A/N: Thanks as always to qazse for help with reactions!

"So, this is going to be a scary monster?" Ruby asked fearfully.

"Likely even more fearsome than Deviljho." Katana confirmed.

"How could something be more terrifying than that?" Emerald asked.

"I've learned to hold my tongue with questions like that, Emerald. You usually wind up eating your words later." Pyrrha told her.

"Well, let's get it over with. The sooner we do, the sooner we can see Velvet's monster, which will probably be as adorable as her." Coco said, the bunny girl blushing a bit.

"Coco..." She said.

"Sir... I have a bad feeling about this one." Winter said.

"So do I, Schnee. So do I." Ironwood assured his second-in-command.

A mountainside was shown at night with a strange black fog seeping over the ledge of a cliff as a hunter in black and purple armor was walking along before taking notice. "Gore Magala... The name whispered to strike fear into children. Gore Magala... A walking extinction event. Gore Magala... Pray you never meet..." Rage spoke in an eerie whisper as the hunter noticed the fog was thicker on a cliff above him and a dark figure could be seen within it.

Everyone felt a chill run down their spine at this intro, with Ruby putting her hood over her eyes, Neo ready to open her umbrella and Velvet shielding herself with a cushion, in case of a jumpscare. "I already don't like this." Neo said.

"It's okay, Neo. I'm here for you." Yang told her, pulling her close.

"Same for you, Ruby. I'm sure it's not as bad as it seemed." Cinder assured, sitting Ruby on her lap.

"Don't worry, my little bun-bun. Whatever kind of big bad monster Gore Magala is, it has to go through me first if it wants you." Coco assured Velvet.

"That scares me even more. That it might go through you." Velvet told her.

"Let's just see what this monster is all about, children. We may be making a big deal over nothing." Ozpin ensured the children, although he wasn't too sure himself.

"But fear not, though, hunters! For I can defeat anything as long as it doesn't have horns!" Rage declared proudly... before the creature let out a roar, the fog clearing enough to give a decent view of its body. Including the horns atop its head. "AH, FU-" Rage started to curse, before the color bars with a long beep censored him.

Despite the creepy opening, this managed to lighten the mood and get some chuckles out of the group. "My hero." Weiss said sarcastically.

"Still, if horns are his only weakness, he would prove quite useful against most Grimm." Winter noted.

"Perhaps he could use some of my instructions on how to deal with such enemies." Glynda pondered.

"If anyone could whip him into shape, it's you, Ms. Goodwitch." Blake said.

Another hunter was seen running out of a forest, away from a Tigrex. "Yes, they're not technically horns, but for the love of Gog," Rage started, before showing another massive black dragon-like creature. "Where do I begin with Gore Magala?" He questioned as the hunter came to a large crack in the ground.

"He was the flagship monster of the fourth generation of hunters and he brought with him something we'd never seen before: a focus mostly on him. In all the generations before, we had focused on pretty much any monster that had become a threat. This was still the case in the fourth generation, but very few monsters were a threat compared to Gore Magala, or if they were, he was likely the cause of them being so fearsome, so it all tied back to him. It was basically the generation of Gore Magala, featuring cameos from the other monsters." Rage explained as the hunter was seen running towards a large rock formation, where another hunter with a heavy bowgun waited and laid out some large barrel bombs.

"Wow. This thing must be important if an entire generation was spent dealing with it." Emerald said.

"Based on what we've seen so far, I can detect nothing in particular that makes this creature more of a threat than anything we've seen before." Penny stated.

"I think if there's one thing we learned so far, it's that these guys are always WAY more dangerous than they look. Especially if they look dangerous to begin with." Jaune stated.

"Very well put, Jaune." Ren agreed.

"Not to mention his appeareance... Appeareance? Appeareance! Sounds like a spell." Rage laughed at his goof, a puff of magic smoke appearing, before the Tigrex was seen lunging towards the bowgun hunter and the barrel bombs he laid out.

Everyone got a small laugh out of this. "I wonder what kind of spell that would be?" Coco wondered

"I'd probably guess something to do with teleporting." Velvet guessed.

