"Kaitlyn Ka or Dylan Lenivy. Both of their prints were found on the gun. Miss Ka said she was the one who fired. Unless one of them is covering for the other..."

Detective Novak: How are you holding up?

Abi: I'm ok. I think I'm ok.

Detective Annie Klein: (a blonde, stout woman) "Are you ready to start? If you need a minute..."

Detective Novak: "Can you tell us what happened? Let's start with how you became stranded at the camp in the first place."

"The van broke down. Mr H wasn't too happy about it."

"He did. Look. I know how it sounds. We didn't expect any of the shit that went down. We just wanted to have a party before the end of summer. One last night with friends before school. I was against it at first. We were all having a fun time until...

"Who suggested the party?"

"Dylan. He was kind of weird at first but once you get to know him he's really sweet."

Dylan: "If you're asking me if I wanted something more with Ryan then yeah. I can't deny that."

"When was the last time you saw him?"

"When he went off with that Laura girl. They went to...confront Chris about something."

"Did you follow them?"

"No. I don't know what happened after that. I went to the scrapyard with Kaitlyn."

Emma: Not weird, weird. Like Kaylee Hackett and her freak brother. Sorry. I know I shouldn't speak ill of the dead. They didn't deserve any of this. But they put us all in danger. Looking back at it now...I wish we hadn't thrown that stupid party."

Dylan: The party? I did."

"Just one...(slight hesitation) and a half."

Jacob: I had about one...or two. My tolerance level is like really high." He raises his hand as if to measure how much he had drank.

Nick (shrugs): Everyone I guess

Dylan: Not Abi though.

Abi: Did I have anything to drink? No. I don't believe in it. It runs in my family. I also don't believe in guns either. They scare me. But Kaitlyn said there's nothing to be scared about if you learn to be responsible. Where did it come from? The one Kaitlyn had came from Mr H's office. I don't know where Emma got hers from."

Detective Novak: "Emma. Right. Let's talk about her. Were you jealous of her?"

"Me? No. I think she was a little jealous of me believe it or not. She's this big Instagram star, thought she liked the attention but I think she wishes she had a normal boring life like mine. I'm still kind of mad at her but after what happened..."

"That's understandable."

"I was upset at first. I didn't want to play the stupid game to begin with. Then Emma kissed Nick. I just needed to clear my head. But then I got lost. Then Nick found me. We talked it out and we kinda sort of kissed. "

Nick: It was just a game. Of course she knew that. It was nothing. I was just playing along.

"Abi didn't seem to think so."

"I went after her to see if she was ok."

"That's when you were attacked."

Detective Novak: (To Emma) "Abi seemed rather upset."

"Yeah. I'm real sorry about that. I'm being sincere. But to be honest, you shouldn't play if you're going to be weak sauce. It's not like I didn't care. I did go to check on him. Detective Novak: Where did you go off to, after you left the camp fire?"

Jacob: The boat house. Emma followed me. We sort of made up. Went skinny dipping.

"That's when you found the body."

"Right. I dropped the rotar arm in the water, I dove in to get it. When I came back up, that's when I heard Abi screaming."

Emma: (her eyes are read from crying or exhaustion, depending if Jacob and or Abi are dead) I didn't know Nick and Abi were attacked until Jacob came to find me. I just came back from the Island being chased by whatever that thing was...

"Not a bear."

"Right. Jacob and I got split up after another one of things chased us..."

Detective Novak: (No Nick) What do you think attacked you?"

Nick: "I don't know. I thought it was a bear at first. New species of animals are discovered all the time. Like I don't know, Bigfoot."

Detective Klein: "You think you were attacked. By Bigfoot?"

Nick: (Shrugs.) "It could happen. Or a skin walker. Ever heard of skin walker ranch? I used to go camping with my dad to look for cryptids. Do I believe in them? Of course I don't. It was all for fun. Bigfoot... there's actual scientific proof..."

Kaitlyn: What do I think it was? Some diseased bear. I don't know. We were too busy. Doing what? Uh, trying to stay ALIVE!"

Detective Novak: "There's no need to get defensive Miss Ka. We just want to get to the bottom of this.

His partner Detective Klien looks at him in annoyance. "After the other's left the fire-pit. Did you leave at any point?"

Kaitlyn: Only to take Nick back to the lodge after he and Abi were attacked. Ryan, Dylan and I were still at the fire pit. We were going to play another round of truth or dare when we heard gunfire and Abi screaming. I gave the gun to Ryan and sent him to go after them."

