A/N: Thanks again to qazse for help with reactions.

"Yes! I can't wait to see uncle Qrow's monster!" Ruby cheered.

"Oh, yeah! I'm sure it's gonna be just as awesome as you, uncle Qrow!" Yang said, smiling at her uncle.

"A lot of those missions I've been on would've been a lot easier with some back up. And ever since Katana got rid of that damn bad luck semblance for me, I've been thinking of getting a pet." Qrow admitted.

"It will definitely be good for you to have a partner out there watching your back." Ironwood agreed.

"You've certainly earned it, Qrow. Out of all my allies through all my reincarnations, you've been one of the most loyal and reliable I could have asked for." Ozpin added.

"Yes, you've proven yourself quite reliable and a good friend. At least when you're sober." Glynda stated.

"Alright, then! Without further ado! I hope you're a dog lover, Qrow, because it's time to introduce you all to the muscle puppy!" Katana declared, playing the episode.

The evening sun was shown as clouds moved across the now orange sky, before a forest was shown and Oceaniz began to speak. "Life finds a way. This saying is engrained into our culture and society, yet rarely do we take pause to appreciate and marvel at just how true it is. Be it the blistering heat of underwater volcanoes, or the freezing winds of the icy tundra's, life is ever-present with unflinching, unstoppable desire to live and to exist drives many creatures to drastic, impressive measures in order to brave the harshest environments known to man." He spoke sagely as a rock shelf slowly formed by lava from an underwater volcano was shown, before changing to the harsh and barren frozen forests, then finally to a seagull flying gracefully through the air.

"Underwater volcanoes are so cool!" Emerald said excitedly. Strange and seemingly impossible things in nature always astounded her. That's one of the prospects she thought would be most interesting when Cinder gained the Maiden powers.

"It is pretty beautiful. Almost paradoxical. A volcano and lava out in the open underwater. How does it not all just harden into rock?" Blake wondered. She then felt something on her shoulder and looked to see Neo had fallen. "Uh, Yang? I think this is yours." She said, moving Neo to lean against Yang.

"She'll wake up when we see the muscle puppy or whatever Katana called it." Emerald said, used to it from Neo always passing out when she tried to watch a documentary.

Next, a sturgeon was shown beneath the water once again before the host continued. "This remains true even for an ecosystem fueled by the antithesis of life, death. Even in the putrid depths of the dead waste, life springs forth, a paradoxical turn in nature's story. And some creatures strive in environments like these and develop into fantastical testaments of life's tenacity." Oceaniz declared as a whale shark cruised through the ocean, close to the surface, before a snake wa shown slithering across a large, hole-filled stick in the desert, then showing a view of the blue sky, higher even than the clouds, before the beauty of space was seen to complete the intro.

Ren and Nora smiled at this. They knew just how powerful the drive to survive was. "Yeah. That tenacity saved our butts a few times." Nora said with a giggle.

"A bit more than a few. But we grew stronger because of all those experiences. And we did it together." Ren told her, to which she smiled and they placed their foreheads against each other.

"Young love." Winter said with a smile. She remembered having a few interested parties back in the academy, but she was always too focused on her studies.

"Oceaniz Presents"

"The Odogaron"

The surface of a large body of water was shown in the evening light as Oceaniz spoke again. "The world we inhabit is a place defined by variety. Every corner of our planet is a unique ecosystem that may seem similar to others at first, but presents its own fascinating challenges for its inhabitants. No matter where we look, we are witnessing millions of years of tenacity and ambition in action, as every organism puts their every fiber to work in order to survive, to overcome, to adapt and to procreate. While it may sometimes be invisible and difficult to see, other times the environments and its respective inhabitants are paradoxical and surprising." He explained how life always seems to continued as a bumblebee was shown collecting pollen, before an alligator gar was shown moving through swamp-like waters, then finally stopping on a strange fly somehow managing to stand on a bead of water, rather than get trapped within it.

"Just one more reason Salem can't win. So she cannot end all this glorious life around us." Penny declared.

"I agree, Penny. This world is beautiful. And I want to travel and see it. And I can't do that if Salem destroys it." Velvet said her hopes for the future.