"Behold! My awesome magical power! Appeareance!" Weiss declared.

"Oh, no! Not appeareance! I'm no match for it!" Blake said in mock terror.

"Surely, such a spell would even make Salem cower in fear." Winter joked.

"Not to mention his appearance, right? Pretty good. 9 out of 10, would... mount." Rage began, only to break out into laughter again. "He is sleek, shiny black shell covering every inch. He looks almost not real, alien, unlike anything before him. The bulk but still a litheness that makes him incredibly deadly, fast and strong. He has no visible eyes, incredibly poor eyesight, in fact. There's something about him that's just not quite right. Definitely in the top 3 monsters you don't want to meet in a dark alleyway. " Rage listed as Gore Magala finally showed itself and dropped down on the Tigrex, appearing to have pressed down with its foot and snapped the Flying Wyvern's neck, before roaring in victory as a post-it note appeared from the left top corner of the screen with the 3 monsters you don't want to meet in the dark alleyway, 1: Gore Magala, 2: Khezu and 3: Bullfango.

"While technically all these monsters are aliens to us, Gore Magala does look like it does look like it's from another world." Coco pointed out.

"I don't know. I think that thing could definitely pass for a Grimm." Velvet told her leader.

"And do you see the size of those hands on its wings! I bet he can beat Yang at arm wrestling." Ruby declared.

"Hey!" Yang protested.

"Probably because it's massive arms will throw her around like Hulk did to Loki!" Emerald declared, getting giggles and chuckles out of everyone accept Yang, who pouted.

"Come on, Yang. It is a little funny. And just imagine you flying Loki around instead." Neo told her, a smile quickly coming back to Yang's face.

"That's a pretty good list of monster's I'd rather not run into, though." Qrow noted.

"Indeed. But what is this Bullfango?" Ironwood asked.

"A boarbetusk that's as tall as you." Katana said, leaving them all shocked and disturbed. "They don't have a rolling attack, though, but they make up for that by attacking hunters when they're already dealing with larger monsters. It'd be like if you were fighting Hazel and a goose attacked you out of nowhere." She explained. This calmed some of them down while confusing others. They attack hunters while dealing with giant monsters, which probably eat them. What's wrong with those psycho boars?!

"He has incredibly muscled wings, ending in clawed, prehensile hands that allow him to do some quite dexterous feats, such as gingerly popping your head open. He is very intelligent, able to learn and develop new strategies on the fly and brings them to bear in combat. Hell, he even learned he can just play dead and walk away from situations where his untapped fury is not instantly winning him the day." Rage explained as the Gore Magala changed its focus from the Tigrex to the hunters.

"That is actually quite impressive! Playing dead is a surprisingly effective strategy against most other animals and even humans without the knowledge that they're capable of doing so." Penny stated.

"Yep. Gypceros does it, too, but way worse. You totally know they're still alive. Gore Magala's, they can really get you to believe they're dead." Katana confirmed.

"And that's why the double tap was invented." Pyrrha stated, making a finger gun and making it seem like she shot it twice.

"But look, based on everything that I've told you so far and the fact that in terms of power level, he's like apex-ish, you know? Diablos would give him a good fight, though he'd probably win, but you know, around there. You might be thinking 'How is this guy such a big- I mean, yeah. He's unique, he's cool, but... can he really be that bad, like the biggest threat of the entire generation? I feel like you've hyped him up.'" Rage stated as a hunter with a staff-like weapon used the staff to vault into the air, spinning it above his head like a helicopter blade and prepared to strike the Gore Magala with it.

"I mean... Yeah, you kind hit the nail on the head. He's cool, but he's not all that." Nora said.

"Why do I have a feeling we'll all regret her saying that?" Winter asked.

"Well, the thing is... Gore Magala's most deadly weapon is...Whew. Terrifying. You see, Gore Magala... is a necromancer." Rage explained as the battle between the hunter and the Gore Magala faded to black, opening in on a pack of reddish-orange, black spotted raptors radiating with familiar black smoke stood over a defeated Zinogre, the largest one preparing to take a bite, before the Zinogre suddenly lunged at it with a terrifying spike in the music, before everything went black once again and Rage let out an evil laugh, then a group of obvious villains was shown laughing evilly.

