I want to do a chapter where Eduardo talks about his wife since in Rio 2 Eduardo didn't even mentioned his wife name. I decide to name Eduardo's wife named Sapphire.
Chapter 14: Remembrance
One morning Eduardo woke up and yawns from his nap. Since he give the leadership to his son-in-law Blu. Things been going good for him and he can relax.
He exits the hollow to get some breakfast. He sees the blue macaw tribe flying somewhere that he do not know what it's going on. He sees all the blue macaws were perched in the trees and and in the distance were a group of multiple birds from different specious.
"What's going on here?" Eduardo asked as he perched down near a blue macaw at the top of the tree.
"Blu and his friends arranged some of their friends from Rio to gathered here." Blue Sentry answered him.
"I see." Eduardo said but he is a bit annoyed that Nico, Pedro, Rico, and Ricky didn't ask him permission to perform their show.
"Isn't this great Eddie. Blu and Jewel friends from Rio is going to sing us a song in the Amazon Rainforest." Mimi said to her brother.
"Yes it is great but I wish Nico, Pedro, Rico, and Ricky asked me first before deciding to do another show." Eduardo said.
"Come on Eddie. Blu, Jewel, Banjo, and Grace introduced me to them." Mimi explained to her brother.
"Let's see the show." Eduardo said.
"That's the spirit." Mimi said.
"I want to see how this show goes." Peter said.
"Pete, it will go great my love. Blu, Jewel, Banjo, and Grace know those birds and those birds came from Rio." Susan said.
"I am excited to dance when they sing." Jenny said.
"I love to dance and sing." Roberto said.
"Sure you do Roberto. I like to sing. I did singing when I was a chick." Garth said.
"Eddie, you are going to love the show that the birds will sing. I talked to them, they seem nice birds, and Jewel said to me those birds are her friends and they are not bad." Mimi said.
"Okay let's watch the show." Eduardo said.
The blue macaws went silent and the group of birds from Rio began to start up their song. Blu and Jewel were nowhere to be seen yet, but they would appear shortly. For now, the chorus began singing their lines.

That's why we love Carnaval.
As the chorus all performed their dancing moves, performing barrel-rolls, flips and making shapes using their colors, Jewel and Grace came into action, flying out from from the crowd of their birds. Jewel"s mate and her children following her while Grace's mate and children following Grace.

Blu and Banjo flew up besides Jewel and Grace and held their position whilst they began to sing.

The family of 11 perched down on a branch near the river, dancing and singing together as a family.
You can't see it coming you can't find it anywhere else.
Pedro the Cardinal flew, Sofia the Cardinal, and Ricky the lorikeet in front of the blue macaw family and began to sing his song in his hip-hop style.

Pedro, Sofia, and Ricky landed themselves besides Nico and Lillian still dancing of course and wa standing next to Rafael.
Nico took of his bottle-cap and played it in his wings like a tambourine and prepared to sing his line too.

Nico, Pedro, Rico, and Ricky jumped off the branch they were standing on and flew together into front of the crowds.

By now, Blu, Jewel, Tiago, Bia, Carla, Banjo, Grace, Max, Belle, Crystal, Junior, Nico, Pedro, Lillian, Sofia, Rico, Ricky, Rafael, and Tony were all flying together in front of the chorus. Every one of them sang together in perfect tones.
Everything can be for real, in Rio
Blu, Jewel, Banjo, and Grace flew into the air together and flew around each other. Pedro flew beside them and performed his famous lovehawk squawk.

