"I still can't believe you're giving my sister a brutish shark for a monster." Weiss huffed.

"I'm rather pleased with the choice, Weiss. Sharks are very efficient creatures. And far from the brutes you're painting them out to be." Winter told her sister.

"It's true, Weiss. Even if our world didn't have Grimm, sharks would still be FAR from the most dangerous creatures in our world. And there's even been reports of sharks saving swimmers, boarders and small boats from the Grimm. Granted, they were most likely trying to make a meal of the Grimm or defending their territory rather than actually saving people, but the point stands." Pyrrha said.

"Yep. I've been swimming in shark infested waters before and never got bit. And that's coming from a girl who got struck by a lightning bolt! That's bad luck!" Nora said. [1]

"And they're freaking awesome! Let's see the episode already!" Yang cheered.

"You don't have to tell me twice." Katana said, starting the episode.

A cartoon opening was shown with a bunch of very muscular humanoid sharks breaking through a wall. The intro song played as the man-sharks were moving through concrete like they were swimming through it, then bursting out like some sharks breach out of the water, then driving around on large motorcycles, all the while having the image of a shark-like monster superimposed over their faces, except for the last scene, which had a large toad-like monster superimposed over it.

"What... Was that?" Glynda asked, unsure of how to react.

"That was the opening from an old cartoon called street sharks." Katana told her.

"Any good?" Jaune asked.

"I don't know. I never saw any of it. My siblings and I were more Ninja Turtles kids." She explained.

"Hello, fellow hunters! Today is for the amphibians... or specifically, since there's only two of the blighters, the frog and the shark." Rage declared, showing the image of a large, somewhat intimidating orange and blue frog creature leaping forward with massive jaws wide open, then s shark with frog-like legs, covered in spikes in a defensive-looking position. "I Admit, this is a 'one of these things is not like the other' situation, but I don't make the rules here, that's how they evolved. And hey, frogs can be intimidating!" Rage insisted as a strange, somewhat off-putting desert shark was shown with intimidating music playing, but it was all ruined when it let out adorable squeaking noises.

"Awwwww!" All of the girls gushed all together, even Cinder, Winter and Glynda, adoring the sight of the tiny amphibian.

"It's so cuuuute!" Ruby said.

"And the noise it makes is even cuter!" Cinder said with hearts in her eyes.

"Second only to King's 'Squeak of Rage'." Katana agreed.

"Very intimidating." Ironwood said sarcastically.

"Yeah. I'm shaking in my boots over here!" Qrow chuckled.

Rage laughed at this. "Aww! I wanna pop it!" He declared giddily as a squishing noise was heard.

"Don't you DARE!" Weiss shouted at the screen.

"I will do everything in my power to cross between dimensions and throttle that man if he brings any harm to that tiny, innocent, adorable creature!" Glynda declared, her crop glowing with energy, which extended beyond it to almost look like a purple lightsaber.

"Be sure to save some for me." Neo added dangerously.

"But, sharks- you know, sharks! They're always terrifying as hell!" He declared again, before a clip of divers petting a tiger shark, which was edited to look like it was blushing and had more expressive eyes to make it seem like it was smiling at the attention as adorable music played.

"Oh, that's awesome! I want to do that!" Yang said excitedly.

"I've actually done that before once with my family on a paid vacation. My Pumpkin Pete sponsorship did certainly have its benefits." Pyrrha declared.

"So cool!" Jaune said.

"You're taking us next time!" Nora declared, to which Pyrrha nodded.

"This just goes to shows, students. Some creatures must be given a chance. They may surprise you." Ozpin said.

"Let's bite into this, then and begin with Zamtrios. Who is known as the Monster Shark!" Rage declared as Aylia was shown fighting what looked like two smaller versions of the creature show in a picture before.

Suddenly, a clip from a very strangely animated show was played, apparently in the halls of an elementary school, based on all the small children around, a poster of Zamtrios on the wall. "No shit, Sherlock!" A fat boy in a red coat and sky blue hat with a yellow pom-pom on the top snapped, apparently glaring at the poster.

"Strange animation technique." Ren noted.

