First of all, I would like to say that I am Brazilian, but since most of the stories on this site are in English, I will try to do my best to write in that language as well. If you notice any grammatical errors, please forgive me, I'm doing the best I can. Hope you like it.
Tory still couldn't believe that she and Cobra Kai were back in the competition. Not that she was going to complain. That wasn't something that usually happened to her. Usually everything that happened in her life was meant to screw her over, so she better get lucky for once.
"Be thankful for that, Nichols." - Sensei Kim commented, stopping next to her. - "Don't think I didn't see you hesitating." - She added and Tory looked away, knowing exactly what she was talking about.
"I didn't hesitate." - Tory tried to lie and Kim Da-Eun snorted impatiently.
"Don't lie to me." - She ordered and Tory swallowed hard. - "I saw you hesitating when I asked you to switch places with Kwon." - Sensei Kim continued, crossing her arms under her chest. - ''Why did you try to protect Larusso from everyone else?'' - She asked and Tory knew she had to try to explain herself.
''I didn't...'' - Tory was going to say that she wasn't trying to protect Samantha Larusso, but Kim Da-Eun cut her off.
''I don't want to hear any more lies coming out of your mouth.'' - Sensei Kim stated harshly. - ''The only thing I want from you from now on is for you to no longer hesitate when I give you an order, no matter who you're fighting.'' - She continued and Tory looked at her. - ''Was I clear?'' - Kim Da-Eun questioned, practically shooting the girl with her gaze.
''Yes, sensei.'' - Tory agreed with a slight nod, because what else could she say?
She still needed to be on the team if she wanted to beat Sekai Takai and try to regain custody of Brandon.
"I understand that the Tiger Strike team is upset." - Gunther's voice echoed throughout the place. - "But rules are rules!" - He reaffirmed, only to hear more boos from the Russian team. - "Maybe it's best if we just continue with the tournament." - Gunther decided, choosing to ignore the protests from the Tiger Strike team. - "In this year's semifinals, only the team captains will have the right to fight." - He explained and Tory saw the piercing look that Sensei Kim gave her direction. - "First the men's semifinals will be held and then the women's semifinals will be held." - Gunther revealed, looking specifically at the women's and men's captains of the four remaining teams. - "The winner will be the one who gets six points first or manages to knock out their opponent!" - He finished and at the same time the panel on the side lit up, starting the draw and defining the first semifinal match.
Kwon Jae-Sung x Diego Alvarez
As much as the Furia de Pantera captain was an excellent fighter, he was probably the least threatening fighter among the four captains male fighters that were left. In other words, Kwon's chances of reaching the finals were quite high.
Axel Kovacevic x Robby Keene
Robby was going to face none other than the best fighter in the competition. Axel and the Iron Dragons hadn't lost a single match. If the boy Tory loved wanted to reach the finals, he would have to put on the best fight of his life. It was a difficult mission, but not impossible.
Zara Malik x Maria Alvarez
The show-off bitch was going to face the fighter from Spain. Tory hated to say it, but she was almost certain that Zara would beat Maria without any difficulty. She saw both Zara and Maria fighting and unfortunately, she had to admit that the Iron Dragons captain had a huge advantage.
Tory Nichols x Samantha Larusso
As soon as this matchup was announced, Tory let out a long sigh. Ever since she decided to return to Cobra Kai, she always thought she would end up facing Sam in the Sekai Takai finals. She never thought she would have to deal with another threat in the tournament, but putting up with Zara Malik's presence made her realize that Samantha Larusso was literally the least of her problems. The rivalry between Tory and Sam had lasted so long that it was strange to think that now they were no longer enemies. In fact, they were even friends and maybe for the first time in their lives, they were going to fight fairly. Without anger, without resentment and without hard feelings. Just being two girls who loved Karate and who had two completely different styles, but who could still face each other in a semifinal of the world tournament and then have coffee together after the fight. Something like closure after everything that happened between them.
Sam deserved this. Tory too.
''Hey, American.'' - Kwon called her and the girl snorted, knowing he was only going to bother her. - ''I hope you don't feel sorry for your little friend again.'' - He teased and Tory rolled her eyes.
''You should be worrying about your fight and not mine.'' - She reminded, trying not to pay so much attention to him.
''I'll do whatever it takes to win.'' - Kwon stated with an arrogant look. - ''And for your own good, you better do the same.'' - He threatened again, which made the girl laugh.