The blue macaw tribe were extremely amazed by this wonderful music of samba and cheered loudly for the performances. They never heard music like that before and that was an amazing song for the blue macaw tribe. Blu, Jewel, Banjo, Grace, their friends and family jumped down on the trees and took a bow that everyone cheered for them.
Eduardo and Peter was impressed by their music. Their tribe had been singing different types of music and never heard samba music before. Maybe one day the two elder males will visit Rio.
"Woo!' Mimi cheered clapping her wings. "Was that a good show Eddie?" Mimi asked her brother.
"Yes it was Mimi. I really enjoy it." Eduardo answered.
"Wohoo!" Susan cheered. "That was amazing show and all the birds from Rio can sing. What do you think of this beautiful show Peter?" Susan asked her mate.
"It was very impressive." Peter admitted. Susan and Jenny is glad that Peter enjoyed their music.
"That was an beautiful amazing show. I love Samba now." Jenny said.
"Yeah me too. Those birds from Rio got spirit in singing." Roberto said.
"Sure I love those birds. Those birds music are interesting." Garth said.
The blue macaws flew to see the birds from Rio to praise their music. Mimi came to see her niece Jewel.
"Jewel that was so amazing. You never told me birds from the city could sing." Mimi said.
"I am glad you love it Aunt Mimi." Jewel replied with a smile. The two hugged each other. "What do you think dad?"
"I love it sweetie. You guys got guts." Eduardo answered.
"Cool dad. Do you remember Nico, Pedro, Rico, and Ricky?" Jewel asked her father. "The birds who we just sang with are close friends of theirs." Jewel said to her father.
"Yes the canary, the cardinal, and the two lorikeets who is hosting a talent show." Eduardo said.
"That's us." Pedro said.
"The pleasures all ours, sir." Nico greeted, taking off his bottle-cap for a couple of seconds as he kind gesture.
"We been singing and partying for all the birds." Rico said.
"Yeah we try to keep the other birds entertain in the Amazon." Ricky said.
"I see." Eduardo said.
Daniel the blue and gold macaw clapped in round of applause.
"That was an amazing song Nico, Pedro, Rico, and Ricky." Daniel said.
"Who is he?" Blu asked Nico.
"Oh this is our new friend Daniel. He sings and dance." Nico answered.
"We met Daniel at the Utopia Paradise club." Pedro told Blu.
"Daniel was a good dancer. He showed us his dance move." Rico said.
"He got skills." Ricky said.
"Hi Daniel, I am Blu." Blu shakes Daniel's wing.
"Nice to meet you Blu." Daniel shakes his wing.
"Hi Daniel nice to meet you I am Jewel." Jewel shakes Daniel's wing.
"Pleasure is all mine." Daniel shakes her wing.
"Daniel this is our children Bia, Carla, and Tiago." Jewel introduced her children.
"Nice to meet you sir." Bia said in a friendly manner.
"Pleasure to meet you three." Daniel said. He shakes Bia's wing first and Bia shakes his wing back, he shakes Carla's wing second and Carla shakes his wing, and then he shakes Tiago's wing and Tiago shakes his wing.
"Daniel. You have more blue macaw friends to meet." Pedro said.
"Hi Daniel my name is Banjo." Banjo shakes his wing. Daniel shakes his wing.
"Hi Banjo, it's so nice to meet you." Daniel shakes his wing.
"Nice to meet you too." Banjo continued shaking Daniel's wing.
"Hi I am Grace. It's a pleasure to meet you Daniel." She shakes Daniel's wing.
"It's a pleasure to meet you too ma'am." Daniel shakes her wing.
"Daniel. This is mine and Banjo's children Belle, Crystal, Junior, and Max." Grace introduced Daniel to her children.
"Hi Daniel it's so nice to meet you." Belle said in a nice way.
"With pleasure young lady and young ones." Daniel said. He shakes Belle's wing first and Belle shakes his wing back, he shakes Crystal's wing second and Crystal shakes his wing, he shakes Junior's wing and Junior shakes his wing, and lastly he shakes Max's wing and Max shakes his wing back.
"I love children. They are so sweet." Daniel said.
"Yes they are." Blu said.
"I heard the story about you two. You and your brother Banjo lead your tribe against the loggers." Daniel said.
"Yes we did." Blu and Banjo blushed.
"Nico told me the story." Daniel said.
"My clan and I will get along with you and your tribe." Daniel said to the brothers.
"That's cool." Banjo said.
"Hi Daniel, I am Eduardo the former leader of the blue macaw clan." Eduardo shakes Daniel's wing and Daniel shake his wing back.
"Eduardo give the leadership to me and my brother after the loggers was defeated." Blu told Daniel.
"That's cool." Daniel said.
"We help the blue macaws and scarlet macaws defeat the loggers along with the Amazon animals." Nico said.
"See you guys later. I need to go back to my tribe." Daniel said.
"Okay see you later Daniel." Rico said.
"See you guys." Daniel said.
"Since we performed our song. What should we do?" Banjo asked everyone.
