pointed out.

"I… didn't know you were into that kinda stuff…" the Earphone Jack Quirk user admitted, blinking in surprise, "Always thought you were more of a gamer than anything…" she mentioned, scratching her right cheek.

"That doesn't mean I can't like music!" Rebecca retorted in response, smiling brightly, "Besides, who doesn't?" she questioned rhetorically. Kyoka blushed a bright red, turning away for a moment.

"Uh… w-would you mind sending me a link to those songs?" she requested, "Just so I can listen to 'em later…" she added, rubbing the back of her head.

"Sure thing!" the Cat Leaper Quirk user replied. As the two of them went back to their respective seats, Denki looked on with an intrigued expression. Earlier, he had commented on how his classmates' hobbies helped out with hero work in some way, like with Rikido and his baking. And he had brought up Kyoka's own hobby of music, much to her discomfort. Yet for some reason, she was open to talk with Rebecca about it…

"The school festival is on the horizon," Shota commented, being joined by Hermit in the classroom later that morning.

"Normal school stuff!" almost everyone exclaimed in response. It was an exciting time for sure, even if some were uncertain of doing things like this in the midst of whatever else was going on in the world. Rebecca was especially enthusiastic, remembering the school festivals back at Aldera Junior High. She enjoyed them for the most part. And hopefully, the first she would experience at U.A. would be even better.

"Keep in mind, the UA Festival focuses on everyone, not just the Hero Course," Hermit pointed out to the class.

"Many of your peers are feeling stressed out by the current conditions of UA," Shota added, "especially the dorm system, which had to be adopted because of the Hero Course," he mentioned.

"Ouch…" Weisz muttered out quietly.

"When you put it like that, guess it'd be unfair to just cancel it…" Eijiro admitted, sitting down in his seat. The festival was only going to be open to U.A. students and staff this year with a few exceptions for some cases. Even though Class 1-A wouldn't be the main focus, they'd still have to come up with an event to perform.

"So while Eraser here dozes off, I'm gonna go ahead and help you guys out!" Hermit affirmed, "Class rep and deputy, could you please come to the front?" she requested of Tenya and Momo, enticing them to get up from their seats. From there, it was a slew of suggestions being flung out in terms of what to do.

"A maid café!" Denki insisted first.

"That's way too tame, Kaminari!" Minoru argued, "It should be a topless—!" Both Tsuyu and Rebecca bound him up rather instantaneously before he could finish his suggestion.

"A mochi shop!" Ochaco exclaimed.

"An arm wrestling match!" Eijiro suggested.

"Uh, how 'bout a haunted house or something?" Weisz inferred with an unsure shrug.

"A swordsman duel," Homura said.

"A fun house!" Toru exclaimed excitedly.

"A creperie!" Rikido proclaimed.

"Disco!" Mina yelled.

"A hero quiz!" Izuku called out.

"Making new friends!" Shiki shouted.

"The frog song in a round!" Tsuyu suggested.

"Maybe a petting zoo…?" Koji presumed.

"Soba stall," Shoto simply said.

"Fight to the death!" Katsuki bellowed.

"A video game tournament!" Rebecca exclaimed.

"A mad banquet of darkness…" Fumikage suggested.

"A twinkling extravaganza!" Yuga called out.

"Maybe… a skit or something?" Kyoka presumed rather meekly, much to Rebecca's confusion. She would've expected the Earphone Jack Quirk user to make a music-related suggestion. Was she feeling shy? After a few more suggestions, everything was listed on the interactive blackboard.

"Okay, so we'll start with removing ones that are either too vague, too crude, or too violent," Hermit stated, crossing off a few of the suggestions.

"Why'd you even bother asking us in the first place then…?" Katsuki grumbled in question.

"How harsh…" Fumikage remarked upon seeing his suggestion go away. Everyone was arguing over what to do, and order was hard to have kept.

"Alright, calm down," the Shining Star Hero advised, enticing the class to quiet themselves, "For starters, I'll show you guys my favorites of your suggestions," she decided, highlighting the suggestions for a skit, disco, a fun house, a maid café, and a petting zoo, "Obviously, you can all decide on what you ultimately want, but these five seem like the ones you'd probably most agree would suit the festival," she told the class.

"Wow, Hermy," Rebecca said, "You're really passionate about all this, huh?" she assumed.