''Do you really think I'm afraid of you?'' - The girl scoffed, looking at him. - ''Go get ready for your fight, it's better.'' - She advised, turning to get away from him.
''You should have.'' - That was all she heard Kwon answer and Tory didn't even bother to turn around to look at him,
Idiot. Who did he think he was? It wasn't even worth wasting her time with him.
The female captain of Cobra Kai looked around the mat again to try to find out where Robby was and came across Kim Da-Eun walking quickly towards the bathroom. Why was the bitch walking so fast? Unable to contain her curiosity, Tory followed her silently. When the girl found her, she couldn't believe what she saw. Sensei Kim and Chozen Toguchi were kissing. What the hell was this? How the hell did this happen?
''Not here...'' - Tory heard Kim Da-Eun say and she simply couldn't contain herself anymore.
''Seriously?'' - She appeared, making Kim and Chozen move away at the same time.
The look of shame Tory saw on Sensei Kim's face was priceless. Damn, of course she should be ashamed.
"You care more about this boy than your own dojo."
Those were Sensei Kim's words when she found out that the girl cared about Robby. My God, she made Tory break her hand because of that, and now she was just here kissing Chozen? Who was supposedly also the enemy and who was also one of the Sensei of Miyagi Do? Kim Da-Eun was a fucking hypocrite and Tory had never hated her as much as she did now!
"I'm afraid it's best we talk later, Toguchi." - Sensei Kim sighed, without taking her eyes off Tory.
Chozen just looked from Tory to Kim and nodded, leaving silently and preferring to leave his lover and her student alone.
"You're much worse than I thought." - Tory blurted out, as soon as they were alone.
''Nichols, I understand that you're upset...'' - Whatever Kim Da-Eun was going to say, Tory interrupted her.
''Upset?'' - She shook her head, almost exploding with anger. - ''I'm fucking pissed.'' - Tory almost shouted and Sensei Kim looked at her. - ''You made me hell because of my feelings for Robby and now I find out that you were literally doing the same thing with Chozen.'' - She continued, trying to control herself so as not to advance on her. - ''You and your hypocrisy disgust me.'' - Tory finished, looking her up and down.
''I won't tolerate you offending me like that, Nichols.'' - Sensei Kim warned and Tory snorted.
''I'm the one who won't tolerate anything else from you.'' - She retorted, irritated. - ''From now on, I'll do what I want.'' - Tory assured, looking at her. - ''And you and no one else will stop me.'' - She stated and Kim Da-Eun knew very well that there was no way to argue with the girl now.
So, she just watched the girl walk away and leave, being alone with her own thoughts.
Tory returned to the mat more irritated than ever. She still couldn't believe that hypocritical bitch. If she could, she would have definitely punched her in the face.
"Did something happen?" - Sensei Kreese asked, noticing his favorite student's irritation.
"It's nothing, sensei." - Tory lied, knowing that now was not the time to talk about it. - "What time is Kwon going to fight?" - She asked with the intention of changing the subject.
"Competitors, it's time to start our semifinals!" - Tory's question was answered by the announcement in Gunther's voice. - "Semifinalist teams..." - He continued, looking at the Iron Dragons, Furia de Pantera, Miyagi Do and Cobra Kai teams. - "Please position yourself on the mat so we can start the first fight." - He asked and the four semifinalist teams began to position themselves.
Cobra Kai ended up facing the Miyagi Do team, while Furia de Pantera ended up facing the Iron Dragons. They were still finishing their positions when Sensei Kim returned. She didn't have the courage to look Tory in the eye. Deep down, she knew the girl was right to be angry. She had gone beyond the limits of what could be considered training and had often physically and psychologically abused Tory only to fall in love with her enemy in the same way as the 18-year-old girl she had judged so much. There was no explanation for this. The best she could do to hide her shame was to leave Tory Nichols alone.
"Let this fight be quick, Kwon Jae-Sung." - Sensei Kim ordered and the Korean nodded.
"And remember..." - Sensei Kreese added, catching Kwon's attention. - "We never show mercy to our enemies." - He reminded him and the male captain of Cobra Kai looked determinedly at his Sensei.
"No mercy, sensei." - Kwon stated and Sensei Kreese smiled with satisfaction.