"Such vulgar language for a child!" Weiss said, horrified.

"That's South Park. It's famous for being incredibly controversial and pushing all the boundaries TV possibly can." Katana explained.

"Is it still good?" Penny asked.

"Well, it has 23 seasons and the majority of people agree its still good or relevant compared to other long-running shows, so it must be doing something right." The ice demon said.

"Still, the kid's got a point. Can't get much more straightforward than that." Qrow admitted.

"Yeah, it doesn't leave much to the imagination, I'll grant you, but it is accurate! On the surface, at least, superficially, he is just a fuck-off shark. From the classic maw lined with serrated teeth that shred flesh by simply brushing against it, to that symbol of terror," Rage described the creature, Aylia observing the full-sized monster from a safe distance as it wandered around on a frozen lake area. A bit of the classic JAWS theme played for a moment as Rage pointed out the symbol of terror that was the fin on Zamtrios' back, which was zoomed in on for that second. "adorning his back as it screams towards you, cutting through ice, well... as if it were water once more." He declared.

"Amazing. Its fin is powerful enough to cut through that thick ice. Imagine what it could do to the Grimm." Winter noted.

"And I doubt even a Deathstalker's armor could survive those jaws." Ironwood added.

"They are the perfect predator for a reason." Glynda admitted.

"Make no mistake, Zamtrios is a powerful predator. But, to understand him, well... Let's return to his childhood. The Zamtrios hatch from a cluster of eggs encased in ice, left there by a mother long since departed and one whom has no intentions of ever returning. An action as cold as the environment they inhabit, but one born out of necessity, as an adult Zamtrios has a hard time resisting the little morsels of meat that are currently pulling themselves out into the world for the first time." Rage explained as the Zamtrios, which leapt into the air and spun, coming down like a drill on the ice and burrowing into it, swimming in the water just below the surface and swam away.

"Whoa! It's a living drill!" Ruby said excitedly, looking to the older Schnee. Winter, you should make a drill to put on its snout. It could probably go through any Grimm like that.

"Interesting idea, Ruby." Winter admitted.

"Well done, little Rose." Cinder said, tickling Ruby a bit.

"That is assuming the Zamtrios would allow her to. You must remember, we'll have to consider how these creatures feel about fighting alongside us and how they will do so as well." Ozpin reminded them.

Yang, however, seemed to be upset. "Ugh! Come on! Do all monsters just abandon their babies? Are they all bad parents?!" She snapped.

They're still reptile-like creatures, Yang. Many reptiles are known to be rather poor parents, except CCrocodiles and alligators." Ren informed her.

"Keep watching, Yang. You'll be pleasantly surprised." Katana assured her.

"Once breathing the air, the adorable little shark-y things only really care about two things in this life and, well... they are eating and sleeping. So, essentially every day is Sunday for them. And, well... they're kind of tiny, which poses a problem because there's already sparse life when it comes to these frozen seaways and nearly all of them have nothing to fear from such a tiny little aggressor. So, to avoid... you know, starving to death, the Zamites have a little trick. They're capable of latching onto a larger creature and very much leech-like sucking it dry of blood." Rage explained as a Zamite slid across the ice towards Aylia, before leaping at her and chomping down on her mid-section as she ran around in panic.

"Aaah! Oh, dear Neptune! Get it off of me! Get off of me! Help me!" A voice cried out as Aylia ran around and rolled a few times, eventually getting herself free from the tiny terror.

Everyone shivered at this. "That's gotta hurt. It may be tiny, but it's still a shark." Neo said.

"And having massive amounts of blood to allow it to swell that much can't be good for you, either." Yang agreed.

"Is that what Aylia actually sounds like?" Blake said, a bit off-put.

"No, that was a sound clip from another kid's show, called Spongebob. Aylia herself doesn't talk during these, she's just there to hunt the monsters and get footage for Rage." Katana explained.

"I hope she gets paid VERY well for having to be bitten and leeched off by a shark like that." Glynda said.

"Hey, she's lucky. Some accounts tell of Zamites biting a whole into prey and entering their body, eating them from the inside out." Katana said, everyone looking horrified.

