Bombs Away! Chapter 14: Arriving Town of the Beginning and End!, an one piece fanfic

Hey, guys! Welcome to the new chapter of Bomb's Away! I hope you guys will enjoy the chapter...oh, and I don't own anything except for my OCs, as the OCs Jack Sparrow and Jake belong entirely to 9655.

NOW LET'S GET ON WITH THE STORY!

{Bombs Away!-Season 1, Episode 14: Arriving at the Town of the Beginning and the End!/Exploring the City of Loguetown!}

"Stay focused, Apis!" Asher ordered with a glare as it was a beautiful day in the sea, and we see him standing on the upper deck of the Going Merry as he was having a training session with Apis, who was flying around in the air in her Millennial Dragon Form as she was having a fight with an airborne Jack and Cottontail. "Bomu Bomu No...Dual Blast Cannons!" Asher screamed while raising his glowing pink arms as he fired dual continuous beams of explosive pink energy up at Apis, who flew around to avoid the attack as the 10-year-old girl also ducked to the side to avoid getting blasted by Jack with said person in his Zoan Mystic-Ryu Ryu no Mi Model: Human/Beast-Obelisk Form as he tried to use his God Hand Impact against her, but Apis was able to avoid the purple/black energy blast as Cottontail flew up in his Monster Form and tried to slash her sides, only for the Animal Shapeshifting Girl to evade the attack and opened up her mouth to fire a big stream of green flames that drove him back. "Okay, that's enough! Training Session is over!"

"Phew!" A relieved Apis says while flying over to land on the ground as her scleras turn white, and her eyes stop glowing golden as they return to being brown again, and a huge burst of golden smoke appears on her body as we see Apis morphing back into her Human Form.

"You did great, Apis," Jack says while flying over to land on the deck with Cottontail doing the same thing as they morph back into their Normal Forms.

"You think so?"

"Yeah, you are really getting the hang of your Devil Fruit Powers." Cottontail says as he flies over to land on Apis's shoulder. "Now, give me your most fiercest look." Cottontail ordered as Apis nodded and tried to put on her best fiercest look, but it didn't help that she looked like a pouting adorable baby as Cottontail smirked at her. "Ooh, if I had a spine, it would be tingling."

"Ugh, weren't you a little bit intimidated?"

"Apis, you are too cute to be fierce...well, unless you transform," Cottontail says with a shrug as Apis rolls her eyes dryly.

"Whatever. Anyway, I'm at least happy that I have a more useful and powerful Devil Fruit now." Apis says as a disapproving Jack turns to her.

"Apis, all Devil Fruits are incredibly powerful," Jack said wisely while kneeling down on the ground as he reached over to lay his hand on Apis's shoulder. "You just have to know their strengths."

"Really? Even when I thought my fruit was the Whisper Whisper Fruit?" A surprised Apis asked as Jack nodded.

"Yeah, you having the ability to talk to animals helped us out a lot, and I think yours is one of the only Devil Fruits that allows you to cheat the no-swimming rule because you can transform into aquatic creatures."

"You think so?"

"Yeah, I mean, you probably can't change back underwater, but you can definitely swim underwater as a fish," Jack explained as Apis beamed.

"Cool! I'm going to try that now!" An excited Apis yelled while turning around to try and leap into the ocean, but was stopped by Asher as he reached over to grab her by the back of her shirt and lifted her up into the air.

"Yeah, maybe not try that when we are sailing through the sea, sweetie." A bemused Asher says as Apis nods, and the Bombman places her down on a chair as Nami suddenly appears but looks a bit uncomfortable as a curious Asher turns to her. "What's wrong, babe?"

"Asher, I seriously hope that we reach Loguetown soon. I need to buy some new clothes because my pants can't seem to fit me anymore." Nami says while turning around to show that her pants barely fit her suddenly bigger and thicker ass. "Do you think my butt looks fat?"

"Yes, it does," Asher says obviously, not realizing how much he had fucked up as a furious Nami blushed in embarrassment and whirled around to reach over to grab his neck, planning to throttle him as Apis was distracted by the sight of a flock of birds flying nearby and picked up on their conversation as she perked up.

"Hey, guys! The Seagulls told me that we are heading close to an island!" Apis yelled, exciting everyone as the whole Straw Hat Pirate Crew turned to her, and Nami even forgot why she was angry with Asher and let go of his neck as he cradled it and groaned in pain.

"Really?! That's great! What Island is it?!" An excited Luffy asked as he and the others made their way over to Asher, Nami, Jack, Apis, and Cottontail.

"I can't believe that you forgot that we were going to Loguetown..." A deadpan Nami says while facepalming as Usopp grins widely.

"So, that's the island where Loguetown is, huh?"

"I wonder if they have a market," Sanji says while reaching into his coat to pull out a cigarette as he lit it and begins smoking it as Gin nods.

"They do trust me. My old crew and I went to Loguetown before going to the Grand Line and there was so much to buy for our whole voyage."

"Great, then I will be able to buy some new ingredients to last us a long while."

"And I will be able to help with the cooking." An excited Apis says as everyone, minus Luffy, immediately groans in misery.

"Well, Jake and I are going to see if there is any good food at that place," Cottontail says as Jake hissed in agreement.

"I hope that there is a Weapons Shop. Being stuck with one sword doesn't suit a Three Sword Style User." Zoro says with a cocky smirk as Nami snorted and began laughing.

Nami laughed loudly as she gave Zoro a mocking look. "You? Buy a sword? Aren't you like flat out broke?" Nami asked Zoro, who glared at her in annoyance with a big angry thick mark on his head as Gin hummed thoughtfully and glanced down at his old and rusty metal tonfas.

"Hmmm, I might as well buy some new metal tonfas for me too."

"You know what? You should find some new weapons too, bae. To help expand your repertoire." Nami says to Asher, who perks up as he grins widely.

"Sure, and I will buy something for my girl too," Asher says with a wink as Nami blushes with a giggle.

"Ooh, I can't wait to check out their Equipment Shops for some cool stuff," Usopp says with an excited tone as Apis beamed.

"I can't wait to explore the place. This is the first time that I have arrived in a big city like this place."

"He, he, me too," Akira said as Squish cooed.

"That's it, huh? That's the island where Gold Roger was born and executed? The town where the King of the Pirates had met his fate. Also known as the city of the Beginning and the End." Luffy says with a serious tone as Asher and Jack share a look and nod as the Going Merry continues heading towards the Polestar Islands at high speeds.

At Loguetown, we see the King of Pirates himself, Captain Gold Roger, currently wearing shackles and kneeling down in a large stadium with two Marines standing beside him with a couple of swords in their arms as a huge crowd of people could be seen standing in front of them and were screaming at Roger to reveal where he had hidden all of the treasure and wealth that he had accumulated over the years as the King of Pirates heard this and, even though he was going to get executed soon, couldn't help but grin widely with excitement and glee.

"Oh, you all want my treasure?! You can have it! I left everything I gathered together in one place! Now you just have to find it~!" Captain Gold Roger exclaimed with a loud, joyful laugh.

These words lured men to the Grand Line

In pursuit of dreams greater than they've ever dared to imagine

This is the time known as 'The Great Pirate Era!'

Once the King of Pirates was executed, hundreds of Pirates immediately boarded their ships and set their sails as they all quickly sailed off into the dangerous ocean and began making their way to the Grand Line to find the Legendary One Piece as this officially issued, 'The Great Pirate Era!'.