Tory watched his idiot teammate position himself in the center of the mat at the same time as the Spanish captain did the same. Already positioned, Diego Alvarez exchanged quick glances with Maria and his Sensei, then looked back at Kwon who was looking at him as if he were easy prey.
"On your marks." - The referee asked and the two got into fighting stance. - "Greet." - He ordered and both Diego and Kwon bowed. - "Ready?" - The referee asked and by the look on Kwon's face, it was clear he was ready. - "And fight!" - He signaled for the fight to begin and Kwon wasted no time, being the first to attack.
As expected, Diego was not an opponent to be underestimated. He was very talented and it could be said that he even gave Kwon a bit of a hard time, but the Korean was still very upset after losing to Robby. He wanted to reach the final at any cost and he would run over anyone who got in his way. With that, he was the first to score. The fight between the Korean captain and the Spanish captain continued at full speed and after seven minutes of fighting, the score was four to two in favor of Kwon. Both were already a little tired and in a distraction by Diego, Kwon ended up knocking him out with a high kick to the face. The Spanish captain fell unconscious on the mat immediately and Gunther ran to check on him.
"He's just unconscious." - Gunther said, after the referee checked Diego's pulse. - ''Our first finalist is Kwon Jae-Sung, the captain of Cobra Kai!'' - He announced at the same time that the referee raised Kwon's hand, indicating that he was the winner of that match.
The Korean made a point of leaving the center of the mat and staring at Robby, as if saying with his gaze that he was next. Tory didn't fail to notice this exchange of glances and swallowed hard. She wasn't afraid of Kwon, but that didn't mean she wasn't afraid for Robby. Unfortunately, she had an idea of what Kwon was capable of.
"That's how it's done, American." - Kwon teased, looking at Tory with irony.
The girl just rolled her eyes in response, deciding to ignore Kwon's words. She was already completely out of patience with him and the truth is that now she had much bigger concerns to deal with than that idiot's provocations. The next fight was making her a little anxious. Robby was going to face Axel now. Everyone who followed the tournament knew that Axel Kovacevic was the most threatening fighter in the competition. There was no way she wouldn't be worried.
"The next fight is between Axel Kovacevic and Robby Keene." - Gunther's voice warned, looking at the spectators. - "You can now position yourselves." - He continued, looking at the male captains of the Iron Dragons and Miyagi Do.
Before positioning themselves, Axel listened to some more instructions from the Iron Dragons Sensei, also known as Sensei Wolf, and Tory smiled when she saw Johnny Lawrence pulling Robby into a tight hug. Other members of the Miyagi Do also offered words of encouragement to him. When Robby finally positioned himself in the center of the mat, Tory couldn't contain herself and decided to talk to him:
"Hey." - She called him and the boy she loved looked at her at the same moment. - "Good luck!" - Tory wished and the smile Robby gave her back made her heart beat faster.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" - Kwon complained, looking from Tory to Kim Da-Eun.
"I'm wishing my boyfriend good luck." - She replied simply. - "I don't think Sensei Kim cares, it is not?" - Tory turned to Kim Da-Eun and the woman smiled cynically at her.
"As long as you're focused on your fight, I don't think it's a problem." - That's what the bitch replied, not wanting Tory to mention her relationship with Chozen to the others.
"Do you really think it's normal for our female captain to be sleeping with the enemy?" - Kwon spread his arms, still outraged by all of this.
I mean... Sensei Kim had asked Kwon to keep an eye on Tory and now out of nowhere, she decided to let it go? Why?
"It's not that big of a deal, Kwon." - Sensei Kreese got involved, even seeming a little amused by this situation. - ''Robby Keene was also a Cobra Kai and his father is one of my best students.'' - He said, exchanging a look with Tory. - ''Just because he's on the wrong side now doesn't mean he's the enemy.'' - John Kreese concluded, shrugging.
As soon as she heard that, Tory held back her laughter. She knew that Sensei Kreese didn't mind her dating Robby. He practically caught them in the room alone and did nothing. The truth is that he had a soft spot for her. A brotherly feeling almost as if he were her real grandfather. Was John Kreese manipulative? Yes. Was he a psychopath? Sometimes. Did he scare people? That too. But despite all that, one thing no one could deny was that he really cared about Tory Nichols and Johnny Lawrence. In his wrong way? Totally, but he still cared and for Tory that was enough.