"Eeeep!" Ruby cried, pulling her hood over her face to hide her eyes from the horror. "I don't wanna watch this anymore, turn it off!" She pleaded.

"Come on, Rubes. Isn't it better than seeing those things eat Zinogre?" Yang asked her sister, who lifted her who and nodded a bit.

"So, what do you call those, then?" Ironwood asked.

"The smaller ones are called Ioprey and they're led by the larger one, known as the Iodrome. They live in swamps and volcanic regions. If Cardin were here, that's what I'd give him for a monster, since the Io raptors are venomous and he's fucking toxic." Katana said, growling at the thought of team CRDL's leader. [1]

"Come now, Katana. True, Mister Winchester isn't our most honorable student, but he hardly deserves such ridicule and shaming when he's not even here to defend himself." Ozpin said.

"Oh, really? Just like how Velvet hardly deserves to have her ears yanked on? Or Faunus in general deserve all the put downs he gives them? Seriously, are you just that unaware, or do you let him get away with this stuff?" She questioned as she showed the clip of Cardin yanking Velvet's ears, or when he claimed it was easier to train a soldier than an animal.

"Really, Oz? You're letting that kid be a huntsman?" Qrow questioned.

"Agreed. Even in Atlas, we have a zero tolerance policy towards such kind of behavior and students are regularly expelled for it." Ironwood said.

"Excellent idea, James. When we return, I will most certainly be calling for AT LEAST Cardin's expulsion, if not his whole teams. And I won't hear any of your excuse that 'they're still children'." Glynda snapped, Ozpin staying silent and thinking about how much he could truly tolerate from his students. [2]

"In all seriousness, though: introducing the Frenzy Virus, the most deadly and terrifying natural defense, I would say, EVER. You remember I said ol' Gore-y can't see very well, bless him. But he does have two antennae, folded against his head or erect with purple glow-y tips while enraged, see? They're not quite horns. Well, these antennae let him interact with the world interact with the world in a more precise way than blurry, 'I forgot my glasses, where are my glasses?' vision." Rage explained as the clip from the beginning when Gore was first shown was seen, the creature leaping off its higher ledge, next to and past the hunter, knocking him down by the wind it produced from rushing by.

"And he does this by scattering tiny little hairs and scales in the air and then spreading them throughout his environment with his wings. They will settle on, well- everything, painting him a picture. If it settles on another living thing, another monster, well then the antennae can pick that up and it gives him an almost Predator heat vision-like sense of his immediate location." Rage told of the finer details of Gore's most vital ability and sense as the beast turned to face the hunter, shedding so many hairs and scales that it began to darken the area, starting to block out the sun as it roared in fury.

"Amazing. Some Faunus have heat vision, but I don't think any of us have something quite like that." Blake said.

"But, how can scales and hairs make zombies? That doesn't make any sense." Neo scoffed at the idea.

"If Rage is good at one thing, it's how he makes something seems unimportant or minor while he builds up to something major." Winter warned the former mute.

The fight between Zinogre and the Ioprey group was shown once again.

"Zinogre, no! Leave him alone, you big meanies!" Ruby snapped at the raptors.

"It's alright, Ruby. You saw for yourself, it gets its revenge."

"Venomous and pack hunters. Truly a deadly combination. Multiple claws bites from different directions, each one delivering toxins to the body. That is a fight I believe I would stay in the air for." Penny stated.

"Well, thank you for that... troubling image Penny." Ironwood said, feeling a bit ill at the idea of taking multiple bites and being filled with deadly poison by each one.

"They're actually not that bad. I think they know with smaller targets like humans that they'd get in each other's way if they all went in at once, so they only go in two, maybe three at a time, so you have a better chance of dealing with them than that Zinogre would. That and you guys are all, at minimum, three times faster than these guys and most of you have guys or ranged weapons, so you should have no problem staying out of their reach and picking them off from a distance" Katana assured them, making them calm down.