"Allowing it to essentially circumvent the need to hunt and kill prey at a young age and replacing it with a simple task of getting within striking distance of a docile herbivore. So once teeth are sunk into flesh and locked into place, it gorges, guzzles, as the blood fills its very being, stomach expanding to grotesque sizes in a cute little bit of foreshadowing. Once blood stores are at-" Rage explained, before it cut away to a MASSIVE muscular man was shown.

"MAXIMUM!" He declared, golden energy surrounding him.

"Who's that hunk?" Coco asked, licking her lips.

"I don't know, Coco. I'm getting a bad vibe off this guy." Velvet said.

"That's Broly. The legendary Super Saiyan from the same world as Goku. And Velvet, your instincts serve you well. He's an uncontrollable monster who destroyed an entire galaxy." Katana said, horrifying everyone.

Even Ozpin was shocked at this. "Unreal... Perhaps even the Gods may meet their match against such a foe." He said.

"Let's get back to the shark, shall we." Weiss said, deciding a shark-frog was far less terrifying than a man wiping out an entire galaxy.

"Then it will happily flop away from the victim and begin an explosive display of growth, unrivaled by anything in the natural world." Rage explained as the Zamite did indeed get some distance from Aylia, before the camera zoomed in on it. "Zamite!" Rage called out in a high voice, acting as the tiny creature. However, it wouldn't be tiny for long, as in mere seconds, accompanied by small flashes of light and pulsing of the screen, along with the evolution music from Pokemon, the tiny Zamite doubled in size, then doubled once again, now twice the size of Aylia and a fourth the size of a full-grown adult Zamtrios. "Zamtrios!" Rage declared in a much deeper voice, again acting as the larger beast.

Ruby gasped at this, recognizing the theme and, in general, what Rage was mimicking. "Oh, my Oum! You guys have Pinchermon, too!? That's my favorite game!" she said excitedly.

"We call it Pokemon, but yeah, I love it! I wanna get the next game so bad, but we don't have the right system!" Katana explained.

"It's the only game we can get Weiss and Blake to play." Yang said, the two mentioned girls blushing. Winter even blushed a bit, as on her downtime, she liked to stay in her barracks and play Pinchermon: Midday or Midnight. [2]

"With the flip of a switch, surge to adolescence: the horn crest more prominent, size more intimidating, better able to both hunt and defend itself as it slowly now marches towards being a fully fledged Zamtrios. And as it does, various natural weapons engage that it never knew it had." Rage explained.

"So, this takes us back, then, to Zamtrios himself. Able to perform quite the bag of tricks. Not least of which is his powerful back legs, allowing him to jump skyward, before crashing down into either hunter or the ice itself, drilling into it in a corkscrew motion, before entering the icy waves beneath, of which it likes to spend a lot of its time, waiting to sense the tiny movements and vibrations of potential prey." Rage explained. "Make no mistake, much like the polar bear, if you spot a Zamtrios, then you are likely already dead. It has been tracking you for a while now and it will not give up. Stubbornness and need to feed, the thrill of the hunt, all contribute to a relentless pursuit. An exhausting, harrowing chase across the endless sheets of ice. You will tire long before the Zamtrios does. Almost spiteful in its pursuit of prey, disregarding easier morsels happening right by, lest it suffer the indignity of an intended meal giving it the slip. The bloodlust of a Zamtrios is legendary." Rage declared, an ominous echo accompanying his voice as he spoke.

Everyone shivered a bit at this haunting description, but a few of them soon became impressed. "Incredible. Such determination. And being able to track down packs of Grimm that stray too close to Mantle could be incredibly useful." Winter noted.

"Why is that?" Yang asked.

"Because, kiddo. If they attacked Mantle and either broke the wall or found a breach in it, they could retreat and come back with a new force that knows how to get in and that can be a very dangerous situation for Mantle citizens." Qrow informed her. "And last I heard, Mantle has a giant hole in its wall." Qrow said, glaring at Ironwood.

"We're working on getting it patched up." Ironwood defended.