Realizing that it was a losing battle, Kwon chose to keep his anger bottled up and not say anything else. If he wanted to get revenge on Tory's idiot boyfriend, he had to act. It was just a matter of waiting for the right moment to do it.
"On your marks." - The referee asked, making the Miyagi Do captain and the Iron Dragons captain get into fighting stance. - "Greet each other." - He ordered and both Robby and Axel bowed. - "Ready?" - The referee asked, looking at the boys. - "And fight!" - He signaled for the fight to begin and Axel went after Robby like a lion that had escaped from its cage.
It almost seemed like someone had said something to him. Axel was big, strong and probably the best fighter in the tournament, but the Iron Dragons' specialty was counterattack. Only this time, he was attacking with a ferocity that no one could have imagined. Robby tried to defend himself and dodge the blows as best he could, but after a whole minute of just defending himself, Axel managed to land a kick on Robby Keene's ribs.
"Point!" - The referee signaled and the scoreboard on the side changed, showing that it was one to zero for Axel Kovacevic.
Robby put his hand on his ribs, feeling the impact of Axel's blow, and looked at the referee, nodding that everything was fine and that he could continue the fight. With that, the referee signaled for the fight to restart and Axel started attacking again. The force that the Iron Dragons captain was using in his blows was way out of the ordinary and Robby really wasn't prepared for it. So, Axel hit him. Again.
"Point!" - The referee determined and the scoreboard changed again, showing that it was two to zero for Axel Kovacevic.
Tory noticed the look of satisfaction on Terry Silver and Sensei Wolf's faces, and she knew right away what had happened. They had probably told Axel to give it his all in this fight. The female captain of Cobra Kai knew that Silver had obvious reasons to dislike Miyagi Do and Robby. She still remembered when the green-eyed boy had invaded the Cobra Kai dojo and disrespected Terry Silver in front of everyone. Of course, when he had the chance to get revenge on Robby, he would do it. Terry Silver was always going to be a damn bastard, after all. It was a good thing Sensei Kreese punched him in the face when he had the chance.
The fight between Robby and Axel started again, and once again, Axel managed to hit Robby without him being able to defend himself.
Now the scoreboard indicated that it was three to zero in favor of Axel Kovacevic, and Tory was already getting really nervous.
"Looks like your little boyfriend is getting his ass kicked." - Kwon scoffed, laughing.
"Shut up." - Tory snorted and Kwon raised his eyebrows at her, surprised by the girl's reaction.
She usually just ignored his comments.
Johnny Lawrence, Daniel Larusso, Miguel Diaz and Sam Larusso were also trying to encourage Robby, but the truth is that no one expected Axel to be attacking with such anger. If Robby just stayed on the defense, Axel would crush him. Damn. That was it. Robby needed to change his style.
"Robby, you need to attack him!" - She shouted, meeting the eyes of the boy she loved.
Seeing Tory encouraging him, the green-eyed boy felt his confidence return at the same time and took a deep breath, before looking back at Axel Kovacevic again. When the referee restarted the fight, Robby Keene's posture was different. He was attacking and moving much faster than expected. This surprised Axel and after an unexpected jump, Robby managed to break through Axel's defense and land a kick in his stomach.
"No point!" - The referee made a gesture with his hand that signaled no point and Tory almost wanted to punch the idiot in the face.
Of course that was a point. But then, she looked at Terry Silver's face and she understood. The damn bastard had done it again.
"What the fuck, judge? Are you crazy?" - Johnny Lawrence cursed, in true Johnny Lawrence style.
"There was a block." - The referee tried to justify it, even though it was clear that Robby's blow had broken through Axel's block.
Axel looked at the referee and looked back to meet the eyes of the Iron Dragons Sensei and Tory saw the moment that Sensei Wolf whispered "Finish him off", which made the Iron Dragons captain's posture stiffen again.
The fight had barely restarted when Axel flew at Robby again. This time, he managed to hit Robby with a punch in the stomach and the panel on the side changed, showing that it was four to zero for Axel Kovacevic. If the Iron Dragons captain scored two more points, he would win. Robby's only chance of winning now is if he managed to knock Axel out.
"How did we manage to lose to this guy?" - Min-Seok commented, laughing out loud.
"He'll never have this much luck again in his life." - Chung-Hee also joined in the provocation, laughing along.
"Keep it up, loser." - Kwon teased, looking directly at Robby.
