A/n: Hellooo!! I hope y'all enjoy this chapter!

While exploring the swordsmiths' village, Tanjiro had discovered a beautiful orchard of sakura trees. 'It's so peaceful here! Miki would love this!' Then he gets the perfect idea…

Around three hours later, Tanjiro was leading Mikitama towards the orchard, covering her eyes as he carefully guided her. He warned her when it was time to stop walking then smiled as he uncovered her eyes and shifted to be able to see her face. He smiled softly down at her when he saw the awe on her face. "Tanji, this is beautiful..!" *She exclaimed and his smile grew. "I'm so glad you like it, angel!"

Mikitama smiled as Tanjiro led her to sit down on a comfortable picnic blanket under a tree. Nearby was a picnic basket filled with Mikitama's favorite foods (chicken udon, strawberry mochi, miso soup, etc.). The young neko's mouth watered from the smell of fresh chicken udon. A soft chuckle escaped Tanjiro's lips as he took 2 bowls and put an equal amount of udon into each. "Hehe, here you go, sweetheart!" He smiled brightly as he handed the bowl to Mikitama and his smile softened when she removed the mask from her face.

Tanjiro leaned over to kiss her cheek. "You're so pretty, my angel…" He whispered lovingly then moved back into his previous position with a gentle smile. Mikitama blushed as she shyly avoided his gaze and he gently made her look at him. "I wish you could see yourself the way I see you…" Her soft cheeks turned even redder and mumbled a sheepish "I love you…". "I love you too, baby…"

Tanjiro smiled as he pulled back from the flustered neko and they both started eating. Mikitama began to talk about random things that had happened during their stay at the village and Tanjiro gazed at her like a lovesick puppy as he hung on her every word.

The young couple had an amazing time together, ending their date with watching the sunset together. As Tanjiro carried the, now sleeping, starlight hashira on his back, he began to feel a little uneasy. What if things don't stay this peaceful for the rest of their stay in the swordsmith village?

Tanjiro carried Mikitama into their bedroom and gently laid her down then kissed her forehead before noticing the young mist hashira's presence in the room. "Tokito-kun! How are you?" He asked with a smile and Muichiro gave him a deadpan stare. "I'm alright. Let's leave Mikitama-chan alone so she can rest while we talk."

Muichiro doesn't give Tanjiro a chance to respond before walking out. The older boy quickly followed his superior out of the room.

As they sat, talking to each other, Muichiro suddenly looked towards a decoration. A tiny demon with a large welt on its forehead crept from behind it, whimpering and crying. Tanjiro's eyes widened and Muichiro's expression remained relaxed as he attempted to attack the demon.

The tiny demon, however, was quick to escape. The mist hashira turned to look at the wide eyed Tanjiro. "Looks like we've got our work cut out for us while we're here." The younger boy said before leaving the house.

A/n: I'm sorry this chapter kinda sucks, I have really bad writer's block rn so uhmm yeah- and since i'm already bad at fight scenes I'll probably have Miki be sick during the battle since idk how to incorporate her into this arc's battles (Also, Miki and Mui are cousins btw)