"You better be bringing me along when you do this, Bun-Bun." Coco told her.

After all the amazing examples of life was shown, it was soon replaced by the infamous valley of death that is the Rotten Vale. "An ecosystem like the Rotten Vale of the New World, a graveyard of death and decay, would not seem like a harbor for much life. And yet, some seem to survive and even excel in this harsh and deadly environment." Oceaniz declared as the place of decay was shown from several angles, some making it seem like the place was actually made of decayed bones and rotting flesh.

"It's been so long since we've seen the Vale- or, the ROTTEN Vale, rather. I almost forgot it existed." Glynda stated, feeling the need to emphasize the word rotten, lest she compare this place of death to the wonderful kingdom and city she taught and lived in.

"Yes. Didn't Strawfoot mention that the Rotten Vale is made of... the remains of a massive Elder Dragon?" Ironwood asked, a bit disturbed by an entire ecosystem being made from the body of a dead creature.

"Dalamadur, yes. As an Elder Dragon, its body was simply overflowing with bio-energy. And that energy allowed for life to be sustainable in the remains of the massive creature." Katana confirmed.

"It may be somewhat disturbing to call a corpse home, but as Oceaniz has said, it is quite impressive that life has managed to find a way to exist in all this time, in a place literally made from death." Ozpin said with a mix of admiration and disturbance on his face.

"Such is the case with the Crimson Emperor of the Vale, the dogged predator of blood and death... The Odogaron." Oceaniz introduced the creature along with its theme as it was slowly shown in all its glory: a blood red canine-esque creature with a long snout, filled with razor-sharp teeth and fangs that extended beyond the range of its mouth. It was then shown, likely from the creatures point of view, that a girl was separating from the hunter accompanying her, running ahead of him, sending the beast into hunting mode, rushing after the girl, showing off its thin, streamlined body. It then placed its foot on the floor, its four claws suddenly being accompanied by SIX more as it stood in front of the hunter, ready to face off against him and defend its territory. Everything then went black as the monster's roar was heard.

Despite being such a dog lover, Ruby shrank a bit as she saw the Odogaron and used her semblance to somehow collect Yang, Cinder and Qrow, who'd been moved to nearly halfway down the couch from her at this point, positioning them around herself like a protective posse with Qrow in front as she clung to Cinder's arm. "I-it's kind of cool, but really scary, too. And I don't like the way he described it." She said fearfully, scared of how ferocious it was.

That was, of course, triple for Blake. Especially when she saw the size of its fangs. "That thing is not a dog. Zwei is a dog! That is a demon!" Blake cried out, clinging to Emerald in much the same way Ruby was to Cinder.

"It's okay, Blake. I'm sure your semblance would let you escape from it no problem. And even if it didn't, I'd be right there to save your precious Bellabooty." Emerald said, teasingly at the end. Blake gave her a punch in the shoulder at the nickname given to her butt, yet also snuggled closer, happy her new girlfriend would defend her.

"It's alright, Ruby. It's just a video. It can't hurt you." Cinder assured her.

"Yeah. Besides, if that thing is my pet, you don't really think I'd let it hurt you, do you?" Qrow asked. Ruby shook her head at this and Qrow smiled, turning around to hug his niece, before moving in between her and Yang. [1]

Neo's eyes fluttered open in the excitement and she looked at Odogaron in awe. "That is one epic puppy!" Neo said.

"But oh, man! Did you see those claws! Those things were sick!" Yang cheered.

"They are impressive, but I am struggling to find any reason why a second pair of retractable claws would be necessary." Penny said in confusion.

"Because clearly, nature believed overkill is underrated." Weiss said, finding the extra claws rather absurd, but after the ROCKET POWERED ELDER DRAGON, that seemed to be par for the course.