"You guys are so funny." - Tory scoffed as he heard the Koreans' comments. - ''Whoever sees you laughing like that, can't even imagine that you had your asses kicked a few minutes ago.'' - She continued and their mocking faces fell at the same moment. - ''Especially you, Kwon.'' - Tory added and the Korean had to be held back by Sensei Kreese so he wouldn't go after her.
''Stop teasing, Nichols.'' - Sensei Kim called her attention and Tory rolled her eyes at that hypocritical bitch.
What moral did she think she had to scold her after what Tory saw?
''And don't you dare touch her.'' - Sensei Kreese warned, looking into Kwon's eyes who huffed in anger and got away from him, going the other way and choosing to stay away from Tory.
With that little confusion between her and Kwon, Tory hadn't realized that the fight between Axel and Robby had started again. Robby continued to defend himself and it was clear that her boyfriend was getting exhausted, but if there was one thing that Tory admired about Robby, it was his resistance. Anyone else would have already fallen, after taking so many strong blows from Axel.
The fight continued for another two minutes, until the Iron Dragons captain managed to land a cross punch on Robby's cheek. The punch was so strong that Robby Keene spat blood. He was so stunned by the impact of the blow that he ended up falling backwards and his back collided directly with the figure of Kwon Jae-Sung. The Korean, still angry about Tory's words and the defeat he suffered, pushed Robby, making him fall to the ground.
The Miyagi Do team reacted immediately and Miguel, Hawk, Kenny and Sam crossed the mat when they saw Kwon, Yoon, Min-Seok and Chung-Hee surrounding Robby. Both the Cobra Kai team and the Miyagi Do team began to shove each other and, seeing the confusion that was about to form, Gunther asked them to stop. The Miyagi Do team even tried to listen, but as soon as Robby got up, Kwon and the other Koreans pushed him again. Chaos was beginning to set in and Tory approached the fight to try to get her teammates to stop attacking Robby. Not that Kwon would hear, considering they had almost fighting. She thought some of the Sensei would help, but only Chozen and Kim were trying to contain the commotion. Daniel Larusso, Johnny Lawrence and Sensei Kreese were just arguing, as usual. The other two semifinalists, Furia de Pantera and Iron Dragons, also didn't make any effort to interfere in the fight. Terry Silver even seemed amused by the confrontation between the two rival teams.
"Stop now!" - Gunther ordered, desperate to see Miyagi Do and Cobra Kai pushing each other on national television. - "The semifinal must continue." - He continued, looking at the scoreboard that indicated that it was five to zero for Axel Kovacevic. - ''If you don't stop, I'll be forced to...'' - He was about to threaten to disqualify both teams, when he felt a punch squarely in his face.
The Tiger Strike Sensei had just punched the main organizer of Sekai Takai in the face. Gunther was still trying to assimilate the blow, when the Russian Sensei shouted:
''Атакуйте!'' - He pointed forward and the entire Tiger Strike team began to invade the mat and the Sekai Takai stage.
''Come on, damn it!'' - The Dublin Thunder Sensei also shouted and that's when the real chaos began.
Little by little, all the teams began to join in the confusion and soon everyone was fighting. Senseis, students, referees, workers, everyone. Chaos was formed and anyone who wasn't on the same team was attacking each other. Hawk and Demetri ran to the stage to fight the Russians who were attacking the entire referee committee. The Tiger Strike team was still very upset about being disqualified.
Kenny and Devon knew they had to protect themselves. They were the youngest in the tournament and were fully aware that they could get seriously hurt, so they just ran towards the stairs to try to escape the confusion.
Sensei Kresse saw Terry Silver running out of the gym and went after him. He had the knife he had won from Kim Sun-Yang inside his kimono and with all this confusion going on, he knew it would be the perfect moment to get revenge on Silver for putting him in jail. But in the midst of the chaos, he didn't even notice the knife falling from his kimono and just continued on his way, not wanting to lose sight of Terry Silver.
Now Kim Sun-Yang's knife was on the mat floor and anyone could pick it up.
The fights continued everywhere. Daniel Larusso was fighting one of Terry Silver's henchmen named Dennis, while Johnny Lawrence was facing Sensei Wolf. Miguel was fighting three Dublin Thunder fighters who started attacking him out of nowhere, and Samantha Larusso was getting beaten up by Maria Alvarez, the captain of Spain.
