Everything was black as Rage began to speak with an ominous echo. "He's coming... And he's hungry... He's coming! And he's hungry! HE'S COMING! AND HE'S HUNGRY! Pray to your Gog if you think it will help... Your doom encroaches..." He announced as a black mist was seen at the edges of a large siege fortress as a Huntress ran to the edge. From there, several short glimpses of a massive creature moving through the black mist could be seen, before a powerful roar was heard.

To say the least, the ominous opening had Ruby, Velvet and Neo spooked. "What is that thing?! I can't tell and that makes it even creepier!" Ruby said fearfully.

"All I know is, whatever it is, it's huge!" Neo said, clinging to Yang AND Roman tightly.

"And why is it making black mist like that? Please tell me it doesn't have the frenzy like Gore Magala." Velvet pleaded.

"Nope. That's something else. Although, it's probably not that much better than the frenzy." Razara told them, making them dread whatever it could be.

"Anything has to be better than the Frenzy Virus." Jaune said, although he hardly seemed certain.

The edge of the fortress was shown again as a very massive and spiky was seen moving past it. "Let me introduce you then, my fellow hunters, to Gogmazios. Whether you love him or hate him, you must praise him, for he is your Lord Gog and Savior!" Rage declared as a large spike came out of the mist, the screen brightening up a bit as an angelic choir was heard, before the monster began to attack the fortress, almost hitting the Huntress. "My joint second-favorite monster and, in my opinion, the best HUGE monster fight amongst any of the massive monsters. Despite his scale, his terrifying visage, the ebony black shell, the six wicked limbs, his colossal fury, he still feels like a personal encounter, still feels like he really fights you, it's a one-on-one, the ballet of death that every hunter craves." Rage explained as all the while, the creature rose up and came crashing down where the Huntress stood, causing her to jump to the ground to safety, before the monster lowered itself from the wall, dropping down and dispersing the mist, finally revealing its true form.

The dragon looked at the huntress before him and opened his mouth. "Yeah!" He declared, his head moving forward and back as he opened his mouth as if he actually just spoke.

A few of them were rather skeptical when Rage referred to Gog as their lord and savior. "Then I wanna commit heresy and repent!" Emerald fired back.

"Certainly not what I'd picture as a savior." Hazel agreed.

"Oh, great. ANOTHER monster people call a god. What are the odds?" Yang said sarcastically, rolling her eyes hard at the mention of yet another "God" monster.

Then, once they could clearly see the creature, they noticed large globs of a black substance dripping off it. "Eww! What is that black gunk falling off it!?" Ilia cried out in disgust.

"Be patient, everyone. You'll find out soon." Katana assured them.

"You know, it's always annoying when you do that." Ren told her.

"I know." Katana said proudly.

The Huntress, along with several other hunters, then engaged the monster. "Gogmazios then, or the Giant Halberd Dragon, named such after his head, that bears the shape of the aforementioned weapon, has an interesting diet. He said no to plants, he said no to meat! And then he looked at gunpowder and went-" Rage began to explain as the images of a tree branch full of leaves was shown, before being put in a crossed out circle with a buzzer sound effect, the same thing happening to a picture of a family of Aptonoth.

Suddenly, the image of a man in historical clothing was shown with Gogmazios' head going closer to him. "~And IIIIIII~ Will always love yooouuu~" A female voice sang before the scene was cut with a test pattern.

"Well, at least it doesn't eat meat, so we don't have to worry about being its snack." Summer said to lighten the mood a bit.

Still, they were rather curious when they heard the word "gunpowder", however. Some getting more... extreme ideas. "Gunpowder? What's that? Ooh, is it a powder that turns into a gun?!" Nora asked excitedly.

"No, Nora. As impressive as some of our tech is, it's still not magic. Gunpowder is a highly flammable black powder made out of Sulfur and Saltpeter that is basically our alternative to Dust when it comes to propelling bullets. Or, we used to, anyway. We've upgraded now, but in a nutshell, Gogmazios is eating a super flammable powder we used to shoot bullets." The demon mother explained.

"WHAT?!" All the intellectuals, especially Winter and Glynda, all cried out in shock.

"B-but that's impossible! Sulfur and Saltpeter are both toxic in high doses! Eating a substance made from that would kill just about anyone through kidney failure and causing death in brain cells!" Glynda said in shock.

