Hey, so I'll be using my SORAS wand to speed up Carly's pregnancy at different times. Right now, she's going to find out the genders, then I'll speed it up again at some point. Thanks, and keep the reviews coming.

Chapter 64- Sonny, Carly, and Jason

The next week, Spencer and Josslyn sat on Sonny and Carly's couch while they babysat Avery and Donna.

"I still don't understand why Trina won't return any of my calls," Josslyn said.

"I know. She won't return mine either," Spencer said. "I thought she understood that Ace is and always will be my first priority. I just hope your mom makes out well serving those papers."

She touched his arm and looked into his eyes. "Well, I understand that he's your priority, Spencer. My mom taught me the importance of protecting children."

"You are so hot right now." He leaned forward and kissed her. She ran her fingers through his hair as he lay her down and unbuttoned her blouse.

Avery and Donna ran down the stairs.

"Josslyn, can we play with Daddy's guns?" Avery asked.

"Mmm…." Josslyn moaned when Spencer kissed her neck.

"We really want to play with them," Donna said.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever," Josslyn mumbled, not taking in what they were saying.

"Yay!" They scrambled upstairs to Sonny's room and into his closet.

"I don't know how to open it," Donna said.

"I do," Avery said. "I opened it once before. I heard Daddy tell Mama Carly that it's Morgan's birthday. But I thought they looked boring, so I put them back. You might like them though." She started putting in the code.

Michael went into Wiley's messy room to find him pouting on his bed. "Wiley, why did you kick Judy?"

"I don't like Judy. I don't want a nanny. I want Mommy!"

Michael frowned and sat at the edge of his bed. "I know you miss Mommy."

"It's not fair. It's not fair!" Wiley stood up on his bed and kicked Michael. He jumped down and started banging his head off the wall.

"Wiley, Wiley, stop." Michael pulled him away from the wall. "You're going to hurt yourself."

Tears cascaded down his cheeks. "I miss Mommy."

Michael hugged him. "Okay, this is getting ridiculous. Grab your coat. We're going to see Mommy."

Esme sat outside of Lainey's office after Robin dropped her off, waiting for her appointment to start. She stared at the paper in her hands, then glanced over when Trina got off the elevator with Cameron who was using crutches.

"Thanks for bringing me," Cameron said. "Mom wanted to, but she had a last-minute meeting."

Esme sank a little behind a plant so they wouldn't see her.

"No worries," Trina said. "I'm glad you're feeling better. Hopefully your follow-up goes well."

"I'm sure it will."

"Did you hear about Spencer and Josslyn?" Trina asked.

Cameron groaned. "I was there. Well, afterwards. They got married to look good in front of the judge."

Trina shook her head. "I don't know what hurts more. Spencer or Josslyn's betrayal. Probably Joss'. I should've expected this from Spencer."

"I'm sorry, Trina," Cameron said. "You don't deserve this. But you're not alone. We should hang out again since I'm back home."

Esme frowned.

Trina smiled. "I'd like that."

Lainey walked out of her office. "Hi Esme. It's good to see you. Are you ready to come in?"

Esme swallowed hard and looked back over at Cameron and Trina before following her in.

"How are you?" Lainey asked as they sat down.

Esme shrugged.

"Were you able to complete your homework?" Lainey asked.

Esme held up the paper. "Yeah."

"Would you like to tell me about it?"

Esme cleared her throat and read from it. "Reasons not to be a P.I…. I don't have experience. I'm not smart enough. I couldn't even find clues at that hotel and I crippled up when Dex tried to take me away."

Lainey looked at her concerned.

"Reasons I want to be a P.I…. To be like my mom. To make her proud of me. So I can always be with her. And I want to help someone else find their family because I always wanted to find my mom, but besides Maggie I didn't have anyone to help me and I didn't know how to find her."

"Wow, Esme, that's actually a really good reason," Lainey said. "Sometimes our own experiences can drive us to help others in similar situations. Maybe you can explore more about P.I. work and the steps you need to get there. And I'm sure your mom can help you, if you still want to pursue that route."

"Maybe…. And I don't have a lot of interests or hobbies," Esme continued. "I like horses and swimming with Ace. I used to like skiing, but it's been a while. And the last time I skied didn't turn out the best."

"Sounds like you put a lot of effort into your homework."

"I guess…."

"Do you think you'd like to get back into skiing?" Lainey asked.

"No."

"How come?"

"It ended horribly last time."

"What happened?"

"I don't want to talk about it," Esme said.

"Okay. Do you like horseback riding?"

"I never learned. I wasn't allowed."

"Is that something you'd like to learn?" Lainey asked.

"Yeah."

"If it's affordable, maybe you could look into it."

"Cody wanted to help me get a job at the Quartermaine stables," Esme said. "But that was before my trial, so I don't know if that's still a possibility."

