Chapter 4: Museum Fight
At night, the full moon had shown above the beautiful starry night sky as a Zeppelin cruise ship was making its way to Canterlot. The hatch below opened as the wheels lowered down a bit.
Clinging onto the left wheel was none other than the newly arrival of Chase Young as he had his horn lit and his aura hands replacing his front hooves.
Chase looked at his destination with his eyes narrowed as the wind blew his mane a bit along with the tails of his bandana.
Without hesitation, Chase jumped off the wheel and dived down with his hooves tucked in before he opened his wings, gliding into the air.
As Chase passed by some clouds, he smiled soothingly and scraped his right hoof on one of them, making some dust flow behind him. He stops and continues flying to Canterlot as he dives down into a lake.
Chase swims into a tunnel that leads into the sewers.

In the Elite Ninja's house, Antonio was snoring soundly with a bag of potato chips in his right hoof while Clay and Sokka rekindled on two chairs of their own. Trini and Jade each sat in their own chairs with some comic books on their faces while sleeping. Jade stirred in her sleep before she went back to rest.
Chase was standing there with an amused smile on his face, happy to see his friends and family as he had just arrived from going through the sewers.
Turning his attention away from his team, he looks to see the lights on in Santos' meditation room.
Taking a deep breath, Chase quietly walked over to the doors to see his parents meditating and they sensed his presence.
"Enter." Santos said as Chase did so and walked over to his parents. "Kneel, my son."
Chase sat in a kneeling position as Jewel and Santos opened their eyes to see their son as he bowed his slightly while not looking at them.
"I've returned from my training, Mom and Dad." Chase said with a guilty look, knowing that his family and friends needed him after he was away for so long. "I was so caught up in my own world, I forgot about everypony else. I'm sorry I failed."
Santos gently shushed Chase as his son looked back to him and he opened a box that showed a medal of honor.
"On the contrary, my son…" Santos said as he and Jewel looked at Chase with proud smiles of their son coming back home. "Now you are much stronger."
Jewel and Santos then walked over to Chase as Santos presented him the medal, which his son gladly took. While they were conversing, Sunray arrived just in time to see Chase.
"Your strength is needed here now. You owe us no apology, but perhaps you should talk with Sunray." Santos said with concern.
"Your father's right, Chase. Your absence has been particularly difficult for him. Though, he'll never admit it." Jewel added with a grim expression.
"I'm certain things will be back to normal in no time, Mom and Dad." Chase said assuringly to his parents.
"Good. Because until you can act as one, you are forbidden to fight." Santos said firmly.
"Yes, Dad." Chase said with a bow before he and his parents hugged each other warmly.
"We've missed you, Chase." Jewel said to her son as a few tears left her eyes.
"I've missed you and Dad too, Mom." Chase said with a smile as they broke the hug when Santos sensed another presence.
"Sunray, your brother is home." Santos said as the three turned to the door as Sunray opened it while facing Chase with a dull look.
"Hey." Chase said to his younger brother with a smile.
"Hey." Sunray said casually. "Uh, welcome home."
"Yeah, thanks." Chase said while smiling at his brother.
"Well…" Sunray said as he let out a yawn. "I'm going to bed."
He then walks away as Jade, Trini, Antonio, Clay, and Sokka continued to sleep soundly.
"Hey, Chase is back." Sunray said rudely while slapping the comic book off of Jade's face, making her stir a bit and open her eyes as Trini opened her eyes as well before they turned to him. "Better go say hello before he leaves again."
Jade and Trini looked up to see Chase walking over to them, much to their happiness.
"What? Chase!" Jade said happily as she and Trini hugged Chase.
"Hey, guys." Chase said as he chuckled as Sokka and Clay woke up to see him, much to their surprise and happiness.
"Chase!" Clay said as he and Sokka joined the hug.
"You're back, buddy!" Sokka added as Chase gave him a playful noogie. "Hey, cut it out!"
Chase chuckled as they broke the hug and Antonio woke up.
"Chase?" Antonio said shockingly and fell to the floor. "Oof!" Chase, Clay, Jade, Sokka, and Trini chuckled at that as Antonio immediately got up with a happy smile. "Is that really you?"
