Everything started out black, before the host's voice could be heard. "Just listen..." Rage said simply with an echo accompanying his voice, before the briefest glimpse of a red eye was shown, accompanied by epic Egyptian music as a group of hunters pulled up to an island from the sea, then were seen running through the desert. "Behold his beauty, behold his power and behold his fury. Nefu Garumudo... Let's do it!" Rage declared as a quadrupedal dragon with black and gold, armor-like scales, along golden feathered wings and the head of a jackal walked through the desert and roared at the hunters, engaging them in combat.
The group was hooked as soon as the beat dropped. "Oh, my gods! This music is killer!" Yang said, vibing hard to the music.
"I know, right? This is way different from the music I usually listen to, but this theme is getting me amped!" Coco agreed.
"It kind of reminds me of some Vacuoan music Sun showed me before he and Neptune left for Mistral and I went back to Menagerie. That was good to, but this definitely has it beat." Ilia added.
But then, they saw the dragon in all its glory. "Oh, my gosh! That thing is so badass!" Nora cried out.
"I know. It looks so terrifying and yet, so regal and majestic." Cinder said in awe.
"It's head looks like some kind of wolf or jackal, but yet it is also a reptilian dragon with scales... but also feathered wings?" Penny wondered.
"Yeah. It's so strange, but it looks SO right all coming together like that. Like something out of ancient mythology. Maybe even some kind of deity." Blake said in wonderment, even though the creature's canine-like head should be terrifying to her.
"Not to mention, it has gold plating on itself. Is it actually smart enough to make some form of armor for itself?" Winter questioned.
Boats out in the ocean were shown sinking, before an island could be seen. "Hello, my fellow hunters, today's journey into monster lore is a special one indeed, because we're not just exploring a monster, we're exploring Markja Island, an island that sadly has fallen to natural disasters similar to the Frontier, gone and lost from our world. An absolute tragedy, because they had some of the most incredible monsters of any region monsters can be found. Like it's actually silly how incredible some of them be." The host explained, showing images of a blue and gold, jackal-headed raptor, a Mizutsune with white scales, dark purple fur and antennae with electricity coursing between them and inside the bubbles it generated and a Brachydios with ice covering it along with its slime mold.
Many were saddened that yet another region full of monsters was now no more. "Another wondrous land filled with incredibly creatures now lost forever. Truly a shame." Ozpin said, hanging his head in respect for the fallen land and its inhabitants, both people and monsters.
"Aww, that raptor looked so cute!" Ruby cooed.
"Yeah. I wouldn't have thought gold and blue go together like that, but it works." Neo said.
"Almost like white, pink and brown, right?" Roman asked teasingly, to which she rolled her eyes and gave him a small shove, but still smiled.
But then some of them gasped at the Bubble Fox Wyvern. "That Mizutsune is beautiful." Weiss said in awe.
"The pure white just goes so well with that dark purple." Velvet agreed, having a sense of fashion and what colors work together thanks to Coco, so she found those two colors VERY agreeable together.
"And is that electricity in the bubbles!? So this thing has Water and Thunder like Namielle?!" Jaune asked, a bit intimidated by that combo of elements, many of the crew feeling the same way, especially Cinder.
And then the Brachydios was shown. "Dang. That Brachy boy looks like it means business." Qrow admitted.
"I think that's ice on its body. So hit has ice mixed with its slime mold. That will probably shoot shards of ice around like shrapnel when it explodes." Adam analyzed.
"That'd be quite the sight to behold. And probably fun to face off against." Hazel admitted.
Nefu Garumudo was shown roaring again as the hunters prepared to engage it. "And today, we will look at one of that land's unique Elder Dragons found nowhere else in the world- or if they are, it is in the deepest reaches of treacherous territories we have not yet explored- the paragon and pioneer of the Earth element, a sixth element not officially recognized by the Guild. Think of it as elementless, monster edition. Those with the power of rock, sand or sheer brute force, were lent into Earth. That extra oomph, nothing fancy, just raw crushing power. Also found on weapons and usable by hunters." Rage elaborated as a blind girl in green and beige robes stepped forward and delivered a forward chop with her hand, causing three spires of sand to shoot forth and slam into a wrestler-like man, sending him flying into a wall.
"Whoa, that was epic! That girls' got moves! Sent that guy flying! Not so macho anymore!" Yang cheered.