"I need to get a ranged weapon." Jaune said worriedly. [3]

"We'll think of something, Jaune." Pyrrha assured him.

"But, the catch, the problem, the uh- the slight side effects: if another monster breathes in these hairs and scales- Well, they get infected with the Frenzy Virus and after A LITTTLE bit of an incubation period, from minutes to- Well, days, ha ha! They, uh... Appear to sort of just die. But then... Well, they come back. It's very zombie-esque. And once they come back, they get a little bit of a purple hue, their skin darkens, they start emanating this plague-like substance themselves, they get red, evil eyes and- Oh! They go ABSOLUTELY FUCKING BAT-SHIT, CRAZY, MENTAL, PSYCHOPATH RAMPAGE!" Rage cried out in a panicked, yet somehow also furious tone as the raptors from before were shown ganging up on and furiously attacking a Zinogre as it tried to fight back and escape their attack, before eventually losing out to their combined assault and collapsing to its side, before repeating the events of the scene as it was first shown, grabbing the leader by the neck, shaking it violently and shocking it as terrifying, slasher-like music played to add to the intensity.

Everyone was freaked out by the Zinogre getting up and raging furiously and the music certainly didn't help. "Holy crap. The Zinogre was barely holding its own at first, now it's dominating." Qrow said in shock.

"And it seemed dead to rights, but now it's back up and stronger than ever." Weiss said fearfully.

"It's unreal..." Emerald said.

"On a good day. And do not stop until a few days later after a good bit of killing everything in sight, they get a little bit tuckered out and DROP DEAD." Rage declared happily at first, but very quickly changing to ominously at the end, aided by an intimidating echo to emphasize his serious tone as the Zinogre was again seen grabbing the leader of the raptors in its jaws and swinging it around, knocking away all the smaller ones, before finally tossing the leader away.

"He beat those motherfuckers with another motherfucker!" Nora cried out.

"Miss Valkyrie!" Glynda snapped.

"Well... She wasn't wrong." Ozpin admitted.

Amazingly, however, the leader somehow managed to survive its neck being chomped down on by a massive wolf monster and used for a rag doll, as it began to get back up. "Oh, man! This Zinogre's really tough, guy-Aah!" Rage spoke in a high-pitched voice, clearly meant to be speaking as the raptor leader, before it was suddenly kicked in the face by one of the smaller raptors. "W-what are you doing?! What are you doing, guys?! We gotta get up! We gotta get him! Why!? We're not- No! NO! Aah! Aaaaaah-!" The raptor cried out, its voice fading out towards as its back descended upon it and began to cannibalize it.

"I can't watch!" Ruby cried out, clinging tightly to Cinder as everyone else also held onto their respective cuddle partner in fear.

"That's like something out my worst nightmare..." Jaune said.

"I'm almost tempted to wipe that from my memory banks." Penny stated in horror.

"And yes, that was a spreading of the Frenzy Virus so quick that the little Ioprey turned on their leader, the Iodrome and started EATING HIM ALIVE! Ha ha! Isn't nature beautiful?!" Rage asked as the scene was shown one final time.

"Not right now!" Everyone except Katana shouted.

"Now, this problem is further compounded by the fact that the Frenzy Virus bestows... bestows a few benefits on those infected. It makes them stronger, faster, turns up their aggression to its absolute limits and essentially a Barroth infected with Frenzy would pull quite the role reversal on a normal Diablos." Rage went over the effects of the Virus as a hunter with a lance was seen jabbing at a flying Gore Magala in a grassy plain, before a desert was shown as a Diablos burst from the ground with a poor Barroth trapped under its horns, before everything reversed and the Barroth was standing on the ground like nothing happened.

"Oh, lovely. So now the monsters that aren't even that much trouble become threats." Coco said sarcastically.

"And what about the ones that are already threats?" Velvet asked worriedly.

"And most importantly, what about the Elder Dragons?" Blake asked as well, everyone becoming horrified again.

