Chapter One: Solitary Confinement

Genma Saotome stood in the shadows as he saw the police car that his daughter was passenger in driving off in the distance. He scratched his bald head. He wore a white bandana. His black eyes showed his joy. He wore a white Gi, black socks, and sneakers. He chuckled as he remained hidden from view. He saw the owner close her door.

"Good," Genma chuckled to himself. He left the shadows. "My child was too careless getting cursed at Jusenkyo," as he smiled evilly and cruelly. "I won't have some half male/female freak running around as my flesh and blood."

Genma walked down the quiet neighborhood sidewalk. He reached a bend of rocks and a cliff. He saw his parked black car. He unlocked it.

"It was easy to trick her to go to United States with me," chuckled Genma as he got in the driver's seat. "To go somewhere in New York State, give her two sleeping pills, and get her arrested." He buckled up. He pulled up his smartphone as he looked through his contacts.

(All I have to do is wait until the girl has her first period. She'll be locked as a female for life as a result.) Genma thought. (Then I'll just have one of my associates punish her more...)

Ranma's hands were bound behind her in handcuffs. Her blond hair hung below her back. Her blue eyes squinted at the barely lit corridors of the Woman's Correctional Prison Facility. She wore her Chinese red-shirt and black pants. She wore black socks and sneakers.

A female prison guard held her right arm as she guided her inmate. Her brown hair hung below her shoulders. Her brown eyes twinkled in joy at another prisoner to lock up. She wore a black and blue prison uniform. She wore black socks and sneakers.

Behind the first guard another female prison guard followed behind. Her black hair remained tied to a ponytail. Her black eyes were waiting for any chance to mete out any punishment if her prisoner misbehaved. She wore the same prison uniform as her partner.

They walked down a long hallway. They reached a room. The first guard let go of Ranma and the other held Ranma's left arm. She opened the door.

"In you go," the first female guard called out to Ranma as she pushed the blond-haired girl into the room. The second guard stood by the door while the first guard removed Ranma's handcuffs. She turned around and walked to the door.

"Get changed now," ordered the second guard. "There is a bra, panties, female orange prison jumpsuit, socks, shoes, toiletries, and other supplies girl," as she laughed. "You got two minutes to get changed," as both female guards left the room.

"What's going on?" Ranma asked. She heard the door close, and she heard the door lock.

(Two minutes?) Ranma thought as she saw the piles of clothes. (I guess I have no choice.) She took her clothes off. She grabbed the panties. She gently put one foot in the panties, and then the other. She slid them up, till they reached her butt, covering her ass.

(How do I put this one on? She looked at the bra.) She saw the cups. (Oh, I see.) She grabbed her bra, unhooked it, and wrapped the cups around her breasts, before hooking the bra straps behind her.

She grabbed the female orange prison jumpsuit and put it on. She put the socks on, lastly the shoes, and put them on just as the door opened and the two female guards walked in. One held her as the other handcuffed her once again.

(What did those two sleeping pills do to me?) Ranma thought. She once more felt her hands handcuffed behind her back. (I can't muster any of my strength to resist.)

"Don't struggle girl," ordered the first female guard. "As you can see you got nowhere to run." The second guard led her to the door as the first grabbed her toiletries and supplies. Her former clothes were left behind.

"What will happen to my clothes?" Ranma asked as she was led down the hall.

"They'll be incinerated," replied the first female guard as she giggled. "Not like where you are going, you'll ever need them again."

"Too funny," joined in the second female guard. "Oh, but don't worry girl," as she applied strength to Ranma's right arm that she held. "You'll be here a long time. A long time."

(Incinerated? That's not normal.) Ranma thought. She grimaced in pain when the second guard squeezed her right arm. (I don't know what to do. My brain is telling me if I fight. Things will get worse.) She shook her head. (Not like things have been great since Jusenkyo…)

Ranma was led down a long hall, through a set of double doors that led her down a long path. One of the guards opened another set of double doors with a passcode and led her further down a hall. They turned down a left path until Ranma saw the deepest parts of the solitary confinement ward. They approached an empty cell and pushed her in.

"In you go," gushed the second guard. Ranma walked into her cell as she looked around the cell room. "I Hope you enjoy your stay in this Woman's Correctional Prison Facility."

"Here's your stuff girlie," added the first guard as put the supplies on the floor. She took the handcuffs off Ranma, left the cell, closed the door, and locked her in the cell.

(Prison.) Ranma thought. (Just great. I am in a woman's prison somewhere in New York State.) She shrugged her shoulders. (I don't even remember the last few hours.) Her eyes began to grow misty eyed. (Last thing I remember was taking sleeping pills at the campsite.)

Ranma walked away from the bars to her bunk on the right. To her left she saw a toilet. On the upper left area, she saw a locker. She heard the guards' footsteps get further away…

(Well, I guess I will wait till they process me.) Ranma thought. She took a deep breath. She sighed. (I need to figure out what crime it is that I allegedly committed.) Ranma looked all around her and saw that every cell in her eyeline was empty. (I don't hear anyone.) She walked around for a few minutes.

(If I don't get out of here soon.) Ranma thought. She lightly touched her chest. She looked down at her body. (I'll be female for life.) She walked to the cell door. (Once my period starts.) She touched the prison cell bars. (That's what the Jusenkyo Guide warned me about.)

(These cell bars are too strong for me to damage.) Ranma thought. She shook her head in sadness, fear, and confusion. (So, I really am stuck. I've gotten weak due to not training since I fell in the cursed pool at Jusenkyo. I'm in trouble. I guess all I can do now is hope someone helps me before it's too late.)

(I'm so scared.) Ranma thought as she lay down on the bed and slowly closed her eyes. She breathed in slowly. (Am I the only prisoner here in this area of the prison?) She sighed. (I don't even have someone to talk to? What is going on?) She began to cry.

(No one said anything to me.) Ranma thought as her eyes began to droop. She slowly began to drift off to sleep. (What did I do to end up here?) She closed her eyes and fell asleep…

Genma sat before a man in a well put office. Genma's partner had short black hair and black eyes. He wore a black business suit, pants, black socks, and dress shoes. He lit a cigar. Paintings of different women in various dresses hung around the room.

"Mr. Redstone," began Genma as he smiled at his partner. "Can I count on you to keep Ranma in solitary confinement for ninety-eight days?"

"Of course," replied Mr. Redstone. "I have Warden Meg Yeller on the payroll," as he grinned evilly. "Your daughter won't leave that cell besides maybe to see the prison therapist one time and a cold shower every three days."

"Perfect," laughed Genma as he chuckled.

"Even better," added Mr. Redstone. "She's the only one in the solitary confinement ward and there are showers in the solitary ward too," as he laughed. "She won't leave that area at all since it also has a therapist office. We had a deal, right?"

"Yes," cheered Genma. "You keep her there and make her as miserable as possible." He took a swig of sake that he had on him. "I'm so disappointed that she didn't pay attention to the fight at Jusenkyo. Now she can be a lowly sex toy for men."