Tory tried to find Robby in the chaos, but there were so many people fighting that the first thing she saw was Maria punching Sam in the face. She wasted no time and ran to give Maria a flying kick, knocking her off Sam.
"Get up, Sam." - She gave her friend a hand and helped her up. - "We need to find the others and get out of here." - Tory said and Sam nodded, getting ready to leave, but before they could, Zara Malik appeared right in front of them.
"I told you you were going to pay for what you did to my phone, bitch." - Zara said, going after Tory.
Maria also managed to recover and attacked Sam again. Both semifinalists were fighting now: Tory against Zara and Maria against Sam. With so much going on, she hadn't even been able to stop and pay attention to Zara, but she knew the girl was still angry.
"I did you a favor by breaking your phone and sparing your followers from seeing your ugly face." - Tory teased as she dodged Zara's blows.
"Your boyfriend didn't think my face was that ugly." - Zara replied with an ironic smile. - "He even kissed me." - She added, making Tory's anger come back with a vengeance.
The blonde attacked Zara again and although the female captain of the Iron Dragons fought very well within the rules of the tournament, she wasn't an expert in street fighting. Tory was and taking advantage of her reach, she managed to land a kick right in Zara's mouth. Seeing that Tory had managed to get blood from her lower lip, Zara noticed the blood falling on her hand and looked at Tory with hatred.
"Looks like someone is mad." - Tory laughed, looking at Zara's expression. - "Why don't you take a picture of your cut lip too?" - She suggested in a teasing tone.
On the other side of the mat, Robby Keene was desperate. He had lost sight of Tory Nichols and he just wanted to know if the girl he loved was okay. He was ready to run across the mat to find her, when he felt a kick on his back and ended up falling to the ground.
Kwon had just attacked him from behind.
"Is that the only way you can hit me?" - Robby scoffed, getting up quickly and facing the Korean.
"I'm going to kill you." - Kwon snorted, trying to kick Robby again.
Robby ducked and managed to dodge Kwon's kick, but the male captain of Cobra Kai didn't give up and kept attacking him. The green-eyed boy didn't want to fight Kwon right now. His priority was to find Tory, but he knew that Kwon wouldn't stop. So when the Korean jumped and prepared to kick him again, Robby rolled under Kwon and attacked him with a low kick to the legs, just as his rival's feet had touched the ground. Since Kwon was off balance, he fell hard on his back.
Without hesitation, Robby ran away from him. He couldn't waste time with Kwon now. Realizing that his rival had disappeared from his reach, Kwon became furious. He punched the ground in anger and saw something curious a few meters away. Kim Sun-Yang's knife. The Korean had seen Sensei Kreese with that knife before. He had to get the knife before someone else did, and that's exactly what he did. With the knife in hand, he put it inside his kimono and went back to looking for Robby. If the Miyagi Do captain thought he could humiliate him and get away with it, he was very wrong. No mercy, right? Kwon had a plan for that knife and it was going to be Robby Keene's heart. He was going to deeply regret what he did. Kwon was going to regain his honor and it was going to be now.
The Korean was walking through the crowd and dodging the fights that were happening when he saw Robby again. He was heading towards his rival when he felt a punch in the face. When he looked up, he saw that it was Axel.
"I would be in the finals right now if you hadn't pushed the Miyagi Do captain." - Axel complained, visibly upset.
"Get out of my way." - Kwon gritted his teeth and Axel just attacked him again.
If Kwon wanted to get to Robby, he would have to get past Axel Kovacevic.
Robby continued to look for Tory and when he saw her, he realized that she was fighting with Zara. Also right next to her was Samantha who was fighting with Maria and Hawk who was fighting with Diego. He tried to look for Demetri, Miguel and his father, but he couldn't find any of the three. The green-eyed boy continued his run towards Tory and arrived in time to see his girlfriend land an hook on Zara's chin. The Iron Dragons female captain fell unconscious to the ground at the same time. Without missing a beat, Tory ran to help Samantha who was still fighting with Maria. But this time, the Miyagi Do female captain didn't need Tory's help and before the blonde could interfere in the fight, she had already managed to knock Maria out with a tornado kick.
"I never doubted you, Larusso." - Tory joked with an ironic smile.
"Does not fill." - Sam laughed, lightly punching Tory in the arm, who laughed along with her.