Sharing an excited and determined grin, Luffy and Asher can be seen running up a hill as the Bombman then kneeled down and allowed the Rubberman to leap up to land on his back as Asher created a huge explosion underneath his legs, and it propelled them up into the air as the Boys cheered loudly and numerous visions of all of the current members of the Straw Pirates appeared in front of them as a glaring and malnourished Zoro can be seen tied up against a post in Shells Town, a panting and panicking Nami can be seen running away from Three of Buggy's Henchmen in Orange Town, and a purring Cottontail eating a couple of mushrooms on the Island of Rare Animals.

A smirking Usopp crossed his arms as he stood on top of a tall cliff in Syrup Village with Kaya standing beside him and wrapped her arms around him as the wind blew their hair away, a stoic Sanji walked through the Baratie while smoking a cigarette and carrying around a dish filled with food as he could be seen serving the food to Jack and a glaring Gin can be seen standing in the background as the Krieg Pirates' Flag can be seen waving behind him, Akira can be seen sitting on the chair and was being served food by a smiling Nojiko in Cocoyasi Village, and a giggling Apis flew through the air while being morphed into the form of a Dragon as she soared through Warship Island.

After the visions were done, the Future Pirate King and the Future Strongest Man In The World then perked up as they spotted the Going Merry sailing through the seas, and a laughing Luffy grabbed onto Asher's body as he then stretched his free arm to wrap over to latch onto the Straw Hat Pirates' Flag and they propelled themselves forwards with the Duo laughing joyfully as they crashed right into the Going Merry's Deck.

Compass left behind

It'll only slow us down

The Going Merry can be seen sailing through the treacherous ocean of the East Blue with numerous Sea Kings swimming past it as huge waves of water rang out, and the Straw Hat Pirates can be seen either staring at them in awe, cheering loudly, or panicking as they continued sailing through the ocean.

That legendary place

That the end of the map reveals

Is only legendary

'Till someone proves it real

Zooming into the Going Merry, we see Nami drawing maps inside of her room, a glaring Zoro and Gin sparring with each other on the main deck, Jack sailing the Going Merry, Usopp fixing up the damages done to the ship, a blushing and heart-eyed Sanji serving some food that he had cooked to a smiling and bashful Kaya, Akira washing the deck with the help of some mop and soap, a grinning Luffy residing on his usual seat (The Going Merry's Sheep Figurehead) to enjoy the beautiful day, and a smirking Asher could be seen riding around on the masthead with Apis riding around on his shoulders, and the Duo went starry-eyed at the sight of the amazing journey laid before them as Cottontail can be seen flying ahead of them.

Through it all, through all the troubled times

Narrowing his eyes furiously, Zoro gripped his three swords tightly and swung them around as he was able to slash away a group of charging Pirates, a glaring Gin twirled his tonfa around and spun around elegantly as he was able to whack away various Pirates, a calm and collected Sanji smoke his cigarette as a horde of Pirates surrounded him and aimed their swords at him as he swiftly got down in a handstand and twirled around as the blonde-haired simp was able to kick them all away, Jack opened up his mouth and fired a huge torrent of hot flame-like energy at a group of charging and menacing evil Pirates and sends them flying away with the help of a large fiery explosion as Cottontail flew by and hardened himself as he proceeds to trip every single one of the burned and flaming Pirates out of the Going Merry.

Crouching down, a grunting Akira then jumped up into the air and began slashing and punching every Pirates that he saw, a gleeful Kaya can be seen running around at high speeds to knock away every single Pirates that was in her sight before she began running around in a circle and created a huge gust of wind that blew them out of the Going Merry and splashed down into the ocean, a giggling Apis dodged and weaved to avoid all of the incoming swords slashes as she then jumped up into the air and ran her hands across a nearby flying Cottontail as she was able to absorb his DNA and morphed herself into a Winged Cotton Lemur as Apis hardened herself and twirled around as she fires multiple white spikes that pierced through the Pirates' bodies.

Standing back to back, a nervous yet determined Usopp fired various of his specially made explosive balls at all of the nearby Pirates as a scowling Nami used her staff to whack every Pirates she saw, and we see the Last Remaining Straw Hat Pirates standing near the end of the Going Merry and spotted the Enemy Pirates Ship floating beside them. Getting an idea, Asher then crouched down and jumped up high into the air as a smirking Luffy stretched up his arm and grabbed onto his leg as the Rubberman grunted and proceeded to swing the Bomberman down at the Pirates Ship with said person creating a huge explosion that blew apart the ship as the rest of the Straw Hat Pirate cheered loudly at what their Captain and Crewmate did.

Multiple vast images of all of the Incoming Arc Villains appeared as we see Iron Mace Alvida, Axe-Hand Morgan, Buggy the Star Clown, Kuro of a Hundred Plans, Eldoraggo, Foul-Play Krieg, Arlong the Saw, Garp the Fist, Smoker the White Hunter, Bear King, and Eric the Whirlwind as all of the Straw Hat Pirates Villains posed menacingly and scowled stoically.

After arriving near the Grand Line, Luffy can be seen sitting at his usual favorite seat in the Going Merry with Asher standing behind him as Nami wraps her arms around him and places her head on his shoulder as an annoyed Zoro stands near them on their right with Cottontail residing on top of his mossy head as Gin can be seen resting on the edge of the boat lazily, Usopp stood beside the Lovebirds on their left, and Sanji stands beside him as he smoked a cigarette and sighed heavily with Jack smiling widely and enjoying the sea breeze as Kaya stood behind them and smiled warmly while holding Apis and Akira in her arms as the logo of the story appeared in front of the readers.

{Bombs Away-Season 1 Theme Song Over!}

~[Everyone]~

"Whoo-hoo! What a huge town!" An excited Luffy says as we fast forward in time and we see the Straw Hat Pirates walking across the city of Loguetown as everyone looks amazed by what they see. "This is going to be fun!"

"Every Pirate that is heading to the Grand Line stops here to resupply. You can get pretty much whatever you want here." Nami says as she then turns to everyone with a stern look on her face. "But before we all go, Loguetown is a pretty big town, so in order for none of us to get lost, i.e. Luffy, Asher, and the kids, we have to split off into teams of two or more," Nami says as everyone, minus a distracted Luffy, nods in agreement. "Alright, since I want to go shopping and I need some girl time, I will take Apis with me," Nami said as Apis beamed and nodded.

"Well, Gin and I are going to buy some new weapons for ourselves," Zoro says as Gin nods stoically.

"I want to come too," Akira says while now wearing a long-sleeved black hooded cloak, some black tinted goggles, a pair of black gloves, and a pair of black boots as he had his Golden Trident strapped to his back.

"Uh, sure," Zoro says while sharing an odd look with Gin as the former shrugs.

"Cool. Anyway, why do I have to wear this get-up again?" Akira asked curiously while holding Squish as Nami turned to him worriedly.

"I told you, Baby Bro, you need to wear a disguise while we are here because, unlike Apis's Village, the people here would more than definitely not be open to having a Fishman in their town, so to protect you, you need to wear that disguise," Nami says with a serious tone as Akira sighs heavily and nods.

"Well, I'm going to buy some ingredients and food for the crew," Sanji says as Cottontail and Jake immediately fly/slithered over to hug him.

"Then we will go with you too!"

"I want to go to the Equipment Store to buy some cool stuff." Usopp says with a big grin on his face as an excited Luffy then runs forward.

"I'm gonna check out the execution platform! I want to see the place where the King of the Pirates was executed!"

"Hey, wait! We haven't decided on a place to meet back up yet!" A panicking Usopp says as Asher rolls his eyes playfully.

"Don't worry, Jack, and I will keep an eye on him."

"Indeed," Jack says while he and Asher run after Luffy as said person has a big excited smile on his face.