"Once forced into a battle against more equal opposition, well they have a variety of methods. From using sheer bulk to smash and charge and chomp, to more tricks-y approach, burrowing under the ice and coming careening upwards underneath in a lightning-quick surprise attack, all the way to jets of ice, cutting opponents to ribbons with sharpened hail." Rage explained as Aylia evaded the Zamtrios while it used many of the aforementioned attacks. "However, it is not until you push one too far that it unleashes its most impressive arsenal. Able to propel at great pace, a liquid from pores in between it's layers of skin- yes, Zamtrios has layers of skin." Rage began explaining, before deciding to stress that point.

"Whoa, it has an ice beam, too?! This thing is getting more awesome by the second!" Nora said.

"I admit, I almost want one myself." Pyrrha agreed.

"I'm sure yours will be even better, Pyrrha." Jaune assured her.

A clip from another movie was then shown. "Layers!" A large green man declared, with Zamtrios' head superimposed over his, holding an onion out to a donkey. (Everyone raised an eyebrow at this, but decided not to say anything.)

"Allowing it to simply shed away patches of damaged coat for a new, freshly minted, flexible, shock absorbent, rubbery layer, providing great protection and insulation. This liquid propelled, then, is concocted to be exceptionally susceptible to freezing in only the mildest of colds. So in the sub-zero temperatures the Zamtrios calls home, it freezes nigh instantly, coating and clinging to the skin of Zamtrios, giving it this air of a suit of armor forged in cold." Rage declared.

The Zamtrios was then shown in slow motion as it let out a powerful roar. "Armor up!" A female voice declared as mist was released from the Zamtrios' body, quickly freezing and, indeed, coating it in an impressive sheet of ice armor.

"Incredible! It's like it never runs out of tricks!" Penny said excitedly.

"Although sadly, this likely eliminates your plan for a drill on its snout, Ruby." Ren told her.

"I think the ice spike is better, though." Velvet admitted, snapping a picture.

"That shark is one COOL customer." Yang said with a smirk, everyone booing.

"The spike it once had in its youth now back in full force, albeit temporarily, providing both a defensive and offensive boon, the Zamtrios now renews its assault, adrenaline pumping, faster and more aggressive than ever. This is where, as they say, shit gets real. But should you push through this challenge, you will be met with a Zamtrios' desperation, hail Mary card. And that is to release high-pressured gas, produced and stored in internal organs at great volumes, expanding the beast to many, many times its original size." Rage explained as the Zamtrios' attacks were indeed more fearsome, but were not enough to dissuade or force back Aylia, so it began to shake and, with the sound of someone breathing air into a balloon, it expanded to an absolutely titanic size compared to what it once was, now a massive sphere instead of a streamlined shark.

"Pffft hahahaha, it's like a water balloon with legs!" Ruby laughed hysterically, kicking her legs in elation.

"It's ruined! The most incredible killing machine ever is now just an over-sized beach ball!" Cinder cried out in horror.

"So, Winter, what do you think of your perfect predator now?" Ironwood asked. He didn't want to tease his subordinate, but he had to admit, the vast change from its intimidating and deadly efficient previous state to a giant ball was rather humorous.

Winter blushed at this, but took a deep breath and answered. "Well, it may seem someone unorthodox, but if it truly believes that this form is the best way to survive its situation, it surely must now how to use it to its advantage. And hopefully, when I'm fighting alongside it, it will never feel desperate enough to do so." She explained.

Ironwood smiled and nodded at this. "Very good answer." He said.

"It's legs now comically small against this ball of flesh. A Zamtrios will only ever do this when it feels truly in danger, for it comes with many drawbacks. The loss of maneuverability is evident, but the skin now exceptionally thin-" Rage explained, before the Zamtrios began rolling towards Aylia like a boulder as she actually did abandon her assault and flee from the rolling beast. As she did, strange black bars appear at the top and bottom of the screen, the word sins in the top left corner with a counter, currently at zero, before changing to one with a ding, as the words "Prometheus school of running away from things" was shown.