"Dubbed 'The Cruel Claw Wyvern' in the Native tongue, the Odogaron is an imposing, carnivorous beast. Crimson scales and beady blue eyes, this monster is an apex predator with few equals. Like many others of the Fanged Wyvern classification, its quadrupedal body structure emphasizes its strong front legs and deadly maw. However, the Odogaron also boasts some canine features, most notably its howl and perhaps more crucially, its senses. It's eyes are weak and under-developed, so much so that it has long-since lost any eyelids it might have had. But this doesn't hinder the beast, as it more than makes up for it with its sense of smell, which is accurate enough to pin point the location of its prey at all times. Research has suggested that this sense of smell developed as an adaptation to the Rotten Vale, as its nose had to become potent enough to sniff out potential food in a heap of decaying odor." Oceaniz explained the basics of the monster as a hunter fought the beast, wielding a set of glowing orange short axes, even spinning and slicing all down the creature's back at one point.

"I-it doesn't have eyelids!? That's not possible! It needs something to protect its eyes and keep them wet!" Emerald cried out.

"Apparently, it's cornea protects its eyes somehow. I don't really know how that works, but oh well." Katana said.

"That level of smell must be better than any Faunus." Velvet said, amazed.

"Well, lucky you quit drinking, or that's all the poor creature would smell." Winter said to Qrow, who rolled his eyes..

"Ugh. Or Roman's cigars." Neo shuddered. She hated those freaking cigars.

"Although, perhaps they could be used as replacements for bloodhounds for the police." Ozpin pondered. While the Grimm are always top priority, it's important not to forget about the small stuff as well.

"The most striking features of the Odogaron, however, is its claws. This monster possesses two sets of them, four base claws and six true claws on each paw. The four base claws are always visible and are used like any other foot would, for transportation and sneaking. The six true claws, however, are retractable and fold over the base claws when active. They serve a very specific purpose. They leave large, deep, jagged gashes in any prey, causing SEVERE bleeding." Oceaniz explained the purpose of the many claws as the Odogaron rapidly moved back and forth between the hunter and his Palico, clawing at both of them, before the claws were shown extending out in all their glory once again.

"Holy cats! So many claws!" Ruby cried out excitedly. "Those cuts look pretty nasty, though." She said, clearly unnerved.

"It's not pretty, but causing such lacerations and that level of bleeding is brutally simplistic and effective." Pyrrha admitted.

"That's ten claws per foot! That's FORTY CLAWS in total!? What could ever need that many?!" Weiss cried out.

"Clearly, Odogaron and I have the same philosophy. That overkill is underrated." Cinder said with a smirk. Sure, she was toning down the evil, but that didn't mean she had to tone down the sass.

"With an average length of about 12 meters, it may be among the smaller inhabitants of the Rotten Vale. However, the Odogaron is not to be underestimated. While some monsters evolve outlandish, bizarre traits to survive and compete, this predator has evolved a frighteningly simple ability: speed. When engaging its prey or any adversary, the Odogaron will dart around at enormous velocity, jumping between walls and closing distances with targets in miniscule intervals. But even more dangerous is the beast's fast reaction time, being able to respond and react to attacks almost immediately." Oceaniz declared as just like he said, the Odogaron easily rushed between the foes attacking it, those being the hunter, his Palico and several small lizards all attacking him, moving between them, striking and moving to safety in a matter of seconds.

"Aww, yeah! Speed team for life!" Yang declared.

"And it's quite clever, using the walls to its advantage, allowing it to move around easily while staying out of reach of melee weapons." Pyrrha noted.

"Smart. Sometimes I use my crow form to make quick getaways myself." Qrow said.

"But that means I'm not safe up in a tree like with Zwei." Blake said fearfully.

"Um, Blake? I don't think there's any tree big enough for that thing." Ren told her, putting the Faunus at ease.

A familiar light and dark blue striped screen was shown with an image of the Odogaron popping up from the bottom of it, with the words "Neural Network" dropping in from the top. "This consistent speed can be traced back to Odogaron's neural network. In the body of most large creatures, signals from and to the brain are transported through nerves. The signal takes two forms: inside a nerve cell, or neuron, it travels as an electric pulse. Once it reaches the end of the neuron, it usually also reaches a connection to the next neuron, called the synapse." Oceaniz explained as the cartoon image of a lightning bolt was shown traveling through a green tube, which was the neuron, text at the top of the screen stating "At the Synapse".