"The King of the Pirates was born here, and he died here tool He probably even walked down this very street! I'm so freaking excited!"

~[Nami and Apis]~

"Well, that was fun." A grinning Nami says while she and Apis come out of a Clothing Store with the Manager crying endless tears of frustration and annoyance as he carries around a huge bundle of fancy-looking clothing for both adults and children. "Don't you think so, Apis?"

"Yeah, it was." A beaming Apis says as she had tons of fun playing dress up with her big sister. "Although, I have to ask, why didn't we buy anything in the store?"

"Oh, Apis, Apis, Apis. You are so naive. A fun part about shopping is being able to dress up in clothes that are way too expensive for you to buy and then later on buy clothes that are cheap for you. Besides, even if I did have the money to buy all of those clothes, we are Pirates, so I won't be able to use those clothes a lot. Anyway, let's go and buy some actual clothes for us. Oh, and I also need to buy a new prosthetic arm for myself too." Nami says while reaching down to grab Apis's hand as she begins leading them away.

~[Sanji, Cottontail, and Jake]~

"A top-quality aperitif! Oh! A lovely two-item dish! This town is just full of delicious foods to sample! This town is just full of delicious foods to sample! Damn, I can't even decide what to go after first!" An excited Sanji says while walking through the city of Loguetown with a bored Cottontail and Jake wrapped around his shoulders as they share a dry look.

"You know, Cottontail, when Sanji mentioned wanting to see some delicious food, this isn't what I had in mind..."

"Ditto."

"Holy crap! I think that I have just found the main course!" Sanji says with hearty eyes and a big blush on his face as he points over to a rather sexy young woman standing nearby with a sly look on her face.

Standing before them is a 6'6-feet-tall, 25-year-old Woman with dark green eyes, long wavy black hair that reaches down to her waist, thin black eyebrows, a small nose, red lipstick, a sharp chin, G-Cup Breasts, Flawless Smooth Light Skin, a tall hourglass slender build, a heart-shaped thick ass, and her outfit consists of a white cowgirl hat with a large red plume, a pearl necklace, a long-sleeved high-collared purple coat with golden accents, a white red-stripped bikini top, a brown belt with a silver belt buckle, long tight pink capri pants, and a pair of pink sandals as she carried around a comically huge black spiked iron mace. Her name is Iron Mace Alvida, the Former Captain of the Alvida Pirates, the first antagonist encountered by Luffy on his journey after going to sea, and is now a member of Buggy's Crew after making an alliance with him and the others.

~[Usopp]~

"Whoo-hoo-hoo! Awesome!" A very excited Usopp says while appearing in a store named, 'Trinks N Stuff' as he looks around and notices that the shelves are filled with random nicknacks and tricks far from the eye can see. "This is crazy! This place is full of cool stuff!" Usopp says cheerfully as the Store Manager walks over to him with a big fake smile on his face.

"Welcome, sir! All of the items you see on display were used by Pirates who sailed the Grand Line! These are valuable, special items, of course!"

"You mean these are all things they used in their adventures on the Grand Line?!"

"That's absolutely correct! We aim to cater to the needs of true warriors of the sea! We are so glad to have your business!" The Store Manager says with a big sleazy grin on his face as he creepily walks closer and closer to Usopp as he then holds out a cheap-looking gun. "Take a look at this, sir! This is a gun that was actually used by Gold Roger!"

"No way! Gold Roger's Gun?!" A shocked Usopp asked as the Store Manager nodded with a big fake smile on his face.

"Yes! What do you think, sir?!"

"Show me more stuff, please!"

"With pleasure!"

~[Captian Smoker and the Marines]~

"Captain Smoker! There's an alert! We've received notification from Marine Headquarters!" A Marine Soldier screamed while running into his boss's office as he noticed said person sitting on the ground and smoking two cigarettes at once as the whole room was filled with a thick white fog.

Standing before him is a 6'10-feet-tall, 34-year-old Man with brown eyes, short snowy white hair cut in a textured pompadour fade style, thin white eyebrows, a small pointy nose, a sharp chin, Pale White Skin, a tall heavily muscular build, and his outfit consists of a pair of brown goggles, a large thick white and blue specialist marine jacket that he keeps open with greenish fur lining the neck/wrists/hem as it bears the kanji for 'Justice' written on the back of it and it has many cigars strapped to the jacket, a Seastone-Tipped Jitte strapped onto his back, a pair of brown leather gloves, a brown belt with a golden belt buckle, long blue jeans, and a pair of large military-issue brown leather boots. His name is Smoker the White Hunter, a Marine Captain who is in charge of the city of Loguetown, the Superior of Tashigi as he serves as her mentor as well, and the person who had eaten a Logia-Type Devil Fruit named, 'The Moku Moku no Mi Devil Fruit, which gives him the ability to create, control and transform his body into smoke.

"I have just received word that Monkey D. Luffy and his band of pirates are heading towards Loguetown! He's the East Blue Pirate with a reward on his head for $30,000,000 Berries!"

"Yes, I know about him, you idiot. I was given his Wanted Poster a while ago. I just didn't expect him to show up in Loguetown so soon. What a surprise." Smoker says with a nonchalant tone as the Marine Soldier gives him a worried look.

"Captain, I don't think that you should underestimate him! He is the Pirate who defeated Don Krieg and the Fishman Arlong!"

"Shut the hell up!" Smoker snapped while glaring at him as he then went over to the window to open it up and let all of the white air out. "What are you getting all worked up for? Since I've been at this post, has there ever been even a single Pirate that's been able to get out of this city once they've entered?"

"...Well, no, but, Sir-,"

"Then don't get all nervous. I'll take care of it, at my own pace." Smoker says just as another Marine Soldier appears with an urgent and worried look on his face.

"Reporting, sir! I have received word that Pirates have been sighted at the harbor! Please come to confirm the situation!"

"It's got to be Luffy and his Pirate Crew, sir, but how did they get here so quickly? I just got my report." The First Marine Soldier says with the Second Marine Soldier shrugging as Smoker narrows his eyes stoically.

"$30,000,000 Berries, huh? This might be interesting."

"What's that, sir?"

"Oh, nothing. Just thinking out loud. Forget it." Smoker says while making his way out of his office as the Second Marine Soldier follows after him, and we see them making their way out of Marine Headquarters as they begin walking through the city of Loguetown.

"Captain, you have to tell us what our orders are and to please request some backup."

"No need to."

"But, sir, you need to consider how powerful he is, and-,"

"Shut the hell up. Don't tell me how to do things." Smoker says while giving the Marine Soldier a venomous glare as he flinched nervously and gulped.

"I'm very sorry, sir!"

"Whatever, where's Tashigi?" Smoker asked with his usual gruff blunt tone as the Marine Soldier perked up.

"Oh actually, she's been out since this morning. She missed the morning drills."

"That ditzy, irresponsible girl. Where'd she go off to now?" Smoker asked with an irritated tone just as a little girl carrying around some ice cream appeared and accidentally collided against his pant leg, ruining her ice cream as Smoker turned to give the little girl an emotionless glare.

"C-Captain Smoker!" The Little Girl's Father yelled concernedly and fearfully as he went over to bow to him. "I'm so sorry about my kid! I'm so sorry! I'm sorry! Sorry! Sorry!" The Little Girl's Father screamed as Smoker kneeled down and quietly reached over to place his hand on the Little Girl's head, surprisingly comforting her as he handed her a couple of Berries.

"Sorry, kid. Looks like my pants ate your ice cream. Here, go buy yourself five scoops." Smoker says before he and the Marine Soldier turn around to walk away as the Little Girl's Father sighs in relief and we then fast forward in time as we see them arriving at Loguetown's Docks and spot what seems to be a bunch of comical, stereotypical Pirates robbing everything in the docks as Smoker and the rest of the Marine Soldiers spotted them, and while he wasn't Luffy, they still had a job to do and went over to confront them.