Everyone looked at Katana. "It's a reference to an internet show CinemaSins. Where they point out all the flaws in a movie and tick a sin for each one... Even though some of them are the guy's personal bias and not a real problem with the movie. But, in this case, it's a running gag when characters are running from a non-living object chasing them, like a falling spaceship, a tower being thrown at them, a giant boulder, etc. and the characters run in a straight line instead of running to the left or right, just getting out of the way, rather than trying to outrun it, he sins the movie/characters for 'going to the Prometheus school of running away from things', because Prometheus started the trend.

"That's not fair. It's actually very hard to think straight when something is chasing you and will crush or generally kill you if you stop." Pyrrha defended.

"Not to mention, if you just run to the side, you may not have enough time to get away, especially if what you're running from is right behind you. Any less than 10 feet would probably be a death sentence. Even running diagonally might still not give you enough distance before you're crushed." Blake said.

"THANK YOU!" Katana said.

"Easy to piece and essentially inviting him to be burst like a balloon. Though, it does grant him immense crushing power. Using his body like a fleshy spring, achieving flight for the briefest moment, before tumbling down and cleaving rocks in twain under his immense bulk." Rage explained while Aylia avoided the massive beach ball of a shark as it bounded around, a Deviljho appearing and attempting to attack, but was dissuaded by Zamtrios' immense size, while also giving a good scale for how massive Zamtrios was in this form.

"Deviljho for Scale? That'd be nice, if we knew how tall a Deviljho was." Ren explained.

"6.5 meters. Why does everyone have to use the metric system?!" Katana complained, using google to convert it. "21 feet tall. And 62 feet long." She corrected, leaving everyone shocked.

"Why haven't we heard about this thing yet?! It sounds like a big deal!" Nora said.

"I was thinking of showing it earlier and have been meaning to show it, but you guys have been impatient to get your own monsters, so now I'm trying to focus on the monster's you'll be getting. And spoiler, he's not one of them. Even if he was, you guys just walking around with that thing would probably scare people bad enough to cause the fall of Beacon without Cinder's plan going off." Katana explained.

"Former plan. My new one is to keep the relics and Maiden powers as far from that witch as possible." The former apprentice of Salem countered.

"He will roll around, attempting to indiscriminately crush any and all things near, spouting balls of ice in a hope to catch whatever has caused him this disarray in its frozen embrace. And lastly able, if the opportunity arises, to scoop up in its jaws and swallow whole, a hunter, where they will be subjected to one of the most scarring experiences possible. Jostled around in the dark, crushed and burnt as acid eats away at you. You have mere moments to force the shark to regurgitate you before your life is robbed." Rage explained as, much like the other times, the Zamtrios used all of the attacks he described, except thankfully for the attempt to eat Aylia, who managed to dodge the attacks that were used.

"No... Never like that..." Neo said, especially afraid of being eaten alive after learning it was Roman's fate.

Yang hugged Neo. "Don't worry about it, short stack! If anything does swallow you, you'd better believe it's getting the Heimlich REALLY quick." Yang said, activating Ember Celica to go over her hands.

"My hero..." Neo said, leaning against her.

"Schnee, I hope you don't ever plan on threatening to feed the recruits to your Zamtrios." Ironwood warned her.

"No, sir! Never!" She complied.

"Eventually tiring, then, it will deflate, the air released through its gills and normality is restored and thus, the cycle repeats. And the fun thing is, right, he is frog-like, the amphibian class. Well, normal, non-monster frogs often do sound like they're deflating." Rage pointed out as a clip of an actual frog, indeed letting out air and sounding like it was deflating was shown."Seriously, I think frogs and toads are fucking wonderful. Lastly, then, it should be said that there is a subspecies: the tiger stripe Zamtrios, who, quite paradoxically, dwells in the desert." Rage introduced the subspecies, a strikingly orange and blue Zamtrios.

"Ooh, I like the colors on this one." Coco said.

"Oh, the frog was so cute!" Ruby said.

"Ruby your standards for cute leave MUCH To be desired." Weiss told her.

Blake tried to pounce at the screen when the frog was on it, but it then switched back to the Zamtrios. "Mew!" She shrieked, doing a 180 and leaping behind Penny.

"Once again, look before you leap, Miss Belladonna." Glynda warned her, but couldn't hide her smirk.