"Not to mention, if it's flammable or explosive, it should ignite and explode Gogmazios from the inside as soon as it hits its stomach acid! And even if it didn't, it would be burned away in an instant, so there's no way it could get nutrition from it!" Winter added.

"Man. I knew my drinking was bad for me, but even I wasn't this self-destructive." Qrow said in shock.

"Who, exactly was that they were showing?" Ironwood asked.

"I believe that's the Emperor of a nation in our world, China. The emperor during the 9th century commissioned a group of alchemists to create an 'immortality potion' and they came up with a highly flammable powder. They called it 'Fire Medicine', but then discovered that it did the exact opposite of preserving life, so they weaponized it and now it's what we use to shoot bullets... and fireworks. So, what was meant to be an immortality potion has been used to kill people for over a thousand years now." Katana explained. [1]

"That's a shame it was used to kill other people." Pyrrha said sadly, earning nods of agreement from Ruby, Velvet, Yang and Penny.

"Indeed. Surely there had to have been better applications for it, especially if it was intended as a medicine at first." Penny agreed.

"It's unfortunate, but also understandable, students. Living beings are always looking for advantages in combat to reduce the risk to their own lives. We do the same: even if Dust is primarily used on the Grimm, we still have to turn it against our fellow man at times, such as fighting against bandits or other criminals. And clearly, there is much more conflict in Katana's world between humans than there is in our world." Ozpin reminded them.

"Hey, whatever makes more explosions and chaos, I'm all for it!" Roman said.

"Yeah! That's awesome that they use it in fireworks!" Nora cheered.

The fight with the monster was shown once again as a pixelated image of a black powder was shown, before a green check mark was put over it with a ding noise. "'Yeah, that seems alright, I'll have that. I'll have that.'" Rage said as if he was speaking as Gogmazios while a pair of hunters narrowly avoided being crushed by its tail. "More accurately Sulfur, but not found in large enough volumes in nature to fully sustain him, this causes Gogmazios to perpetually seek out, assault and destroy human fortifications to gorge himself silly on the gunpowder stores. Now, eating gunpowder is a little bit on the um... toxic side of things, so his body is able to absorb the Sulfur and is able to get rid of the impurities, the waste via essentially sweating it out. And this comes in the form of essentially sweating it out. And this comes in the form of THICK, GOOEY, STICKY TAR. It POURS from him. Like a waterfall of-" Rage began, groaning in disgust. "But not just a byproduct of a diet, it doubles up as his most deadly weapon." Rage explained as the hunters climbed the fortress to get to safety.

They were already a bit disturbed when they heard that the monster eats a toxic powder, but learning that its black ooze is the gunpowder sweated into tar, many of them were disgusted once again. Cinder groaned at this. "I remember sometimes the Madam made me fix damages in the basement or roof with tar. The smell clung to me for months. That helped keep hotel guests far away from me so they didn't notice her mistreatment of me." She said, almost tearing up from the memory.

"We had to work with it in the Schnee mines to fuel the heaters we used, also. It smelled like death." Adam said, tightening his fist.

However, none were more grossed out then Weiss. "I think I'd rather take my chances with a Almudron." Weiss said with a shutter.

"Oh, now you have no issues with the mud leviathan?" Blake questioned.

"HEY! Mud doesn't stain nearly as bad as black tar!" The heiress defended herself.

"Yeah, I don't want that crap anywhere near my hair!" Yang agreed.

"No way, no how. My clothes would be ruined FOREVER." Coco said, shuddering at the thought of the tar splashing on her designer clothes.

The hunters were then shown attacking Gogmazios' tail. "When receiving a blow, it is softened greatly by squelching into thick layers of tar. Yep! Radobaan, you're a dirty thief!" Rage declared as a Radobaan was seen rolling through the Rotten Vale, accompanied by the jeers and boo's of an angry crowd. It then returned to the fight with Gog. "And on the attack- well... Ha ha. It's incredibly adhesive. If you walk into a pool of it, it's just gonna glob onto you, restrict your movement and make you helpless before him as his huge jaw comes crunching down. It also, as a byproduct of covering him, consistently picks up myriads of random weaponry, objects, treasure... corpses, he is just a walking flytrap to everything around him. You can find all sorts of fanciful little doodads and trinkets, by going tar-diving in goo piles." Rage pointed out as Gogmazios slammed down on the fortress.