"Yeah." Chase said as Antonio hugged his cousin happily.
"I-I'm dreaming, aren't I?" Antonio said with a relieved smile.
"No, Antonio. You're not dreaming." Chase said with an amused smile as Jade and Trini giggled a bit while Antonio sighed in relief.
"Oh, good. I have nightmares about birthday parties." Antonio said with a shudder.
(Scene changes)
On the rooftops of Manehattan, Chase, Jade, Sunray, Trini, Antonio, Clay, and Sokka leaped over a few buildings as the light of the moon shone down on them.
Antonio slides on a clothesline with a excited yell as he front flipped into the air and landed on a stairway enclosure. Chase, Jade, Surnay, Trini, Clay, and Sokka joined him as they landed on the rooftop.
"Man, it's great to have you back, Chase. It's been a year since you went off with your training." Trini said to Chase as her younger cousin turned to her with a smile.
"Yeah. It's good to have you back." Clay said with a smile.
Chase smiled back at them as Sunray jumped on the upper part of the rooftop with a solemn look.
"Okay, Chase. I'll bite. What are we doing up here?" Sunray asked as Chase turned to his brother.
"I told Mom and Dad that I would get this team in shape again." Chase said with a firm look.
"Hey, I've been training." Antonio said with a smile as Jade and Trini were perfecting their katas. "Since you left, my volleyball game scores have doubled."
"Right. And while you've been playing games, Antonio, a new threat will be coming anytime soon. But we're gonna make sure that stop it." Chase said with a determined look.
"Hey, you went AWOL, Chase." Sunray said with a glare he sent Chase as his older brother turned to him. "And the Manehattan police have been the only ones to pick up the slack." He jumps down to join Chase with a bitter look. "Crime never took a break. You did."
"Well, I heard Drago's been sent to jail for his crimes and has been sweeping the hallways." Antonio said with a smirk as he lowered down to Jade and Trini. "Hey, Jade. If any trouble comes back, why not build us some gliders?"
"Yeah, that's good, Antonio." Jade said with an unsure smile. "I don't even trust you to handle my gadgets that much."
"She's right. You could do more damage with that." Clay added with a glare "There's no telling what you might cause to other ponies property."
"Not to mention paying their bills either." Sokka added as well with a stern look as Antonio glared at them annoyingly. Sokka turned to Chase and Sunray. "Have you all seen the way this guy behaves-?"
Suddenly, a loud roar was heard, catching the seven ponies off guard as Antonio yelped in surprise and fell down.
"What the?" Trini said in shock as Antonio stood up quickly.
"Whoa." Antonio said as he and the others rushed over to the ledge, looking at something. "Whoa ho! Somepony's cranky!"
At the National History Museum, a loud roar was heard as an image moved through one of the yellow lights.
"Okay, Jungle Boy." Sunray said to Chase mockingly and jumped on a crane, making his family and friends widened their eyes in surprise. "Grab a vine."
"Sunray, wait!" Chase said with a glare. "Mom and Dad told us not to fight!"
"Jungle Boy. Hehe, good one." Antonio said with a chuckle as he and Sokka joined him, leaving Jade, Trini, and Clay with Chase.
"Chase, maybe we should go after them to make sure they don't get into trouble." Jade said with concern.
"Don't you think we already are?" Trini asked sarcastically as Chase groaned annoyingly before he, Jade, Clay, and Trini jumped down to join their teammates.
"Alright, but remember." Chase said as they jumped on each of the windows. "We're only here for training."
"You know what I always say, 'Train by doing', dude." Antonio said with a smile as they went inside the museum.
"Antonio, when have you ever said that?" Clay asked in disbelief as they jumped down the staircase and walked slowly to see what was going on.
"Whew! You smell that? It's like a monkey cage down here." Sunray said with a wave of his hoof.
Once they made it to the explorer exhibit, they see two Gorilla Lurker soldiers fighting a group of security stallions.
"Whoa!" Sunray said in awe as one of the security stallions went flying in the air while screaming loudly and the rest of his partners were getting pummeled by the monsters.
