CHAPTER 10

With the Daein Liberation Army was Izuka, the headmaster of the Liberation Army. Next, the group was going to target Umono, one of the largest work camps on Daein grounds. As Izuka originally wanted to poison the enemies, superior officer Micaiah was displeased by his plans and decided not to poison the enemies.

"How dare you!" yelled Izuka to Micaiah.

"I will have to disagree with your plan, Izuka." said Micaiah to Izuka. "Let's go, everyone. To Umono we go."

"Hey!" yelled Izuka as the Daein Liberation Army left. "You…you…urrrrrrrrrgh!" he later yelled and growled.

"He's such an old fool…" thought Sothe.

Meanwhile at Umono Camp in Daein, a strict, racist and sexist Begnion General who only cared for men being soldiers was controlling the grounds. However, as he was a very sexist man, he wanted all his women prisoners executed. Did he just not care about women at all? Still, he wanted them executed just for being….women. Little did he know that Bri and the rest of her friends would be witnesses to him.

"So he only cares about men?" asked Cecily.

"Apparently, we better make sure we don't get ourselves killed." said the cat laguz Feradina. "I'll halfshift into my cat form with my sister Felidae."

"Good." said Felidae.

"I'll…also remain shifted." said the tiger laguz Kamro. "Kiev?"

"I'm on it." said the other tiger laguz Kiev of the Laguz Confederation Legion.

"Alright, everyone halfshifted?" asked Cecily. "Good."

Micaiah later caught up to the group.

"Micaiah!" yelled Bri.

"What happened?" asked Sothe.

"We had just witnessed a sexist Begnion General murder innocent women and enslave men to make them his soldiers."

"Ouch…" said Micaiah. "He's a sexist man, then?"

"It looks like he doesn't give a goddamn shit about gender equality around here!" said Bri.

"Exactly!" yelled Sothe in half-silence.

Soldiers of the Begnion Empire later spotted the group after making a few discoveries.

"General! Females! And they are suspected to be the Daein Liberation Army!" shouted a Sentinel.

"We're gonna be killed…aren't we?" asked Bri.

"Sounds like it." said the Begnion Halberdier. "That is…if you don't run for your lives."

"Oh, we're not gonna run." said Carl.

"Don't worry about this one. I've got this." said Rita.

Sothe later blew a goat horn.

"Eh, where did Sothe get that goat horn?!" asked Bri.

"Beats me." said Micaiah. "I'll cast my Thani spell."

Some of the soldiers were blinded by the bright light of Micaiah's Thani spell. Fiona the Lance Knight later skewered three Begnion Halberdiers with her lance.

"Well, that was a bloody end for them." said Bri. "Let me try the same thing!" she later proclaimed.

Bri later attempted to copy exactly what Fiona did.

The Begnion soldiers were not pleased that they were losing the battle. As Tauroneo was freeing prisoners with Jill Fizzart and Zihark, they were making sure all the females and the young girls got out alive and away from the sexist general who never cared about gender equality and females. Then, a raven laguz swooped down from the sky. It could not have been any of Cecily's laguz soldiers, as all of them were not shifted. Then, a turquoise tiger ran to the rescue to maul off a Begnion guard's face. And lastly, a storm of fire–possibly a Meteor spell–rained down on some Begnion soldiers. Luckily for the prisoners, no one was hurt. But Begnion soldiers did die from all of that.

"More laguz?" asked Micaiah.

The laguz and the young fire mage later left. However, they look familiar to Bri. At least two of them did.

"Do you know them?" asked Rita to Bri.

"Two of them, but not that raven laguz." said Bri.

Bri later cantered off on her wolf to catch up to them.

"Come on!" yelled Micaiah.

Everyone later went back to the camp–assuming that was where the three were going–to see exactly what was going on.