Suddenly, everything went dark for a moment. "Disclaimer: I take no responsibility for any harm or injuries caused by tar diving in goo piles. Thank you." Rage issued a quick disclaimer with his voice sped up to quicken the disclaimer.

After Rage's disclaimer, Ruby couldn't help but snort at the delivery, turning into a full-on laugh. She then turned to Weiss. "He sounded just like how you gave me that SDC brochure." She giggled.

"Oh, yeah. I heard a bit of that. After a while, it did sound like you were talking in fast-forward, but I think that was me getting tripped up with the big words." Jaune said.

Weiss rolled her eyes at this. "Probably because you're BOTH dunces." She told them.

"What kind of idiot would go diving in tar?" Hazel demanded.

"Hey, he said there's probably treasure in that tar! Get me a snorkel and I'll dive right in!" Roman said with Lien signs in his eyes. Neo facepalmed at this.

The hunters then fled a safe distance away as Gogmazios trashed wildly. "Hell, A few have even had a Dragonator- A WHOLE. FUNCTIONING Dragonator stuck to backs from previous, successful decimation of a human stronghold. In fact, if a Gogmazios ever shows up with one, there's a good chance you can break it off them mid-fight to land on the ground, triggering its firing mechanism and get in a sneaky little extra bit of Dragonating. It's really quite badass every time it does happen. Imagine the Commander seeing that!" Rage laughed at the idea.

Suddenly, the Commander was shown facing some kind of fiery warzone, before turning around. "Where's my-" He began, before the sound of a record scratching was heard and the Commander stopped dead in his tracks, before Gogmazios was shown letting out a roar of fury. It then cut back and forth between the roaring monster and the Commander stood unmoving with the sound of crickets in the background several times, before a superimposed mouth over the Commander's own mouth made it look like he was screaming.

Several students couldn't help but laugh at this. "To be fair, that's got to be an unnerving sight, to see one of your people's best weapons stuck on a monster's back." Blake defended the Commander.

Ren sighed. "I can attest to this. The Nucklavee that destroyed my village had the best hunters of my village scared stiff after seeing so many arrows, spears and swords stuck in the torso of the horseman part of it." He confessed.

Ruby will also go gaga at the fact that there's a functional Dragonator on Gog's back.

"I'm more surprised that it's still functional even after being ripped out from the fortress it was in." Ironwood said.

"By all accounts, it shouldn't. Katana told us earlier Dragonators are launched by highly pressurized steam, so simply falling shouldn't trigger it to go off." Penny pointed out.

"Well, they've been trying newer spring-loaded mechanisms, so maybe that's it." Tekko came up with an excuse.

"If that's the case, I'd say the mechanism works a little too well if it shoots even after its been ripped from place." Winter said, a bit shocked at the prospect.

"Man, that dragon's got worse luck than me. First, get a giant spear stuck on your back, then it fires and shoots you when you DO get it off." Qrow said, shaking his head.

Back in the fight, Gog spun in a 360, forcing the hunter to block strikes from its passing wing-arm and tail. "And look- At this point, I accept that you might be thinking 'I mean that's neat, right? But is that really that threatening, I mean- he's an Elder Dragon.' Well firstly, I wanna really stress the size: he is longer than two blue whales back-to-back, with more than the bulk to go with that." Rage explained as the image of a Blue Whale compared to a diver slowly moved across the screen, with their exact sizes added to boot. "His physical strength is MIGHTY, smashing fortresses aside, he can wade through rock like water. Even a glancing blow can turn a hunter into paste." The host added as a disturbing squish noise was heard while the hunter attacked from underneath Gogmazios.

Yang whistled at this. "Whoa. I mean, I can see he's huge, but longer than TWO whales? That's just bonkers. At least Dalamadur was a snake, so it made sense for him to be super long." She said.

Everyone gulped at the idea of being turned into paste. "Even the strongest of auras could only take one or two hits from something that powerful." Glynda said worriedly.

"I don't want to get turned to paste." Velvet said fearfully, clinging to Coco.

"It's alright, Bun-Bun. It's not gonna happen. You and I can mow it down from up on the tower, out of danger." Coco assured her.