"Aww, more science stuff?!" Jaune groaned.

"It is important to learn the biology of creatures to get a better understanding of them, Jaune." Penny told him.

"Exactly. And we have to be able to understand these creatures if we are to successfully keep them at bay. It's exactly like how we've dealt with Grimm all these years. Only these creatures are far more complex." Winter agreed.

A second neuron tube was then put at the end of the other tube. "Because two neurons don't actually touch each other, the electric signal can't jump between them as is, it triggers the release of neurotransmitters, which are a chemical signal." He went on as the lightning bolt somehow produced a bunch of blood cells that moved to the next neuron, becoming another lightning bolt. "They are released out of a neuron into the inter-cellular space, where they swim around until the dock at the other neuron, triggering a continuation of the electric signal. This is roughly how a nerve works for most creatures, humans included." Oceaniz finished the lecture as the diagram zoomed out back to only show the fist nerve.

When Oceaniz goes over the monsters neural network, everyone hears snoring to find Nora has fallen asleep from the lecture. Neo wasn't much better, having fallen asleep and slumped back against Blake again, who once again adjusted her to lean against Yang. "How have these two been passing any classes if they're always falling asleep? like this?" Glynda questioned.

"Neo always guilts me into doing her homework with her puppy dog eyes." Emerald said in annoyance.

"I... do Nora's for her when she falls asleep doing it." Pyrrha admits guiltily.

"I would kindly ask you both stop doing that immediately." Glynda told them with a glare.

"Yes, ma'am." They said fearfully.

"But how does this relate to speed? Well, the speed of a signal determines how fast we can perform certain actions and react to stimuli. Usually, the speed of nerves is limited by two things. Firstly, the synapse's speed at releasing and absorbing neurotransmitters. But, more importantly, it's limited by the physics of electricity itself. Electricity will always take the road of least resistance. Therefor, it will go anywhere it can without being impeded." Oceaniz continued as the nerve lowered and two lines of text appeared under "Speed of Neural Signals": "speed of post-synapse uptake" and the physics of electricity", before it zoomed back in on the neuron. "So, let's say that in this neuron, an electrical signal is traveling. But how does it know in which direction to go? If the neuron is equally conductive everywhere, which it has to be in order for signals to travel through completely, what's stopping a signal from going backwards, or in both directions?" He questioned as the lightning bolt went back the way it came, then two lightning bolts went each direction.

"Fascinating." Ren noted, impressed by how the process of signals being sent happened.

"Yeah. It really is a miracle just how our bodies work and perform the way they do." Emerald said happily.

Cinder couldn't help but smile a bit. It was nice to see Emerald smiling more. She didn't do that too much in their dorms. Although that made her wonder how much of that was from her pushing her to help with the fall of Beacon, which she was clearly apprehensive about. Fortunately, that plan was definitely behind them at this point. [2]

"Yes, but it seems like for every answer, we get a new question." Pyrrha said.

"Bartholomew would say that is the miracle of science." Ozpin told her.

six dashed outlines of rectangles suddenly appeared along the nerve. "Well, you can divide a neuron into points, which a signal passes through on its way. Every time a point is passed by a signal, it 'closes the gate', so to speak, becoming nonconductive for a certain amount of time. This is called the refractory period. Thanks to this, an electric pulse can only move forward through a nerve, as any point it has passed closes down and doesn't let it through again. But this raises another issue: if points that have been passed are closed, how will the next signal pass through? For that to happen, the point will have to open up again pretty quickly." Oceaniz explained as the lightning bolt passed through the gates, which went black to indicate it was closed off right after the lightning bolt exited it.

"So, those signals are kind of like me and those gates are clothing stores. They better open up quickly for me." Coco said with a smirk, getting giggles from the other students.

"The world is so much more than clothing, Miss Adel." Winter told her.

"It's also a lot more than being a military stiff, but that's all you seem to care about." Coco countered.

"Shots fired!" Qrow laughed.

