"Oh, you've done so well you two! Great job!"
Juliana praised her new Pokemon, a Delphox and a Cinccino. Delphox responded by using her wand to create a small smiley-face ember on the tip. Juliana was fascinated by this, "Haha! That's so pretty! You have cool abilities, Delphox!"

Cinccino looked over herself and noticed quite a bit of dirt on her fur. She was able to fix that fast with her long fluffy tail and a few quick twirls.

"Cinccino!" She declared perkily after becoming sparkly clean again.

Juliana laughed, "You're so cute, Cinccino! And you're really strong too! Even preforming the move Double-Edge barely does anything to you!"

Terapagos, who had been behind Juliana, watched the two Pokemon with wide eyes. He approached them both with an innocent smile. Delphox and Cinccino quickly noticed the little creature. Delphox wasn't quite sure what to make of him. Cinccino on the other hand, immediately took to cleaning his tiny face, and then his shell.

This amused Juliana, "Ahaha! Cinccino, you really like to clean, don't you?"

Cinccino stood proudly with her front paws on her hips, "Cinccino!"
Terapagos was sparkling a bit more than before. He looked over himself and smiled before yawning.

"Okay, little one. Time for your nap." Juliana replied before recalling Terapagos.

She then turned to Delphox, "You evolved so fast, Delphox! It makes sense, the Pokemon found here are at higher levels." She looked toward the block boundary leading to the Savannah Biome, "Now that I'm thinking about it, Nemona caught a little Rowlet in the same area, and it's already fully evolved too!"

Delphox smiled and resumed making little ember shapes with her magic wand.

"I have to battle her again!" Juliana declared, "But first, I gotta get that special surprise for Arven…" She blushed thinking about it, "Tee hee! I'm getting a little embarrassed now!"

The Pokemon looked at her curiously, and she explained, "We're going to trade Pokemon later. I have this Alcremie that I want to give him! I'm also gonna have her holding a little note. It's gonna be a surprise! I wonder what he plans on trading me."
Delphox grinned widely and used her wand to make a little heart. Juliana noticed and widened her eyes, "Delphox…! Ahaha! I'll have to introduce you guys to my friends soon! I know they've been wanting to meet you both."

"Cinccino!" The gray cleaning Pokemon responded. Delphox kept it cool and nodded in agreement.

Juliana looked at Delphox nervously, "I'm so sorry I thought you were a boy when we first met!"

Delphox put a hand up and shook her head, like she were saying, 'No problem.'

"I guess you're used to it." Juliana figured, "I know your species is much more likely to be male, so I just called you a 'he' until I caught you and learned otherwise. Hehe…"

"Cinccino?" Cinccino inquired.

Juliana explained, "Well Cinccino, if all of them were male then there wouldn't be any! Right? They'd all die out!"

Delphox nodded with her eyes closed.

"Anyway, I'm hungry! Let's go see what the cafeteria has!" Juliana stated, and the two Pokemon agreed.

Once arriving at the cafeteria, Juliana immediately detected the smell of pizza and fries. It got her appetite even more stimulated. But before she could go get in line, she heard a familiar voice call out to her.

"Juliana!"

She turned to see it was none other than her old pal, Perrin. Her face lit up in excitement, "Perrin! Wow, you're still hanging around? That's great!"

Perrin grinned, "You bet, old partner! There's still so much I have to do here."

"Really? Like what?" Juliana asked eagerly.

"I'm keeping it a secret for now." Perrin winked, "But don't worry! I'll be sure to let you in on the fun once I got some more information for ya!"

This got Juliana enthusiastic, "Oh, I bet you've heard something real big that piqued your interest! I can't wait to hear what it is!"

"Haha! I know you'll just go running off the second I tell you!" Perrin teased.

"Aha! Yeah, you're right!" Juliana took notice of her Growlithe and greeted it, "Hey there, Growlithe! How've you been?"

"Ruff, ruff!" Growlithe responded, happy to see Juliana.

"He's been doing so great! You know, he really likes your scent. Make sure whenever you see me, you say hi to him too!"

