Harry wasn't sure how it had happened that he was sitting in the Weasleys back garden surrounded by children. Victoire had decided for her birthday, that sunny day in early July, that she needed to have a tea party. She was upset at first because the only children she knew were her cousins and baby siblings Dominique and Louis. The grown ups had talked in hushed voices and agreed to reach out to their friends and families.
So it came that the Golden Trio and Ginny were sat down entertaining ten children of varying interest. James was mostly bored and wanted to go flying with Luna's boys, but sat down and listened to his cousins with patience. Maybe they could play a short game of Quidditch after cake?
But Victoire was happy with her tea party and the smaller kids seemed to enjoy it as well, looking as grown up as they could imagine, sipping tea from thrift shop tea cups.