"I've seen her photo," gushed Mr. Redstone. "She's a real cutie after that number of days in prison she'll be easy for me to mold into the perfect girl for me," as he grinned. "Once I have claimed her in the bedroom, I'll pay everything you have asked for," as he grinned with a lusty face. "If she's a virgin I'll triple the pay."

"You got a deal," laughed Genma. "Have you been in contact with Japanese Authorities as I have requested?"

"I have," replied Mr. Redstone. "As far as they know now. No Ranma Saotome exists due to the records of her that my organization destroyed," as he smiled. "So, no one will vouch for her till it is too late for her," as both men laughed evilly once more.

(Good.) Genma thought. (If I couldn't get Ranma to make my life easy as my son. Then my daughter will do it with her body.)

Ranma was led down a hall the next morning by two female guards. Once more her hands were behind her bound in handcuffs. She was led down the left hall and led into an office. The door was open, and she was led down to see a prison therapist. Ranma saw a woman in a black business suit, pants, socks, and sneakers.

Her brown hair was tied into a bun. Her brown eyes saw Ranma being forced to sit on the chair by the two guards. The guards left the room and closed the door.

"Hello, I am Mrs. Williams. A prison therapist," began Mrs. Williams as she had her hands work her at her computer. "I work for this Woman's Correctional Prison Facility. Perhaps you can explain some things for me," as she looked up at the blond-haired girl in the orange prison jumpsuit. "For starters. Who are you?"

"My name's Ranma Saotome," replied Ranma.

"I see," sighed Mrs. Williams. "Well, that's a start, I guess. Your case is unusual. I see you have yet to be booked at the local jail," as she scowled. "You were sent directly to this Woman's Correctional Prison Facility," as she typed on her computer. A moment later. "Nope. No Ranma Saotome is even listed anywhere. Not even in Japan," as Ranma shifted in her seat.

(This situation sucks.) Ranma thought. (I can't even use my hands.) Ranma gasped as she looked up in shock. (Why is my name not listed anywhere? What is going on?)

"It's like you do not have any records anywhere at least none that I have found as of yet," explained Mrs. Williams. She looked up at the younger female. "Perhaps you can help answer some more questions. "What were you doing in that house?"

"The last thing I remember is Pops saying I was tired," explained Ranma. "So, he gave me two sleeping pills. I fell asleep at our campsite outside a town," as she let the confusion and fear on her face be apparent. "Next thing I remember is waking up and being arrested as a girl in a house I had never been in before," as she took a short breath.

"Hmm," replied Mrs. Williams as she saw Ranma's confusion and fear. "The early lab reports we got suggests you had drugs in your system," as she saw Ranma gasp. "What happened before the campsite?"

"Well…" stuttered Ranma as she looked thoughtful. "We were in China. Pops and I were on a training trip."

"I see," exhaled Mrs. Williams. "Go on." She folded her arms on her lap and began to look annoyed at Ranma…

"We arrived at Jusenkyo," began Ranma. "I fell into Nyannīchuan, otherwise known as the Spring of drowned Girl, where after everything began to go wrong." A single tear fell off her face. "When splashed with cold water I turn to a girl, back to boy with hot water."

"Are you saying you were born a male?" Mrs. Williams asked as she looked on in shock.

"I was," sobbed Ranma. "After I fell in Pops just stopped talking to me, stopped all my martial arts training, said I was a failure, and that I was no longer his child." She cried even harder. Her blue eyes looked at Mrs. Williams with a sad look. "That I was a disappointment for him," as she took a deep breath.

"That's…That is," yelled Mrs. Williams as she startled Ranma. The young blond-haired girl looked up in fear as Mrs. Williams shook her head. "No. I am not mad at you. I just can't comprehend how a parent could…" She sighed. "Keep going, Ranma."

"Well," exhaled Ranma. "When we got back to the boatyard at the docks; he changed our tickets to go to California in the United States," as she trembled in her seat.

"Was that unusual?" Mrs. Williams asked as she looked confused.

"Sure," replied Ranma. "Pops had no plans to go to the United States," as she looked even more confused. "When we got to California, he talked to the port authorities there for a while. I swear I saw him give them money," as she took a deep breath. "Then I was led to a car. I fell asleep. Next thing I knew I awoke on a plane."

"Let me guess," mused Mrs. Williams. "You arrived in New York City?"

"Aye," confirmed Ranma. "Pops, he hardly said anything. We drove in another car for hours until he stopped at the campsite," as she breathed again. "Next thing I know he says the first words to me after days," as she shivered. "That I was tired and well you know the rest…"

"Anything else?" Mrs. Williams asked as she typed on her computer. She looked at Ranma as she saw the young girl nod.

"Yes," replied Ranma. "He stopped the car often to take phone calls," as she looked mystified. "He never let me hear them. Twice he met someone after we arrived in New York."

"I've never heard a tale like this," sighed Mrs. Williams as she looked at the blond-haired girl. "Yet I don't think you are lying. It would certainly explain why your case is so unusual." She saw the young girl grow pale as she began to cry. "I think you've been set up."

"You mean Pops betrayed me?" Ranma asked as she cried harder.

"I'm sure," confirmed Mrs. Williams. "The multiple key lines to your story is: You said your father was disappointed in you after Jusenkyo, you went to New York," as she paused for a moment. "You fell asleep and woke up being arrested as a female."

"What happens next?" Ranma asked.

"Well," replied Mrs. Williams. "As I told you earlier you should have been placed in the local jail, booked, and appeared before a judge." She looked at the file. "How you got here is suspicious. You can't even leave until the warden signs off on that."

"I see," grumbled Ranma as her annoyance showed.

"All I can do," soothed Mrs. Williams. "Is to get the normal procedure going. Okay," as she shook her head. "In the meantime, I'll have to keep you locked up in solitary confinement since I can't override the warden. Sorry."

"I understand," sniffled Ranma as she made a pouty face.

"Last thing my girl," lectured Mrs. Williams. "At least for now. You should use a female name," as she saw Ranma looked on in horror. "You'll be here a while. The warden doesn't allow prisoners to use hot water at all."

"I always liked the name Masae, so I'll take the name Masae," replied Masae.

"Masae," gushed Mrs. Williams as she adjusted the name on the computer." She gave a nod. "I got one last question for you."

"Yes," Masae asked with confusion on her face. She took a deep breath and tried to relax as much as she could despite her predicament and hands in handcuffs behind her back.

"I notice you have a few American traits, girl," Mrs. Williams said. "Do you have any relatives who live in the United States?"

"I am told that my maternal grandmother married my maternal grandfather," replied Masae. "She was from the United States and moved to Japan as a young woman to marry a Japanese man." She took a deep breath. "I guess as a girl I inherited a few of her traits."

"I see," exhaled Mrs. Williams as she typed the answer down on her computer. She gave a nod and pressed a button. Two female guards arrived, and she saw them begin to escort the blond-haired girl back to her cell.