"Heehee!" the Master Code Quirk user giggled, "Well, I was Class A's rep for the three years I was here," she pointed out, "And every year, I did my due diligence to not just field ideas, but also try to mesh them in ways that would work," she mentioned thoroughly, "I might be giving you a helping hand now, but it's up to you as to what you'll do next," she stated. Unfortunately, the period ended before the class could come to a consensus. And to make matters worse, if a final suggestion wasn't agreed upon, the event held would be an educational lecture.

It was a bit to deal with for sure. And Rebecca couldn't help but look over with concern at Kyoka. Something about her suggestion didn't sit right. Like how Izuku had been worrying over Yuga, she was worried about the Earphone Jack Quirk user.

OPENING

Insert "Fleeting Lullaby" by Ado

A spotlight shines upon a stage, where Kyoka, Rebecca, Momo and Homura are. Kyoka wields her bass, Rebecca's sitting at the drums, Momo readies her hands to play the keyboard, and Homura grips her electric guitar tightly. As Kyoka starts signing, more lights flash on, revealing the rest of Class 1-A as they're about to perform.

We cut to Shoto and Katsuki struggling with the provisional license course as Homura watches on alongside All Might and Endeavor. She glances toward the Flame Hero curiously, while a memory of Valkyrie crosses her mind. In the meantime, we get images of Madame Kurenai with her cronies, Garrot, Baku, and Nino; the latter of which appearing reluctant. There's also a shot of the current Shining Star Heroes, who're standing in front of the safe door found at the Hassaikai headquarters.

There's another scene of the League of Villains lurking in the shadows, with Dabi taking note of a particular news broadcast on a TV. Elsewhere, Shura finds himself being confronted by the Oceans 6. He sneers as he readies his Quirk, but is suddenly stopped when Nero appears behind him and slams his head into the ground. He goes through a flashback of his own where as a young boy, he was crying in the corner.

Next up, we see Izuku and Rebecca hopping around in pursuit of Gentle Criminal and La Brava as they bounce about on the way to U.A. Already there is Eri, who's with Mirio and the others who were a part of the raid mission. They and the rest of Class 1-A are about to perform as they head off to the stage inside Gym Gamma.

We go through several scenes of the class in separate groups, with Katsuki and Eijiro arguing over the special effects as the others sigh, Mina practicing the dancing with the class, especially Shiki as Ochaco watches on with a blank jealous stare, and Kyoka, Momo and Homura tuning their respective instruments. The Earphone Jack Quirk user worriedly looks at the clock, hoping that Izuku and Rebecca can make it in time.

As the opening winds down, we see shots of Deadend Crow, God Acnoella, Poseidon Nero, Saintfire Nox, Elsie Crimson, and finally, Tomura Shigaraki. We also get to see the lineup of the top ten pro heroes of Japan: Eraser, Kamui Woods, Crust, Holy, Mirko, Justice, Edgeshot, Hawks, and Endeavor. As the ceremony goes on, an ominous figure watches on curiously.

The song concludes with Izuku and Rebecca holding hands as they run ahead with smiles on their faces, heading for what they hope is a bright future.

Listening to the playlist of music provided to her from Rebecca as the evening set in at the dorms, Kyoka smiled to herself. She was content with whatever was ultimately decided upon for the festival, though she had no idea why her suggestion had gotten selected by Hermit as one of the better ones. Being so caught up in her thoughts, she didn't even realize that there was someone coming up behind her.

"Hey Jiro!" Toru greeted, causing her to yelp in surprise before turning to see her there, "Listening to those tracks Rebecca sent you?" she presumed.

"Uh, yeah…" the Earphone Jack Quirk user replied, pausing the current song and unplugging her earlobe, "You guys figure something out for the festival?" she inquired curiously.

"Not yet, I'm afraid," Homura answered upon approaching, "It's difficult for us to come to any consensus when not everyone is present," she pointed out. Those who were a part of the work studies weren't in the common space, along with Katsuki, who had gone to bed early.

"What about Bluegarden's suggestion from before?" Kyoka inquired of the group, "I mean, depending on the video game…" she started to say.

"I dunno…" Mashirao admitted, rubbing the back of his head, "Even if it's something easy like a racing game or whatever, there're still gonna be people more experienced than others," he pointed out.

"And we're trying to relieve people's stress, not exacerbate it," Momo added.