"Sorry to ruin your theory, Coco, but it looks pretty clear Gogmazios can reach the top of the fortress where the hunters started from." Pyrrha pointed out.

"Nowhere is safe from Gogmazios!" Nora declared dramatically.

"Why are you saying that like it's the best thing ever?" Ilia questioned.

The hunter then scaled the fortress once again to get the high ground. "But, I'll stop beating around the tar. For this oily substance pouring off his mighty frame... Well, it's got a fun little hidden extra. It's HIGHLY flammable explosive. Yep! Which means, when Gogmazios enters his Enraged state, when he is pushed too far, backed into a corner... Ooh, his inner furnace lights up." Rage declared as the creature let out a roar of fury. "A blazing star! The heat emanating off of him unbearable, sweltering, armor-melting! The flames of fury within superheating the oily substance surrounding him until steam billows off and it's enough for it to catch fire and ignite! This means he's consistently drip-dropping splotches that will land upon the ground, churn and roil and pop! In an explosive, scalding shower of oil! The force tremendous, the after affects scarring for life, assuming you even survive. You don't want to get suddenly sprayed with oil that hot. Being near him at this point, a danger in the highest degree, a veritable rain pour of explosive oil hitting the ground all around you. It's time to get the hell out." Rage warned direly as the hunters desperately tried to avoid the oil dripping off the beast and the puddles nearby.

When they heard of the burning oil of the enraged state, several members of the audience cringed. "Burning oil. One of the worst ways to go. I should know, Salem once killed me with such a method during one of my many lives." Ozpin said.

"I've heard news articles about incidents like that. People burned alive after being covered in it." Summer said, shuddering.

"And if it doesn't kill you, you can be disfigured for life, or left with third degree burns that are always in constant pain." Cinder added knowingly, shivering at this knowledge and how it could've happened to her if she had messed up the tasks the Madam gave her.

Adam growled at this. "I've heard stories back during the War where people poured boiling oil on the Faunus and then lit it on fire to ignite the ones who weren't burnt by the oil." Adam said.

"No one should have to go through that." Neo said, feeling ill at the thought.

"Okay, Rage is OFFICIALLY insane if he actually thinks THIS thing is anybody's lord and savior." Emerald said incredulously.

The hunters got caught in a few puddles of oil as Gogmazios raged back and forth. "For then, Gogmazios reveals his final little trump card. And look- let me get this across" Rage began, before showing an incredible piece of Gogmazios artwork, showing the true intimidation factor of the beast. "This beautiful artwork is a fantastic way of showing you just how- Oh, look at him! Is it not intimidatingly badass!? The six limbs looks like an extra pair of arms, giving him an extra bit of agility and combat prowess, allowing him to be in more places at once... I mean- Well... Vegeta!" Rage gushed over the artwork, before calling for a familiar Saiyan prince.

Vegeta's familiar scream of amazement was heard. "OH, MY GOD! HE'S SO GODDAMN COOL!" The Saiyan prince declared loud and unashamed as the camera zoomed in and backed out at different points to emphasize the scream and show off the creature's burning red eye.

The group found themselves quite impressed when they saw the artwork of the beast. "Whoa! That is cool!" Jaune said.

"It's kind of creepy, but epic at the same time!" Ruby agreed in awe.

"It looks like it's made out of darkness." Blake said, intrigued.

"Which makes it awesome!" Yang said.

"You and your sister's definition of awesome leaves A LOT to be desired." Weiss said, a bit disturbed.

"I don't know, I'm with Vegeta, that thing is pretty freaking cool." Ilia said.

"Yeah, what Dad said!" Tekko cheered.

The fight was then shown once again. "But! The catch is... the surprise, the plot twist... is the fact that Gogmazios it the largest FLYING-" Rage began, before the creature suddenly took to the air and began flying over the hunters and the fortress. "Monster. Able to deploy wings from its extended forelimbs, it can beat with immense force, coupled with hollow bones lightening his frame, he can darken his sky with his shadow, the force of air from every blow pressing hunters to ground, he is a veritable warship aloft upon the currents. It is a sight to behold." Rage declared as the beast soared around over the battlefield, raining its tar down upon them, before finally landing once again.

And when they see it fly, everyone is really taken off guard as they didn't see any wing skin on its sixth pair of limbs.