(Nothing about this situation smells right.) Mrs. Williams thought. (Why is Masae here at the Woman's Correctional Prison Facility?) She looked at her computer. (In solitary confinement no less.) She went back to work as she shook her head. (What is going on?)

Mrs. Williams stood before Warden Meg Yeller in her office. Mrs. Williams stared in shock as Warden Meg Yeller stood up, her white shirt and grey skirt showed off her body. Her black hair had a few grays. Her black eyes showed her anger.

"Clearly the girl," yelled Warden Meg Yeller. "Was lying. I am disappointed you tried to circumvent my authority," as she raised her fist in anger.

"All I am asking is that you follow procedures," shouted Mrs. Williams as she tried to stand her ground. "Miss Saotome has not even been booked yet."

"Of course, she has," lied Warden Meg Yeller. "The girl was found not to just have been breaking and entering, but she is a burglar, she stole from and threatened Mrs. Roberts," as she took a breath. "Mrs. Williams you are fired effective immediately," as she paused. Her face got very cruel. "Get out…Unless you want to be arrested."

(What?) Mrs. Williams thought as she left, not looking back. She walked over to her office. (Fired.) She touched her heart and felt it racing. (There is a plot going on. I just know it.) She picked up her purse and left her office, not even bothering to pack.

(I got to save that girl.) Mrs. Williams thought. (I will go and see the Corning City police chief.) She walked down the hall. (This screams of sexual grooming to me. Masae needs to be saved as soon as possible.)

(What else could it be?) Mrs. Williams thought as she saw the exit. (Why else would you stick any female in solitary confinement for no reason?) She got in her car. Her heart raced faster. (I'm in danger I fear.) She started up her car and drove off as fast as she could away from the Woman's Correctional Prison Facility. (Hopefully the police chief will listen to me...)

Masae lay down on her bed and looked up at the ceiling. She took a deep breath. She eventually put her feet down on the floor and stood up.

(How many days have I been here?) Masae thought as she walked around. (A week? Two weeks? Could be even longer.) She walked over to her bed and sighed. (I'm no longer sure.)

(I've been here for so long.) Masae thought. (The only human contact I have is the female guards and that is…) She trembled in her loneliness and fear. (When they bring me clean clothes every day, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and fresh supplies.) She sighed as she held her hands to head as she tried to calm herself down. (Or when I get a cold shower every few days.)

(They treat me well I guess besides the fact I have no freedom.) Masae began to cry. (I have no one to talk to.) Her body shook from the sadness of her isolation. (I'm just here by myself. I have nothing to do. There are no sounds either, just empty silence.) She lay down on the bed as tears fell off her face.

(How weak have I gotten?) Masae thought. She wiped a tear away. (I don't have much time left.) Her eyes began to droop. (Any longer and my period will begin.) She breathed heavily. (Then I will be a girl forever.) Masae slowly began to relax.

(I'd like any contact with anyone.) Masae thought. She touched her face. (Even with a boy.) She sat up. (Wait? What did I just think?) She touched her chest as her heartbeat faster.

(I'm changing. I know it.) Masae thought as she sighed. (Face it Masae, I should consider that this will end with you as a female for life.) She laid back down and closed her eyes. (I don't have much more time to go. I can only hope someone, anyone, saves me before it happens…)

Masae lay on the prison bed as she winced in pain. She touched her stomach as she writhed in more pain. She took a deep breath as she began to realize her current situation.

(Another cramp.) Masae thought. (I feel bloated.) She sat up and stood up a few seconds later. (Is it too late? Did my period start?) She walked over to the lockers to look at her pile of supplies inside. (Do I have anything to help?) She looked at her supplies, she saw toilet paper, and she saw several packs of pads.

"I guess I should check," sighed Masae. She grabbed a pack of toilet paper, a pad, and walked over to the toilet. She sat down. "Let's see," as she took off her jumpsuit. She pulled down her panties and saw some blood on them.

(I knew it.) Masae began to cry. (It's too late. I'm a girl for the rest of my life.) She stared at the pad's instructions before her. (My period has begun. I've been feeling very irritable the last few days, have had a few cramps, and now I been feeling bloated.) She wiped a few tears away from her flushed face. (I got to stay focused. I can cry about being a girl for life later.)

"How do I use the pad?" Masae asked between tears as her ears picked up sounds of footsteps walking to her cell.

(Oh no.) Masae thought as she pulled up her underwear and got her prison jumpsuit back on. (I'll leave the toilet paper here, but I'll take the pad with me.) She stood up and walked over to her dirty clothes pile. (I hope one of the female guards will teach me how to use the pads.) She picked them up and walked to the cell bars when the guards arrived.

"Hand us the dirty clothes girl," ordered the first female guard. Masae handed the guards her dirty pile.

"Here," Masae replied as they handed her clean clothes and fresh supplies. The female guards began to leave. "Wait. My period started. Can I be shown how to use the pads?" The guards turned around and walked to the cell door.

"Really?" The second guard asked as she smirked. "Baby girl doesn't know?"

"Please," begged Masae as she cried.

"Here," sighed the first guard. "Hand me a pad and panties," as Masae did so. "Pay attention girl. I'll only do this once," as she put the pad on the panties. "Do you get it?"

"Yes. Thanks," replied Masae as she took the panties. She the guards walk off...

(At least I was taught.) Masae thought, She returned to the toilet. She took off her jumpsuit again and pulled down her underwear once more. (Luckily the bleeding is light for now.) Masae thought. She cleaned herself up.

Masae took off the panties and put on the clean one with the pad on her. She took off her dirty bra and put her new one on. Lastly, she put on her clean prison jumpsuit and put the dirty clothes in the dirty pile spot that she decided on.

(I held out hope beyond even more hope I'd have someone save me before my period started.) Masae thought as she walked over to her bed. (I should lay down.) Masae laid down on the bed. (Now I have to keep on top of my period.) Masae lightly cried.

(It'll be up to me to keep myself from getting infected.) Masae thought as she began to close her eyes lightly. She winced at the pain and uncomfortableness of her period. She slowly began to fall asleep.

(I may be a girl for life at this prison now, but I don't plan on dying here too.) Masae thought. She touched her chest. (At this point I want to live. Even if I am female.) Masae touched her stomach and winced.

(I'm only sixteen years old.) Masae thought. (I have a lot to live for still.) She lightly smiled. She wiped away her tears. (I hope at least I can get out of here and move on with my life even if I have to be a girl.)

"I want to live more," claimed Masae. Her eyes remained closed. "I have more I want to do, accomplish, see, and experience," as she shifted slightly on her bed. "I won't lose here. I've come too far to fall now," as she slowly fell asleep.

Mrs. Williams walked out of her car and walked to a door. She stood next to Police Chief Johnson. The older man wore a blue vest, black pants, black socks, and dress shoes. His gray hair knotted on his face. His black eyes and skin showed his age.

{Knock. Knock.}

They saw Linda open the door to her home. She wore a low-cut white shirt, a blue skirt, and blue socks.