~[Apis, and Nami]~

"Captain Smoker?" A curious Nami asked while talking with the Shopkeeper in a random Clothing Store as Apis can be seen checking out some clothes from a nearby clothing rack.

"Yeah, you know, he's one of the top soldiers from Marine Headquarters. This town used to be full of pirates heading for the Grand Line, but since the Captain was stationed here, every pirate who comes into the city ends up in the slammer. He's not normal. They say he's a monster. They even say he has Devil Fruit powers, you know."

"Devil Fruit Powers?" Nami asked curiously while wearing a new prosthetic arm, which is now a silver shiny blue and has orange intricated accents as she hummed thoughtfully.

~[Captian Smoker, the Marines, Asher, Luffy, and Jack]~

"A job well done, Captain!" A beaming Marine Soldier says as he and the others can be seen tying up the bruised and injured Pirate Crew. "You finished off the Luffy Pirates in record time!"

"Are you blind, or just stupid?" A glaring Smoker asked as he turned to the idiot Marine Soldier. "How could these losers be Luffy and his Crew? If these pansies are worth 30 million Berries, then I'd become a Pirate."

"T-Then what about Luffy?"

"He'll show himself soon enough, and then the fun will start." Smoker says with a sinister tone in his voice as the silhouettes of three people appear, and they can be seen standing on the other side of the deck, talking to each other before they notice the Marines as two of them run up to Smoker.

"Hey, can you help us, sir?"

"Are they members of this group?" Smoker asked one of the Marine Soldiers, who shook his head as the mysterious figures turned out to be Asher and Jack.

"Perfect timing. Can you tell us how to get to the execution platform?" Asher asked while he and Jack pretended to not know who he was as they both made sure to keep their best poker faces.

"The execution platform?"

"Yeah, this is our first time being here and since Loguetown is bigger than we thought, we got a little bit lost," Jack explained as Smoker narrowed his eyes suspiciously.

"Why are you looking for the gallows?"

"As a personal request from our friend who wants to see where the King of the Pirates died," Asher says as Smoker seems surprised by this but then gains his usual stoic look as he uses his Devil Fruit Powers to create a big stream of white fog that heads straight towards a faraway Luffy and turns left into the city.

"Just follow where the smoke points."

"Great, thanks," Jack says while he and Asher turn around to run over to Luffy. "You think he caught on to who we were?"

"Nah, we tricked the hell out of him," Asher says with a sly grin while he and Jack run over to grab their distracted Captain and drag him away as Smoker narrowed his eyes at them quietly.

~[Zoro, Gin, Akira, and Tashigi]~

"Damn it! These swords are so freaking expensive!" A glaring Zoro says while he is looking through the window of a Sword Shop and notices how expensive each sword is as Gin stands beside him stoically with his arms crossed, and Akira stands near the green-haired swordsman.

"Why didn't you save up enough money to buy new weapons?"

"I didn't have the opportunity to do so because I was healing from my injuries and we had to deal with Arlong, Eric the Whirlwind, and the Marines, and I couldn't ask Nami for a loan because I will have to pay 300% interest," Zoro says with an annoyed and angry grumble as he remembered asking Nami to loan him some money, only for her to bluntly tell him that he will owe her 300% interest and proceeds to give about 500,000 Berries to Akira for him to be able to buy some ice cream. "I can't afford to borrow any more money from that heartless loan shark."

"But you can't go into the Grand Line stuck with just one sword, neither can I with my worn out and nearly broken metal tonfas." Gin pointed out as, earlier, Gin came to the irritating realization that he didn't have money either and expected the green-haired swordsman to pay for their weapons.

"Hey, don't insult my big sister. She's not mean. Nami is very nice and considerate." Akira says as Zoro rolls his eyes dryly.

"Oh, please, she's only nice to you because you are her little brother."

"Whatever, I'm going to go and buy ice cream." Akira says while turning around to walk away as Gin was about to say something before trailing off as he and Zoro spotted a young woman being harassed by two thugs as a huge crowd of people surrounded them.

Standing before them is a 5'7-feet-tall, 21-year-old Woman with dark brown eyes, chin-length black hair, thin black eyebrows, a small pointy nose, a sharp chin, D-Cup Breasts, Light Skin, a tall slender hourglass build, a cute perky ass, and her outfit consists of a rectangular-shaped red glasses, a long-sleeved high-collared blue leather coat, a short-sleeved light green shirt with white trimmed edges underneath, her sword attached to her back with the help of a black strap wrapped around her body, a black belt with silver belt buckles, long dark blue jeans, and a pair of black shoes as she also looks remarkably similar to the late Kuina, Zoro's childhood friend. Her name is Tashigi, a Master Chief Petty Officer in Loguetown who serves under Smoker.

"Monster?! How rude!"

"Awww, shut up! Thanks to him, our boss is locked up in jail!"

"Have you not given up and learned your lesson?" Tashigi asked with a bored tone and crossed arms as the thugs glared down at her angrily.

"No way! Are you chicken or something? We're going to send you back to him in pieces!"

"If you insist, I will fight you," Tashigi says while reaching behind her to unsheath her sword as the Thugs laughed amusedly.

"That so, baby? Don't make me laugh!"

"What the hell can a little woman like you do?!" The Thugs asked while laughing mockingly as they then ran over to attack Tashigi with Zoro gearing to help her out while an uncaring Gin stood to the side as they were all then amazed when Tashigi swung her sword around and was able to incapacitate the thugs with one swipe, causing them to crash down into the ground as everyone, including Zoro, were left stunned by this...but then deadpanned when Tashigi turned around, took a step forward and tripped as she falls down into the ground and her glasses fell off as everyone laughed amusedly and the green-haired swordsman quickly ran over to bend down to grab the glasses.

"Hey, uh, here you go," Zoro says while holding out Tashigi's Glasses to her as he was then stunned to see that she has an uncanny resemblance to Kuina.

"Thank you so much. That's so kind." Tashigi says with a warm smile as Zoro tenses and accidentally grips her glasses so tight that they are smashed into pieces as they both look stunned by this, and Gin shakes his head as he sighs heavily.

~[Asher, Luffy, Jack, and Smoker]~

"How could we lose the magic smoke trail?" An annoyed Asher asked as we see him, Luffy, and Jack arriving at an alleyway placed between two buildings.

"Yeah, this sucks, I just want to find the execution platform, but this doesn't look like the right way at all."

"Well, there's no point in complaining about it. Let's try and find it." Jack says while he and the others walk forward as they are surprised to see a small bar with a big sign that reads, 'Bar Gold Roger!', surprising the trio as they share a look and nod as the boys walk into the bar and realized that the place was completely empty and dusty as all of the chairs were flipped upside down, except for one as an old man can be seen sitting on the chair and drinking some rum with an emotionless glare on his face.

Standing before them is a 5'5-feet-tall, 65-year-old Man with black eyes, grey hair with a bald spot, thing gray eyebrows, a small nose, a sharp chin, Wrinkled Light Skin, a short slim build, and his outfit consists of a purple hat, a pair of golden earrings, a pair of circular-shaped black glasses, a golden necklace, a long-sleeved white shirt with red rims on it, a black belt, long black pants, and a pair of black sandals. His name is Raoul, the owner of the Gold Roger Bar at Loguetown, and in his youth, used to know Gol D. Roger as said person visited his bar constantly and told him he would conquer the Grand Line.