"Maybe you can ask him?" Lainey asked.

"Maybe. It was for only a couple mornings a week. So, I won't be away from Ace for long."

"Esme, you mentioned before about court-ordered community service, and you just mentioned now about a trial. What was the trial for?"

"I don't want to talk about it."

"Okay," Lainey said. "What would you like to talk about?"

"My mom."

"Okay."

"I'm not going to stop seeing her," Esme said. "And if you tell me to, then I'm leaving therapy and I'm not coming back."

Lainey sighed. "Esme, I think you misunderstood me. I didn't mean to stop seeing her. I was just concerned when you said you wanted to be a P.I. so you could be with her every day. And when you said you usually only go out with your mom. I just meant it probably isn't healthy to be with her all the time and not others too."

"I'm not with her all the time. Robin brought me here because Mommy had to go do something. But Heather and Dex were after me before, and Spence was harassing me and Ace. And I don't have a car, so she was taking me most places because she was scared and didn't want me out on my own. And and…" she choked up. "It isn't fair. It isn't fair that other kids had their moms every day growing up and I didn't. And now that we're together we can't be together all the time because it's not healthy…."

Lainey reached for her hand. "I'm sorry, Esme. You've been through a lot. It sounds like you really need your mom. I'm sorry if I overstepped or if it came out wrong."

Esme sniffled back her tears.

"Mind if I ask what happened?" Lainey asked. "Why were you separated from your mom?"

Esme shook her head. "I don't want to talk about it."

Felicia waited anxiously behind the glass and gritted her teeth when Victor sat down on the opposite side.

Victor grabbed the phone and grinned. "Why Mrs. Scorpio, what a delightful surpr—"

"Don't." Felicia pierced her lips. "I want to know why. Why did you want my jewels so badly that you kept my daughter locked in a room for 17 years starving her to death?"

"I do everything in the name of family."

"Family? At the expense of other people's families? Do you even care that Georgie still doesn't have enough strength to go outside? To have a normal life?"

"That was Peter and Prescott's doing," Victor said. "I just played host."

"Host? You're acting like you hosted a barbecue instead of holding my daughter captive."

"You think I care about your precious daughter?" Victor asked. "I only care about my family."

"That much is clear."

"I hear that we share family now," Victor said. "Little Ace is your grandson."

"You're not getting near my grandson. And you're not getting near Georgie again either. What you did is disgusting. It's evil. It's unforgivable."

"I kept her alive, didn't I? Instead of reprimanding me, you should be thanking me. If it weren't for me, you'd never have seen your daughter again."

" Are you kidding me?" Felicia gripped the phone tighter. "You're lucky there's glass between us, because if there wasn't I would kill you with my bare hands."

"Is that a threat, Mrs. Scorpio?" He turned. "Guard, I do not feel safe with this visitor."

The guard laughed.

"Was Diego or Luis Alcazar in cahoots with you and the Harrells?" Felicia asked.

"No, Diego just set things up nicely for us," Victor said. "Saved us a step when he was already targeting women. Georgie was in such a weak state when we found her. Very out of it, we didn't even need to drug her. Very easy to transport. And General Hospital and the PCPD was easy to fool. Any more questions?"

"I know you were involved in Georgie's disappearance and with Maxie's kidnapping, were you also involved in my youngest daughter's disappearance?"

He grinned at her. "What if I was?"

"How? What did you do?"

"I assisted Peter in tracking down someone down in Colorado. Guard, I am finished here."

"Wait," Felicia said. "Who?"

"Heather Webber."

The guard took him away and Felicia sat in shocked silence.

Carly laid back on the table holding Sonny's hand while the sonographer pressed the ultrasound device to Carly's stomach.

"These are miracle babies," the sonographer said. "I don't get many expectant parents over 50."

Carly teared up. "They are miracles indeed. Sonny has magic swimmers."

Sonny chuckled.

"How many children have you had?" the sonographer asked.

"Well, I've had a couple of miscarriages," Carly said. "But before the triplets I've carried four children to term."

"The women I've been with have also had miscarriages, and one stillborn," Sonny explained. "Five of my biological children with different women have survived past childbirth, but I also consider Carly's children mine as well."

"Wow. So, would you like to know the genders?" the sonographer asked.

Carly looked up at Sonny who nodded.

"You are having two boys and a girl." The sonographer wiped the jelly off Carly's stomach and turned off the computer. "Congratulations."

Carly placed a hand over her heart. "Two boys and a girl."

Sonny kissed the top of Carly's head. "Thank you."

The sonographer left.

Sonny helped Carly sit up.

"Sonny, I know what I want to name them."

"What would you like to name them?"

"Sonny, Carly, and Jason." She beamed.