"Well, the good news is there's a bunch of security guards getting the snot kicked outta them!" Antonio said as one of the Gorilla Lurker soldiers slammed a guard to the ground and swats another to the ceiling as they grunt in pain.
The second Gorilla Lurker soldier swats two security guards away and lets out a loud roar.
"The bad news is these things are gonna run out of bodies soon." Jade said with concern before she and others gasped as they leaned to the sides when a security guard was thrown in their direction away from the fight.
"Yeah, so? You think we should help these guys? I'd rather enjoy the show." Antonio said while watching the fight with a smirk and turned to Chase. "What do you say, fearless leader?"
"We're not-" Chase was about to finish when he was cut off.
"I say we stop talking." Sunray said with a smirk as Chase glared at him.
With a determined yell, Sunray leapt into battle with his horn lit, aura hands replacing his front hooves, and dishing out his sais. Antonio yelled out excitedly as he lit his horn, aura hands replacing his front hooves as well and dishing out his nunchucks with Sokka dishing out his boomerang and machete.
Chase growled in irritation before he, Jade, and Trini lit their horns, aura hands replacing their front hooves as they and Clay joined the battle begrudgingly.
One of the Gorilla Lurker soldiers swat some guards away as they yelped in surprise and roared out loudly just as Sunray came at him with a kick, slightly knocking him back a bit. The monster tries to slam Sunray down, but he jumps out of the way.
"Come here, fuzzy wuzzy!" Antonio said as he jumps on the Gorilla Lurker's arm and then on his head, making him roar out irritatingly as Sokka slammed his boomerang in the monster's chest a bit.
Chase, Jade, Trini, and Clay immediately went over to the guards as they helped them up.
"Master Chase, you have returned!" A security guard said with a relieved look.
"You gotta help us!" One of the other security guards added as well.
"Don't worry, just get to a safe distance. We'll handle these bad boys." Chase said as the security guards nodded before they ran off to get help.
"Little help over here, guys!" Sokka shouted as he, Sunray, and Antonio were outmatched by the two Gorilla Lurker soldiers, due to their huge strength.
Chase, Jade, Trini, and Clay rushed over to help them as Sunray used his fire element to send a powerful flaming kick at the first Gorilla Lurker, making him lose balance and fell down on the ground, making it shatter as he fell down the other floor.
"That was too easy!" Sunray said with a smirk as he jumped over the hole when the first Gorilla soldier jumped right back through another hole, landing in front of the unicorn stallion. "Like I said, too easy!"
The first Gorilla Lurker soldier then swats Sunray away with his right hand. Sunray grunts a bit before he slammed his back against the wall and landed on his hind legs.
"Bad dog." Sunray said with a snarl.
The two ape monsters roared out loudly as Clay, Antonio, and Sokka pushed them back in an attempt to slow them down with all they got. But the second Gorilla Lurker soldier swats them aside as Sokka yelps out while skidding backwards towards an open elevator and slams his boomerang on the middle with a grunt.
"Ah! Look at me. Found the elevator!" Sokka yelled out to the others.
"Take care of these pests. I'm gonna get the Crystal and the scroll." The first Gorilla Lurker said to his partner, who nodded back, as he jumped on the staircase and leapt up to the other floor.
Chase and Clay jumped onto the second Gorilla Lurker's back while grabbing its fur, making it roar out loudly as the two ponies grunted in an attempt to pull it off. Then the monster curls up in a ball and rolls towards Antonio, Jade, Trini, and Sokka, making them grunt in pain as they held onto the Gorilla Lurker.
"Oh, my shoulders!" Antonio yelped as he and the others went down a hole with the ape beast as Sunray jumps down on the other floor. "My spleen!"
Sunray then jumps down the hole as the others grunted in pain with the Lurker soldier roaring out. Sunray grunted and dives down, uses his sais to zipline down a cable as he lands on the ground.
Then the others and the second Gorilla Lurker soldier fell down with debris falling in the center.