"For Velvet's question, you're getting ahead of us, Bun-Bun. Pull back a little bit. As for the Elder Dragons, you'll be happy to know that they're immune to the Virus." Katana explained, putting everyone at ease.

"It does make the host more susceptible to damage, so it's got that going for it. Oh and, uh... All of the effected monster's attacks also spread more virus. So a trickle becomes a flood in very, very little time. You see how everything gets wiped out around a Gore Magala. They are devastating." Rage spoke of just how much of a plague the Frenzy Virus was as the hunter and his Palicos were all knocked down by the beast, before everything went black. "So fear the Gore Magala. Its wings, a shadow of death upon the land. Its shadow, a blight so virulent that all should flee. With just its mere presence, it will turn the surrounding forests into a bloodbath, the rivers running crimson with the life force of many monsters mercilessly slaughtered in the furious screams of Frenzy. Woe betide any hunters who try and stem the bleeding." Rage warned as the beast began to fight in the air, shooting orbs of the Frenzy Virus out wildly as the hunter tried to jab at it in the air.

"I'd rather avoid the woe, thank you very much!" Neo declared.

"But they have to stop the monsters and the Virus, Neo. If that kind of thing spread, I think Salem and the Grimm would be the least of our worries." Yang said.

"Unless it's able to infect the Grimm. And the Grimm powered up by such a Virus. I can't think of it..." Ren said, looking like he was on the verge of a heart attack from imagining such a horror.

"But stem it, we must! Because while they may die naturally to infection, the damage they cause in the mean time... Ooh, it is devastating. So now you see why Gore Magala is such a big deal, right? He cannot exist without huge ramifications. There's a reason it took most of a generation. We had to discover Frenzied monsters and had to discover their source, eventually we found the Magala and we had a reckoning." Rage asked as the hunter side-stepped the Gore Magala's attacks and repeatedly jabbed it with his lance, even making the beast fall to its side.

"BRING THAT THING DOWN!" Everyone, Katana included this time, shouted all together in encouragement for the hunter.

"But now, I know what you must be thinking: 'Hunters? Humans? Infected with Virus? Yes?' Well, yes. If you get hit by Gore Magala's breath attacks, which are hugely potent clouds of the virus, or indeed just his swipes from his muscled wing claws- I wish I had muscled wing claws, you will get infected, but in humans/hunters, it has a very different result. You will notice a purple hue to your skin and black fog around your body which will become more intense over time. This is the incubation period. You can to either let it happen or try and slow it down with nulberries, but if the incubation completes, you will become infected. You will take extra damage from Frenzy-based attacks and you will lose the ability to heal naturally. It's quite nasty." Rage explained as the hunter was pelted by several balls of concentrated Frenzy Virus, as well as a few swipes from the beast's claws.

"Oh, come on! The monsters get bigger, faster and stronger, but we take more damage! No fair!" Coco whined.

"So, this Virus does nothing but make everything completely terrible for humanity?" Cinder questioned.

"That's essentially what I've gathered." Pyrrha agreed.

"However! If you give into the Frenzy and attack, attack and attack again, you can actually master it, take control of the virus and turn it into a positive, giving yourself a boost in speed, strength and durability should you get enough adrenaline pumping through your system before the virus finishes incubating, which is really neat, right?" Rage spoke of the benefits the Virus could have to a hunter as the Gore Magala flew low to the ground, knocking down the hunter, who quickly got back up and attacked the beast as it landed, managing to switch the situation and bring it down to its knees.

"Wow! That almost sounds worth getting infected. You just have to go wild on the monster and attack like crazy!" Jaune said a bit hopeful.

"Yeah! That's our specialty!" Nora declared, raising her arm into the air along with Yang.

"Still, taking more damage and not being able to heal... What if that even applies to our aura?" Blake asked worriedly, that question sending a wave of dread over everyone.

"And more importantly... What if that doesn't just apply to hunters?" Ironwood questioned, everyone's eyes widening in shock and horror.

