CHAPTER 24
The next morning, Elincia received the disturbing news that Lucia was captured by the vicious Lord Ludveck while trying to contact a civilian. Thinking that Lucia was going to get tortured by Ludveck, Elincia quickly rallied her soldiers for battle. She then suspected that Ludveck was marching towards Alpea as she was readying her troops for the great gambit. As Haar was speaking with Her Majesty, he decided that it would be best if he would stay and help.
"That would be wonderful." said Queen Elincia to Haar.
"Your Majesty, I have decided to stay with my sister Izzy." said Isaac.
"Isaac talked me into assisting him with your little gambit, Elincia." said Izzy.
"The more soldiers we have, the less time it will take to help Crimea." said Elincia.
Haar, Isaac, and Izzy nodded, agreeing with the words of Her Majesty, the Queen.
"Does that settle it then?" asked Geoffrey.
"I think it may." said Elincia. "Ready the troops." she ordered Geoffrey.
"Yes, Your Majesty." said Geoffrey.
Geoffrey later walked away.
Elincia later wanted to speak with Haar about Lucia. Haar responded with no words, showing Elincia something disturbing. The disturbing piece of evidence of Lucia's capture was a lock of her light blue hair.
"She is still alive, which means we can save her." said Haar.
Elincia grew more angrier; she ordered more soldiers on the battlefield. As Nealuchi and Leanne walked into the room, Elincia ordered both bird laguz to escape the room.
"N-n-no!" yelled Nealuchi. "We must take to the skies and defeat the Crimean Rebels!"
"By the way, Lucia's been kidnapped." said Haar "I think…I think…..ugh." he said as he fainted.
"Lucia!" yelled Leanne in Ancient Tongue.
"Not Lady Lucia!" yelled Nealuchi. "We have to save her!"
"And that's what we are proceeding to do." said Queen Elincia. "Everyone, to the battlefront! Quickly, quickly!"
Everyone quickly rallied around the castle grounds, readying themselves for Lord Ludveck and his rebel troops.
When the fighting was just about to begin, a royal trumpet sounded, rallying the soldiers. Elincia later marked her word, saying that Ludveck will be defeated, and Lucia will be rescued. However, one soldier started singing a totally different song. A song so different that it was not the same one as earlier.
We'll point our spears at the enemy,
And fight for our country!
We'll kill that wretched Lord Ludveck,
The fool that's power-hungry,
That fool that's power-hungry,
We'll kill that wretched Lord Ludveck,
And fight for our country!
"So they want to sing stupid Crimean war cries to rid Lord Ludveck?" asked one Crimean Rebel soldier.
One of the rebels shrugged his shoulders, not knowing what was going on. Then, another rebel soldier started to chant.
We'll kill the queen,
And make it clean,
Rebellion to war!
"Silence!" yelled Ludveck. "I will kill the queen and I will make sure that she has nothing to do with this country anymore! She is an inexperienced ruler; she needs to cease the royal throne!"
The soldiers cheered on Ludveck.
"Soldiers, March forth!" yelled Ludveck.
The soldiers began marching towards Elincia.
Elincia's soldiers were still singing out their war cries as they were fighting.
Crimea will fight,
For their graceful queen's right,
Elincia's rule,
Against a power-hungry fool,
The duke will be seized,
From his rights to be,
Crimea will fight,
For they know what's right!
For Crimea, For Crimea!
"Stop that annoying singing right now before I slit your throats!" yelled Lord Ludveck.
"Ludveck." said Elincia. "Where–and I mean where–is Lucia?!"
"Oh, that's bizarre." said Ludveck. "Isn't she always traveling with you?" asked Ludveck.
"You liar! You took the lady!" yelled Marcia. "The queen has told us! The queen herself has told us that Lucia was kidnapped by you!"
"And you even sliced off her hair!" yelled Haar. "We have the proof."
"So, Ludveck…any last words?" asked Elincia.
"...I vow to be imprisoned for what I have done. I shall walk myself to the hellish ways of the afterlife." Ludveck said. He was later beheaded by Elincia and the sacred Crimean blade of Amiti.
Begone, the duke of Felirae,
Lord Ludveck is a goner,
Crimea gains it's rightful way
Lord Ludveck was dishonor!
Crimea's fight,
For their graceful queen's right,
Elincia's rule,
Against a power-hungry fool,
The duke has been seized,
From his rights to be,
Crimea's fight,
For they know what's right!
Victory, victory!
"I appreciate you singing, but take a look at this." said Geoffrey.
Queen Elincia dismounted from her Pegasus mount and went over to see Geoffrey. Marcia decided to do the same thing.
"Lucia's going to be executed?!" asked Marcia.
"Goddamn it, Ludveck!" yelled Haar.
"Well, he's in hell now." said Queen Elincia. "But what's going to happen to Lucia? Someone must save her!"
"Your Majesty, you may want to take a look at this." said Geoffrey.
Elincia was shocked. The rebel soldiers were going to execute Lucia because Ludveck was declared dead at the hands of the Queen herself. But however, Elincia was obviously going to refuse to let the rebel soldiers execute Lady Lucia.
"Queen Elincia, please!" yelled Lucia. "Someone must save me! Anybody! HELP!" yelled Lucia.
"Shut it, lady!" yelled a rebel soldier.
"Hush it, you stupid, pathetic Crimean happy meal!" said another rebel soldier. "You're our next dinner to go to hell, thanks to the queen!"
A horse sound was later heard in the sky.
"Wait, what's going on?!" asked one Rebel soldier.
In the skies of Crimea, the Falcoknight Kamaria and her brother Kito, two members of the Greil Mercenaries, were flying high above the execution area. Kamaria couldn't believe what was going on down below.
"Brother Kito, look!" yelled Kamaria. "It's Lady Lucia, Sir Geoffrey's older sister."
"And they are going to execute her?" asked Kito.
"Yes, it looks like it." said Kamaria. "Let's give Shinon and Rolf the signal. Hold on!"
Kamaria later flew past a tree that had Snipers Shinon and Rolf on it.
Shinon and Rolf were about to shoot down the execution by shooting the rope that had Lady Lucia hanged. However, as Rolf was nervous, Shinon decided to do it himself. As Lady Lucia was falling to the ground, Ike, leader of the Greil Mercenaries, caught Lucia, and used his new Ettard blade to slice the rebels.
"The queen's men are attacking!" yelled one Crimean Rebel.
"Stop him!" yelled another rebel soldier.
As Kamaria was about to swoop down on the rebel soldiers, Samantha and Soren, now skilled Sages, took out about five soldiers each.
"Gah!" yelled one Rebel soldier. "I will–" he later said as he was sliced by Mia and Ross.
"Soren!" yelled Ross.
"You're always lost in your books are you?" asked Mia.
Kamaria later swooped down and later had Kito dismount. Kamaria then ended up in between Paladins Oscar and Titania.
"Boyd, work with Kito!" yelled Oscar.
"Got it, big brother!" yelled Boyd. "I'll slice off their heads, and let the blood leak through the grounds!"
Kamaria later landed her Pegasus to check on Rhys and Mist, who were busy tending to Lucia. As with Ike, he and Gatrie were tending to more rebel soldiers by slicing them down by lance and sword.
Meanwhile, with Geoffrey, he was surprised. The Greil Mercenaries came to his sister Lucia's rescue. Geoffrey later went to deploy the Royal Knights and assist the mercenaries in rescuing Lucia. Everything with Crimea would finally go back to normal.