"Ah, this place needed a sky light." Sunray quiped with a smirk as the second Gorilla Lurker soldier gets up and roars out loudly as the seven ponies dished out their weapons and held them in a fighting stance.
They slowly backed up to a ledge with the Gorilla Lurker making his way to them as Sunray looked back to see, his eyes widened, that they were almost near a pool of water.
"This is why we need gliders." Antonio said with a scared look.
"Okay, anymore bright ideas?!" Sokka asked as the Gorilla Lurker clamped both his hands on the ceiling.
"How about this?" Antonio asked as he and Sokka turned to each other.
Then they clamped onto each other while hugging as they screamed at the top of their lungs just as the Gorilla Lurker brought the ceiling down on the seven ponies, making them grunt in pain.
"When this is over, I'm totally calling the architect." Jade's voice said with it muffled from being burried under the rubble.
The second Gorilla Lurker soldier snorted before he leapt all the way back up to join the other soldier.
Getting out of the rubble, Chase jumped on his hooves back on the ground.
"Hurry, Chase! There could be something important those fleabags want!" Clay said with concern.
Chase was concerned about his family and friends.
"But what about you guys?" Chase asked with concern.
"Just go! We'll meet you there!" Jade replied back.
Seeing that there was noway of talking them out of it, Chase flew back to the top to stop the two Lurkers.
(Scene changes)
In the crystal section of the museum the first Gorilla Lurker slowly made his way through some gem exhibits before he found one that has the Dark Eco Dragon Crystal.
He slowly walks over to it, removes the glass and tossed it aside as it shatters. The soldier then finds a scroll as he takes it and opens the note. It tells an evocation to reawaken the Demodragons and plunge the world into internal darkness.
That's when the second Gorilla Lurker soldier comes up and joins his comrade.
"Have you found it?" The second soldier asked.
"Just what we came here for." The first Gorilla soldier said as he brings out a bag and places the Demodragon scroll in it when Chase landed behind them.
"Hold it right there, boys!" Chase shouted, getting the two ape monsters' attention. "You're not going anywhere with those!"
Then he flew at the the Gorilla Lurker soldiers when suddenly the first one grabbed the Dark Eco Dragon Crystal as it powers up with a humming sound while it sends sparks out a bit. The first Gorilla Lurker soldier fires a dark blackish purple beam at Chase, right in the chest.
Chase screamed in pain as he felt the Dark Eco surging through him and grunted in pain. The first Gorilla Lurker soldier ceases fire as he raises the crystal up with it charging electricity.
Suddenly, it sends out a powerful shockwave that awakens everypony around the world. The shockwave then reaches the Everfree Forest as well as the animals woke up from the sound.
Back at the museum, Chase grunted in pain as purple electricity surged around him before it stopped.
"Huh, pathetic. We thought we would've expected much from you ponies. But looks like you made our job a whole lot easier." The first Gorilla Lurker soldier said with a smirk as he and his partner jumped down a window, landing on a strange Mine dropper with another Gorilla Lurker operating it.
That's when Jade, Sunray, Trini, Antonio, Clay, and Sokka arrived as they immediately went over to Chase.
"Chase, are you alright?" Jade asked with concern for her brother.
"I'm fine, but that crystal really has some powerful magic." Chase said as he grunted a bit when he and the others witnessed the three Gorilla Lurker soldiers flying away in the Mine dropper.
"What do you guys think they want with that crystal and that scroll?" Clay asked with concern.
"I don't know, but whatever it is, it can't be good." Chase said with concern before he grunted a bit as his medallion sparked off a bit.
"Come on, Chase." Trini said with concern. "Let's get you home. We'll get you patched up."
Chase nodded, but he was also concerned that Santos and Jewel were gonna be mad at him since he knew they trusted him to get the others back in shape and he failed.
(Scene changes)
In the Everfree Forest, a strange vine with large spikes and dark green stripes on it moved from a bush as a loud growl was heard in the background.
Author's note: Hey guys,
Here's chapter four for this story. I hope you will enjoy this one. I tried my best on it with some TMNT references with a different twist to it. I'll be back to publish the next chapter that will tell the history of the Demodragons.
Peace out!