"But... Are humans unique in this? Well, aha! Mmm- Funny you should ask about that." Rage laughed in a manner like he was trying to avoid the topic or work his way around it, the image of a man sweating faster than should be possible being shown as Rage took a deep breath. "No. " He declared almost instantly after his deep breath as the desert could be seen where a Hermitaur ducked down for cover under its shell while a hunter and his Palico watched a massive swarm of Flying Wyverns fly over them. "You see, various powerful monsters have individuals of strong mind and will who also master the Virus: your Rajangs, your Deviljhos, your Diablos, your Seregioses and, well... They turn into APEX MONSTERS." He declared as images of Rajang, Deviljho, Diablos and a new creature they hadn't seen yet was shown, but it looked vicious with sharp-looking scales and a serrated horn.

"Well, there's your answer, bunny girl. Happy now?" Emerald asked with a small glare.

"It's not her fault. She was just worried. Clearly, with good reason." Ren stated, pointing to the screen.

Ruby lightened up a bit, however. "That last one looks cool, though. Will we see that one, soon?" Ruby asked.

"Yep. You'll be seeing that one in the next video." Katana confirmed. Velvet and Coco were shocked at this. The next video would be Velvet's monster. THAT'S what she was getting!? No, surely they heard her wrong. She must have said ONE OF the next videos... right?

A group of hunters was then seen investigating a dark jungle-like area. "And Apex Monsters... I still wake up screaming in the night, double Apex Rajang can go fuck itself!" Rage wept a bit as one of the hunters noticed a large gash in a large stone on the ground, before they grouped together in response of a noise. "And they essentially claim the Frenzy, making it their own, gaining all of the benefits, the huge increase in speed, power, strength, aggression while shedding all of the weaknesses like, you know, dying! In this Frenzied Apex state, their skin hues purple, their eyes glowing red with hate!" Rage declared with a bit of panic in his voice as something flew by like a blur, before a cliffside was destroyed near them, causing the hunters to draw their weapons, before one of them had to block some strange, knife-like scales, which imbedded themselves deep into his shield after he blocked. Then, one of them was snatched away by the airborne menace. Text then appeared on the screen, likely something Rage forgot to say: "Oh and an 80% damage reduction and immunity to traps!

All of the students were rocking back and forth in horror at this. "No Apex... No apex..." Many of them were mumbling.

The adults weren't that far off either, Ozpin clutching his cane so hard it was threatening to crack and Winter and Glynda were subconsciously holding Qrow and Ironwood's hands respectively.

"The strengthening it gives them means that even weapons with Mind's Eye, even the sharpest of blades, get turned away from their thickened scales. So, you need a way to fight these beasts, they're quite a problem for the Guild, as they are absolutely dominating. What an Apex Monster will do is slaughter every other one of its kind in the immediate area, then slaughter every other living thing and claim and empire of bones, of which it rules utterly! And... occasionally go out and slaughter a few villages. You know, Sunday afternoon!" Rage explained as the hunter who was snatched from the group was suddenly thrown back at them, the others checking on him before a massive one of the Seregios creatures landed behind the group, eyes glowing red as it radiated the black mist, before everything went black.

"So... these Apex monsters are capable of causing just as much bloodshed as a Deviljho!" Pyrrha realized.

"You know, that is an accurate description of them." Katana admitted.

"I think I'd fight a Deviljho any day before I fought one of those." Jaune said fearfully.

"And they are incredibly tough to bring down, you need specialized equipment, I.E the Wystones. They were tough to find at first, but we eventually did and applied them to our weapons and they essentially let you pierce an Apex Monster. With them, you'll be capable of knocking the Frenzy out of the monster, it will suppress the infection, returning them to a somewhat normal state and leveling the playing field." Rage informed about the Wystones and how critical they were to stop the infection as a new group of hunters was shown fighting an infected Rajang.

"But, we probably don't have those on Remnant." Weiss said.

"We'd have to look for a proper substitute in the form of dust immediately." Winter stated.

"We might even have to make new dust combinations." Glynda added, thinking of any possibilities to replicate those Wystones to keep the Apex monsters away from her students.

