Chapter 144 Lincoln and Linka Adventure deep into the Forest!!

We see Lincoln and Linka are both training as Lola and Lisa watches them and as they fly around they kick each other in the ribs as they both send lightning strikes through their legs only to get sent flying

Lisa: How fascinating. My studies should be magnificent with the research I've conducted!

Lola: What research are you conducting Lisa?

Lisa: As of now I'm making suits for Lincoln and Linka so that they can be better fit for whenever it comes to combat.

Linka: That's what you were doing?

Lincoln: We thought you were trying to find a way to beat us in a fight.

Lisa: I could if I chose too. But I have to make sure that people that are not classified as a god or goddess can be better suited in case of emergencies.

Lincoln: Well it better work.

Lisa: Don't worry it will.

Lisa goes inside as Lincoln, Linka and Lola all hear some grunting in the forest behind our house as they get ready for what's to come only for it to be nothing

Linka: What the?

Lola: Nothing?

Lincoln: Something feels wrong. I'm going to check it out. You guys coming with me?

Linka: Sure I guess.

Lola: I mean I would but the forest is icky and-HEY!!

Linka drags Lola with them as they venture deep into the woods and they make their way deep into them only to get lost and a groaning noise keeps annoying Lola

Lola: Why did you drag me here? It's cold, gross, weird and not to mention there's a constant groaning noise.

Linka: Well I dragged you here because you should come with us and for that groaning noise I don't hear anything besides birds chirping.

Lincoln: Birds chirping? Groaning noises? I don't know if I'm on the lucky train or unlucky train because I hear this feminine voice singing lightly.

Linka: And how do you know it's feminine?

Lincoln: When will you hear a normal straight guy with testosterone and big balls-pause-sound like a girl?

Lola: He does have a point.

Linka: But how come we all hear different things then?

They all look around before grouping up and they flare their auras at the same time

Lincoln: Come on guys let's find whatever are causing us to hear these sounds and destroy them.

Linka and Lola: Right!

They walk together with Lincoln in front and after a while they see ice floating around them as Lana lands in front of them

Lola: Lana?

Lana: I found you guys! What are you guys doing in here?

Lola: (points to Lincoln and Linka) They dragged me here!

Lincoln: I didn't drag you here that was Linka!

Linka: Well we heard something and now we all hear different sounds so we're looking for the sources and destroy them and at the same time probably explore this forest.

Lana: Well I normally wouldn't say no to the forest but this one is dangerous to any human that's not properly equipped and trained.

Lincoln: Aren't you a human as well?

Lana: Yes I am but I have this special ability that's only applicable when I enter this forest. Leah gave it to me since I told her about this forest and my first time coming in here.

Linka: You've been in here before?

Lana: Yeah once but I almost died that time so I never came back until I was equipped.

Lincoln: What sound did you hear anyway?

Lana: Sound? I heard nothing before perhaps this is something that only happens when elemental powers tend to become stronger and possibly it becomes unstable.

Lola: Our powers are going to become unstable? How's that possible?

Lana: I don't know but the best thing is to leave, like now.

Lincoln: Sorry Lana but I have to find what's making these sounds.

Lincoln goes deeper into the forest leaving Linka, Lana and Lola alone

Linka: Yeah I'm not trying to die.

They all hear a stomping sound around them as they all look at each other before towards to Lincoln

Lola: Lincoln!

Lincoln: Huh?

Lana: We have to leave!

Linka: Let's get out of here!

Lincoln: Why?

Linka: We heard a stomping noise that was close to us!

Lincoln: Did you say stomping?

As Lincoln looks around it's not long before he hears the same stomping sound that the others heard

Lincoln: We need to get out of here.

As they all start to run vines start growing and then grab them by their feet dangling them upside down

???: Don't go my friends stay here with me and my plants.

Lincoln and Linka strikes lighting against the vines as the vibes drop them before they start running away

Linka: I can see our home!

As they run out into the clearing they see the estate but something seems off

Lola: This is our home?

Lana: Something seems way off!

Lincoln: Guys since when was there some kind of an apocalypse?

They all look to where Lincoln's pointing and see that everything looks apocalyptic

Lola: We never had an apocalypse right?

Linka: That's right. What happened here?

Lana: Maybe we should check around?

They look around only to see buildings falling down and after wandering around they end up finding some kind of orb made of light as Lincoln grabs it and he breaks it and once he does a shard made up of darkness is in the center of it then they started to hear a voice

???: It's been many years since that day has occurred. But no one was supposed to die it was supposed to be a gateway that led to new opportunities and much more discovery. I may not have been able to succeed in that but I kept trying to get it out of my head anyway. But what if that a fate was set? Just like how fate is set in video games like Genshin Impact or other games of a similar nature. What if we have our own set of...how do I say this? "Laws" that bind us together maybe if anyone hears this maybe they could change it but apparently I've been told that everything in my head is messing with my concept of reality...maybe it is but I hope that if it's true this uncontrollable power doesn't mess with the stability of well pretty much everything.

The voice within the shard can not be heard anymore as they seem to look at the shard before looking at each other

Everyone: Who was that?

They look around before they get caught up in a bubble causing them to fly through time as a pair of LeBron's can be seen with a person wearing them before they walk away and they end up back at the estate which is the one in present time

Lincoln: Well that happened.
