Amy wakes up early. Probably way too early. Mission: Avoid Blaze is a go. One day, Amy can do that. Allow her to get control of her emotions and allow for anything to blow over. Plus there is no reason for Blaze to come over today. So all Amy has to do is not text or call her and make sure she doesn't do the same. Amy doesn't want to be rude, so she hopes Blaze doesn't do either of those things. She hopes.

Amy gets up early. To her credit her grandma is also up. To her discredit, Amy is extremely annoyed at this development. The last thing she wants to do is have her grandma ask why she is up so early.

"Why are you up so early?" Her grandma asks.

"No reason! Just couldn't sleep!" Amy brushes her grandmothers concerns off

That does seem to be a good enough answer for her grandma, so her grandma tops pushing Amy with questions. Amy then does her normal morning chores. Attempting to get Blaze off her mind. It doesn't work. It keeps popping into her head. Nothing works. So Amy goes back to her room and screams in her pillow. Now, even that doesn't work. So she keeps screaming into her pillow. Her grandma hears her but she correctly assumes this is normal. So she leaves it be.

Day breaks eventually and Amy keeps sitting around, anywhere she can. Mainly to scan everywhere, but largely because she's bored. Maybe that's her fault, but she doesn't care. She is bored. So she waits for this day to be over and done with. Nothing bad should happen today. Everything will be okay.

Until she sees Blaze coming up the driveway. Which makes her panic. She asks her grandma to answer the door, to which the other agrees. Blaze knocks on the door. Amy's grandmother answers it. Amy goes out the window while Blaze is distracted.

"She just left, sorry." Amy's Grandmother relays to Blaze.

"Do you know where?" Blaze asks.

Amy runs as she hears the conversations get farther and farther away as she gets out of the driveway. She has the absolute genius idea to hide in a bush. Hiding herself there so Blaze and nobody else can find her.

"Where could she have gone?" Amy hears Blaze thinking aloud. As Blaze comes out of her driveway.

"I dunno" Marine says shrugging her shoulders

"Well maybe you can tell her tomorrow." Cream suggests.

"Nope! Today! I'm telling her today!"

Tell her what? But before she could even get a chance to ask, Blaze runs away into her town. Cream and Marine start then stop outside Amy's bush. They look at it then shrug and go back to following Blaze.

Amy is relieved that all of them left. She says put for a bit waiting and waiting until the coast is truly clear or maybe she's paralyzed in fear. No matter what, she stays. For a while. A long time. Probably way too long for Amy to wait. But as soon as she gets the feeling of strength. They come back. Blaze looks demotivated while Cream and Marine look pleased. Amy is ready to get out of these bushes. Until she sees Blaze pulling her phone out and almost pressing the call button for her number.

Apparently the two others notice as well as Cream goes to the bush and pushes Amy out. Guess Cream and Marine knew she was in there after all. Blaze notices Amy getting out of the bush just before she presses the call button on her phone.

"Oh hey, Amy! I've been looking for you all day." Blaze helps her get up, Amy seems frozen in shock.

"Amy?" Blaze asks.

Amy proceeds to run away extremely quickly from Blaze, confusing the latter. Blaze runs after her and Marine and Cream follow. They all go back into town. Into a park. Amy knows this park a lot better than Blaze. As she quickly disappears out of sight. Amy looks for a hiding place, choosing a small lake where she can rest. She sits for a while at the place in silence.

"Amy, are you okay?" Amy turns and nearly jumps out of her own skin when she hears her name called, until she notices Cream is the one who said it

"Oh sorry, Cream, You scared me" Amy says to the other. Marine peers over Cream's shoulder to see Amy too. Amy sees her with a small smile and nod, acknowledging the other's presence. Marine looks back, then to Cream, who still has something to ask of her.

"It's fine, can I ask you a question?" Cream asks her, looking down at her.

"…Yes?" Amy hesitantly responds

"Why are you running away from my sister?" Cream asks kindly with a bit of venom in her voice that Amy doesn't like.

"You already know why"

"It'll be better if I hear it come out from your mouth."

"…Fine. I thought that all of this would ruin our friendship. Especially my grandma assuming that she was my girlfriend. I thought she was coming today to confirm my worst fears that she doesn't like me back… happy?"

"Extremely" Marine says, Cream nudges Marine's side with her elbow. Amy gives her a offended look

"Look, just talk to her, okay? It's not as bad as you think it is."

"How can you tell?"

"Call it a hunch." Amy isn't very pleased with that answer but she'll take it

"…Fine."

"Alright, I'll go get her now."

"…What?" But before Amy can finish her sentence, Cream is off with Marine to find Blaze. Amy can only hope for the best. She thinks about everything that can go wrong and everything that has gone wrong. She hates feeling like this. At least she can get it over with now?

Amy curls up in the best ball she can. Staying in silence with nothing reaching her eardrums as she is too lost in though. She doesn't even hear Blaze coming and sitting besides her. Ready to listen to her.