"So, these Apex Monsters then, are well... Ha! They're essentially just super-enhanced versions of what you might expect on top of the color change. It's like someone took a normal monster that you might know and injected it with the Super Soldier serum." Rage explained simply as the fight against the Apex Rajang went on, nothing noteworthy happening, though.

Suddenly, a clip was shown of a high school hallway, where someone opened up a folding chair and sat down in it. That someone revealed to be none other than Steve Rogers, Captain America. "So..." Steve began, the voice they know and love coming through. "You got infected." He continued, although this time it was clearly Rage speaking over a muted Captain.

"Eeeee! It's Captain America!" Ruby squealed happily.

"And lookin' hot as ever." Yang said with a purr.

"That is quite a clever tie-in." Penny noted with a giggle.

"So, already then, you can see why Gore Magala is so much of a big deal. But! Gore Magala's are incredibly aggressive because they need a lot of prey. They're incredibly elusive because they need to survive, they are seldom seen. And why would they need to survive and eat a lot? Well, have you ever heard the story of the hungry, hungry caterpillar?" Rage asked, a bit of a smirk audible in his town as if he was getting ready for something big.

"Ooh, I like that one!" Velvet said with a smile. "A little caterpillar eats basically everything he comes across to grow and gain energy for when he goes into a cocoon and then turns into a butterfly." She explained with a smile.

"But, that makes Gore Magala the caterpillar... What's the butterfly?!" Blake asked worriedly, hugging Emerald out of fear.

"I don't think I want to know." Emerald said, hugging her back.

"Yup, that's not even his final form." Rage declared as a Gore Magala was seen fighting with the hunter in blue armor as it knocked down a large tent. Suddenly, a humanoid, lizard-like alien similar to Cooler was shown, looking quite shocked at this information.

Everyone was shocked at this, unable to process what they just heard and were hoping they heard it wrong. "What?" James asked.

"He MUST be joking. There is no way something that powerful can become even more so." Glynda said in shock.

"I wish with all my heart you were right, Glynda. Unfortunately, that does not seem to be the case." Ozpin said worriedly.

"Oh, Gore Magala is a juvenile. A BABY." Rage dropped the massive truth bomb as a secluded area of forest was shown.

"...So the monster responsible for a virus that causes so much death, so much destruction, SO much bloodshed, is only an INFANT?!" Winter cried out in horror.

"Damn, that's one dangerous baby." Qrow said, stunned.

"If that thing's a baby, I can't even imagine what hideous monstrosity it's going to become. It has to be even worse than Vaal Hazak!" Weiss said fearfully.

"And when he eats enough, he will return to Heaven's Mount, ascend high up to its peaks and molts into its adult form. Meet the Shagaru Magala." Rage announced as an epic choir vocalized while Gore Magala stood up, shifting a bit as its black carapace broke and fell off, giving way to a beautiful gold underneath it, its wing opening wide as it stood up proudly and roared, the shape of the wings, along with their brilliant golden glow almost making the new creature look like a glimmering gold star.

Everyone was shocked at this. "It's... beautiful." Weiss said in awe.

"So pretty." Ruby said in amazement.

"How could something as monstrous as Gore Magala become something so incredible." Glynda said.

"Oh, don't be fooled. It may be stunning compared to Gore, but it is every bit the same monster as its younger self. If not more." Katana warned them...

A/N: Sorry to cut it off where I did, but HOLY CRAP! This was a long one. When I decided to cut this episode in two, I was at 7,500 words BEFORE even writing reactions for Shagaru. By the time I finished, it would've been entirely too long.

[1] Shout out to Sai for the joke. Good one, bro!

[2] church2550 and I have an ongoing discussion about this subject, whether or not Ozpin's aware of the bullying, in which case he's being VERY negligent, or if he's letting it slide, which is practically condoning it.

[3] Don't mention the shield grenade, please. Yes, it's ranged, but it's not really a weapon and the raptor monsters could easily jump over it. Seriously, I appreciate them giving Jaune upgrades, but at least give the guy a gun, already!