A new lightning bolt came from the beginning of the nerve, the nearest gate having its color returned, opening the gate and allowing the signal to pass through. "This means there is an inherent hard limit on how many signals our nerves can send, depending on how long that refractory period is before the points open again. In humans, the shortest refractory period possible is two milliseconds. This means that, at most, we humans can fire 500 signals through a nerve per second." Oceaniz continued as the gates opened in front of the signal and closed behind it as needed, before words at the bottom confirmed what he said, with two milliseconds equaling 500 signals per second.

"Aww, yeah! 500 signals! Go humans!" Ruby cheered, before looking to the raised eyebrows of Blake and Velvet. "B-but I'm sure Faunus are just as good! Probably better!" She declared.

"It's alright, Ruby. You don't have to say we're better. It was just surprising when you first said it like that." Velvet assured her.

"You have my forgiveness for now, Rose." Blake said.

"She's quite serious about this issue, isn't she?" Ironwood asked, a bit intimidated himself.

"That would be an understatement." Ozpin told him.

"Also important to note that this refers to the humans of my world, who have no aura. Yours likely fire off significantly faster." Katana explained.

"This may sound impressive, but it is estimated that the Odogaron's refractory time is shorter, allowing it to fire at least twice as much. How that is chemically possible isn't yet understood. Additionally, it is believed that the synapses of the Odogaron are more generous when determining which neurotransmitters to absorb, quickening that process as well." Oceaniz finally finished the lecture on neurons and synapses for good as the signals were seen moving faster through the gate, as if showing how it worked for Odogaron.

"And yet we still lose to the snaggletooth mutt." Weiss groaned in disappointment.

"So it can get signals faster. Big deal. I bet I can still give it one hell of a manicure and break those claws off!" Yang declared.

"Wouldn't it be a pedicure for them, since those are all feet?" Neo asked, her and Nora finally waking up.

"And do you really want to risk being ANYWHERE near those claws?" Cinder questioned, to which Yang did look hesitant.

"With its overwhelming speed, the Odogaron is already a force to be reckoned with. And thanks to its serrated claws, it can cause severe bleeding that will drain any opponent of their life force. But the true danger of this monster is its tenacity. Thanks to its nose, it can keep track of its prey with remarkable accuracy, which only increases if the target is bleeding. And once it has a target, it will fight and hunt mercilessly, as it is a cruel and cold beast. It will even sometimes go as far as to climb out of the Vale and into the Coral Highlands to hunt and continue fighting. " Oceaniz declared as the Odogaron was shown fighting with the hunter once again, using many more flips and twisting moves.

"Dang! And I thought Zamtrios was determined!" Jaune said in shock.

"To chase its target to a completely new ecosystem... That's just unheard of." Ren stated.

"Cinder... Don't take this the wrong way, but that thing's starting to remind me of you." Emerald said. Cinder thought for a moment and had to admit, she wasn't wrong. So she just nodded.

"However, it is not easy to maintain its position as apex predator. So, should all of its arsenal fail, the Odogaron still has one trick that will allow it to overcome most opponents. As carnivores, Odogaron obviously eat meat. However, they engage in some odd behavior. Often, one can observe an Odogaron carrying a corpse or a chunk of flesh back to its lair instead of eating it right away. If one were to follow it back to the lair, one would find that Odogaron horde most of the meat they find. This behavior seems senseless until one watches what happens when an Odogaron becomes desperate. Should a situation become too much to handle for an Odogaron, it will try to return to its lair, or otherwise find access to meat. Once it devours it, it can seemingly at will, accelerate its metabolism many fold, causing its body to go into overdrive. In this states, its body begins to glow a hot red and steam starts spraying out of its mouth." Oceaniz explained as, like he said an Odogaron ate a chunk of meat and began glowing red with steam billowing from its maw.

"Whoa! That is so cool! All that steam! Oh, wait. That means it's hot!" Nora declared with a smirk.

"And now it's glowing and steaming from the mouth! Evil!" Blake cried out.

"No, that merely indicates it's pushing its body to its absolute limits and beyond." Penny stated with a smile. "Because it's blood is nearly boiling at this stage." She declared ominously.

"Hey, it's not too different from Yang's semblance. She catches on freaking fire!" Coco pointed out.