Charlotte pulled her black hoody up and hid behind a bush as a car pulled into Anna's driveway. Robin got out of the car and walked inside.

Charlotte crept closer and peeked inside the window at Anna and Emma on the couch.

Her phone beeped, causing her to jump. She looked at the screen.

Hey, you got plans tonight? Jake's text said.

Felicia picked Esme up from the hospital when she returned to town.

"How did it go this time?" Felicia asked.

Esme shrugged. "Okay, I guess."

Felicia smiled. "Well, that sounds like an improvement from last week."

"I guess. She apologized for overstepping and she's not going to tell me how much I can or can't see you."

"Good."

"I want to talk to Cody about working at the Quartermaine stables," Esme said.

"Oh, that's a great idea."

"If I work there, do you think they'd charge me for horseback riding lessons?" Esme asked.

"I don't know. You could ask. But I wouldn't mind paying for them. And maybe I can be the one to teach you."

Esme's face lit up. "Really?"

"Yeah. If you'd like that, I would love to give you lessons."

Esme nodded. "Did you teach Maxie and Georgie too?"

"No. My grandmother taught them."

Esme lowered her gaze. "Oh."

"What's wrong?" Felicia asked.

"I never got to meet her, but they did."

"Oh, you did too, sweetheart. She helped me take care of you when you were a baby."

"She did?" Esme asked.

"Yes. She loved you very much. I have pictures of her holding you in your baby album."

Esme smiled a little as they pulled into the driveway.

They went inside to find Mac and Georgie on the couch.

Felicia smiled. "You've got some colour in your cheeks tonight, Georgie."

"Yeah, I feel really good today," Georgie said.

"I'm going to check on Ace," Esme said.

"Okay, then I want to tell you and Georgie something." Felicia sat down and held Mac's hand. "We want to tell you together."

Esme looked horrified.

The doorbell rang, but Esme ran upstairs. She found Ace sleeping in his bed. She reached through the bars and held his hand. "This isn't fair, Ace. I don't want them to have a baby. I don't want to be replaced…. And Grandma probably can't teach me to ride if she's pregnant."

Downstairs, Felicia answered the door to find Carly on the porch.

Carly grinned. "Good evening, Felicia."

"Uh, hi? What's up?"

"I'm here to see Esme," Carly said.

"Why?"

"I'm here on behalf of my daughter and son-in-law. Diane was going to do it, but I wanted to myself."

Felicia turned when Esme walked back down.

"Esme, a word on the porch," Carly said.

Esme raised an eyebrow.

"Is there a problem?" Mac walked over.

"No problem," Carly said. "Not anymore."

"Whatever you have to say to my daughter you can say in front of us." Felicia moved over and wrapped her arm around Esme.

"Very well." Carly walked in and handed Esme a piece of paper. "This is a court order lifting your restraining order against Spencer."

Esme's face paled.

" What?" Felicia asked. "He was harassing my daughter and her son."

"Until the custody hearing, Spencer and Josslyn are now entitled to one full day of an unsupervised visit with Ace per week," Carly said.

" And Josslyn?" Felicia shook her head. "Ace doesn't even know her."

"Josslyn is Spencer's wife," Carly continued. "And Spencer is also allowed to approach Esme and Ace whenever he sees them and may contact Esme with regards to Ace."

"And who exactly approved this ludicrous appeal?" Mac spoke up. "Spencer does not have parental rights. He is not Ace's father."

"And he helped Nikolas try to kidnap Ace," Felicia added. "Plus, he attacked my daughter."

"That's what's ludicrous," Carly said and looked directly at Esme. "Spencer will contact you tomorrow about his first visit. If you don't answer, we'll call the police."

Esme's lip trembled, she dropped the paper, and she bolted upstairs again.

Felicia stepped closer and slapped Carly. "Don't you dare threaten my daughter again."

Mac pulled her back.

Carly placed her hand over her cheek. "You dare hit a pregnant woman?"

Felicia laughed. "You're pregnant again? I feel sorry for your kids. Stay away from mine or you will answer to me."

Carly smirked. "Ace will be with Spencer and Josslyn soon where he will be safe. We'll be in touch." She left.

Felicia ran her hands through her hair.

"It's not long until the custody hearing," Mac said. "If Esme co-operates it will be good for her."

"Mac, Spencer is awful with Esme and Ace," Felicia said. "He thinks he's entitled to everything, including a child that isn't his."

Mac rubbed her back. "We'll figure this out."

"Mom, what did you want to talk to us about?" Georgie asked from the couch.

Felicia let out a deep breath and sat with her. "I was going to tell you together, but I don't think your sister can handle much more right now."

"What's wrong?"

Mac sat on the other side of Georgie and held her hand. "Your mom found out more about your captivity. Victor was working with your mom's ex-fiancé and his brother."