"Excuse me, do you work here? The sign hanging outside says that this bar is called, 'Gold Roger'. How did it get that name?"

"Get out. This isn't a place for kids, and we're closed right now." Raoul says with a glare as Asher tilts his head curiously.

"What? Are you out of business or something?" Asher asked while he and the others went over to sit down at the bar as Raoul shook his head with a glare.

"I'm not out of business! I just decided to shut it down myself! I'm retiring, so now get out!"

"Sorry, man, we didn't mean to bother you, we just got a little lost. We were trying to find the execution platform, but we got a little sidetracked. Can you tell us how to get there?" Jack asked as Raoul remained silent, and it was only now that the boys spotted a cracked skull placed on the Bar Owner's Table.

"Whoa, what's that thing on the table?" Asher asked while pointing over at the skull as Raoul narrowed his eyes stoically.

"It's a skull, but not just any skull. This is the skull of a man known as the, 'Killer Giant'. A man who killed hundreds of pirates. He was a devil, but Gold Roger fought and killed him by using only one singular deadly blow."

"Gold Roger did?" A shocked Luffy asked as Raoul nodded with a little smirk on his face.

"With truly lightning speed. It's a famous tale. He was a big, rough guy, with a big sword. The battle was decided pretty quickly. This gash is what killed him, but he was really something. His last words were, 'Roger. No one can touch you. I praise you as the Eternal King of the Pirate',"

"Awesome!/Cool!/Tell us more!" Asher, Luffy, and Jack say as even Raoul gets excited by this and raises his hands dramatically as he begins telling the tale.

"Eric Dow, the man known as King. Silver Silver, the World's Greatest Gunman. The Giant Gowns Brothers. They were all tough men who were feared as indestructible demons but for Gold Roger? They were weak as infants. Wanna hear more?" Raoul asked with the trio nodding excitedly as he sighed heavily. "Nowadays youngsters don't usually take an interest in this stuff anymore. Anyway, Gold Roger back then-No, still today, he's the only pirate who truly didn't fear the dangers of the Grand Line. As you see, the area known as the Grand Line is a place where ships disappear and are never seen again. Navigation is said to be impossible. Because people are so scared of it, they seldom come close to that cursed ocean, but for Gold Roger? When he told me he would conquer the Grand Line, he did it with a big smile on his face without a touch of fear in his eyes whatsoever."

"After clearing out all of the booze in the bar, Gold Roger and his crew set off the next morning to the Grand Line as if they were going out sightseeing. Later on, when I heard he had conquered the Grand Line, I wasn't surprised but I cheered so hard that I even forgot my age for a bit, but now, everyone has passed on. Roger was executed at the gallows here in town twenty two years ago, and from that day, everyone's been going around with the audacity to call themselves Pirates. They even call this, 'The Great Pirate Age', but it's all just a bunch of rubbish. This town is filled with nothing but cowards and scum. There are no real Pirates anymore. Fewer and fewer people are daring to sail the Grand Line, and so, that is the reason this place will be closed down."

"We're going to the Grand Line." Luffy stated bluntly, surprising Raoul as Asher and Jack nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, not just us but our whole crew as well."

"We all have big dreams that we want to accomplish and we can only do that in the Grand Line," Asher says with a grin as a cheerfully smiling Luffy nods.

"Gold Roger is so cool. He's exactly how a Pirate should be. That's why I went out to sea to go to the Grand Line and find the One Piece because I'm gonna be the Pirate King." Luffy says with Raoul staring at him in pure shock and awe and gasping as he spots an image of Gold Roger covering Luffy's form.

"That's a crazy thing to say. How could you say that, here in this place?"

"What? But I'm just telling the truth." Luffy says sincerely as Raoul laughs a bit.

"Kids, after having customers like you three, maybe it's best that I held off on closing this place, and you know what? It's been a long time since I had a customer, so drink's on the house." Raoul says while going over to his bar as Asher and Jack beamed.

"I would like some bear."

"I want some rum," Jack says as Luffy shakes his head.

"None for me, please. I don't drink."

"Is that so? Then how about this?" Raoul asked while serving Asher and Jack their beer and rum as he handed a glass of milk to Luffy. "Let's have a toast! To the Eternal King of the Pirates!"

"To the Eternal Pirate King!" Luffy, Raoul, Asher, and Jack cheered while clinking their drinks with each other and then drank their beverages as the Bombman glanced ahead and perked up as he stood up from his chair.

"Ooh, look at what I found, Captain," Asher says while going over to pick up a discarded high-collared black cloak lying on a table and reaching over to grab it. "This is perfect for you, Luffy.

"Really? I don't know." Luffy says with a disbelieving tone as Jack turns to him.

"Every captain has one, Luffy," Jack says as Luffy hums thoughtfully but nods as he stands up from his chair and walks over to grab the cloak as he puts it on.

"How do I look?"

"Like a real Captain," Asher says with an approving nod as Jack nods in agreement and Raoul smirks widely.

"And you know what else, kid? You need to have a Vice Captain."

"Wait, really? But we are all Nakamas." Luffy pointed out as Raoul nodded.

"That maybe, but it is necessary." Raoul says seriously as Luffy purses his lips, but nods as we then fast forward in time, and we see that the boys have left the bar as we see the Bartender cleaning the counter just as the doors are opened as Smoker appears onto the scene. "So it's you, huh?"

"The usual greeting, eh? Not a nice way to treat an old customer." Smoker says with a joking tone as Raoul glares at him furiously.

"You ruined my business."

"I don't feel like joking around with you." Smoker says with his own glare as he went over to sit down in front of him. "You shouldn't think of me as someone who betrayed you. It's not my fault this is the business you're in. The Pirates today are all weaklings. That's the real problem." Smoker says before noticing that there were three glasses placed near him as he grinned slyly. "You had three customers, huh? That's pretty unusual. I'd like some rum, old man."

"We don't serve your kind here."

"That's discrimination, you know." Smoker says while using his Devil Fruit Powers to create the smoke white trail emitting from his cigars to go over and grab a bottle of rum as he brings it over to himself. "Today is a special day, isn't it." Smoker says while taking a drink from his rum as Raoul narrowed his eyes furiously. "That's the stuff. What happened on that day, even now, is so clear in my mind. Gold Roger, in his last moments. It was a hot, muggy day just like today. On his way to the execution platform, even though his hands were bound, he carried himself with pride. Wealth, Fame, Power."

"Gold Roger attained everything that the world had to offer. Even though he was walking towards the path of death, he held himself high, like a proud warrior. As he was walking up his execution platform, Roger even said, 'Inherited Will, the Destiny of the Age, the Dreams of its People. As long as people continue to pursue the meaning of freedom, these things will never vanish from the earth'. After that, when Roger told everyone that his legendary treasure, 'The One Piece', is in the Grand Line that's when it all truly began." Smoker says before taking a deep breath as he then turned to Raoul. "Anyway, Old Man, tell me who were your new customers?"

"Oh, a guy with a straw hat. A guy with an eyepatch, and a guy with short black hair." Raoul says as Smoker hummed thoughtfully...before his eyes widened in shock and anger, realizing that the trio that he had met earlier were really Luffy and his Pirate Crew this whole time as he turns around to run out of the bar, not knowing that Raoul was smirking widely as we cue over to the main street and we see Asher, Luffy, and Jack standing in front of the execution platform.

"There it is. This is the place where the Pirate King was executed. The place where the greatest pirate who ever lived died. The place of the beginning." Luffy says while gulping harshly as Asher looks on in awe, and Jack looks serious yet intimidated as the trio share a look and nod as they go over to the execution platform and begin climbing as everyone around them is shocked by what the boys are doing.