Detective Novak: "Where did the gun come from?"

"I don't know. Jacob and Emma had it. When they came back with the supplies for the party."

Detective Novak: (sounds skeptical) "How did you know they were gunshots that you heard?"

"My dad's a gun enthusiast. We'd go to the shooting rang, or he'd take me hunting when I was growing up. Not so much anymore. But I know what gunfire sounds like."

Emma: I found it in the storage room in the general store.

"And it was just lying on the floor?"

"Yeah, with those torn bags from those missing hikers."

"How do you know they belonged to the missing hikers?"

"Putting it together isn't that hard."

"And it didn't raise any red flags?"

"I thought it was a bear. "

Abi: While we were being attacked, we were being shot at in the woods by these hunters..."

"The Hackett's."

"We didn't know that at the time. We thought they were shooting at us. I guess, they were shooting at the things that were attacking us. It was so fast..."

Nick: We thought it was a bear. It could have been. I don't know, I was delirious."

"You didn't have a scratch on you. How do you explain that?"

Nick: (Shurgs) Can I get a lawyer now?"

Dylan: Nick said it was a bear. He was pretty out of it. "

"When you heard the screaming and the gunshots you didn't go after them?"

"Uh...hello, one of the rules in horror movies...but yeah. Kaitlyn and Ryan had everything under control. How long were they gone? It was only like ten minutes? When they came back with Abi and Nick. I helped Ryan carry him back to the fire-pit.."

"And that's who's blood was on you. When we test your clothing it will come back as Mr Furcillos."

"Yes."

Detective Novak: To Kaitlyn "He never left the group at any time?"

"Dylan? No, He was with me or the others the whole time. Wait, what are you getting at? You think he had something to do with this. No. No way. " If Emma was shot by Kaitlyn with a silver bullet. I was the one who shot her. We didn't know it was her. It could have been one of those things or one of the Hackett's..."

"You claim to be an expert on guns yet you discharged your weapon before you saw your target. "

"I said I was familiar with them. Not that I was an expert. My dad's the expert."

"But you're an excellent shot, are you not? Scored number one at shooting stars."

"I'm done with this line of questioning. If you want to talk to my families lawyer..."

"How where things with him and Jacob...

"Jacob, why? "

"Was their any animosity toward between the two?"

"They got into a fight like once. Boys will be boys right? Mr H had to break it up. You heard from him right? Jacob?"

"He didn't make it. I'm sorry. He was your friend?"

"We...we grew up together." Her voice is shaky as she tries not to cry.

"What happened Kaitlyn?"

"It was an accident. Ryan..he didn't mean to alright. After his encounter with the hunter in the woods..."

"Bobby Hackett... He tried to kill Ryan."

"C...correct."

"Now the dead girl in the pool... there seems to be too many accidents to be a coincidence."

Laura: I'll give you one reason why. The Hackett's. Mainly one in particular. Travis. They were trying to keep a secret that they were hunting these things...they didn't want anyone to know about it. once someone got too close...that journalist that disappeared then those hikers."

"You're suggesting the whole family covered it up. That they're responsible for the disappearances."

"Yes. They didn't want anyone to find out what they were doing or they were accidentally killed by one of those animals. And they had to get rid of the evidence."

"That's one hell of a big exaggeration young lady."

"Yeah, well, it's the truth. Chris Hackett implied he helped Bobby and Caleb cover up the murders."

"Are you sure?"

"Sheriff Hackett had me and my boyfriend locked up for two months to keep us quiet. Chris had other plans for what he wanted Travis to do to us. Their mom, that psycho witch wanted us all dead. After what happened to Kaylee...I didn't mean for it to happen...I thought something was chasing me..I did it in self defense. I'm sure she was a sweet girl."

Max: I don't know anything about what happened to that girl you said you found in the pool. I believe Laura if she said it was an accident. Dylan: We tried calling for help but the power and the phone line went out."

"Yes. We have a call logged but it only lasted a few seconds. Once some of the parents realized their kids hadn't called, they called authorities to send someone out there."

"Better late than never. " The detective looked at him sternly. Dylan cleared his throat. "Ryan and I decided to see if we could contact someone using the radio in the radio hut. But we couldn't reach anyone. Well, except the hunters. They picked up our radio signal. We went to tell the others. That's when we heard another gunshot. We followed it to the pool. That's when we saw the girl in the pool."