"Hello Mrs. Williams. Police Chief Johnson," gushed Linda. "You got here quick. That's good. I have something to show you," as she led them in. "I review my videos every month with the surveillance video. It even records voices," as she sighed. She closed her door. "I wish I only checked the videos a lot sooner."

"Let's see it," exhaled Police Chief Johnson as they all sat down. Linda held a remote in her hand. She pressed a button.

The video began to play: A few seconds into the video a window in the living room was opened up. Genma appeared in the video. He quietly walked to the front door. Opened it up, left the house, and returned a moment later carrying a black-haired pigtailed boy fast asleep. The boy wore Chinese red-shirt, black pants, black socks, and black shoes.

Genma carried the sleeping boy over to the couch and laid him down on it. Genma left the house and returned with a cup of water. Genma splashed the boy with the water, and the boy turned into a blond-haired girl before them all. She was still fast asleep.

"Perfect," mumbled Genma. "She'll be caught for sure," as he laughed. "I have no use for my stupid son now. Soon she'll be arrested," as he growled.

Genma spent a moment glaring at his child. He shook his head, raised his fist in the air. He looked to the right and took a deep breath.

"Ninety-Eight days in solitary confinement shall break her mind," added Genma. "And my associate will have fun molding her to be a perfect sex toy for men to play with," as he smiled very evilly.

Mrs. Williams and Police Chief Johnson's eyes grew wide as they heard that. Meanwhile, Linda shook her head sadly as it was not the first time, she ever saw the video…

"It is after all the girl's own stupid fault for falling into Nyannīchuan otherwise known as the Spring of drowned Girl at Jusenkyo," continued Genma. "This shall be the perfect punishment for her," as he growled.

Genma walked over to the window and closed it. He went to the front door, locked it, and closed the front door.

"Ahhhhhhh," yelled Genma. The video ended and Linda paused the recordings, turned off her television and looked at her two guests.

"Oh, dear god," gasped Mrs. Williams as she raised her right arm to her face. "So, what Masae said was true," as she began to cry. She wiped away a tear. "How long ago did she get arrested Linda?"

"Twenty-seven days ago," replied Linda said. "She's got to get out soon before they complete their plan," as she saw Police Chief Johnson begin to think.

"I agree," Police Chief Johnson as he looked thoughtful. "I got it. The warden has to answer to the governor," as he saw the other two nod in agreement. "I'll call up the Corning City mayor who can call the governor," as he pulled out his smartphone.

(At first, I thought Mrs. Williams was just an ex-disgruntled employee.) Police Chief Johnson thought. (I'm glad I didn't go with my first gut instinct.)

(Luckily Police Chief Johnson listened to me.) Mrs. Williams thought as she felt her heart continue to race. (How could any man do that to his own child. So evil…)

Linda sat in a chair in an office with Mr. Johnson, Mrs. Williams, and an unknown woman. She had short black hair falling behind her back. Her black eyes radiated warmth. She wore a ruby blouse, skirt, socks, and black high heels.

"Linda," began Police Chief Johnson. "I'd like you to meet Senator Wendy Manawell for the state of New York."

"Hello," gushed Linda with a smile.

"Pleased to meet you in person, Linda," chirped Senator Manawell as she shook Linda's hand. "We talked on the phone earlier."

"Aye. Hello. Nice to meet you," exhaled Linda as she looked serious. "On the phone I discussed adopting Masae into my family with you," as she saw Senator Manawell nod. "I want to help her. My husband Isaac agrees."

"That's great," praised Senator Manawell. "I talked with Child Protective Services and the Department of Immigration," as she sighed. "Based on the fact that Mrs. Williams could not find a Ranma Saotome in Japan at all." She paused. "And my earlier phone call with the prime minister of Japan." She shook her head. "We have no idea what age Miss Saotome actually is..."

"Are you concerned she may be under eighteen?" Linda asked as she gasped.

"Yes. It is very possible," replied Senator Manawell with a frown. "We've found out that Genma Saotome is a known friend to a Mr. Redstone," as she sighed. "He's a known businessman in this state. Federal authorities are investigating him."

"What kind of investigation?" Mrs. Williams asked as she looked worried.

"Mr. Redstone is a suspected leader in a human trafficking ring in the United States," replied Senator Manawell as she sighed. "Which is a subset we believe to a greater international human trafficking ring that is run globally."

"Senator?" Police Chief Johnson asked. She looked at him. "Do you have anything else on them?"

"Yes," replied Senator Manawell. "What's worse is the human trafficking ring's primarily target is teen girls between the ages of fourteen to nineteen," as she took a few moments pause. "Girls who are isolated, have bad parents, bad homes, and amongst other horrible conditions they face in their young lives."

"That's awful," growled Linda as she did her best to try and stay calm.

"Sadly," explained Senator Manawell. "They've found it easier to manipulate girls at those ages and their horrible lives," as she wiped away a tear. "Girls like Masae who are more likely to be missed by the government," as she shook her head. "Until long after aid could ever arrive to help them out of their situation."

"No doubt Mrs. Williams stumbled upon their operation when she interviewed Masae," sighed Police Chief Johnson as he shook his head.

"We've gotten a big lead into them half a year ago which prompted the investigation," exhaled Senator Manawell as she waved her hand to her face. "Luckily this case with Masae will help us catch them."

"Do you think Warden Meg Yeller is working with the human trafficking ring?" Mrs. Williams asked as she saw Senator Manawell nod. "I thought so."

"It's the likely answer," confirmed Senator Manawell. "That's why the government is not assuming Masae is an adult female," as she trembled in rage. "We think Masae is in there as a part of their human trafficking ring plot to weaken her will." She wiped away a tear. "Until she won't be able to resist their advances at all," as she took a breath.

"That does not sound good at all," gasped Mrs. Williams as she gasped in horror. "We must save that girl."

"Aye," agreed Senator Manawell. "Sadly, all the evidence we've gathered heavily suggests this," as she shook her head. "We must hurry."

"Aye. That's not good," agreed Police Chief Johnson. "If that is true than it explains how Miss Saotome was just directly sent to the Woman's Correctional Prison Facility," as he did his best to remain calm. "Bypassing a lot of laws and regulations."

"What's the next step?" Linda asked as she grew anxious.

"Well," began Senator Manawell as she pulled out adoption paperwork. "If Masae is under eighteen," as she focused on Linda. "And if we find evidence that Masae was arrested to be taken by these men in their plan," as she took a deep breath. "Then it makes sense. Linda?"

"Yea?" Linda asked.

"I agree that you not only adopt Masae," replied Senator Manawell. "However, I think she should take your last name," as she handed the documents to Linda. "I need you to sign on the bottom," as Linda signed. "Good. Now. I got a federal warrant in the process of being signed by a federal judge to raid the Woman's Correctional Prison Facility."

"We should have the federal warrant by tonight," added Police Chief Johnson. "If all goes well, we'll raid the place on Thursday Morning, at 6:00 A.M."