"R-Right…" Kyoka stammered in agreement, glancing off to the side sheepishly, "So… we're focusing on the experiences then, right?" she guessed.

"Correct," Tenya replied, "Now what sort of experience would be most suitable to help relieve the stresses of the other classes here at UA…?" he wondered aloud.

"Why not a big ol' dance party?" Mina suggested in response.

"Yeah… that could work," Shoto agreed.

"Wait, you're agreeing with me on this?!" the Acid Quirk user inquired, quite surprised by the recommended student backing her up. He took the laptop upon the table and brought up a video of a dance hall with a band playing in the background.

"Are you some kind of secret raver?!" Minoru inquired.

"No," Shoto replied, "I just agree with Iida's opinion that we should be providing stress relief for the other courses," he told his classmates, "In order to do that, we probably need to think about something that can provide entertainment for everyone," he explained on, "I got the idea from our extra exam training…" he mentioned to the surprise of some.

"I can attest to that," Homura chimed in. Hearing that made Minoru fall to his hands and knees with defeat as he lurked in the corner.

"Damn you, Todoroki…" he grumbled out, "Just how far have you gotten with her…?" he whimpered in question.

"Uh, what are you talking about?" the Half-Cold, Half-Hot Quirk user inquired, while Homura blinked in confusion.

"Back on track, singing and dancing?" Hanta presumed, "I doubt anyone wants to see a cringey routine from some amateurs…" he pointed out.

"No prob, fam!" Mina remarked, "I gotcha' covered!" she promised, gesturing to Yuga, who was dancing about rather fluently.

"Ashido really taught him how to throw it down in one day!" Denki pointed out, "Now that's the work of a true dance master!" he added in a complimentary tone.

"Hold on, you idiots!" Minoru chimed in, having recovered from his dismay, "Dancing is about rhythm, thunderous beats!" he noted emphatically, "If we do this, we'll need some serious jams!" he insisted as he spun around.

"Well, if we're talking about music…" Toru began as she and the others turned to the one person they knew could be of help here: Kyoka.

"Huh?!" she yelped in surprise, "Uh… w-what?!" she stammered out, blushing a bright red.

"Why don't we perform live?!" Toru suggested excitedly, "With all your instruments!" she added.

"A-Absolutely not!" Kyoka stammered in response.

"What's wrong~?" the invisible girl inquired in a singsong voice, "You're really good at playing and teaching people how to play!" she pointed out as a mention, "And you always look like you're having a ton of fun when you make music!" she proclaimed on, "I bet everyone in school would love to hear you rock out!" she affirmed. Hearing that made the Earphone Jack Quirk user hesitate for a bit. She thought back to what Rebecca had said earlier about music.

It didn't seem like something she wanted to show off, especially because of how it didn't seem like it meshed well with her being a hero, unlike Mina or Rikido with their own hobbies. But thinking to everyone's encouraging words, along with what the Cat Leaper Quirk user had said, she had to really consider it. She blushed a little as she sheepishly held her head in her hands.

"Well, after hearing you guys say all of that…" she began to her classmates as they looked over to her curiously, "it wouldn't be rockin' at all not to, right?" she inferred.

"Alright!" Toru exclaimed.

"Our school festival event's gonna be a concert for the ages!" Mina declared excitedly. Everyone was in agreement. And now, it was time to really prepare…

"Eri!" the voices of Izuku, Rebecca and Mirio greeted after they slid open the door to the little girl's room in the hospital. She was sitting upon her bed alongside Pino, who smiled to see the guests there.

"Welcome, everyone," she said, standing up on the bed and bowing to the trio.

"Sorry we couldn't come visit sooner…" the Cat Leaper Quirk user apologized.

"We brought you some yummy snacks!" Mirio mentioned, holding up a basket of fruit in his left hand. Watching on from the doorway was Shota, along with a few nurses. Apparently, Eri had requested to see the trio of U.A. students, having been concerned for them ever since she managed to regain consciousness. It was all that she apparently wanted.

"This whole time… even I when I had a fever…" she began, "I was still thinking about how you saved me…" she recalled, looking over to Izuku and Rebecca, "but… I don't even know what to call you…" she pointed out to their surprise, "I know Lemillion's name… but what's yours?" she asked curiously.

"I'm Izuku Midoriya, but my hero name is Deku," the One For All inheritor answered first, "You know, Deku's probably easier for you to remember," he realized, "Yeah, I'm Deku," he confirmed.