"Of course I will! Oh, Perrin! How did the school like the photos you took? I bet they loved them!"

"They did!" Perrin replied, "They'll be featured in promotional pictures for the school! This place is really a photographer's dream come true. Seriously, you can stroll from an icy mountain to a tropical island in no time flat! It's hard to believe sometimes that we're under the sea. Anyway, thanks again for your help Juliana!"

"Of course!" Juliana nodded, "So, are you here for lunch too?"

"Yup! Even a photographer like myself has to take a lunch break! I'm thinking of trying that academy special."

"That sounds like a great idea! I'll get one too and we can try it together!" Juliana suggested.

Perrin agreed, "All right, let's go! Hurry, before the line gets too long!"

As the two waited in line, Juliana let her mind roam a bit, "Tee hee! I can't wait to give Arvie the surprise! I hope he's gonna love the Alcremie…"

Once they got their meals, they found a spot to sit down, ready to dig in. Juliana was amazed at the variety in this dish. A chicken bowl with noodles and vegetables, fries with mustard and ketchup drizzled on, a donut topped with custard pudding, and a side of jellybeans. Truly this looked like the dish of dreams. Paid for with BP of course.

Juliana commented, "Wow, Director Cyrano really spared no expense with this one, huh?"

Perrin was already chowing down, "It's amazing! Come on, Juliana, try it!"

Juliana laughed, "Okay, okay! Slow down or you're gonna choke!"

Perrin was right to be so excited, the meal was great. It was like nothing either girl had ever tried before. With how amazing the dish was, Juliana was surprised at how little it truly cost to order one.

"How are you liking those meals, girls?" It was the man himself, Director Cyrano.

Juliana hastily swallowed her bite, "Director Cyrano! Where did you come from?"

"Hey Director, what's up?" Perrin greeted with a napkin covering her mouth.

Cyrano let out a hardy laugh, "I'm everywhere Juliana! This is my school after all! So, how do you like the meal? I picked out each of the ingredients myself!"

"It's amazing!" Juliana complimented, "You really put a lot of thought into this one, sir!"

Cyrano grinned, "I'm happy to hear that Juliana! To be honest, I was nervous when first creating this dish, I didn't know if it would be too much! But I'm relieved to gain approval from the Blueberry Queen herself!"

Perrin spat out the jellybeans she had just put in her mouth, "Blueberry Queen!?"
This made Juliana and Cyrano start laughing again.

"Well, I better get going!" Cyrano removed his hat, "I have to meet up with my old friend, Director Clavell! He'll be arriving soon!"

Juliana bid with a wave, "See you later, Director Cyrano!"

With that, he tipped his hat and left the room with the dozens of students watching his every move. Perrin turned to Juliana, "You sure have a lot of people from your end coming here, huh Juliana?"

"That's right!" Juliana affirmed, "It's great to be able to do that. Plus, everyone likes being here!"

Perrin nodded, "You sure like to make a party everywhere you go. So, what are your plans now?"

"Right now? After eating, I was gonna go to the League club room to see who's there. What about you?"

"Taking more pictures of course!" Perrin gave a thumbs-up, "I might even catch you in action! Don't worry, you won't even know I'm nearby!"

This made Juliana giggle nervously and the two finished their meals. After cleaning up, the two went back out into the hallway.

"Well, I'll be letting you go to the League club room. I'm gonna head out for photos! See you later!"

"Bye Perrin! It was so good seeing you!"

"Ruff, ruff!" Growlithe bid farewell before the two walked in opposite directions.

At the League club room, the bug-type specialist and baker, Katy, admired the look of the room, "I love the décor! So wonderful and inviting!"

Professor Saguaro agreed with her, "It sure is! Although I can't help but think this is a bit different than what I saw in an ad…"

Katy lit up, "Oh, if it isn't my favorite customer! Mr. Saguaro! I just adore that lovely apron of yours!"

Saguaro was elated, "Thank you Katy! It's my pride and joy. I spent a lot of time getting Jigglypuff's face just right."

"And your arms! They're so big! You must be a fiend with a whisk!"