Hawk and Diego were still fighting when the Spanish captain noticed that Maria was lying on the ground. He immediately pushed Hawk aside and decided to abandon the fight, deciding to prioritize Maria's well-being. Apparently they were dating. Or something like that.
''Tory!'' - Robby called her and she sighed in relief when she saw that the boy she loved was okay. - ''Are you okay?'' - He asked, hugging her tightly.
''I'm fine.'' - Tory assured him against his neck. - ''Where's Devon?'' - She questioned, pulling away to look Robby in the eyes.
''I saw her and Kenny heading towards the stairs, I think they're safe.'' - Robby replied and Tory hugged him again.
It was no secret that the two children were important to them. Devon and Kenny were kind of their pupils.
"Robby, have you seen Miguel?" - Sam asked and the boy shook his head. - "I need to find him." - She commented, worried.
"And I need to find Demetri." - Hawk approached, after making sure that Diego was not going to attack him anymore.
"Why don't we split up and look for them?" - Tory suggested and Robby, Sam and Hawk nodded.
"You guys go to the right and we go to the left!" - Robby decided, going with Tory to the left and watching Hawk and Sam going to the right.
Every now and then, Robby and Tory ended up having to beat someone up along the way. The Cobra Kai captain even saw Kim and Chozen fighting together, but she couldn't see Sensei Kreese, Terry Silver and Johnny Lawrence anywhere. The girl had no idea, but inside one of the training rooms, Johnny Lawrence was beating up Terry Silver and saving Sensei Kreese from death. Why did he do that? Not even Johnny Lawrence knew.
The young couple soon spotted Demetri who was fighting with two Tiger Strike fighters. Obviously, they ran to help him.
Sam and Hawk had also just found Miguel who was panting after defeating three fighters from Ireland. When he saw Samantha, he ran to hug her.
"Thank God, you're okay." - He breathed a sigh of relief, keeping his arms around his girlfriend.
"Be careful." - Hawk warned as he saw Redentores fighters preparing to attack them.
The fights continued everywhere and for some reason, the TV broadcast had not yet been cut. The whole world was watching the chaos that had broken out at Sekai Takai.
Tired of seeing Axel in his way, Kwon took Kim Sun-Yang's knife from inside his kimono and showed it to the Iron Dragons captain.
"If you don't get out of my way, I'll..." - The Korean was going to threaten him, but Axel was faster and kicked Kwon's hand, making the damn knife fall to the mat again.
Kwon looked around to see where the knife had fallen, but he couldn't find it anywhere. When he advanced towards Axel again, his eyes went cold and his face became expressionless. Someone had just stabbed him from behind. Could it have been karma? Maybe. The fact is that Kim Sun-Yang's knife had just pierced his heart.
His eyes closed and Kwon's body fell like a brick in the center of the mat. The male captain of Cobra Kai was dead.
Samantha Larusso had just dodged a blow from the Brazilian fighter when she saw the body and the pool of blood on the mat.
"Help, someone's dead!" - She screamed so loudly that everyone immediately stopped fighting.
Little by little, people began to surround Kwon's body. Johnny, who had just returned to the main mat in order to look for Robby, Miguel and his other students ran to the place Sam was pointing. Daniel Larusso did too. The moment he rolled Kwon's body and saw the knife stuck in his chest, Daniel fell to his knees.
"The boy really is dead." - He confirmed, running his hand through his hair.
No one could believe what had just happened.
Knowing that everything was still being televised, the main organizer of Sekai Takai yelled:
"Cut the transmission!" - Gunther demanded, stepping in front of the cameras and making a gesture with his hands.
And then, everything went black.
It was really hard to write this chapter. I'm not very good at describing fights, so it was kind of hard to describe all of this. I also wasn't completely satisfied with my writing in this chapter, but I ended up deciding to post it anyway.
I even wanted to follow the leaks 100%, but honestly I found the idea of Kwon falling on the knife kind of ridiculous. So, I decided that someone random would stab him.
I also refuse to see Tory forgiving Kim. I know the show will try to do that, but I still haven't forgotten everything she did to Tory in S5.
The next chapter is the last one, but I think I should only post it next month. I kind of decided that the last chapter I want to follow completely from my head, because I obviously refuse to write Keenry not being champions together. Here Keenry will be happy :)))
If you can, let me know what you think! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxX
