I rolled over to see David up and about messing with something in his hands. I smirked. It's only been about a month since I became vampire.
" What are you messing with David?" I asked as I lifted myself with a blanket covering my body. David smirked as he pointed to my chest. I looked down and saw that my iron wolf head was missing.
" I procured a chain for my darling Scarling." He says as I see the new golden chain holding my pendant.
" Oh David, it's beautiful." I say as I move my hair so he can put it on my neck. The chain looked amazing on my pale skin as I stood up and stretched.
" You look good, my bloody rose." He says as he moves a lock of my black and red locks. I moaned as my slow heartbeat skipped.
" David, oh god." I groaned as he sucked upon the bite scar that my neck displayed. He chuckled against it before pulling away as my fangs morphed.
" Looks like you are hungry, my lost girl." David says as I blush.
" You know, David, you would be surprised at how hungry I really am." I groaned as I let my hand travel to his inner thigh. He groaned as he put his forehead against mine.
" You are trouble." He groaned as I pulled away, grabbing a torn-up dark blue tube top, black leather bellbottoms, and my furred jacket.
" When am I not?" I laughed before leaving our section of the cave. I grabbed my knee-high black boots before David came out. I smirked before turning the the Lost Boys. Dwayne and Marko were wrestling about as Paul was lighting up a joint.
" Evening Lost Girl!" Paul called out as his wild locks moved with his bounce.
" Who's hungry!" I yelled as Dwayne and Marko looked my way, the Lost Boys yelling and cheering. We all took off out of the cave and flew out over the cloud cover to stay hidden.
" There!" I yelled as I saw a bonfire. The Boys hollow and yell out as we land. David snags a guy who looks all grimy and greasy.
" Who are you? Why are you doing this? Let me go!" He screamed as David clawed his neck and tossed him to me.
" You smell divine! You smell of sin!" I growled before sinking my fangs in his neck. He tried beating on my skin to no avail as he felt cold against me. I tossed the body and roared out before seeing another body of dirty sin-filled blood running. I pounced before tearing into the hot flesh. Ripping into it like a brutal animal that found a kill. I tossed the body by flicking my head to the side. I snarled as I felt hard hands against me.
"Easy, lost girl. My Scarlet." David's voice brought my calm state back.
" Sorry, I got carried away. I've just felt hunger like no other." I told him as I wiped away any remaining blood from my chin.
" You are ok." He says before licking my chin. I smirked and purred at the small gesture.
" My bloody Scarlet Rose." He said as we walked the corpses back to the roaring flames and tossed them in. The Boys howled and cheered as they wiped away the blood evidence.
" Let's hit the boardwalk!" Marko cried out as I chuckled. We cheered before walking to the lit-up festivities. We walked past the missing poster board. I wasn't surprised by the number of growth. But I grinned as I saw a familiar face.
" Boys head on, David come with me. Let's cause some mischief." I say with a grin. My black lipstick was stained with remants of blood.
" Seems like we have a little hunter fucker trying to run a comic shop." I grinned with my fangs showing slightly before breathing easily. David walked beside me as we walked up the the boy with the bandana.
" What are you doing here bloodsucker!" He growled in a deep voice. I chuckled as I sneered, my eyes flashing gold as they cooled to my dusk blue eyes.
" You know it's because you stabbed me that I had to turn." I say as I hear his heart skipping a beat.
" Do you think my younger brother forgives you for stabbing me in the gut?" I asked as my anger fueled my rage.
" That he can't see his beloved sister without thinking of her as a monster?" I asked as I backed him up against a wall.
" You are an idiot you know! You decided to kill someone innocent." Bandana boy said as I chuckled.
" She doesn't feed on innocent people, runt." David said as he placed a hand on my shoulder.
" What?" He asked as I chuckled.
" Just because I'm a bloodsucker, doesn't mean I feed on innocent people." I told him as my eyes changed.
" Wife beaters, murderers, assaulters, and many more sins a child like you don't need to hear." I told him as I flashed my fangs. I saw him grit his teeth with anger and rage, but I backed off.
" Edgar are you ok?" Another boy called out. I recognized him from the cave.
" It's them Alan!" Edgar said as Alan stopped in his tracks.
" Don't worry, we were just leaving." David said as I stared deeply at the two.
" Be grateful, because if it wasn't for me, you would be dead." I told them before leaving as my hair moved into the wind. I could hear their little hearts pounding loudly in my ears as I chuckled loudly.
" They should learn to stay away from our home. Otherwise, I'll be happy to let my anger out and remember being stabbed in the fucking gut." I growled as I smirked.
" You give me a run for my fangs you know that." David said as we continued to walk down the boardwalk to the end, but I stopped as I saw a familiar face.
" Michael?" I asked as he turned to me and I growled.
" Scarlet?" He asked as I could smell he was slightly taken aback.
" Haven't seen you down on the boardwalk since our last fight." I said as I growled and leaned myself on the rail. David was still beside me as his arms wrapped around my waist.
" Took me some time to cool off." He said as I sighed.
" Mom still doesn't know what happened to you." Michael said as I felt my heart pull. She doesn't know?
" How did you guys kill Max?" I asked as Michael looked up at the sky.
" Grandpa helped us and got a very large fence post to go through his chest. I almost died that day." He said as I smirked.
" Had a feeling he knew more than he let on." I told him as I chuckled.
" Maybe after I feed on the sinners of Santa Carla, I can visit. I don't know." I told him, but I saw the sorrow in his eyes. Seeing Mom and Sam might make things harder than I believe.
" Scarlet, the sun is going to come up in a few hours." David said as I felt my head nod.
" I don't know Scarlet. I just." Michael said as I nodded. I put up my hand as I turned my back to him. Just as a small goodbye for who knows how long.
" Just keep that Star girl away from me. I still hold a hard grudge against her." I say before I start walking away, but felt arms wrap around me. I saw it was my dear brother. I almost wanted to cry.
" Stay alive." He said before letting me go.
" You know I will." I say before looking about to see if anyone will notice. I lift my body from the boardwalk as David takes my hand.
" I'll see you, Michael. Tell Sam, I say hello." I told him before joining my fellow lost boys. We fly quickly back to the cave.
" I know you miss your family, Scarlet." David told me as he led me to our cave hole. I see the other Lost Boys go to their section of the cave.
" I do, but this is my family." I say as David closes off the entrance.
" And I love that you have a heart that holds a lot." He says as I slowly feel him taking my clothes off and laying me down under a soft blanket. He joined me and I curled up next to his arms. His easy breathing calmed my thoughts. His arm wrapped around me and refused to let me go. I smiled and just let my eyes close.