"In the meantime," soothed Senator Manawell. "I'll run this to Child Protective Services to begin the process of adoption," as she faced Linda again. "Linda, have your husband meet me there so he can sign it too," as she smiled. "They'll run this to the courts after an emergency court session due to the very unusual circumstances."

"I'll give him a call," replied Linda as Senator Manawell nodded. "Senator?"

"Sounds good. Yea?" Senator Manawell asked.

"When my husband and I learned what Genma Saotome had done we decided to move," explained Linda. "It's reasonable to assume any of the human traffickers know where we live," as Senator Manawell nodded. "It would be dangerous for us to adopt Masae and live in that home. I own a home in Angel Grove in California," She took a breath. "We want to be safe."

"That's a smart idea," praised Senator Manawell. "We'll do what we can to avoid the media finding out so Masae can just slip underneath their radar," as everyone gave a nod.

(After all we don't need them hounding her for interviews and everything else.) Senator Manawell thought. (I'd rather Masae never learn what those people planned for her. Never.) She took a deep breath and wiped her tears away. She steeled herself. (It's just such a shame that Masae was even wrapped up in their plot to begin with.)

Masae heard the pair of female guards walking closer to her cell as she lay on the bed. She heard her cell open; the sounds of the food being placed down. She heard the cell door close.

(I'm not really hungry.) Masae thought as her stomach growled. (Ugh. I guess I'll eat a little bit.) She raised her right hand in the air in her frustration. (Why me?) She put her hand back down and shook her head.

Masae stood up and walked over to the bowl of pudding and a sandwich with a bottle of water. She carried them over to the bed and sat down. Masae slowly ate the pudding until she was done eating it.

(At least that quieted down my stomach.) Masae thought. She ate half the sandwich and took a few sips of her water. (Normally I would eat this whole sandwich without a second thought.) She winced in pain from the cramps.

(I just don't feel like eating. Not with being on my period.) Masae thought as she looked around the empty prison. (If only I had another person to talk to.) She wiped away a tear. (This wouldn't be so bad if I had someone, anyone to talk to.)

Masae walked over to the dirty pile, held her half eaten sandwich, placed it in her dirty pile, and walked over to the bed. She lay on her bed.

(This is horrible. I am not as hungry as I should be.) Masae thought. (I am starting to run out of pads. I had over dozens of them when it started and now, I am down to just a few.) She closed her eyes. (I thought I could keep up. They didn't give me enough supplies.)

(What will I do if I run out of pads?) Masae thought. (Is this where I die due to an infection because I didn't get enough pads?) Masae brushed a tear out of her eyes and sighed.

Masae felt tears flowing down her face. She struggled to find a spot to get comfortable on her prison bed.

(Will I just die here alone in this prison all by my lonesome?) Masae thought. She sniffed and touched her stomach. (Is this how I'll be found?) She wiped away a tear as she trembled in fear, shame, and slight hunger. (Just a young female. Dead in her cell by massive infection.)

(There was so much I didn't even get to do.) Masae thought as she kept crying. (I never got to kiss, date, have sex.) She held her heart as she felt it beat faster.

(Gotten married, gotten pregnant, had kids.) Masae thought as her face showed her sadness. (Or done anything else that would be a milestone for females. I'm so sad. This is how it'll end. I just don't see much more hope. Not anymore.)

Masae's eyes remained staring at the ceiling of her prison cell. She touched her tender stomach, wiped away a few tears. Slowly, she cried herself to sleep…

Inside the main ward of the Woman's Correctional Prison Facility. Linda followed behind Police Chief Johnson, Senator Manawell, and Mrs. Williams. In addition, dozens of armed male and female police officers were nearby as well. Linda remained the only one in the group to not be armed with a gun.

"Linda," began Senator Manawell. "Stay here," as she directed her to a room full of couches. "I'd like to take you further in, but it will be chaos as we have to arrest a lot of people," as she saw Linda nod. "We'll be back with Masae. I promise you."

"Of course," obeyed Linda as Senator Manawell, Mrs. Williams, Mr. Johnson, and several police officers walked over to Warden Meg Yellers office.

"What the hell," Warden Meg Yeller yelled as she grew enraged.

"Warden Meg Yeller," boomed Police Chief Johnson with a serious voice. "You are under arrest."

"What is this?" Warden Yeller asked as two police officers handcuffed her and led her out of the room.

"Okay," ordered Senator Manawell. "Let's see if we can find what we need as they searched the office. A few minutes passed by when Mrs. Williams saw a letter…

"Hey," exhaled Mrs. Williams. "Read this. This is…" Police Chief Johnson and Senator Manawell ran over and began to read…

{Mr. Redstone,

Tuesday May 21st, 2024, 11:11 A.M.

I've done as you asked. I have left Masae Saotome as miserable as possible. She's only gotten four pads per day. The food intake was kept up, but we've kept it the same and as plain and simple as possible.

The solitary ward has been emptied of all personnel, including Mrs. Williams, who grew suspicious of our plot. I've had her fired. Sadly, my girls have failed to find her to be delivered to you as requested. Mrs. Williams is a slippery bitch.

Almost all the prison guards that deal with Masae are on our payroll. The one who was unaware of our plot, Tiffany Meadows showed Miss Saotome how to put her pad on her panties.

I've already arranged to have Miss Meadows to be sent to your mansion in two days. You can deal with her how you wish.

I am waiting for the first day for your men to arrive so they can begin to subjugate Masae into the early stages of being a sex toy for men. I think as fragile as that girl is, it should take just a session or so, but no more than three to make her willing and compliant to do everything she's told to do.

When she's ready the men will escort her out and I'll start to erase all files left of a Masae Saotome. No one will ever know she ever existed.

Signed,

Your trusted Ally,

Warden Meg Yeller}

"Oh my," Senator Manawell said as she grew red in the face. "We got to go now."

(I knew it.) Senator Manawell thought. (The pattern fits the evidence we've gotten on the human trafficking ring.) She left the room as the others followed.

"Right," urged Police Chief Johnson. He walked alongside Senator Manawell with purpose behind each of his steps.

"I know the way," exclaimed Mrs. Williams as she took the lead.

"Let's go," shouted Police Chief Johnson as he had the police officers follow them.

(We've got to get Masae out of there.) Police Chief Johnson thought as they walked along the path. (I can't believe that they did this.)

"Hurry," cried Senator Manawell.

(We got to save Masae.) Senator Manawell thought as she walked as fast as she could. Her eyes showed her fury. (The only good thing is we've now gotten more evidence to take down the human trafficking ring.) She walked past the first set of double doors. (At least they seem to be careless since Warden Meg Yeller left that letter right out in the open.)

Masae awoke to finding her cell door open as two men stood outside her cell. She had a scared look on her face as they grinned.

"She's a catch alright," whispered the first man. His bald head glimmered. His black eyes grew lusty as he saw Masae. He wore a white shirt, black pants, black socks, and sneakers.