"A hero name?" Eri said in confusion.

"It is a codename that heroes give themselves to protect their identities," Pino explained in response.

"Sorta like a nickname," Rebecca added, getting the little girl's attention, "Speaking of which, my name's Rebecca Bluegarden," she introduced, "My hero name is Miss Aoneko," she mentioned, "I guess both of those don't roll off the tongue so easily, huh?" she presumed with a sheepish grin, "You can just call me… Becca," she confirmed, "Yeah, that works," she said with a little smile.

"So Lemillion, Deku, and Becca…" Eri listed off, "And then…" she continued, remembering Nighteye from the raid, "there was the man wearing glasses…" she recalled, "All of you ended up getting hurt real bad because of me…" she pointed out. Shota had noted to the group beforehand that the little girl hadn't been made aware of the Foresight Quirk user's passing. She would be told someday, but now would just be too cruel on her.

"Eri…" Pino uttered out worriedly.

"It's all my fault…" the horned girl whimpered out, with tears pricking her eyes, "I'm so sorry…" she apologized, "I know that you lost your power because of me… Lemillion…" she mentioned sadly. The Quirkless teen put a hand atop her head, getting her attention.

"Eri…" he began, "I'm sure no one thinks what happened was your fault," he assured, "You know what we are thinking though?" he inquired of her, "Man, we're stupid glad that Eri's okay!" he paraphrased, "So you see, there's no point in apologizing," he pointed out, "You don't need to worry about it," he mentioned reassuringly.

"Yeah," Rebecca agreed with a nod, "After all, we all fought because we wanted to see you smile in the end," she told the little girl. She looked over at the trio of her rescuers. She then tried to make herself smile like they said, even pulling at her cheeks. The others looked over in confusion, while Pino sadly lowered her head.

"This is so silly…" Eri muttered out, "I don't remember how smiling feels…" she concluded as she looked down. The group before her realized that she hadn't yet been saved completely. The shadow of Kai still loomed large over her. Izuku tried to think of something. What would it take to potentially make the horned girl happy and enjoy life again?

And then he remembered how he and Yuga bonded. The idea of surprising Eri with something like the school festival would be perfect, especially since it was being kept to just staff and students, with a few exceptions. Looking over at her boyfriend, Rebecca could tell that the gears in his head were turning. He had something to work with. Whether it would work out or not was entirely up to chance.

"Mister Aizawa?" Izuku said, standing up and approaching his teacher, "Do you think Eri could leave the hospital? Just for one day?" he inquired of him.

"It's not totally out of the question," he responded with his arms folded over his chest, "Actually, we were thinking we might have—"

"Then I have an idea!" the One For All inheritor interjected, "To bring her spirits up!" he added.

"What is it?" Shota asked.

"She should come with us… to the UA Festival!" Izuku requested, gesturing over to the horned girl.

"Oh, that's a great idea!" Rebecca agreed as she smiled, while Mirio had a look of excited revelation on his face.

"What's a festival?" Eri asked.

"I believe it is an event where people come together to celebrate their accomplishments and have fun with an assortment of activities," Pino explained in reply.

"Yeah, something like that," Rebecca said, "Basically, it's where you could do all sorts of cool and exciting things!" she noted to Eri with a smile.

"There are different games and performances…" Mirio chimed in, "They sell food…" he continued, "Oh, and they might have candy apples there, too!" he mentioned.

"Candy apples?" the little girl repeated.

"It's when they dip an apple into some crackly sugar stuff and make it even sweeter!" the Quirkless teen told her in reply. The horned girl didn't realize that she was drooling a little.

"Sweeter…" she uttered out.

"Alright," Shota said, "I'll talk it over with the principal," he confirmed as he checked his phone.

"Thanks, Mister Aizawa!" Rebecca exclaimed gratefully.

"Well, Eri, what do you think?" Izuku asked, hopeful that the little girl would be willing to come to the school for the festival.

"You know, a minute ago… when I didn't know your names…" she began as she lowered her gaze for a moment, "I was really sad and didn't know what to do…" she confessed, "Because I knew more than anything… I just wanted to be friends with the people who helped me…!" she proclaimed to her rescuers. They all smiled.

"We should start putting together a case for the principal!" Mirio insisted, "That way, we'll be certain to get Eri to UA!" he affirmed, "I'm on leave from school right now, so we can totally hang out before our festival date!" he pointed out to the little girl.

