"Look I'm sorry it's just…"
"It's just what Amy? Your parents neglected you! There's nothing except that!"
"It wasn't their fault! They were still go to me, while they were still alive!"
"They treated you like garbage!"
"THEY DID NOT!"
"Amy…"
Amy slams the door to her room. The couple were simply hanging out. When the topic of parents came up… you can see how that ended. Blaze puts her back against the door. Already trying to get Amy to come out.
"Go away…" Amy says, Blaze can hear her sadness in her voice. She definitely doesn't want that, she wants Amy to be alright. Blaze can't leave her like this.
"I'm not leaving until you're okay." Blaze states.
"…Please go away" Amy begs from the other side of the door
"No." Blaze says flatly.
"I want to be alone"
"I can't do that. You know I can't."
"…"
"Amy, please, talk to me."
"They were not bad"
"They were, I know that's hard to-"
"They were not bad" Amy repeats.
"Why do you say that?" Blaze tries a different approach.
"Because they weren't" Amy doesn't have a comeback to that question
"Amy…" Blaze pleads with her girlfriend. Who doesn't seem to want to budge.
"They Weren't"
"I know it's hard…"
"…but they weren't…" Amy chokes on that last part, probably on her own tears
"Amy? Are you alright?" Blaze is panicking now
"Yeah-yeah! I'm fine!" Blaze calms down when she hears Amy's voice. Amy only manages to spit a few words out.
"Okay, are you sure?"
"…No…"
"Amy…"
"I'm sorry"
"I know it's hard."
"You don't know"
"I know I don't know, but I know you."
"…yeah, I guess you do"
"…"
"…"
"Amy?"
"Yeah?"
"Can I come in?"
"…Give me a second"
Blaze hears Amy get up, turn around and unlock her door and finally open her door. Only took about five seconds but it felt like an eternity. Blaze is still on the ground. Amy begins to cry, a lot. Of course, Blaze hugs her to make sure everything is okay.
"I missed you."
"Blaze, it's only been a minute" Amy says laughing through tears because of Blaze seemingly co-dependence
"I still missed you for all those seconds." Blaze says and keeps hugging Amy.
"…Thank you"
"You're Welcome"
The two continue to embrace. Allow the silence to consume them even if only for a little bit then back to making sure everything is okay between the two are alright.
"I'm sorry"
"Amy, you're fine."
"That was a stupid thing to argue over"
"Yeah it probably was. But making sure your okay is enough to justify it."
"You're so cheesy"
"Yeah I am, but that's why you love me."
Amy laughs while still crying
"I love you way too much"
"Well I love you too."
"You are way too nice to me"
"I don't think so."
"I think so"
"Well once again, you're wrong." Amy leans back and boops Amy on the nose.
"Ha ha, very funny" Amy wipes the tears from her eyes and tries to pretend that she wasn't laughing a few seconds ago
The two stop embracing. Blaze laughing and Amy laughing after a bit of her fake stoicness which wear off quickly.
"I'll go get you a tissue." Blaze says.
"Thank you" Amy says
Blaze goes to another room and gets a box of tissues then goes back to Amy. Who is still wiping tears with her arms. Who is still distressed. Who is still crying, a lot.
"Here you go." Blaze passes Amy the tissue box, Amy graciously takes it and starts blowing her nose and wiping her eyes with the tissues in the box. Making sure everything is all good and clean in her head.
"…Thank you" Amy says, still crying.
Blaze stands around while Amy gets better. She does slowly yet surely. Eventually she's back to normal, she smiles at Blaze.
"Thank you so much" Amy tells her
"You needed it."
"…Yeah"
"I hope you're okay now."
"I'm… better now"
"Good to hear. I can stay for longer if you need me too."
"Yeah, that would be nice"
"Alright, I'll text my Mom."
Blaze and Amy go into Amy's room. They've both been in here before. Together as well. Blaze is texting her Mom saying she'll be home later because Amy needs her. Vanilla agrees and says that she'll see Blaze soon.
"Alright, I texted my M-"
Amy hugs her, cutting her off. Blaze pays her and sucks herself into the cuddle. The two lay there for a while until the evening came. Taking the two into a deep cuddle session.
"Alright…" Blaze says trying to leave the bed, but she can't get up.
"Amy, I need to leave." Amy is holding her down from leaving, Blaze glares at her.
"Noooooo, don't leave" Amy begs with her
"Amy…" Blaze pleads back.
"Please?" Amy gives her puppy eyes
"Fine." They work
Blaze texts her Mom that she's staying for the night. Vanilla agrees and tells her she will see her in the morning. Blaze smiles at the text as she and Amy go back to snuggling and cuddling then they go to sleep until the morning comes to wake them up.
Blaze knows arguments happen. Amy does too. They will argue no matter what. But they can work through it. Get through it. Reach a conclusion and go with it. Not having to argue again. Making sure the other is okay. Making sure they're okay. Making sure that while they can argue, they will never go any farther. They can argue, what couple doesn't? They won't fight each other. They both agree subconsciously with that. So no matter what. They will be fine. They will not say anything they can't take back. They both subconsciously agree to that. They don't want to hurt the other. Emotionally or Physically.
Tomorrow they will wake up. Maybe have a fight, maybe they won't. No matter what. They will be civil with each other. Wanting to make sure the other is okay and nothing can go wrong. Everything will be fine and alright between the two. They won't go to sleep angry. They will work it out until it works out between the two. Until they aren't arguing anymore. Until they're okay with themselves and each other. They drill that into their heads. Making sure everything is alright and okay. In their heads and in their bodies. Blowing it out with tissues and conversation. Trying to understand each other. Trying to make sure the other will be fine after all of this. After all they've been through. Together and seperate. Even if it'll take time for them to admit it to each other.