"No longer required to keep its skin perpetually moistened, it has turned to sandpaper-esque quality, causing you to bleed profusely at just a little graze. Past that, this Zamtrios is all about THE BELLY! As it spends much more time inflated and has a much greater skill at using the form, much more acrobatic and just all around more powerful, at the cost of the ice armor stage. Though, there's not much more to say about Zamtrios. Oh! Actually, except but one thing: there favorite food... is frogs." Rage finished the information on the shark beast.

"More time in Ball mode?! I like this one better!" Velvet declared excitedly.

"I most certainly do not." Winter scoffed.

"Come now, Winter. It's one of Zamtrios' natural abilities. What right do you or any of us have to look down on it?" Ozpin questioned, to which she scoffed again, but said nothing.

However, almost instantly after he said this, the frog creature pictured earlier in the episode was shown. "WHAT?!" A voice demanded in place of the frog as it turned to face a new huntress. "Which, I think is the perfect time to move on to the glorious Tetsucabra~" Rage said, saying the name almost romantically as the frog beast was shown breathing a rather nasty yellow breath at the huntress.

Everyone jumped at the sudden transition, mostly because of the shout, but were both intimidated and mystified by the beast before them. "That... is one... big... frog..." Cinder said, a little intimidated.

"You okay, Cinder?" Ruby asked.

"Yes, just... a bad experience. Salem was developing a new type of giant frog Grimm to eat hunters in one bite. I let my guard down once walking past it and was almost eaten." She explained.

"And that thing totally looks like it can eat someone in one bite." Nora noted.

"Who is the demon frog, though shares a lot more common with toads, but further, though, all toads are frogs, but not vise-versa. He, then, the crimson red and the huge tusks forming his lower face-" Rage explained, the sound of a record as he ranted on his word choice.

"Lower face? Really?" Weiss questioned, face-palming.

"These creatures are clearly very jaw-centric, of course you'd use the word too much. Yet that's still better than describing them as the lower face." Glynda said.

"He really should make a script before doing these videos. I believe that's where your brother struggled with his video as well." Ozpin pointed out.

"He, don't worry, he plans on using a script next time." Katana assured them.

"Well, at least it adds some good comedy." Yang reasoned.

"Yeah. Hearing him complain about his own video is hilarious." Neo laughed, snuggling up to Yang and taking a handful of the blonde's popcorn.

"Tetsucabra~, then, is very much, traditionally, your hoppy frog. He uses his bounds and leaps to great effect, constantly coming at you with unceasing, seemingly, stamina. Leaping to and fro and bulldozing past anything that might get in his way. Spending his days hidden just below the surfaces of ponds, waiting for hapless prey to wander on by. At which point, they spring!" Rage declared, a clip of a small frog being shown, before a much larger frog lunged at and plowed into it, likely consuming it afterward. "And thus, the fight is already decided." He said.

"Poor little frog..." Pyrrha said sympathetically.

"A classic ambush technique. Simple, but effective." Penny noted.

"I might have used that myself a few times. They are pretty useful." Blake admitted.

"Yeah, but I bet any of us here could dodge that thing all day." Coco said.

"Perhaps at first glance, but there must be more to it." Ironwood reminded the students.

"It cannot be denied the tusks of a Tetsucabra~ are its most striking feature. Savage-looking, sharpened to a point and able to penetrate rock. Yet their purpose is not to be used aggressively. They are intimidating factor, they're used to burrow through solid rock, they are used to move boulders aside in the damp caves that Tetsu likes to sleep in. They are used, in fact, to lift great stones out the Earth to block off a would-be assailant and indeed acquire smaller ones to crush into a shower of rock, tumbling down on a smaller enemy. The Tetsu is nothing but industrious, an absolute master mason and he takes great pride in his work and even greater in the tools themselves. For the male with the largest and most impressive natural chisels is the one that will win the female. Once the female has been enraptured and appeared before the male, well then it's time for one hell of a display." Rage explained as the Tetsucabra, as per usual, demonstrated most, if not all the attacks Rage had mentioned as Aylia dodged the attacks and fought back as best she could.

