CHAPTER 18
Crimea's unity was slowly rotting from within, thanks to the reign of Queen Elincia. This discord begins to get felt in country village hamlets, like the Ohma farming village for one such example. In Ohma, there lived very few people, most of them were poor lads while a number of the population was houseless. Brom, a knight of Crimea who served in the Mad King's War, was busy with crops on the orders of an elderly man named Jacob.
Jacob came outside to check on Brom, only to see he was plowing seeds slowly. But Jacob wasn't in an angry mood because of this. He was impressed with how the crops were going to turn out for the yearly season.
"Mornin' Jacob!" exclaimed Brom.
"Look atchya!" yelled Jacob. "Always sowin' yer seeds slowly! Now I gotta say, that'll be a fine crop this year."
"Heck, I just work the fields." Brom said. "You have to do it slowly if you want everything perfect."
Nephenee, a friend of Brom, was all suited up in her Halberdier armor. What the case was remains unknown at that point.
"Well, if it isn't Nephenne!" exclaimed Brom. "Please come over here–wait…why the armor? The war is over."
"You'll be needin' armor too, Brom ol' chap." said Nephenee. "There's a revolution a-breaking." Nephenee explained.
"Nobody tells us this stuff anymore!" yelled Jacob. "But I can see this happenin' seeing how they're all fed up with the reign of Queen Elincia.
"But Her Majesty…..the Queen!" yelled Brom. "She's a fine lady."
"And even if she's a tad young to be passin' laws and makin' duties, instead of havin' fun…" stated Nephenee, "I'll go look m'self."
"Good idea." said Brom. "I'm comin' with y'all!"
"Not me." said Jacob. "I'm an old lad. I'm out of it."
Brom went to get armored up.
Meanwhile in a fortress, a blue-haired Crimean general named Yeardley was accompanied with Crimean soldiers and Ohma villagers. There, he wanted to show everyone what Crimea really was after Mad King Ashnard's defeat. In the revolution, everyone was blaming the reign of Queen Elincia. As Crimea was violated, being robbed from friends, families, and homes and more, no one could be with Daein monsters anymore, according to Yeardley and the villagers. Of course, they were not allowing Elincia to reign supreme. Then, Yeardley sang this song:
To arms I say and proclaim!
Crimea's the one to blame!
We fight for our prosperity,
Showing off dexterity!
Fight for our fatherland,
This is the thing that we have planned!
Crimea marches with a band,
Through rain, the snow, the sleet, and sand!
As this song was being sung over and over again, Brom and Nephenee heard everything unfold with other villagers.
"Seriously?" asked one villager. "That bastard has to sing that song?"
"Did he come up with that on the spot?!" asked one male youth villager.
"That bastard's gotta go!" yelled Brom.
"Yes, Brom ol' chap!" yelled Nephenee. "He's gotta go!"
"And my armor's feelin' like bricks right now!" yelled Brom.
"Just fight it off!" yelled Nephenee.
As the Crimean soldiers kept singing, Nephenee and Brom went over to the group of soldiers.
"Hey, it's Nephenee and Brom!" yelled a male soldier.
"So we can make a difference!" yelled a male youth. "We'll dethrone the queen!"
"What're y'all thinkin'?" asked Nephenee. "You don't know a single thing about Queen Elincia!"
"Maybe….this is a mistake." said Brom. "Our queen is a savior to Crimea. The true definition of beauty."
"Absolutely!" yelled Nephenee. "We fought beside her!"
"You fought alongside the Queen?" asked Yeardley. "Hmmmm…..I see very well." Yeardley then told his brothers to not be deceived by the looks of Brom and Nephenee, as he thought they served as spies to the beautiful Queen Elincia.
"Now yer talkin' nonsense! Queen Elincia would not hire spies like that!" yelled Brom.
"Yes she would!" yelled one civilian.
Nephenee was just about fed up.
"That does it!" yelled Nephenee. "F-I-G-H-T! What does that spell? FIGHT!"
Everyone began fighting off Yeardley's soldiers and crew saying that the Queen was a beautiful specimen.