"I want to do a girls time with mom, Carla, Belle, Crystal, Aunt Grace, Aunt Mimi, Aunt Jenny, and Grandma Susan." Bia said.
"That's a good idea Bia. Let's go to my hollow and do girls stuff and do makeup." Mimi said.
"What will you do Blu?" Jewel asked her mate.
"I will spend time with Eduardo." Blu said.
"Cool. Have fun boys." Jewel said.
"Have fun girls and enjoy." Eduardo said.
Jewel, Mimi, Bia, Carla, Grace, Susan, Jenny, Belle, and Crystal leave from the tree, leaving the rest everyone alone. Once they were out of sight, Tiago, Max, and Junior wants to spend time with their uncles Nico, Pedro, Rico, and Ricky.
"Hey Uncle Nico, Uncle Pedro, Uncle Rico, and Uncle Ricky. Do you guys want to come lily pad skiing with us?" Tiago asked his uncles.
"You bet." Nico said.
"Yeah I am in." Pedro added.
"Count me in." Rico said.
"Me too." Ricky replied, playfully patting Tiago's head.
The seven of them took flight and Blu told them to be careful.
"Blu, me and Sofia will hang out at the clay banks." Lillian told him.
"See you later." Sofia said.
The two heads to the clay banks.
"Blu, me and my father-in-law Peter will hang out at the Brazil nut tree. See you later." Banjo said.
"See you later Blu and Eduardo." Peter said.
Banjo and Peter heads off to the Brazil nut tree. It is only Blu and Eduardo. Blu sees Eduardo is looking at the sky and he wants to know about what his father-in-law thinking about.
"Eduardo is everything okay. Do you want to be alone?" Blu asked him.
"Yes I am thinking about someone and you don't have to leave." Eduardo said.
"Who?" Blu asked him..
'My mate. Her name is Sapphire." Eduardo answered, closing his eyes and prevent tears from dropping. 'You see before I had Jewel, I had a beautiful mate and we have been together for years. I had a crush on her when we were teens. I asked her out and we went on dates. After going on alot of dates and I asked her to marry me, she said yes, and she accepted my proposal. We got married and had Jewel. Oh Blu, I love her so much and she was the love of my life. I thought we will be together forever until one day the humans came during the night, destroyed our homes, took our homes, and the trees was on fire. We tried to escape, but the tree branch fell off her, I tried to save her but it's too late. The last thing she told me that she loved me."
Eduardo was crying. Blu feels so sorry for his father-in-law. He felt embarrassed crying in front of his son-in-law, but he had to know now that he lived her. "After my wife death, I had Mimi, Roberto, and the whole blue macaw clan. I was looking for Jewel but I couldn't find her." Eduardo finished his story.
Blu feels sad for Eduardo. He came to confront him. He have sadness in him too. He came and hug him. "I'm so sorry that happened to your wife and I can't imagine how you feel and what you are going through. Me and Banjo never met our parents."
"Seems like we both loved our family members." Eduardo said.
"Yeah I wonder if our parents are still alive, dead, or somewhere else?" Blu wondered.
"Wow. I see why you were both raised by Linda but Sapphire was everything to me." Eduardo said is still in tears. "I need alone time Blu."
"Okay no problem." Blu said.
"Thank you." Eduardo said.
"You're welcome." Blu said.
Blu flies away. Meanwhile the girls is giving each other makeovers. Jewel, Grace, Mimi, Susan, Jenny, Bia, Carla, Belle, and Crystals are wearing pink flowers on top of their heads.
"Wow I look pretty." Bia said as she twirled herself.
"I look fabulous." Carla said.
"I looked like a pretty girl." Belle said.
"I look stunning." Crystal said.
Mimi chuckled. "You four look beautiful." She said.
"Thank you Aunt Mimi." Bia, Carla, Belle, and Crystal.
Jewel and Aunt Mimi looked at each other makeovers.
"You're welcome." Aunt Mimi said.
"When you were young Jewel. I give you a makeover." Mimi said.
Jewel is thinking about her mother.
"Yeah Aunt Mimi. I wish my mom was here but sadly she is not. I miss her so much." Jewel said.
"I miss Sapphire so much. She was the best sister-in-law I had. I still remember how she and Eduardo met?" Aunt Mimi said.
"Eduardo and Sapphire met at the mangos tree. That's how Eduardo and Sapphire fall in love with each other. It was love at first sight for them. They went on dates. Eduardo introduced me to her. I like her. I was so happy to see the wedding between my brother and Sapphire. I cry in tears." Aunt Mimi said.
"Wow that was a beautiful story." Jewel said.
"After Sapphire died. Eduardo changed and went a dark path. He become the leader of the Spix Macaw and after the humans attacked us and destroyed our homes. He hated humans so much. He made an announcement to his tribe and said nobody can't leave the tribe." Aunt Mimi explained to her.
Jewel can't belive her father went a dark path. That was not her father she once know.
"But he changed his ways thanks to Blu and he leaves the dark path forever." Aunt Mimi said.