Saguaro was starting to feel a little uneasy, "I er, I've always put on muscle easily… Is this going somewhere?"

Katy chuckled, "You should come by the Patisserie Soapberry and put those muscles to use!"

Saguaro was unsure, "Oh Katy, I don't know if I…"

Katy interrupted in a teasing tone, "The employees get to eat the sweets for free~!"

This got him to light up, "Free sweets!? Oh my, now you're really tempting me! But alas, I must decline, I have my Academy duties taking much of my time!"

Juliana suddenly popped up beside them, "Hey you guys!"
Both adults reacted with a surprise yelp.

Katy blurted, "Juliana! My dear, where on earth did you come from!?"

"You gave me quite a start, Juliana!" Saguaro responded.

Juliana smiled sweetly, "Sorry…! I was just having a little fun, that's all!"

Saguaro was understanding, "It's okay, Juliana. So, what brings you here?"

"Oh, I didn't tell you? I'm taking a semester here!"

That's when he remembered, "Oh that's right! Arven is doing the same thing! Ah, yes, he did tell me that."

Katy giggled, "She's the one that invited us too! Tee hee! I think it's high time we taught this academy how lovely Bug-type Pokemon are!"

The door flying open caught everyone's attention. Kieran and Carmine stood at the door.

"Make way, we're coming in!" Carmine announced, immediately noticing Juliana.

"Ha! So here's where you went hiding Juliana! Got tired of training already?" She smiled mischievously, "Gotta say, I thought you had a little more steam in you than that!"

"Sis…" Kieran muttered.

Juliana shrugged with a grin, "Well, what can I say? I got hungry…"

Carmine rolled her eyes, "Of course you did." She then noticed Katy and Saguaro, "So you two must be the special coaches we've been having here! Juliana called you guys here, huh?"

Katy affirmed, "That's right! My name is Katy, and I am the owner of the Patisserie Soapberry in the Paldea region! But I'm not here as a patissier, I'm here as a Gym Leader!"

"A gym leader? That must mean you're a toughie in battle!" Carmine stated.

Juliana explained, "You see, Katy here is the first gym leader that all trainer's in Paldea challenge!"

Katy nodded, "The Cortondo Gym is close to the academy, so many young Trainers just starting out like to go there first. Because of that, the Chairwoman always asks me to go easy on trainers, like a nice, soft sponge cake."

Carmine chuckled, "I see. I bet Juliana here had a real easy time with you with how crazy she is."

Juliana retorted, "H-Hey that's not true! The first time I battled her I lost! And I didn't just lose, I flopped!"

This caught the attention of both siblings. Carmine couldn't believe it, "Wha…what!? You?"

Kieran inquired, "So, what happened exactly?"

Juliana giggled, "Well, it was my first gym battle ever. So I didn't have any confidence at all. I completely froze up and couldn't think straight! Because of that, I ended up losing…"

Katy backed this up, "I remember that."

Carmine sputtered out a quiet laugh, "Wow, I never would've guessed. If that were me, I probably would've died from embarrassment and given up."

"Lay off sis!" Kieran scolded, "She was new at the time!"

This got Carmine flustered, "H-Hey, I'm glad she didn't give up! Because then we would have never met! But don't get the wrong idea okay!? I still need to give you a whooping, Juliana!"

Saguaro chuckled, "Quite an interesting set of friends you've made, Juliana."

Juliana grinned, "They're both a little crazy." She then muttered and pointed at Carmine, "Especially this one." Before looking her in the eye and sticking her tongue out playfully.

Carmine turned red, "H-HEY! Okay, now you're really asking for it!"

Juliana hopped from excitement, "Gotta catch me to kill me!" She then lightly poked Carmine in the nose, "Tag, you're it!" Then broke into a full-blown sprint out the door.

"You little-!" Carmine shouted, "GET BACK HERE!" Before taking off after her.

Kieran rushed out after them, "Run Juliana!" He shouted before losing sight of them.

Katy and Saguaro watched, fully entertained before Katy inquired, "So, can I count on you Mr. Saguaro? I have all your favorite flavors!"

Saguaro sighed, "You really know me so well…"