"Hey, Kids." Smoker says with a glare while suddenly standing below them as Asher and the others glance down at him curiously.

"What do you want? We're a little there occupied right now."

"Are you the guy with the biggest bounty in the East Blue? And are you two from his Pirate Crew?" Smoker asked while speaking with Luffy and then Asher and Jack respectively as they all nodded. "Good. I am Captain Smoker of the Marines. I'm in charge of Loguetown. You all are under arrest."

"Eh, yeah, figured, but we won't let that happen because we have big dreams to fulfill when we get to the Grand Line. I want to become the strongest man in the world." Asher says with a smirk as the others nod.

"And I want to become a legend."

"And I'm gonna become King of the Pirates," Luffy says as Smoker looks shocked by what they said.

"Strongest man in the world? A legend? King of the Pirates?"

"Yeah, and we refuse to get arrested in this town," Jack stated firmly as Smoker narrowed his eyes angrily.

"You three aren't able to get into the Grand Line unless you can beat me in a fight. That is the rule here in this town. Thus all will depend on you if you have the courage to fight against me, of course."

"So, you are saying that we must overcome you if we want to go in Grand Line?" Luffy asked as Smoker nodded quietly. "Yosh, then it's my turn first!" An excited Luffy yelled while leaping off from the execution platform as he landed on the ground. "Gomu-Gomu...Pistol!" Luffy exclaimed while throwing a stretchy punch that flew over to Smoker, who not only dodged to avoid it easily but also used his superhuman speed to suddenly appear beside him.

"Too slow!" Smoker screamed while throwing a punch at Luffy's face to send him crashing down to the ground and then zipped over to kick him away. "Someone as pathetic as this kid can't be worth 30 Million Berries?! I do not even need to use my Devil Fruit Powers to beat him! My fists will largely be enough!"

"Whoa, he's fast." An impressed Asher says as Jack nods in agreement and they spot their Captain recovering from the attack and trying to fight with Smoker head-on, only for him to punch him over to collide against the base of the execution platform with a pained grunt.

"22 years ago, I saw Gold Roger's execution. His proud final moments were worthy of the title of the King of the Pirates, but you? The King of the Pirates? Do not make me laugh, you are not even able to reach Grand Line. Don't bother trying to get up, there's no point." Smoker says while giving Luffy a venomous glare as said person stands up from the floor with a big toothy grin on his face.

"Maybe, but I will never know if I don't try at least! Gomu Gomu No...Whip!" Luffy shouted as he reared back his left leg, and it stretched backwards as the black-haired man proceeded to throw a fierce stretchy kick at Smoker, only for him to miss as it flew over to wrap around a nearby water fountain and the Rubberman proceeded to accidentally fling himself into the air. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I REALLY MESSED THAT UP!"

"CAPTAIN!" Asher and Jack screamed panickedly while jumping off from the execution platform to land on the ground, and they ran after Luffy as Smoker watched on at his disappearing form with a bewildered and deadpanned look on his face.

"What is with that kid?"

~[Sanji, Cottontail, and Jake]~

"Ah! I finally found you, my beloved mademoiselle!" Sanji says to what he thinks is Alvida with hearty eyes, only for him to figure out that the woman he was talking to isn't Alivda, but someone who looks like her but has glasses and freckles. "Oh, my mistake, sorry to bother you," Sanji says apologetically before turning around to walk away as he moans miserably to a bored Cottontail and Jake. "Man, she was beautiful. I hope that I will be able to find her soon."

"We hope that we can find some real delicious food any second now..."

~[Buggy and his Crew]~

"I knew it. The cards say that detestable rung is already in this town." A Mysterious Figure says while sitting at a table in Gold Roger's Bar with his mysterious crew as a bored Raoul is cleaning the glasses in the background. "The time for revenge has flashily come at last."

"So? Do we all successfully take his life?" Alvida asked, revealing to be one of the mysterious figures as her boss nodded.

"Obviously. The one who dies is..." The Mysterious Figure says while reaching over to grab a card and raise it up to reveal that it was a Joker Card. "...SHIT!"

"Hey, Captain, quick! It's him!" One of the Mysterious People said while standing outside of the bar as she popped her head, and all of the Mysterious Crew turned to her curiously.

~[Luffy]~

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Luffy screamed panickedly while flying halfway through the city as he crashed down near a water fountain. "Wow, I flew pretty far. What should I do now?" Luffy asked before yawning loudly as he rubbed his eyes. "Well, I guess it's time for a well deserved nap. I'm sure that Asher and Jack will be able to find me eventually." Luffy says before promptly going to sleep as all of the civilians around him stare down at the Rubberman concernedly or oddly.

~[Zoro, Gin, Akira, Tashigi, Apis, and Nami]~

"Wait, hold on, excuse me, where are we going?" Zoro asked while trying to chase after Tashigi as said person growled angrily.

"I still can't believe that you broke my glasses."

"I told you that I will pay you back somehow," Zoro said reassuringly as Tashigi scoffed and rolled her eyes.

"Oh, you will pay me back? Oh, please. You do not seem to have much money,"

"Well, that is true, I am kind of broke..." A nervously sweating Zoro says as Tashigi whirls around to glare at him.

"I knew it! I could tell from the look on your face!"

"Wait, if you need glasses to see, then how can you see my face? Or even walk?"

"Anyway, I can tell that you are pretty desperate! You have rings around your eyes! And it looks like you haven't eaten in days! Do you have a sick mother or something?! Or did your wife run out on you and leave you with five babies to nurse?!" Tashigi accused as Zoro stared at her anxiously, mostly because she looked and acted too much like Kuina as it didn't help that her spirit appeared beside them and was giggling up a storm at their antics.

"Okay, hold on-,"

"Don't bother trying to explain! Just come with me!" Tashigi ordered while turning around to walk into Marine Headquarters as Zoro mentally groaned at the sight of it.

"Ugh, of course, she's a part of the Marines. Out of all of the rotten luck." Zoro says with an annoyed glare as Kuina's Spirit patted his back to comfort him and we fast forward in time to see the duo standing inside of the Marine Headquarters as Tashigi handed Zoro a mop and a bucket.

"Here. Our janitor resigned this morning. As long as you will work for the Navy, you will not have to worry about money ever again. You're a very lucky person."

"Screw that! Why in the hell should I work with the Marines?!"

"You can't just leave now! You still have to pay for my glasses! Maybe after you finish cleaning the floors, you can work on cleaning up that attitude of yours if this is the way that you want to repay my kindness!" Tashigi screamed with a glare and a huff as she turned around to walk away. "Now, as my job as Sergeant Major, I have to run some morning training exercises, so go and do your job. I will be back to check on you soon."

"She's a Sergeant Major?!" A shocked Zoro asked with a big thick mark on his head as we cue back over to the girls and we see them walking through the city of Loguetown with big smiles on their faces as two men can be seen carrying around their bags of clothing and such.

"Shopping always makes me feel better. Don't you think so as well, Apis?"

"Definitely, Big Sis Nami." Apis says with a beaming smile as she and Nami then spot the Marines Headquarters and spot Zoro throwing out the trash through the window as they look surprised and bewildered by this. "...Should we try and find out what's going on?"

"And ruin our shopping day? Hell no." Nami says while rolling her eyes as she and Apis turn around to leave as the grunting men follow after them.

"Damn it, I'm getting nowhere like this." An annoyed Zoro says while trying to clean the floor but is bored out of his mind as it was taking forever to clean it with only just one mop. "Unless..." Zoro says before spotting nearby mops as he walks over to grab two of them and places one of them in his mouth as the green-haired swordsman runs forward and begins mopping the floor in the whole hallway instantly with the help of the mops and the bucket of water as Zoro nodded to himself in satisfaction before glancing over through the window to see Tashigi training some Marine Cadets and was mopping the floor with them...pun intended.