After seeing such bulking dragon suddenly take flight, everyone's jaws hit the floor and they were left speechless for a good couple of minutes. When they were able to finally speak again, they still were struggling to process what they saw. "I can't believe it! Something that huge able to actually fly around like that!?" Pyrrha cried out.

"How?! It doesn't seem possible. I didn't even see any membrane on its wings to catch the air and let it fly!" Ren said in shock.

"Even if it does have a membrane to fly with, it should be WAY to heavy to take off, especially with a Dragonator and all that tar on its back." Ironwood said.

The beast then continued its rampage on the ground. "And when airborne, when the furnace within is lit... When that sad little face that appears underneath his chin, because it lights up like two eyes in an unhappy frown, it's just like 'I don't wanna be on fire!' I adore it." Rage laughed as he showed the frowning face underneath the chin of the beast.

Then, they saw the frowny face under the chin, many of the teens bursting out in laughing. "It's got a sad face on its chin!" Ruby cried out, kicking her legs in laughter.

"Well, there goes all that badassery it just built up." Qrow said.

"It can fly and shoot beams of exploding oil. I'd say that's still pretty badass!" Yang argued. "But I can't lie, that face is ridiculous." She admitted.

Neo giggled and poked Roman's side. "It looks like you whenever Ruby messed up one of your plans." She laughed.

"Ha ha. Very funny, brat." He said sarcastically.

"That's... almost kind of cute." Velvet said, smiling a bit.

"Pretty out of place on a big, freaky monster like that, but yeah. Still kind of funny." Coco admitted.

"Too bad that's not his actual face. He'd be a lot less creepy." Emerald said.

"But then no one would take it seriously, which would likely end up being fatal." Winter pointed out.

Tense, epic music then began to plays as the hunters continued to attack the monster. "But, while airborne, towering lofty above all, he can unleash his most potent attack, a LEGENDARY attack that has imprinted itself on history. His superheated beam of oil. This is devastating, one of the most damaging attacks of any monster, it is catastrophic to get hit. It has everybody 'Go! Run! Save yourselves!' As soon as this attack winds up, it goes EVERYWHERE!" Rage declared as even more epic music began to play as the creature did indeed shoot an orange-hot beam of oil all around on the battlefield below it, leaving behind smudges of oil that soon exploded, creating an even greater hazard as the hunters struggled to evade the attack.

"I guess that's a better explanation than nothing." Cinder accepted that the membrane was held down by the tar.

"And if its bones are indeed hollow, that should actually make it light enough for wings that large to get it off the ground." Penny agreed.

"Especially if they are as powerful as Rage said." Glynda added.

"But look at that epic laser!" Nora cried out.

"Epic... Until you're getting exploded and burned by superheated oil." Hazel said.

Gogmazios was shown back on the ground, before shooting a strafing, horizontal beam of non-superheated oil at a hunter, who dove to avoid it. "The definition of terrifyingly beautal- BEAUTAL!" Rage began, before realizing his mistake and cracking up over it, before a test pattern was shown.

Many laughed at this slip-up, but said nothing else.

The hunters all rushed back in to attack the monster again. "The definition of terrifyingly beautiful. Seriously, this move is imprinted upon veterans of all shapes and sizes. No one forgets getting hit by the oil cannon. Seriously, there's a reason this exists." Rage told of the beam's infamous legacy, before a clip of a strange bug man was shown as a red source of energy appeared to be in front of him. This creature could only begin to scream, before a massive explosion occurred, destroying the being's entire upper body, with a couple of text boxes reading "Cell has fainted" and "Reward decreased to 0z".

Everyone was shocked at the annihilation of the bug creature. "Ooh, that guy got wrecked, BIG TIME." Neo said.

"If you can call that a guy. Who was that, exactly?" Adam asked.

"Cell. He's from the same world as Vegeta. He was a Bio-Android created to be the ultimate being, made from the DNA of all the greatest fighters of Earth, plus some from an evil alien tyrant named Frieza. And he was strong enough to obliterate Solar Systems. And he could regenerate from a single cell, so that attack didn't kill him. But, in this instance, he is essentially in the place of a human being hit by that attack, which would definitely be fatal." Katana explained.

"What does that mean, reward decreased to zero?" Roman asked.

