Hello, Xtrema fans. It is my privilege to introduce the brand-new special spinoff of Xtrema.
As you all know, I tend to write specials in the main story when the time came. I have three specials a year; a summer special, a Halloween special, and a Christmas special. But as I find myself writing Xtrema less frequently lately, I have decided that instead of writing the specials in the main story consecutively, I have decided to write them down in a spin-off fanfic focused entirely on them.
To start us off, we will be doing the 2024 Summer Special, where women from our main roster (plus a special guest) will be facing each other in a series of nine different matches. Not only that, but the winners of each match will be nominated for the position of MVP, who will be chosen at the end of the special to win a fabulous prize such as a bonus check and a paid vacation.
Anyway, here are the matches…
*Platinum Mask vs Thunder Mana*
-For our first match, as per all my holiday specials, this will be a normal, standard-rules match. Only pins and submissions are a fair win. Any rules broken will be a disqualification.
*Team Spirit vs the Spike and Dusty Lola*
-As requested by Awesome ax10, this will be a tornado tag-team match where the winners will be the first team to smash the other team's melon with their designated kendo sticks. Team Spirit's opponents, the Spike and Dusty Lola, will be the special's guests from the Japanese wrestling video game, Wrestle Angels.
*Viper Takagi vs Freya*
-This match is a battle of muscle as per the theme of muscle beaches. These mighty women will compete in a standard rules match, but as an extra twist, they will be wearing two 25 pound shoulder straps making their arms heavier. Pinfall and submission victories are the only ones that count.
*Artemis Creed vs Zelda Logan*
-One of the downsides of a hot summer's day: burning hot metal. This match will be a no-holds-barred match inside a cage with the bars superheated at the touch. The win will be decided by KO or submission.
*Willow Powell vs Cleopatra*
-This kind of match is called a sauna match. Two wrestlers will face each other in a sauna that will get steamier over time. After a full minute, the door will be open. Whoever escaped the sauna first or knocks out the other wrestler wins the match.
*Hotrina vs Kaito Marx vs Queen Bee*
-This is a special match called lotion sumo, or more commonly known as oil wrestling, where each wrestler fights in a pit full of oil. As a special twist, this is also a three-way match. Whoever makes one of the others submit first wins.
*The Skunk vs Jun Juli*
-This next match is another fanservice-type of match called a stinkface match. The object of the game will be to apply three stinkfaces to her opponent. Whoever does so first wins.
*Maria Crawford vs Clementine Cirrus*
-This one will be a towel-themed match. In this no-holds-barred match, the winner will be the one who first ties up her opponent with a beach towel.
*Atlantis Force vs the Galaxy Twins*
-As an homage to the original summer special main event, this one will take place on top of a balancing platform with a buoyant center. The goal is to knock both members of each team out of the ring. Last team standing wins. And, as an added bonus, this match will take place in the middle of a very large pool in the middle of a water park. The pool will also be surrounded by every other member of the Xtrema roster who will blast water guns at them.