"She is," agreed the second man as he whispered back. His short black hair hung on his head. His black eyes imagined playing with Masae's body. He wore a black shirt, shorts, socks, and sneakers.

"What do you want from me?" Masae asked as she panicked. Tears formed in her eyes.

(I couldn't hear anything they said.) Masae thought. (Not that it matters. Whatever it is they got planned is not good for me.) She whimpered. She backed up in fear on her prison bed.

(I am too weak, bloated, and all my cramps will make it impossible for me to protect myself.) Masae thought. She cringed. (Even if I got past them where would I go?) She cried as tears fell off her face. (Face it Masae, you are a girl now, weak, tired, sick, deep in a woman's prison, and in bigger trouble now. Ugh. Why me? Things just got much worse.)

"Don't worry girl," chirped the second man as he made motions with his hands. "You must be so alone. It's been twenty-eight days. Don't you want our company?"

"No," cried Masae. "I don't. I am feeling sick," as she began screeching in fear. "Please leave me alone. Help me," as she shivered in fear. Her heart began to beat very fast. "Anyone." Her screeching brought in her rescuers. She was so loud she did not hear anyone reach her cell.

"Hey," Mrs. Williams voice yelled out. "Stop right there," as the two men stared in shock at Mrs. Williams, Police Chief Johnson, Senator Manawell, and several police officers.

"How did they know?" The first man asked as he saw the armed group before him and his partner. "Well. Shoot. Our fun…"

"Take them in," Senator Manawell ordered. She stepped closer as the police officers began to arrest them. She walked closer. Her black dress glimmered in the softly lit corridors. Mrs. Williams walked into the cell. The police officers left with their prisoners.

"It's okay girl," soothed Mrs. Williams as she gave Masae a happy smile. "You are free."

"I'm free?" Masae asked as she shivered. "I'm so scared. What were they going to do to me?" Senator Manawell walked closer and wrapped her up with a blanket. "I've never been more terrified in my life as I am now."

"It's okay," gushed Senator Manawell. "You are safe. Let's get her out of here," as they led the blond-haired girl out of her former cell.

"Let's get going," agreed Mrs. Williams. "We are here to get you out of here," as she walked alongside Masae. The group began to walk out of the solitary ward.

"Thank you," sniffled Masae as she struggled to keep up with the adults. They left the solitary confinement ward. They kept walking and quickly passed by the set of double locked doors that needed the password.

"Are you okay?" Mrs. Williams asked as she looked at Masae. "You don't look too well, Masae," as she took a deep breath.

(She appears to be weak, tired, and exhausted.) Mrs. Williams thought. (Has her condition been worse than we thought?)

"I don't feel the greatest," confirmed Masae. She saw Mrs. Williams nod.

"She is Senator Manawell of New York," explained Mrs. Williams as she pointed to Senator Manawell. "He's the Corning Police Chief. Mr. Johnson," as she pointed to Police Chief Johnson behind her.

"Hello Senator Manawell," exhaled Masae. She faced Police Chief Johnson and gave him a smile. "Hello Mr. Johnson."

"Hello. Glad to meet you, Masae," Police Chief Johnson said.

"Hello Masae," soothed Senator Manawell. "I'm glad to have gotten here in time to stop those men," as she saw Masae nod.

"Me too," shivered Masae as her heart slowly began to beat less fast.

(I am glad to have gotten help.) Masae thought. (Though it came four days too late. My period started. I'm female now for life.) She took a deep breath as her heart began to slow down from all the fear she was under and all the screeching that she had done moments earlier.

(At least I got help.) Masae thought. Those looks the men gave me. Terrified me so much. I should just try not to think about it.) Her heart began to nearly beat its normal speed once more.

They walked along in the main ward of the Woman's Correctional Prison Facility when they saw Linda. She saw the blond-haired girl. She walked over and hugged Masae as the blanket fell to the floor. Senator Manawell picked up the blanket.

"I'm sorry," soothed Linda. "My name is Linda Roberts," as she took a breath. "I am the owner of the house along with my husband Isaac where you were arrested." She sighed and gave a slight smile. "You were set up. I'm so sorry."

"So, I'm free?" Masae asked as she trembled. She saw everyone around her nod to her question. "Thank you."

"Yes," Linda replied. "Would you like some hot water and change back to a boy?" She led Masae to a room with a few couches in it.

"I can't change back anymore," cried Masae. "I started my period four days ago," as she wept. "The Jusenkyo Guide warned Pops and me that if I stayed as a girl for too long and got my first period then," as she shivered. "I'd be female forever," as all the adults looked on in horror.

"As if it couldn't get worse," sighed Senator Manawell. She took a deep breath. She saw Masae sit down on the couch in the room. Linda sat down next to her. Masae bawled as the tears flowed down freely.

"I see," sighed Mrs. Williams. "I'm sorry to hear that," as she knelt before Masae. "Have you been taking care of yourself since it started Masae?" Police Chief Johnson was ushered out of the room by Senator Manawell.

"As much as I can," answered Masae. "I got limited supplies and it's been very difficult for me," as she held her hands to her face. "Only one of the female guards even helped me when it first started," as her faced turn redder by the second. "She showed me how to put on the pad onto my panties."

"Oh dear," softly said Senator Manawell as she looked at Masae. "Did you get any more help? Pain medication?"

"No," sobbed Masae. "I wasn't given any pain medication to reduce the pain from the cramps and bloating," as she cried more. "I was down to a few pads and one clean pair of panties left and…And…I was so terrified that I'd die from an infection," as she began to babble.

"Mrs. Williams can you grab two bowels with warm water, lots of towels, panties, new clothes, ibuprofen, and some pads for her?" Linda asked.

(Masae is in no state to care for herself right now. She's almost completely shut down.) Linda thought. (She needs help. She needs an adult to take charge.) She shook her head. (I've been through this with my daughter Rose.) She smiled. (She needs a firm hand from a mother.)

"Of course," gasped Mrs. Williams as she left the room with Senator Manawell.

"I'll help you, Masae," began Linda as she gently led the blond-haired girl to the bathroom. She led Masae to a stall and sat her gently down on a toilet. Mrs. Williams returned a few minutes later with Senator Manawell. They handed the supplies to Linda and left the bathroom a few seconds later. "It's just me now girl."

"It's embarrassing…" Masae began.

(I'm such a mess.) Masae thought. (I need help to clean up my body.) Her face showed her embarrassment. (I am just getting used to seeing my female body myself and now Linda is going to clean me.) Her tears continued to flow down her cheeks.

"It's okay," soothed Linda as she took off Masae's prison jumpsuit. "You need help my girl." Linda took off her panties and saw a large bloody mess. She grabbed a towel, wiped the girl clean as she gave her a sponge bath, dried her, placed a new pad on a pair of clean panties, and pulled up her new panties. Lastly, she zipped up the orange prison jumpsuit.

"I never would have imagined that I'd go through something so embarrassing," babbled Masae as her brain tried to comprehend her situation.

Linda threw the dirty panties away in the trash. She washed her hands and dried them off with a towel. She picked up the ibuprofen.