"Well, if you get knocked out or injured by a monster during a hunt, money will be taken from the reward for the hunt and be put towards your medical care after the hunt, so if you get too banged up, you won't make any money from the hunt because it would all go towards medical expenses." Razara explained.

"Do your hunters not get medical insurance or anything?" Summer asked. The demons simply shook their heads at this. "Wow, suddenly that job is A LOT less desirable." She said.

The hunters retreated to a safe distance once again as Gogmazios fired yet another beam. "Now admittedly, it is a rare flyer, the oil generally hardens and sticks its wings down, which is why it looks like it doesn't have any. But when forced to enrage, to heat up, it melts it, freeing its wings and this is an incredibly rare occurrence. It's also a great amount of effort for it to get its bulk off the ground, so it is definitely a desperation move, but- oh! Isn't it ever so impressive?" Rage asked as Gogmazios charged forward, rose up to its hindlegs and slammed down onto the tower once again.

"Terrifying, but definitely impressive." Emerald said.

"I can't think of any Grimm that would be able to stand up to such an attack." Adam said.

"Too bad we don't have any Sulfur lying around to convince it to fight for us." Jaune said.

A Dragonator then came out and rammed into Gogmazios, causing it to fall to its side. "I love Gogmazios. I think his appearance is wicked, both in the evil sense and the wicked!" Rage told of his love for the beast, before laughing at his cringe joke. "I think his spines, the color of his shell, his extra limbs... he looks mysterious, otherworldly, this shadowy dragon- colossal in nature, encroaching on a fortress. Imagine being on patrol one day and seeing this sickly death making its way towards you, not knowing what the hell you're looking at, ringing the alarm and bringing hunters in." Rage explained as the hunters continued to try and get to the best positions they could while avoiding Gogmazios' attacks.

"That would be epic and terrifying at the same time." Yang said.

"Only you would think getting charged by that thing would be epic." Neo said, rolling her eyes.

"Fortunately, I would likely be able to spot one from great distances away while on patrol for Atlas." Penny said.

"Yeah, kind of doubt you'll be seeing many of those in Atlas, kid. That tar would freeze and they'd become statues." Qrow pointed out.

Suddenly, sad music began to play as the fight continued. "And the thing is, it's almost poetically sad. The cause for conflict is just so... pure. Gogmazios hibernates for years and years, sometimes decades- theorized in the swamp, but nobody knows- these creatures are incredibly rare. They're not bloodthirsty, they're not aggressive, they're not going out of their way to murderize. They wake up and they just want food! They're hungry, it's understandable!" Rage explained, sounding somewhat heartbroken as he explained the reason for conflict with the monster in a different light, as the monster itself took flight and rained down its oil once again.

This gave everyone a moment of pause. "That's right... I almost forgot this was all about food for Gogmazios." Jaune said.

"Yeah. It's just trying to eat, but they have to kill it for that." Ruby said, immediately feeling bad for the monster.

"It's not fair. Everything needs food, especially something that massive." Yang agreed with her sister.

"Right. If anything, it's the human's bad luck they made a weapon out of the beast's only food source." Summer added.

"It looks so terrifying... Almost evil, but despite that, it's only hungry." Weiss said, also feeling bad for harshly judging the beast.

A short while later, they managed to bring the creature to its side on the ground with a barrage of explosive ammunition. "The basic instinct, the drive to survive and eat forces it onwards to raid gunpowder stores, as the Sulfur it can find is simply not enough to sustain it, but the humans can't just be like 'Have at it, mate! Honestly, free all you can eat explosive buffet!' Because the loss of life, the loss of resource is simply too heavy, so we're forced to fight, preventing this majestic creature that, while absolutely frightening, is still an animal, looking to do what animal do, we have to put it down. The conflict cause is so... silly! In another life, in another circumstance, we could wave it on by, live somewhat harmoniously despite its Elder Dragon status." Rage pointed out as the creature got back to its feet.

At this point, any fear or intimidation was replaced with sadness and feeling sorry for the beast. "It really is a shame. It only has one food source, but that one food source is something people desperately need." Pyrrha said sadly.

"There has to be some kind of compromise, isn't there? Like, they must be able to spare SOME gunpowder for it." Velvet said desperately.

"With the amount something that massive has to eat, I sincerely doubt it. It's a shame, but I don't see a way to feed it without running out of gunpowder." Ironwood said, even the serious and pragmatic general feeling sympathy for the creature.