The Defenders of Innocence (Cinder, Winter, Glynda and Yang) prepared to cover the eyes of their innocent (Ruby, Weiss, Penny and Neo, respectively), but Katana assured them it wouldn't be necessary. "Incredible. Such massive jaws used for construction rather than combat. I never would have thought that was their main use." Ren said, surprised.

"Many species of frogs and toads are well-known burrowers and often dig similar tunnel systems, or even paths to larger ponds in the event their tadpoles are threatened by their small body of water rapidly evaporating." Penny noted.

"It just goes to show you, young Lie, many animals in nature have appendages appearing to have one use, but in reality have a myriad of uses far different from what you believed their original purpose to be. You must expand your way of thinking to understand these creatures." Ozpin said.

"Dang, Oz. You made that sound right out of a documentary." Qrow praised, impressed.

"I may have done a few nature documentaries in another life." Ozpin explained.

"The Tetsucabra~ will go about carving out great gouges of Earth, creating deep, chasm-y holes as fast as possible, thus proving he not only possesses the tools for the job, but knows how to use them. If a female is suitably impressed thereon, she will deposit her eggs within and then kind of fuck off. The male will fertilize them and then, get this, will hold them in his jaw- not leave them in the ground, no- he will pick them up in his jaw, leave the eggs IN HIS JAW until they hatch, refusing to eat until that day." Rage explained with great emphasis towards the end, starting to get emotional. "That is dedication right there! That is a loving father! Okay?! He is so strong to look after, like, 50 children! When their mother left before they were even technically conceived!" He declared, as if on the verge of tears.

"Well, Yang? You wanted a good parent monster. There he is." Katana said.

"Yeah. Papa frog earned big points right now." Yang said, wiping away a tear and giving him a thumbs up.

"If only all dads could be that caring." Neo said, hugging Yang now, also shedding some tears.

"Aww, he looks big and scary, but he's really sweet, like Yatsu!" Velvet said happily.

"But this does mean that if you get REALLY unlucky with the timing, that you can hit a Tetsucabra in the face and a swarm of baby Tetsucabras~ will come spilling out like an avalanche and smothering you." He declared.

A clip of an elderly woman in a chair was then shown. "Oh, no! No!" She cried out, quickly getting out of the chair and leaving the room.

"Oh, gods... I might be sick." Jaune groaned.

"When exactly is their mating season?" Weiss asked, hoping to learn to avoid this event.

"I'm not sure. I never looked into that." Katana explained.

"I would just eliminate hits to the face altogether." Winter stated.

"Or attacking the face from a distance. Surely these hunters have some ranged weaponry, correct?" Ironwood asked.

"Correct, their ranged weaponry consists of the bow and arrow, light bowguns or heavy bowguns." Katana explained.

"You... You let that image sink in for just a moment there!" Rage laughed. "A Tetsu, then, is very strong, able to lift four times its own weight in just its mouth. And being one to never skip leg day, is able to still leap high in the air while still burdened with this load, crashing down with one hell of a concussive force. It can also use the boulders it picks up as straight up shields, allowing it to deflect against much more powerful predators, such as even the Kushala Daora." He declared. "Though, that said, most large monsters with which it shares its environment are more than capable of seeing it as prey, from the Glavenus to the Zinogre, it has to be wary, but fortunately, its quite the clever cookie, again a symptom of it being able to construct elaborate mazes of rock that it calls home, allowing it to have layers of defense when it is at its most defenseless." Rage declared as the Tetsu was indeed leaping with a massive boulder in its mouth while attempting to outmaneuver Aylia.

"Smart, so it can lead its predator into a trap, or simply escape while said predator goes down the wrong tunnel. It's always important to have a back-up plan. And a defense that matches or exceeds your offense." Pyrrha noted.

"He's mentioned that Kusha Dora thing a lot. Is it important?" Nora asked.

"Kushala Daora. And yes, it's an Elder Dragon, so being able to even defend against it is quite the feat. Although, Rage may be hyping Tetsu up here. I don't think a rock can stop Kushala." Katana told him.

"Perhaps we should have made the path to the Fall Maiden more of a maze." Glynda suggested.