"You! What are you doing here?!" A Marine Soldier screamed as he and his buddy ran over to confront an irritated Zoro.

"I knew it! It is him! The Pirate Hunter, Roronoa Zoro! Why does it seem like that you're cleaning our grounds?"

"Intel has informed us that you have teamed up with Monkey D. Luffy's Crew!"

"Drop the mops! You are under arrest!" The Marine Soldiers screamed as Zoro glared at them and was planning to attack them, only for Gin to suddenly appear on the scene and raise his new and improved steel black metal tonfas to slam them down on the Marine Soldiers' heads, knocking them out as they crashed down into the ground.

"Are you done?" Gin asked with a deadpanned tone as Zoro blinked in surprise but then scoffed as he tossed away the mops.

"Where have you been?"

"I was getting some good ice cream," Akira says with a sweet smile on his face while holding onto a triple scoop of chocolate ice cream as Gin shrugs boredly.

"I was getting some new weapons for myself while you were awkwardly trying to flirt with that Sergeant Major."

"I WASN'T...you know what? Let's just get out of here." Zoro says with a tired sigh as Gin and Akira nod, and we fast forward in time as we see a bunch of Marine Soldiers checking on the unconscious Marine Soldiers worriedly and have a note and a bunch of Berries planted on top of their knocked-out bodies as Tashigi rushed up to them worriedly.

"What happened here exactly?!"

"It seems that someone had attacked them, but there's no trace of whoever did it." A Marine Soldier reported as Tashigi went over to bend down and grab the note and Berries as there was a message saying, 'For your glasses', and we then cue over to the boys as we see Zoro, Akira, and Gin making their way through the city of Loguetown.

"So, why are you so frazzled by her?" Akira asked curiously, never seeing Zoro freak out about a woman before as he gave the green-haired swordsman a bewildered look.

"It's not important to know," Zoro stated bluntly as he looked away with a big sweatdrop on his head. "Damn, it was just too weird. She looks way too much like Kuina. She even has her temper, and is a swordswoman too. The world sure is a big place, but I doubt that I will ever see her again." Zoro thought to himself with a shrug while he, Akira, and Gin arrived at an Arms Shop as they went over to talk with the owner of the establishment.

Sitting before them is a 5'2-feet-tall, 38-year-old Man with black eyes, a bald head with black hair that goes to the sides of his head, thick black eyebrows, a big bulbous red nose, a sharp chin, Tan Skin, a short slim build, and his outfit consists of a long-sleeved blue shirt, white blue-stripped shorts, and no shoes. His name is Ipponmatsu, the owner of the Arms Shop in Loguetown, and Ipponume's husband.

"I want to buy some swords."

"Huh? Yes, yes, welcome. Take your time to look at all of my selections. We have a really large variety of swords to choose from. Our shop has been in business for 200 years, you see." Ipponmatsu says with a fake smile as Zoro bluntly drops about 100,000 Berries onto the counter.

"I got 100,000 Berries. Sell me two swords."

"Eh? Two swords for 100,000 Berries? Damn, he has no money." Ipponmatsu thought to himself with an annoyed glare on his face as he sighed dryly. "Since you only have 100,000 Berries, I can only give you two dull swords for 50,000 Berries each."

"I'll make do with whatever. I just don't have any money. What about you, Gin? Do you have any money?" Zoro asked as Gin shook his head.

"Nah, I'm just as broke as you are, remember?"

"Then how did you get your weapons?" Zoro asked in bewilderment as Gin shrugged.

"Stole them."

"Ah," Zoro says as a bored Ipponmatsu looks away with a small huff.

"Hmph, this guy is an amateur. 'I'll make do with whatever'. What a joke." Ipponmatsu thought to himself with an annoyed scoff while glancing over at the boys as he then did a double take at the sight of Kuina's Sword and the Golden Trident. "That sword on his waist! And that trident strapped to his back! Could it be?!" A shocked Ipponmatsu thought to himself hopefully as he then turned to Zoro and Akira. "O-Oh, h-hold o-on. L-Let m-me s-see t-that s-sword a-and t-trident off y-yours."

"Huh? Oh sure." Zoro says with a bored shrug while handing him Kuina's sword.

"Uh, okay?" An awkward Akira says while handing him his Golden Trident as Ipponmatsu grabbed them and took a good look at them as he gasped in pure shock.

"This is really it! Stay cool, Ipponmatsu! Poker face! Calm down! This is your chance! An absolute amateur and a stupid kid waltzed right in here with a legendary sword and a legendary trident! It's showtime!" Ipponmatsu thought to himself excitedly before calming down as he put on his best poker face. "Wow, that's not a bad sword and trident. Do you want to sell them? I'll buy them from you two for 400,000 Berries. What do you say? That'll leave you with 500,000$ Berries in total to buy some good swords for 100,000 each."

"Huh?! What are you talking about?!/Yeah, what the heck?!" Zoro and Akira asked in unison in surprise as Ipponmatsu gritted his teeth and sweat dropped a bit.

"Alright, I can make it 450,000 Berries-No, 500,000 Berries!"

"..."

"Final offer, 600,000 Berries!"

"Just stop! I'm not selling! The sword/trident stays with me!"

"Alright, then! I'll buy it from you for 750,000 Berries!"

"I said-,"

"Goddamn it, fine! I give up! How does 800,000 Berries sound?!" Ipponmatsu asked angrily just as Tashigi appeared on the scene as she ran over to stand beside the boys.

"I'm back! Did you finish polishing my Shigure?" Tashigi asked before noticing a tense and sweating Zoro and a bored yet surprised Gin standing beside her as she beamed. "Oh, hey, you are okay. I was worried about you. You see, someone went on a rampage at the Marine Headquarters earlier, right where you were moping the floors. You were gone, so I naturally assumed that you were beaten up and kidnapped."

"She's a royal-class dimwit. She definitely doesn't have Kuina's intelligence/Wait, you thought that Zoro was kidnapped by someone, and yet your instinct is to get your polished sword back first without even trying to find or rescue Zoro? What kind of Marine are you?/Oh, she looks pretty." Zoro, Gin, and Akira thought to themselves deadpannedly, in bewilderment, and amazement.

"...but the fact that you are here means that you have run away. It's sad that you have no idea how to accept love when it comes your way, do you? So, here's your stupid money back. I can't accept money from someone who's heartless. Besides, I bought some new glasses." Tashigi says with a smile while putting on some new dark reddish pink glasses.

"So you know that I'm broke and yet you are not curious or suspicious by the fact that I suddenly have money to give to you even though I haven't even got paid yet? Nor the fact that I had escaped from the Marines? Man, you are dumb/Seriously, Zoro was gone and yet two Marine Soldiers were found knocked out in the hallway that he was cleaning at and just happened to have money to give to you for your new glasses even though you know for a fact that he is flat broke and yet you have no questions about all of this? The Marines must hire anyone these days, I suppose/Oh, she looks prettier with glasses on." Zoro, Gin, and Akira thought to themselves blankly and in awe as an oblivious Tashigi perked up at the sight of Kuina's Sword and the Golden Trident resting in Ipponmatsu's hands and reached over to grab them.

"Oh, wow! Is this sword the Wado Ichimonji and Amphrite Trident?!"

"Wado/Amphrite?" A confused Zoro and Akira asked as Ipponmatsu was signaling a cheerful Tashigi to stop talking, who ignored him as she gained starry eyes.