"Go ahead girl and wash your hands," ordered Linda. Masae stood up, walked over to the sink, washed her hands, and dried them.

"My hands are clean," sobbed Masae as she walked over to Linda. She looked up at her with her tear-stained blue eyes. Linda led the girl back to the empty room with the couches. Masae saw a red skirt and blue blouse on a table.

"All we have is this skirt and blouse," explained Linda as she looked apologetic. "Sorry I can try to get something else if you want, but no promises," as she saw Masae sniffle. "That they'll find something else for you to wear."

"It's okay. I'll wear the blouse and skirt," gushed Masae as her mind slowly began to clear from her mental haze. "Anything would be better than the prison jumpsuit," as she took off her orange prison jumpsuit. She put on the skirt and blouse. "Now what?"

"I'd like to help you Masae," replied Linda as she pulled out a small cup and poured the ibuprofen. "Take this ibuprofen girl. It'll help with the pain from your period."

"Thanks," Masae said. "It hurts," as she took the ibuprofen.

"Now considering you were alone for twenty-eight days," began Linda. "And mostly ran out of supplies. I think we need to get you to be looked at," as she stared at the girl. (Masae does look like she's under eighteen.) Linda thought. "Has anyone asked your age?"

"No," replied Masae. "I turned sixteen days before I got arrested."

"That's…That's," gasped Linda as she hugged her. Masae hugged her back.

(She's just a child.) Linda thought as she tried to stay calm. (We need to get her to the hospital as soon as possible.)

Linda led Masae out of the room and looked at the other adults in the room. She lightly sighed at Senator Manawell, Police Chief Johnson, and Mrs. Williams.

"Senator Manawell," began Linda as she did her best to stay calm for Masae's sake. "It is as you feared. Masae is sixteen years old," as she saw all the adults shake their heads.

"I had hoped that was not the case," raged Senator Manawell. "She should never have been sent here, much less been in solitary confinement all alone," as she steeled herself. "We need to get her looked over."

"Oh boy," sighed Police Chief Johnson. "I'll stay here, and I'll call for an ambulance to get here," as he pulled out his smartphone. "They should arrive when we leave. I'll catch up when I get off the phone."

"Let's go," ordered Senator Manawell. "I'm upset that this was allowed to go on," she smiled at Masae. "Sorry girl," as she sighed. She covered Masae with the blanket again. "We'll right this wrong," as they began to leave.

"Just relax child," soothed Mrs. Williams. She followed the group as they resumed leaving the room.

"Just hold my hand girl," exhaled Linda. "I am here for you, Masae," as she held out her hand for Masae to hold onto.

"Thanks," whimpered Masae. She held Linda's hand as she was led out of the Woman's Correctional Prison Facility. (I'm so glad that I had help.) Masae thought as she kept walking. She shook her head in embarrassment. (That was so embarrassing.)

"No problem," replied Linda as she smiled. (This girl has been through a lot.) Linda thought. (I'll keep her safe. After all I won't let her teen girl years go to waste like mine was...)

Masae walked alongside the adults as she held Linda's hand when she began to struggle with walking.

"Ow," groaned Masae. She fell on one knee as the blanket fell on the floor once more. "I can't go on."

"I was worried about this," exhaled Mrs. Williams. "She's been locked in a cell alone for almost a month," as she took a deep breath. "In the next room are hospital beds."

"We are near the exit," added Senator Manawell as she followed Mrs. Williams to the room over. They returned a moment later with a stretcher.

"Let's get you up," began Linda.

"I…" Masae muttered. She was scared as she tried to stand. "I can…"

"No child," ordered Linda. "I can see it in your face," as she and Mrs. Williams helped her on the stretcher. "You are weak. You need help." Linda and Mrs. Williams laid Masae onto the stretcher. They buckled her in and began to move the stretcher. Senator Manawell covered her with the blanket.

"It's alright Masae," soothed Senator Manawell. "You are beyond exhausted child," as she saw Masae nod in acknowledgment.

(I'm going to make sure that her father pays for his actions.) Senator Manawell thought. A few tears fell down her cheeks. She wiped them away quickly and steeled herself to be strong for Masae.

"Thanks," gushed Masae as the stretcher was pushed with her on it. She lay on her back on the stretcher as her pain began to fade thanks to the ibuprofen she took. Her mind began to clear as her fear of dying began to fade from her mind. She took several deep calming breaths as she reintegrated herself being around people once more.

(I am so glad.) Masae thought as the adults wheeled the stretcher she laid on. (I didn't know how much I'd miss people until I was alone all those days.) She sniffled and looked around her. (I feel blessed to have been saved. I only wish it was a few days earlier...)

They left the Woman's Correctional Prison Facility as they took the stretcher down the ramp outside the building. They reached the gate where a pair of female guards opened it. An ambulance pulled up nearby. Two paramedics got out, walked over, unbuckled the girl, placed her onto the ambulance stretcher, and buckled her up.

"Linda," exhaled Senator Manawell as she approached the woman. "Here's paperwork for Masae Saotome to be your temporary adopted child," as she pointed to it. "Go and take it," as she handed her the paperwork. "As we discussed we'd like her to take the name Masae Roberts due to the circumstances we've already talked about yesterday."

"Thank you," gushed Linda as she smiled. "That works for me. I want to protect the child from her birth father," as she shook her head. "Don't forget that because of these circumstances my husband and I plan to move to Angel Grove in California," as she saw Senator Manawell nod in understanding.

"You got your work cut out for you," mused Senator Manawell. "Of course, the government will do everything we can to help," as she did her best to smile. "When do you leave for Angel Grove, California?"

"We booked a flight Saturday at 9:30 P.M. It's where I grew up," replied Linda as she giggled. "Masae will be safer there. My childhood home is still in my family."

"That's perfect," chirped Senator Manawell. "I'd expect phone calls from the Department of Immigration, Corning Police Department, and Child Protective Services," as she shook Linda's hand. "I wish you luck taking care of, Masae. Bye Linda."

(Such a mess.) Senator Manawell thought. (There is going to be hell to pay.) She sighed. She gave a smile to Linda. (Once the media finds out. Well, we'll make sure that Masae is shielded from them.)

"Thank you. Bye Senator Manawell," replied Linda. Senator Manawell waved bye. Linda saw Masae on the stretcher placed in the ambulance. "Can I sit with her?"

"Are you a parent or guardian?" A paramedic asked. His black hair hung below his shoulders. His black eyes showed his devotion to his patient. He wore an ambulance uniform, black socks, and sneakers. His name tag read the name [Mark Henderson.]

"I have my adoption paperwork here," began Linda as she showed him the paperwork.

"That works for me," replied Mark. "Go ahead and sit with her Linda," as his other paramedic staff let her sit next to Masae.

"I'm right here child. I'm not going anywhere," explained Linda as she held Masae's hand with her right hand.

"Good," breathed in Masae as she remained calm thanks to Linda being in the ambulance with her. A moment later the ambulance doors were closed.