"During overdrive, all of the Odogaron's physical capabilities are enhanced greatly. Additionally, it is then able to use its true claws more quickly and more accurately, causing it to be much more frequent and aggressive with its bleed causing swipes. However, this overdrive mode is a last resort for a good reason. It cannot be maintained for long. In fact, it is essentially a sprint, relying on frenzied desperation and mere ounces to run. If the monster is forced to stop moving, by a trap for example, it will likely not be able to get back into the fight easily, instead tiring out and remaining lethargic and slow for a period of time." Oceaniz pointed out as the Odogaron suddenly stopped moving and began panting heavily, allowing the hunter to get many hits in on it.

"Aww, he's all tuckered out." Ruby cooed slightly, briefly forgetting how menacing and terrifying the beast was.

"It's like overusing our semblances." Pyrrha realized.

"See, Blake? That doesn't look too evil." Velvet told her, to which Blake just looked away.

"Aww, is Blake-y getting... STEAMED?" Yang asked, everyone groaning except Neo, who just rolled her eyes with a smile.

"Additionally, while the uniquely responsive composition of its neural system makes it dangerous, it's also presenting its greatest weakness. Since its synapses are eager to absorb the neurotransmitters, it's easy for them to absorb any other compounds grouped in with them. Which, for example, includes paralyzing neurotoxins. And sure enough, the co-inhabitant Fanged Wyverns of the Vale, the Girros, have developed exactly such a toxin to fight off Odogaron, who remains twitching and immobilized when exposed to it." Oceaniz added as a small yellow toad released a powerful cloud of neurotoxin, that indeed left Odogaron twitching and immobile.

Cinder winced sympathetically as she watched to Odogaron twitch, reminding her too much of her past life with that damned woman and that shock collar. "Hold on, Odogaron." She told it. She then glared at the toad releasing the cloud. "Damn frogs." She snapped.

Ruby and Emerald held both of her hands at this and Neo put a hand on her shoulder. "I'm sure it can handle it, Cinder. It's strong and determined. Just like you." Emerald told her.

"Still, that's nasty toad if it can stop something like that. We should use one on Mercury." Neo declared, getting laughs from the former villains and even giggles from Yang and Pyrrha, who Mercury continued to annoy. Glynda even had to make it a note that he could no longer challenge Pyrrha, as he had continued to request matches with her, only to forfeit.

"However, the Odogaron is itself, also capable of adaptation." Oceaniz declared, before the striped screen returned, with Odogaron taking center stage again. "During the Legiana migration, which saw large shifts in the population of the New World, a certain number of Odogaron migrated permanently to the Coral Highlands. However, in order to survive and compete efficiently in the newly changed Highlands, which were now occupied by Elder Dragons and fierce predators alike, these Odogaron had to change. And so they evolved into the so far only known subspecies of the Odogaron... The Ebony Odogaron." Oceaniz introduced as a new Odogaron was shown with a dark grey body with black legs and face, red claws and a dark blue tail. It also was noticeably emitting the Dragon Element from its mouth.

Qrow whistled when he saw the Ebony variety. "I'm liking the colors on that one." Qrow said.

"I find it quite fitting as well. It adds to your image as a dusty old crow." Ozpin agreed with a smirk, getting chuckles from the adults and a glare from Qrow.

"Not funny." Qrow grumbled.

"Still, I am quite curious to see how different this version is from the normal Odogaron." Ironwood stated.

"Wait a second. Is that... Dragon element?" Weiss asked worriedly.

"Covered in black and blue scales, this cousin of the main branch is both stronger and more aggressive than the regular Odogaron. These are likely traits they developed in order to fight fiercer opponents. They also have a different lifestyle. While a regular Odogaron will stick to the Rotten Vale with occasional trips to the Coral Highlands, the Ebony Odogaron is a nomad and can appear all over the New World. And thanks to its new abilities, it is a tremendous force no matter where it is encountered. Through some mutation, the Ebony Odogaron is able to tap into Dragon Energy, similar to the Deviljho. It is unclear how exactly it does that, but there is an interesting observation to be made. While its body overflows with Dragon Energy, spewing out of its mouth and skin, the Ebony Odogaron does NOT have the ability to manipulate it in any real way, for example being unable to use breath attacks like Deviljho. The main use for its Dragon Energy seems to be to enhance its physical abilities." Oceaniz explained as the Odogaron subspecies was indeed shown giving off Dragon Energy.