"Might wanna rephrase that…" Rebecca advised.

"Excuse me," Pino chimed in, getting the group's attention, "I do appreciate what you are trying to do for Eri," she pointed out, "but I also understand that your school is under heavy protection due to incidents you have suffered in the past," she told them, causing them to blink in surprise, "Therefore…" she continued, turning to Shota, "would you allow for me to come to UA so that I may evaluate its safety?" she requested.

"Pino…" the horned girl uttered out.

"Hearing that everyone wants to make you smile again has given me the courage to do whatever it takes," the little android noted aloud, "I want to make sure they are doing their best for your sake," she affirmed, smiling herself.

"Well, taking you back to UA shouldn't be too much of a problem," Shota confirmed, "That said, we will need to have you stay somewhere for the time being," he pointed out, "Bluegarden, would you be willing to take her of her?" he inquired of the Cat Leaper Quirk user.

"Of course!" she responded, "Anything to help make the festival all the more fun!" she added firmly. Eri stared at her in amazement and awe. She recalled seeing her white hair that was almost just like hers when she had assumed her Overdrive form.

'You'll meet her someday…' the voice of her mother echoed in her head. A strange feeling was building up inside of her. Though it wasn't fear or guilt. It was something… nice.

"Kurogiri's still not back yet, huh?" Spinner inquired from the dusty and drab warehouse he and the rest of the League were using for a base, as their old hideout was still under police surveillance.

"Shura's still gone, too," Daichi pointed out.

"Where'd he end up running off to?" Compress inquired.

"Apparently, he wanted to settle things with the group that ambushed Toga the other day," Maria answered, glancing over to the Transform Quirk user as she was inspecting the needles of her injectors, which were somewhat chipped.

"Quite a noble thing to do for a young lady…" the masked man remarked.

"I think it's more to settle the score between him and those Oceans creeps," the Slime Quirk user noted, folding her arms over her chest, "He did make himself pretty well-known for siding with us," she pointed out.

"Poseidon Nero's son, huh?" Spinner chimed in as he walked over, "Well, I guess adopted might be the correct term…" he added, putting his hands onto his hips, "I heard he used to be a champion among heteromorphic-types," he mentioned.

"Is he even considered heteromorphic?" Compress inquired, "Appearances aside, his Quirk is—" At that moment, a door nearby opened, getting their attentions. They looked over to see Tomura walking out alongside Twice and Fie.

"Well… did it work?" Maria asked.

"No," the leader answered, removing the lone hand from his face, "Twice can't replicate the bullets," he confirmed, looking back at the Double Quirk user as he ashamedly lowered his head, "We're still stuck," he said, walking over to the couch and sitting down.

"Well, poo," Himiko grumbled, "And after all that effort…" she muttered on.

"I'm so sorry, Shigaraki… Toga…" Twice apologized ashamedly.

"Hey, dat stuff's complicated," Fie pointed out, putting a hand onto his shoulder, "You's don't need ta feel bad when we's got ta figure out somethin' else," he advised of him.

"What about whatever Kurogiri is after?" Compress inquired curiously.

"Haven't heard from him…" Tomura confirmed.

"Or Shura?" Maria asked.

"No," the Decay Quirk user answered.

"Then we really are stuck in a rut…" Spinner grumbled, "And where the hell is Dabi?" he inquired aloud, looking around.

"Out and about, I suppose," Compress answered, "He doesn't exactly seem too fond of us…" he noted additionally.

"Um… guys…?" Daichi uttered as he was looking outside with shaking eyes. The others looked over, widening their eyes in disbelief. Lying just outside the warehouse was a bloodied and beaten Shura.

"Shura!" Twice exclaimed as he ran out with Fie, Himiko, and Maria in tow, while the others looked on in disbelief.

"What in the hell happened ta him of all people…?" the Flame Ammo Quirk user wondered aloud as his eyes shook.

"Maybe it was that dastardly Crimson…" Compress suggested, approaching with Tomura, Spinner, and Daichi. The Decay Quirk user looked down at the bloodied man, followed by noticing an object beside him. It appeared to be a voice recorder, which he picked up.

"What's that?" the lizard-like man asked upon spotting the object in his hand. He pressed the play button.