Georgie's eyes grew wide.

Felicia nodded. "Prescott and Peter Harrell were after my Aztec treasure decades ago, before you and Maxie were even born. Frisco and I shot Peter in the head and we thought he died. They did this as part of their twisted revenge against me. But it was all connected. They targeted all three of you girls. They kidnapped Frankie when she was a baby and Prescott was the one who, quote on quote, raised her under the name Claude Prince. They faked your death and kept you captive in Switzerland. And they kidnapped Maxie and Lulu too several years ago when Maxie almost married Peter's son. Maxie got lucky though, she and Lulu were rescued. She still went through a lot too, but she was spared what you and Frankie went through."

Georgie started crying.

Mac and Felicia wrapped their arms around her.

Upstairs, Esme swaddled Ace in a blanket and grabbed her backpack. "I won't let Spence take you from me, Ace. And if Mommy and Mac are having a baby, they probably won't want us here anymore." She crept down the back staircase to the kitchen, and peeked in on Mac, her mom, and Georgie in a group hug, then she went out the back door.

Sasha answered the door when there was a knock and found Michael with Amelia and Wiley in the hallway.

"Hey Sasha," Michael said. "Sorry to just drop in like this. Is Willow home? The kids want to see her."

She smiled. "She sure is. Willow! There's a surprise at the door. I think you're going to like it."

Willow walked out of her room. "What is it? I should get some sleep. I start work at 2 am—" Her hand flew to her mouth.

"Mommy!" Wiley crashed into her arms.

Willow kissed his head several times. "Oh buddy, I missed you so much."

"I missed you too."

Michael brought Amelia over and handed her to Willow. "I think this is so stupid. I was wrong, Willow. I never wanted to keep them from you. Just from you know who."

Willow sat down and held them both on her lap.

"I think as long as we agree that Nina does come with you, you can see them whenever," Michael said.

Willow nodded through her tears. "I can agree to that. Just as long as I can be with my babies."

"I don't like Judy," Wiley said. "I want you to take care of us, Mommy."

"Judy is their new nanny," Michael said. "Wiley, we'll keep Judy, but you'll still get to see your mom."

"Okay." Wiley hugged her tightly.

"I need to get a few things at the drug store. I'll be back soon." Sasha grabbed her purse and opened the door again to find Carly in the hallway.

Carly peeked around her. "Michael? What are you doing?"

Michael sighed. "I brought my kids to see their mom. What are you doing here?"

"I needed to talk to Willow," Carly said. "Michael, you know what the terms of custody are."

"Well, I'm breaking them," Michael said. "Wiley and Amelia need their mom."

"And that was Willow's own fault why they can't be with her. Wiley, come with Grandma."

"No!" Wiley shouted. "I'm staying with Mommy."

"We will talk about this later," Carly said. "But it's almost your bedtime and you shouldn't be out so late." She glared at Michael. "Wiley and Amelia will be coming with me tonight."

Michael gaped at her. "What? But they're my kids."

"Just for the night to give you a chance to think about what you just did. This breaks the terms of custody and all you did was give Wiley false hope."

"Please Carly," Willow said. "I won't bring Nina with me. I haven't seen her since the hearing. Please just let me be with both of them."

"All of us would like that to happen eventually," Carly said. "But you need to prove to us that we can trust you not to put them in danger again. And first things first, Wiley and Amelia are coming home with me and Sonny tonight."

"I don't want to go," Wiley cried.

"It's okay, Wiley." Willow kissed each of their foreheads. "Go with Grandma tonight and I will see you real soon."

Wiley hugged her again, then dragged his feet over to Carly. Willow gave her Amelia.

"I'll call you tomorrow, Michael." Carly left with the kids.

Avery put Morgan's birthday into the lock and it clicked open. They peeked inside and found several compartments containing many different types of guns.

"Whoa," Donna said. "What one should we use?"

"This looks like the kind I've seen Daddy use." Avery lifted one.

Downstairs, Spencer and Josslyn were wrapped in each other's arms with nothing but a throw blanket covering them. But they jumped up when they heard the door, so they scrambled to get dressed.

Sonny walked in beaming. "We're having two boys and a girl. Carly wants to call them Sonny, Carly, and Jason."

Josslyn grinned. "I love it."

"I can't wait to tell the girls," Sonny said. "Avery! Donna! Daddy's home."

Back upstairs, Avery and Donna stared at the gun.

"Why don't you hide it under your bed and you can play with it tomorrow?" Avery suggested.

Donna grinned. "Yeah! Then we can play Cops and Mobsters."

Avery locked up the gun case again and they carried the gun to Donna's room. Donna reached under her bed and pulled out an old shoe box.

"It'll be safe in here," Donna said.