Mrs. Williams, Police Chief Johnson, and Senator Manawell saw Mark get in the driver's seat. A moment later the ambulance left.

"Mrs. Williams," began Senator Manawell. "You've worked here before," as she saw Mrs. Williams look over. "We need to check on any other the prisoner's welfare and make sure nothing of Masae's was left behind."

"Right," agreed Mrs. Williams as the two women walked back to the Woman's Correctional Prison Facility.

"I'll also inform the governor," added Senator Manawell as she shook her head. "That we'll need to transport these prisoners to other prisons till we can hire new staff."

"Aye," sighed Mrs. Williams. "I'd like to be rehired, but I've already been hired at another place," as Senator Manawell nodded. "I had no choice."

"I understand," sighed Senator Manawell. "This is such a big mess," as they walked into the prison.

(The only silver lining is the human trafficking ring is finished in the United States.) Senator Manawell thought. (They left us a lot of evidence.) She smiled. (Perhaps we can finish them off across the world too.)

"I'll be here," shouted Police Chief Johnson. "I got more of my staff on the way to investigate the Woman's Correctional Prison Facility for any other evidence," as he saw the two women wave their right arms to acknowledge his comment.

(This is a big mess.) Police Chief Johnson thought. (An adult alone for twenty-eight days in solitary confinement is bad enough.) He sighed as he pulled out his smartphone. (But a child who shouldn't have even been there is even worse.)

(There's going to be hell to pay because we now have an international incident on our hands.) Police Chief Johnson thought. (The good thing is.) He saw the first few police cars make their way to the entrance. (We saved the girl. At least one innocent didn't suffer worse than she already did if anything else.)

Masae lay on the Ambulance stretcher as Linda sat next to her. Linda held her hand. A female paramedic took a few readings. Her black hair hung in a ponytail. Her black eyes focused on her job. She wore an ambulance uniform, black socks, and sneakers. Her name tag read the name [Amanda Evans.]

"Masae," began Linda as the young girl looked at her. "I know it's sudden, but how would you like it if I became your mother," as she saw Masae's blue eyes tear up in joy. "I promise to love you, care for you, give you everything you need," as she took a deep breath. She gave a smile. "And as much as I can give you what you want."

"I'd like that," sniffled Masae. "I was so alone and so scared. I didn't know what was going on," as she cried. "I didn't even know what I did."

"You didn't do anything wrong girl," replied Linda. "You are safe now."

"That's great," cried Masae. "I'd like to be your daughter," as she smiled. "Thank you."

"I'm glad," giggled Linda as she gave Masae a reassuring smile.

"Thank you for cleaning me up," sniffled Masae as she blushed. "I was so embarrassed that a man heard me say I was on my period."

"I understand," soothed Linda as she gave a nod. "It's embarrassing for all females."

"Excuse me," interrupted Amanda. "I got to ask some questions," as Masae and Linda looked at her.

"Of course," exhaled Masae as she began to focus.

"For starters," Amanda asked as she held a clipboard in her hand. "Full name, date of birth, gender?"

"Her name is Masae Amelia Roberts," replied Linda as she saw Masae smile happily.

"I was born on April 21st, 2008. My gender is…Female," Masae added as she saw Amanda write down her answers.

(It's true.) Masae thought. (There's no going back. I'm a girl for life.) She held Linda's hand. She stared at the top of the ambulance as it drove towards the hospital. (Why did Pops set me up like that?) She grimaced. (I did everything he wanted and more.) She looked at Linda and tried to smile. (I just hope that they catch Pops. Either way I never want to see him again. Ever.)

"Good," praised Amanda. "We have a few more questions for you Masae…"

Masae lay on the hospital bed. She focused on Linda's face. She held her hand. She did her best to stay as calm as she possibly could. She saw a female doctor walk into her hospital room. She had brown hair tied to a bun and brown eyes. She wore hospital scrubs, white socks, and sneakers. She walked over to Masae and smiled.

"Hello, girl. I am Doctor Jade Andrews. It's a pleasure to meet you," Doctor Andrews said in a friendly voice. "I'll need you to take off your blouse and skirt and put on this hospital gown. If you need help your mother can help you. Okay?" She took a breath. "I'll be back as soon as I can." She saw her patient nod. She turned around and left the room.

"Okay," replied Masae as she looked at Linda. "I'd like help mommy," as she frowned and yawned. "For some reason. I'm really tired."

"You've been through a lot," exhaled Linda. She took off Masae's blouse and skirt. She put on her hospital gown. Linda laid her down. Doctor Andrews returned nineteen minutes later.

"Good. You've changed. Sorry for the delay," sighed Doctor Andrews. "I've been made aware of what happened to you, Masae," as she shook her head. "So, we first want to check something before we make any assumptions."

"That is?" Linda asked as she looked confused.

"We need to see if Masae can still transform back to a boy," explained Doctor Andrews. She left the room. She returned with some hot water a moment later.

"Okay," trembled Masae as she sat up.

"Go ahead and put your hand in the water please Masae," ordered Doctor Andrews as Masae followed her request. She put her hand in the warm water and her body did not change. She handed Masae a towel to dry her hand.

"So, it's really true," gasped Linda as she saw Masae lightly tear up. "I'm sorry."

"I'm sad," sniffled Masae. "I hoped someone would save me before I got my period, but it's over," as she lightly cried. "I'm not happy about it, but I've accepted that I am a girl now," as Linda held her hand with her right hand.

"I'm sorry, baby girl," soothed Linda as she gave Masae a deep hug. "I truly am sorry."

"I've been female for so long," added Masae. "I am having different thoughts. I'm so scared," as she looked at Linda with her blue eyes. "I'm not the same person I was."

"I see," softly said Doctor Andrews. "I did my research on Jusenkyo. I'll record your gender as female in the full records. Okay?"

"That works for me," cried Masae as she smiled. "I'm just most thankful that I'm still alive," as she gave her mom a cute smile. "And that I have a family again."

"That's so kind, sweetie," sniffled Linda. She saw Doctor Andrews, walking over to a table. She pulled out a swab. She returned a moment later.

"Just relax child," soothed Doctor Andrews as she swabbed Masae's right arm. "Now this will hurt a bit. You can hold onto your mother's hand if you want," as she grabbed a needle.

"Okay," gulped Masae as she held Linda's hand. "I'm scared," as she looked away from her doctor.

"It's okay," calmly chanted Linda. "Just focus on my face," as Masae felt the needle prick her arm. She winced as the IV was put in and held down by medical tape.

"You'll feel funny and cold," explained Doctor Andrews. "Just relax it's the IV draining into your body to give you needed nutrients."

"Okay," replied Masae. She felt her right arm get colder as her arm was filled with fluids to help her out.

"Now," continued Doctor Andrews. "There are a lot of exams we need to do," as Masae nodded. "We'll put you to sleep," as she put a mask down. "Just hold your mother's hand and let us do all the work Masae. When you awaken it will be all over," as Masae fell asleep…