"If you're listening to this, you must've found my son, League of Villains," Nero's voice echoed from the recorder. Everyone aside from Tomura flinched.

"That… voice belongs to…" Compress started to realize as he trembled a little.

"Poseidon Nero…" Maria finished for him, with beads of sweat rolling down her head.

"Shura here decided to officially cut ties with my empire and join you," the Oracion Seis member noted, "Seems he feels more at place with a ragtag group of hoodlums than his own father," he mentioned on, "Nevertheless, I've honored his request with this parting gift…" he continued, while Tomura looked down at the injured Satan Gravity Quirk user, "Consider this your second offense," he stated, "Your interference from here on out will no longer be tolerated," he firmly declared. The recording then ended.

"He's mouthing off to a fellow Oracion Seis, huh?" the League's leader presumed.

"I don't think you should be taking this lightly, Shigaraki…" Spinner insisted, "Poseidon Nero's a huge figure in Japan…" he pointed out seriously, "I'm sure he wouldn't hesitate to have us killed on the spot…" he mentioned grimly.

"Ergh…" Shura suddenly groaned out.

"Shura!" Twice exclaimed.

"Hey, take it easy…" Fie insisted, seeing the Satan Gravity Quirk user try to get back up.

"That… damn… bastard…!" he whimpered out with tears pricking his eyes, "I swear… I'm gonna kill him…!" he vowed. Tomura narrowed his eyes. Clearly, he was getting himself thrust into a larger world. Only time would tell if he and his comrades would be able to handle it.

ENDING

Insert "Shikisai" by Yama

Opens with Rebecca waking up for the day in her dorm room, tiredly crawling out of her bed. She makes it to the bathroom, only to widen her eyes with terror at the sight of how messy her hair is. Luckily, a comb is passed to her from Tsuyu, who she thanks.

Later that morning, Rebecca enjoys her breakfast before being given a cup of tea made by Momo. What follows is her going over to play a video game with Mina and Toru on the Switch before they have to go class. It rains on the way, though Rebecca forgot her umbrella. Thankfully, Mezo comes over, using his patagia to shield her from raindrops.

In the classroom, she talks with both Tenya and Shoto about studying, asking them for pointers. As Shota walks in to start class, she scurries back to her seat, only to find a note there. She opens it up and smiles to see that it's from Izuku, who she shoots a smile toward.

In the afternoon during lunch, Kyoka saves her a seat in the cafeteria. She's also kind enough to shoo away a pesky Minoru, though he was only making sure Rebecca didn't touch a piece of gum left under the table. As the class returns from lunch, the Cat Leaper Quirk user trips by accident, only to end up caught by Mashirao's tail. The two of them share a smile and then a laugh.

During hero training, Rebecca gets the chance to spar against Ochaco, Hanta, and Homura. She weaves past the Zero Gravity Quirk user, evades the tape of Hanta, and then closes in to land a kick on the crossed blades of Homura, who cracks a grin. The four of them continue as All Might, Witch and Shota watch on.

Yuga later offers Rebecca some cheese as a snack, which she happily accepts. She also goes the development studio with Weisz and Denki, as the three of them are met with an explosion as a dirtied Mei laughs sheepishly. With a long day nearly done, Rebecca returns to the dorms to find Koji there with his bunny in hand, allowing her to pet it warmly. She then goes over to Rikido, asking him about a favor.

Once dinner's over, Rebecca puts on an apron and starts baking, whisking eggs and mixing flour with water. Fumikage and Eijiro watch on curiously with intrigue, followed by Katsuki approaching. He takes a taste of the batter to Rebecca's shock and anger, only for her to realize that she almost missed adding some vanilla. After a little while, she pulls out a baking sheet from the oven with several cookies upon it, decorating them for Halloween.

As the class goes ahead and partakes in her baked goods, the Cat Leaper Quirk goes over and offers Izuku a treat in the shape of a heart. He smiles and blushes, eagerly eating it. Afterwards, the whole class gets themselves ready for a movie night. Shiki floats over with a bowl of popcorn and other snacks, landing on the couch between Ochaco and Momo. With the remote in her hand, Rebecca presses the play button… and the screen goes black.

END ENDING

What a ride it's been so far, huh? Next chapter should be a little more mellow in terms of action, but there'll be a lot of fun character moments. I'm really looking forward to what you'll think of it when it comes out!

Thanks for reading, everyone!