"What a beautiful straight temper line! And I could feel the pure power emitting from this trident! I believe that the sword is one of the 21 O-Wazamono Swords! It's worth no less than 10 Million Berries! And the Amphrite Trident is one of the 12 supreme-grade weapons and its worth about 20 Billion Berries! But you are broke, so what are you doing with such a legendary sword?! And you are just a little kid, so why the hell do you have such a legendary trident?!" Tashigi asked Zoro and Akira cluelessly as an angry Ipponmatsu glared at her.

"Curse you! You just had to blurt it all out, didn't ya?! I'm going to sue your ass for obstruction of business!"

"Obstruction of business? I'm sorry, did I say something wrong?" Tashigi asked confusedly as Gin shook his head.

"Nah, he was trying to scam us into having Zoro and Akira sell him his sword and trident for a cheap price. It was kind of obvious from the start."

"Wait, really?" A clueless Zoro asked as Gin sighed heavily in annoyance.

"You and that girl are meant for each other..."

"Huh, I guess that's why he was so persistent to have us sell our trident and sword." Akira pointed out as he hummed thoughtfully.

"Ugh, here, I finished polishing your precious Shigure for ya, so just take it and get out. I don't want to see you in my store ever again." Ipponmatsu says with a furious scowl on his face as he handed Tashigi her Shigure Sword, causing her to stumble backwards and she was about to fall down onto the floor, only to somehow twirl around and crash against a stack of swords, knocking them all out as Tashigi groaned in pain. "WHY DID YOU JUST RUN STRAIGHT INTO THOSE?! JUST GET OUT BEFORE YOU TEAR MY STORE APART!" Ipponmatsu snapped at Tashigi angrily and in frustration as he then turned to glare at Zoro.

"That dumb girl just saved you. It is a complete waste to have such a legendary sword attached to someone who has no idea of its true value." Ipponmatsu says with an irritated huff as he hands Kuina's Sword back to Zoro. "And its a waste that such a legendary trident is in the hands of a kid." Ipponmatsu says while handing the Amphrite Trident back to Akira as he blinked slowly. "Anyway, all of those swords in that barrel are worth 50,000 Berries a piece. Just take any two you want."

"Alright, geez," An annoyed Zoro says while turning around to walk over to the barrel as he notices that Gin and Akira are leaving the store. "Hey, where are you two going?"

"I'm going to wait outside. I can't deal with all this nonsense." Gin said gruffly as Akira smiled awkwardly.

"And that man creeps me out, so I'm going to wait outside with Gin." Akira said while he and Gin walked out of the store as Zoro shrugged and began looking through the barrels for his new swords as a recovered Tashigi walked over to him curiously.

"You must really like swords if you want to carry around three swords at a time. That's almost like this one famous Pirate Bounty Hunter out there."

"Pirate Bounty Hunter?"

"Yeah, his name is Roronoa Zoro. He's a legendary swordsman who is known throughout the whole of East Blue, but he is not a good person. Using swords as Bounty Hunting Tools is unforgivable. Everything is so backwards nowadays. Why is evil so strong in this era? All of the famous swordmasters are either Pirates or Bounty Hunters, and almost all of the world's legendary swords are in their hands. It's a real shame." Tashigi said with a somber frown as Zoro grinned smugly and chuckled.

"I dunno, maybe everyone has their own circumstances and stuff? All jobs need to keep up with the times somehow." Zoro says while still looking through the swords' barrels as a glaring Kuina-I mean, Tashigi held up her Shigure Sword in anger and determination.

"In any case, with my Shigure, I'm going to polish my skills as a swordswoman, and someday, I will gather up all of the legendary swords that are in the hands of criminals throughout the whole world! Yes, the 21 Top O-Wazamonos, the 21 O-Wazamonos and the 50-Wazamonos! I'll risk my life for them!"

"And this one? My sword? The Wado Ichimonji?" Zoro asked with a sly smirk while gesturing at Kuina's Sword as Tashigi pouted.

"No, it's not that I want all of the legendary swords for my sake. I'm just saying that I don't like the thought that they are currently in the hands of criminals." Tashigi explained just as Zoro grabbed the Cursed Kitetsu III Sword and raised an eyebrow suspiciously. "Wait, I know that sword. That's the Kitetsu III Sword. Its predecessor, Kitetsu II, is an O-Wazamono Sword, and Kitetsu I before that is listed as a Top O-Wazamono Sword. You have to buy that sword. It's worth at least One Million Berries." Tashigi says with a quiet Zoro inspecting the Cursed Sword emotionlessly as Ipponmatsu flinches and goes pale in fear as he shakes his head.

"No! I can't sell it!"

"Yeah, I didn't think so. Selling this for 50,000 Berries is clearly strange."

"No, that's not what I mean," Ipponmatsu says just as Zoro's New Sword suddenly locks up and goes down as he narrows his eyes suspiciously.

"The sword's cursed, huh?"

"Y-Yeah, but how did you know?" A shocked Ipponmatsu asked as Zoro shrugged.

"I just do."

"The Kitetsu Swords are superior in all respects, but every last one is cursed since their very beginnings. Many famous Master Swordsmen have met tragic deaths after taking up Kitetsu Swords. These days, there ain't a single soul alive who uses a Kitetsu Sword because you'll leave this world even if you use them unknowingly. Even if I want to get rid of that damn thing, I can't because I'm afraid that it will curse me too. Just leave it alone." Ipponmatsu pleaded as a guilty Tashigi turned to bow to Zoro.

"How horrible. I'm sorry. I had no idea it was such a terrible sword. It would be death to take that sword-,"

"I like it! I'll take it!" Zoro says while grinning up at his Cursed Sword as the duo looks stunned by what he said.

"I can't sell it, you fool! If you die because of it, then it will be like I killed you myself!"

"Well, we will see. How about we find out which one is stronger? The sword's curse or my good luck." Zoro says while tossing the cursed sword up into the air and holding out his arm as everyone gasped in pure shock and fear as they all watched the cursed sword slowly falling down towards Zoro's arm...only for it to be able to miss said arm completely and stabbed itself into the ground as Zoro grinned cockily. "...I will take it."

"W-Wait, stay here!" Ipponmatsu says while turning around to run to the back of the store and come back with the Ryo-Wazamono 'Yubashiri' Sword. "The sheath is covered black lacquer finish, and the blade's temper pattern is uneven. This is the Ryo-Wazamono 'Yubashiri' Sword. My shop may not be much, but this is the finest sword that I have."

"I already told you that I can't buy that."

"No matter, I will give you this sword free of charge if you take it. You are welcome to the Kitetesu as well. I'm sorry for trying to scam you earlier. It's been a while since I have seen a real Swordsman. They say that the sword chooses the owner. I pray for your own good fortune." Ipponmatsu says as Zoro nods, walks up to the counter, grabs the sword and then leaves the store as a stunned Tashigi watches him go in awe and confusion.

"Who was that guy?"

~[Luffy and Buggy's Crew]~

"Ahh, I slept well," Luffy says with a smile while waking up from his nap as he looks around curiously. "Huh, Asher and Jack still haven't found me? Eh, I'm sure that they will know that I will go back to the Execution Platform. They are probably waiting for me there right now."

"Did you find him?" The Mysterious Boss asked his Mysterious Partners as they shook their heads. "Damn, are you sure that it was the Straw Hat you saw, Harley?"

"Of course, I'm sure. I saw him flying through the air, boss."

"Damn, let's scour the place again and..." The Mysterious Boss says before trailing off as he and the others notice a cheerfully smiling Luffy running past them, heading back to the execution platform after being informed on where it was by a random civilian. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! THAT WAS HIM!"