"That sounds dangerously close to Deviljho." Glynda said in concern.

"At least it's nowhere near as large. So it shouldn't have to eat nearly as much." Winter added in relief.

"At least it doesn't have any way to use it, other than strengthening itself." Coco said.

"Which will be very helpful for me, since it'll be on my side." Qrow added, liking the idea of having a creature that could buff itself.

"But nature is cunning and creative. And so, the Ebony Odogaron found a way to circumvent its own innate lack of Dragon control. It may not be able to breathe out the Dragon Energy directly, but by storing chunks of flesh in it mouth, it can infuse them with Dragon Energy. Then, if it needs to inflict Dragon Blight at a distance, it can simply spit said chunk out at its opponent, creating a big fleshy ball of Dragon Energy." Oceaniz completed the list of abilities the subspecies possessed over its regular counterpart as the beast was indeed shown ejecting a ball of flesh surrounded by Dragon Energy from its mouth, causing it to hit the ground and radiate the energy out for a great distance.

"Eww!" Ruby and Weiss cried out.

"I find that very disturbing." Penny declared.

"What do you expect from a demon dog!?" Blake cried out.

"Blake! We get it! You're not a fan of dogs, but chill out. It's not evil just because it's a dog." Emerald told her. That's definitely something they'd have to work on in the future.

"I suppose it's clever for finding out in can do that. And it needed some way to make use of its ability." Pyrrha said, although it's clear she didn't believe her own words.

"That doesn't make it less gross!" Nora declared.

A beautiful forest was then shown after all of this, showing a lovely waterfall deeper inside the forest. "All of this exemplifies nature's never ending drive to survive. The Odogaron is only one part in an endless system that continuously strives to maintain life, through any means necessary. Adaptation and evolution keep working and keep going. And as life keeps on evolving and adapting, we bear witness to the beauty and power of it all." Oceaniz finished beautifully as always as several more awe-inspiring images of nature were shown.

"Oh-ho-ho boy! That is gonna be one fun dog to go hunting with." Qrow said, chuckling. Zwei barked and whimpered, looking up at the former drunk. "Sorry, bud. You're great, too, Zwei. You're man's best friend, but that thing's gonna be my best FIEND." He said.

"It's a little creepy, but still really cool. I love those claws, even if they're scary and sharp-looking." Ruby said.

"I think it's pretty cool. It's fast, agile and can jump around all over the place like you do, uncle Qrow." Yang agreed.

"As long as you keep it away from me, I'll be fine with it." Blake said.

"I suppose it's as fitting for you as any monster would be." Winter said.

"And the ability to strengthen itself with Dragon energy could be quite useful as well." Weiss agreed.

"Something about those colors, I really like, too. I might need an outfit change when we head back to Remnant." Cinder declared, before being picked up and hugged by Coco.

"Finally! I thought you'd never ask! I mean, the dress works, but we're gonna find something that's perfect for you, Cindy." Coco assured her.

"Oh, goodie..." Cinder said unsurely.

"So, down to three now, Qrow. Who are we seeing next?" Katana asked.

"Well, in that case, I've been wondering for quite a while what Glynda's monster would be. What's good enough for Goodwitch?" He asked with a chuckle.

Glynda smiled. "Thank you, Qrow." She said with a nod, which he returned.

"Very well, but before we learn of Glynda's monster, there is another we'll need to learn about for context's sake. Prepare for a monster that will dwarf almost any know Grimm, the Ceadeus." Katana declared. [3]

A/N: Thank you for reading as always! I hope you enjoyed it!

[1] Oh, man. Any semblance of a seating plan has been lost at this point. Just picture anyone sitting anywhere you want them.

[2] Important to remember, this takes place the day after that watched The Avengers, where some important developments will happen.

[3] Hm... It might be close, but who do we think is longer? Ceadeus or the whale Grimm?