"Let's hope dad stay in the good side forever." Jewel said.
"Yeah. But Jewel tell me how you met Blu?" Aunt Mimi said.
"Well I first met Blu at Tulio's aviary in Rio. He saw me as an angel. He tried to kiss me on the beak when we first met. I didn't kiss him because we just met. We were not friends at first and I was angry at him for trying to kiss me. The human boy Fernando before he redeem himself, he captured us, and took us to the smugglers hideout. The smugglers chain me and Blu together then the smugglers chain Banjo and Grace together. Banjo, Grace, Blu, and I escaped from the smugglers. Jewel explained to Aunt Mimi.
"Then me, Blu, Banjo, and Grace found the Vista Chinesa to spend the night. The next morning we met Rafael, Eva, and the toucan kids. Rafael teach us how to fly. The city of Rio was beautiful. We met Nico and Pedro and those two party birds took us to the Samba Club. Nico and Pedro play I Wanna Party. Blu was dancing uncontrollably and my hatred towards him was gone. I started to fall in love with him. We danced and we almost kiss until the party was ruined by Mauro and his marmosets who were hired by Nigel and Hector. We have a birds vs monkeys war and the birds won the battle. Me, Blu, Banjo, Grace, Rafael, Nico, and Pedro took the tram to Luiz's garage. Rafael, Nico, and Pedro set the mood to bring us together then me and Blu love each other. We arrived at Luiz's garage. We met Luiz who is a bulldog. At Luiz's garage Luiz got the chain off us. I offered him to stay in the wild with me because I warm up to him but he wants to go back to his human Linda we had an argument. Blu and I went separate ways after the argument. Grace follow me and wants me to go back to Blu until the smugglers pets the evil cockatoos Nigel and Hector captured me and Grace. Nigel captured me and Hector captured Grace. If you remember the cockatoos who tried to kill Blu and Banjo in the Amazon after they got blown up by the dynamite." Jewel said.
"I remember them. The ugly cockatoos who wore the sweaters." Aunt Mimi said.
"Yes that's them. Me and Grace was locked up in the Carnival chicken float. Blu and Banjo tried to rescue us but Nigel and Hector captured them and out them into cages. The smugglers put me, Grace, Blu, Banjo, and the other birds to an unknown country. Blu and Banjo come up with a plan to save all the birds. First Blu open mine and Banjo open Grace. Together we open the cage and free the other birds. The birds ecspaed. We got to get out but Blu and Banjo doesn't know how to fly until Nigel pinned Blu to the floor and Hector pinned Banjo to the floor. Me and Grace tried to fight him but Nigel shove me to the side and Hector shove Grace to the plane. Our cages fell down to our wings and we were in so much pain." Jewel said.
"Oh My God. Why would Nigel and Hector do that to you and Grace?" Mimi said in horror and asked her niece.
"Blu and Banjo was so smart. Blu and Banjo saw the fire extinguisher. Blu hook the fire extinguisher to Nigel's leg and Banjo hook it to Hector's leg. They used the hook which set Nigel and Hector blasted off the plane. The smugglers jumped off the plane. Me and Grace fell off the plane, Blu and Banjo jumped after us and they managed to catch us. They said to us they will never let us go and chained to each other birds. I kissed Blu and Grace kiss Banjo. Blu carried me and Banjo carried me. The brothers took me and Grace to Tulio's aviary to get our wings fixed. After mine and Grace's wing was fixed, the four of us lived in the jungle. Me and Blu had three children and Banjo and Grace gave four children. That's my story." Jewel said.
Aunt Mimi is shocked on the story what Jewel said to her. She was amazed that Jewel had adventures in the city.
"Wow that was a beautiful story between you and Blu. I like Blu so much as your mate. He is so cute." Aunt Mimi said.
"That's the bird I fell in love with." Jewel said.
"You should tell the story to the tribe one day and scarlet maacws one night." Aunt Mimi said.
"I will Aunt Mimi." Jewel said.
Blu arrived at Mimi's hollow.
"Hi Blu, this is girls time." Jewel reminded him.
"I know Eduardo said he needs alone time because he was thinking of his wife Sapphire and he missed her." Blu explained to Jewel.
"Blu, I miss mom too." Jewel said.
"Aww you need a hug." Blu said. He hugged Jewel. Jewel smiled and hugged him back.
"Thank you Blu you know how to make me feel good." Blu said.
"Dad we do makeovers. How do we look?" Bia asked her father.
"You ladies look beautiful." Blu said.
"Awww thank you dad." Bia said.
"You're welcome now I will leave you guys alone." Blu said as he leaves the hollow.
"Blu is lucky to have you." Aunt Mimi said to Jewel.
"I am happy to have him."
That's the end of chapter 14. I decide to put Real In Rio in the chapter because I want the blue macaw tribe to know more about music. What do you think of this story?