"Unfortunately, that's sometimes how nature is, one side must die so that the other may live. We've seen this with Dalamadur and Lao Shan Lung as well." Ozpin admitted, lowering his head at the unwinnable situation.

Gogmazios then began to fire more beams of super hot oil. "Hell, I'm not sure why they never thought about just putting up loads of gunpowder in a little supply outside the fortress. Then again, that might lure it back repeatedly and when it runs out, it would attack and also that would mean sacrificing the gunpowder anyway, which is what you're wanting to stop. It just seems like a waste to kill him, right? I just think there's something bittersweet about it." Rage explained sadly as the Gogmazios was knocked down again after more of a struggle.

"It's a starving animal that needs its fill to survive. I know that better than anyone." Emerald said, remembering how she used to scrape together any food she could find on the streets, or stealing money for food, not knowing if I'd get caught or if it would be enough. My next meal was never certain. I feel for the big guy." She said sadly.

"I'm just amazed it puts up with all that punishment to try and get the gunpowder the fortresses have. Don't predators give up if they take too much damage or they think the risk isn't worth it?" Penny questioned.

"Hunger is an insane driving force. Trust me, I know. I used to eat scraps from hotel guests and I worked as hard as I could to get back to those scraps whenever someone was done with them. If you're hungry enough, you'll do anything. And fortresses are the only place Gogmazios will find enough food to fill itself. So, yeah... It makes sense it wouldn't run." Cinder said.

"It makes me wonder what we'd do. We don't have gunpowder on Remnant, so would it go for Dust, instead?" Ren questioned.

"And what would happen if they did eat Dust? Would that change the kind of tar they sweat? The last thing we need would be a giant monster dropping elemental tar everywhere." Coco wondered.

"But if it did eat Dust, that would undoubtedly lead us into conflict against the creature as well." Winter pointed out.

"Well, are there any volcanoes on Remnant?" Katana asked.

"A few, yes." Glynda confirmed.

"Then it should be fine. Volcanoes are excellent sources of Sulfur, so there should be enough there to feed Gogmazios. Especially since you guys don't use it for gunpowder." The hostess said. [2]

"Well, I think you guys know what to do by now?" Katana said, clearly requesting their final thoughts on the monster.

"It was really cool! I like that it's not actually aggressive despite how horrible its tar can be." Ruby said.

"And the frowny face under its chin is still hilarious." Nora giggled.

"Still, it's a shame that they only come into conflict with humans because they both need gunpowder." Pyrrha said sadly.

"Good thing we don't need it." Velvet stated.

"As horrible as it is to get covered in burning oil or tar, it's attacks are really incredible." Cinder added.

"And I'd still love to snatch up any goodies that happens to fall out of all that tar." Roman declared.

"So, what's next?" Ilia asked.

"And please not another giant Elder. I don't think my brain can process anymore." Ren pleaded.

"Well, there is one more pair of giant Elder Dragons, but we'll learn about them later. For now, my brother made another lore about that chameleon frog bird in the Ancient Forest you saw fight a Tobi in his Tobi-Kadachi lore." Katana explained.

"That creepy thing? I think I'd rather have the giant Elder Dragons." Emerald groaned.

"Oh, come on. Pukei-Pukei isn't that bad. He's actually kind of fun once you get used to him." Tekko told them.

"Exactly. So, all of you sit back and behold the grace and craziness of the Poison Bewitching Bird, Pukei-Pukei." Razara declared as she started the next episode.

A/N: Yep. Sai has made another lore video, this time on Pukei-Pukei. The video is "The Birdie Bully! Pukei-Pukei Lore" on his channel, Sai Blade. Check out the video and subscribe if you haven't. He puts in good work on these lores, it should be rewarded.

[1] I'm sorry if that isn't the Emperor and if it's not, I have no clue who it is. I looked up everything related to the creation of gunpowder and even checked a lot of the comments on the video in case someone knew who the guy was, but found nothing. But the information I DID provide is accurate.

[2] This was always strange to me: Monster Hunter has a few different volcanic biomes across the games and volcanoes are where the largest deposits of Sulfur in our world are, so you'd think that with a number of different volcanic areas, there should be more than enough Sulfur that they don't need to go after human settlements. I don't know, maybe I'm overthinking it, what do you guys think?