"Kaylee Hackett."

"Right. Kaylee. Ryan was the first one to recognize who it was."

"No one jumped in to try to save her?"

"It was obvious she was already dead...and I'm not exactly a good swimmer." If Ryan cut off his hand. "Especially now."

"In the radio hut, while I was trying to make a feedback loop to scare it off. It bit me. I didn't know what else to do..."

"Did you know her that well?"

"Not really. Kaylee barley spoke to anyone at camp. Except for Ryan...I talked to her a few times. Thought she and her brother were pretty weird but Ryan thought they were cool. "

"What made you think they were weird?"

"They were pretty quiet. Kept to themselves. As far as people knew, they never left their house except to help run the camp. When we went hiking, I saw something in the woods. I thought I saw a boy and I think she saw it too, she was pretty freaked..."

"Silas. Maybe? A boy thought dead, who died in a fire six years ago, up until now."

"Now that I think of it yeah. I think it was Silas we saw. "

"And you didn't tell anyone about this?"

"I thought I was seeing things because I was dehydrated. I'd hardly eaten that day."

"What happened after that? After you came across Kaylee's body in the pool."

"We went to the pool-house. "

"The bears?"

"It wasn't a bear! And I was being chased by those hillbillies WITH GUNS in the woods. They even shot at me. Did you check my phone yet?"

"They got me all caught up, about meeting the Laura chick and what Chris's creep ass brother did to her and her boyfriend. They told me what happened to Kaylee too."

"Then.....they told me about Abi."

Kaitlyn: I saw Jacob fiddling with the van. He asked me how to mess with it. I didn't think he'd actually did it.

Detective Novak: "Why didn't you mention it? To the others?"

"I wanted one more night of stupid fun with my friends. I didn't see any harm in it. "

Abi: Jacob messed with the van? I guess I sort of don't blame him. He was only thinking about the one thing my mom always talks about that teenage boys want.

"You were close to Emma and Dylan. Were you with Kaylee. She was the quiet type, like yourself?"

"I tried to get to know her but she didn't seem interested in making friends. When I saw her in the pool...I froze. She was already...sorry...I'm such an empath. I get this upset, even over virtual strangers..."

Detective Klein:"That's ok. Take your time."

Kaitlyn: Why didn't I jump in? It was clear that she was beyond saving. I didn't recognize who she was until Ryan said something.

Emma: I don't know. I wasn't there. I was running around all night trying to stay alive, hiding from those big scary hunter dudes. Am I repeating myself? Good! Because I know what you're trying to do. You're trying to trap me. I've seen Law and Order. Now to contact my mom...the lawyer." Emma crosses his arms and stares him down.

Detective Novak: "Ok. You can have your phone call now."

Abi: Laura shot her. I'm sure it was self defense. She thought she was one of the hunters..."

"That's what she told you?"

"Yes. I see no reason for her to lie. Why would she? Kaylee. I kind of felt sorry for her. She always seemed sad. Can...Can I go now?"

"Are you sure Dylan was never alone during the night? If you're trying to cover for him or anyone..."

Kaitlyn: if you're trying to pin something on him, or anyone of us, you're insane. We're obviously the victims here. They were after us."

"Uh, the body in the lake. I don't know. Maybe they were doing something illegal and thought we knew about it..and they had to get rid of the witnesses. Laura hinted that they did something like that before...when that cop had her and her boyfriend locked up for two months...Chris paid a visit and asked Travis why he hadn't taken care of the problem, like they had with the hikers and some journalist...I don't know. "

If Dylan didn't loose his hand/turned in the scrapyard. Kaitlyn and Ryan are dead. Could work for a Dylan lone survivor scenario.

Detective Novak: "We're not letting you go home until you answer our questions. Like what you were doing out in the woods, and why you were covered in blood. "

"Ask Kaitlyn."

"Dylan..."

"I'm not telling you anything until I see her."

"She didn't make it..."

"Wha...I told her to run. I told her to run away.. " How could that be possible? Did he catch up with her? Had she not been fast enough? Had the monster he had become tear her apart. Did what happen to Abi happen to her? Who else was alive? He couldn't worry about that now. Only one other person mattered. He had to know..."Where's...Where's Ryan? Is he ok? At least tell me he's ok."

"No. Dylan. He's not. Sheriff Hackett and Laura Kearney were killed in a car crash, Mr. Ezrahler was with them."