"A shame we didn't think of it at the time. Although, if we had to hurry to her, a maze would be an unnecessary hindrance, even if we knew the way." Ozpin pondered.

"Finally, then, it can both produce and spit globs of what is best described as adhesive, a potent mixture that, while not capable of fully immobilizing targets, certainly is a huge hindrance, creeping into the joints of armor and making movement ever so difficult. The Tetsucabra~, then does come in a few extra flavors." Rage finished his explanation of the normal Tetsu as it retreated from the cave it was fighting Aylia in. A different Tetsucabra was then shown, this one mostly green with an orange jaw. "The Berserk Tetsucabra! Which is a Tetsucabra that lives in much warmer climes. More volcanic to be precise and instead of your regular, run-of-the-mill rock, he is more into the explosive variety." Rage explained as the Tetsucabra flipped a rock while fighting a large group of hunters.

"Ugh! sticky mucus and spit! Gross!" Weiss said in disgust, trying not to vomit.

"A giant frog with exploding rocks. I never thought I'd say something so crazy and so intimidating." Blake said.

"Yeah! Explosions!" Ruby and Nora cheered.

"What if I could make my glass weapons explode?" Cinder pondered.

"Which is why he kind of looks like that cliche mad scientist that experiments gone wrong: it's exploded and they've got soot in their face and their hair's all frizzed up. Essentially, that's what's happening with the Tetsu, but with ash and the scorching burns, from essentially repeatedly detonating explosive charges in his gob." Rage explained, a close-up image of the beast being shown, indeed making it look like a scientist who just blew something up in his face.

"Hey, yeah. He does kind of look like that." Ruby noted

"Or your father whenever he was mixing Dust in Dust class. I swear, you couldn't even blame my Semblance. Any time you let that man mess with Dust, an explosion is guaranteed." Qrow laughed.

"It must run in the family, then." Weiss said, glaring at Ruby, referring to their first meeting.

"That was your fault and you know it!" Ruby snapped.

"After that, it's very similar, but it is a nice change to him and I do prefer it to the Deviant, the Drilltusk Tetsu, which is kind of Tetsu, but REALLY good at using his tusks!" Rage explained as a much larger, grittier-looking Tetsu was shown with a larger rock in its mouth, with one tusk significantly larger than the other one. As he explained this, the sound of crickets chirping could be heard. "He's a little bit lame. I mean, one tusk is overdeveloped and he can use that to great effect, but... He is just kind of lame, especially for an all around cool monster like him. But that has been your lesson on Deviants for today." Rage finished.

Everyone deadpanned at this. "Lame." Yang said.

"Indeed. Quite disappointing compared to the regular version." Winter admitted.

"I feel like one tusk being bigger would be more of a hindrance than anything. It would make their carving through the earn awkward and uneven." Penny pointed out as well.

"That's pretty neat. And normally I don't even like toads like that thing." Neo said.

"Indeed. It just goes to show you how impressive these creatures can be if you give them a chance." Glynda added.

"Indeed. But I would still call Zamtrios the superior monster and eagerly looking forward to receiving mine." Winter declared.

"Yeah! That shark was totally JAWSOME!" Yang cheered.

"So, what's next? Ruby asked.

"Well, one of my friends suggested we up the creep factor a little, so next we're gonna see some creepy cave creatures. So prepare yourself." Katana said with an evil grin.

"I'm sure we can handle it." Cinder said.

"Brave words, Cinder. I hope they don't come back to haunt you." Coco taunted.

A/N: Thank you all for reading! I hope you all enjoyed this! So, like I said earlier in the story, to get to RWBY and co getting their monsters quicker I'll try to focus mostly on their monsters, but I will do a few fan favorites in between.

[1] This is a cheeky little nod to an actual fact: you are more likely to get struck by lightning than to be bitten by a shark. It just happened to fit in here because Nora was actually struck by lightning.

[2] That's their version of Sun and Moon, my personal favorite gen. What do you guys think Winter's team would be? I'm thinking Primarina, Alolan Sandslash and Ninetails, Froslass, Solgaleo and Skarmory.