"Amazing. I've never seen a power quite like that. Even from Earth Dust specialists." Pyrrha said in awe. "Especially impressive considering she was clearly blind." She added.
"That looked like a tournament..." Summer said monotonously, her rage slowly building until she looked up furiously. "Who lets a little blind girl fight in a tournament! That roid rage jock had to be AT LEAST three times her size! He could've brutalized her!" The Rose matriarch snapped in rage, her motherly instincts kicking in with a vengeance.
"That may well be true, Summer, but in case you weren't watching the same fight I was, she defeated that 'roid rage jock'. With relative ease, I might add." Glynda assured her friend. "And besides, one of team CFVY's members is blind and he is more than capable. It's a huge mistake to underestimate someone simply because they can't see." She advised the axe-wielder.
"Exactly. Especially since she's considered to be the greatest Earthbender in the world, who invented Metalbending, something thought impossible before she did it. And she HATES being treated like she's weak or helpless because she's blind." Razara explained, making Summer feel a twinge of guilt.
The fight with the Elder Dragon continued as the hunters attacked it from behind. "But today, we are going to talk about the Dark Crystal Dragon. He is a geomancer, willing the movement of the Earth, the rock, the stone. It dances to his command and he will BURY you under the fury of a thousand sandstorms!" Rage declared as the monster reared up onto its hindlegs and let out a massive roar, the spaces in between its feathers glowing with a cyan blue energy that also radiated off the monster, before it created a whirlpool of sand beneath itself and the hunters to trip up its opponents, then somehow pulling up giant runes and ruins from the depths of the sand, glowing with the same kind of energy as the Elder Dragon.
Suddenly, a still image of the monster in front of a black background was shown. "The Boulder's gonna win this... In a landslide! " A very macho man voice declared as if it were the dragon on the screen.
Many did double or even TRIPLE takes as the creature roared and began to mess with the sand. "Did that thing just make whirlpools with SAND!?" Nora cried out.
"It definitely did. Looks like Shara Ishvalda's not the only one who messes with the stuff." Coco confirmed.
"To be able to move that much sand, it must be moving AT LEAST a ton of sand." Ironwood said in concern.
"Judging by how it unearthed those ruins, sir, I'd estimate it's moving MANY TIMES more sand than that." Penny said in both awe and concern.
The beginning of the fight was shown again as the hunters rushed in at the dragon roaring at them. "Welcome then, properly, to our geomancer dragon, Nefu Garumudo, lord of the desert and... God of death..." The host announced, adding an ominous echo to the monster's second title as everything went black. "And I'm not just saying that..." Rage insisted with the echo still present in his voice.
"No way... The God of Death? There's no way a monster is actually THAT, right?" Emerald asked fearfully.
"Honestly, considering what we've just seen and heard, I wouldn't doubt it." Ren admitted nervously.
"That doesn't bode well with how powerful its abilities with Earth and sand are." Winter said in concern, to which everyone else agreed.
Another image of the beast appeared on the screen. "So, let's oogle him all over, shall we? Firstly then, his appearance I think is absolutely GORGEOUS, a trait oft found in many Markja monsters. Almost looking like he was themed by the people of Egypt, that ancient Egypt aesthetic, the gods and myths of that time and it works beautifully. The gold upon the black POPS and there's no part of him that I'm like 'Eh, you know, a bit much- not enough', it just kinda SINGS. And we then have his general hood leading up to the back of his head, similar to the classic Pharaoh's headpiece/garb that they wore. And, I mean, already- Tuten- come on! That's cool!" The host explained, focusing on the creature's head while showing a second image of the pharaoh's head ornament in question, before everything went black. "'Cause like, come on, that's- tuten- come on, right? Very, very hilarious haha." Rage tried to defend his AWFUL pun on the famous pharaoh's name with an echo to his voice.
"It really is incredible. I feel like I should be terrified, but it's so striking, I can't help but admire it." Blake admitted.
"I know. All the gold in contrast with the dark parts of its body make it a true marvel. It's hard to look away from." Pyrrha said.
"Honestly, just looking at the still picture like that, you would almost think its a statue to some long lost civilization." Weiss agreed.
"I mean, I still think the 'feathers on a dragon' and the dog head are kind of crazy, but he SERIOUSLY pulls off the look." Ilia added.
"I'm quite drawn by its resemblance to the pharaohs, actually." Cinder threw in as well.
"Because they had positions of power, I'm guessing?" Roman questioned, dodging a burst of flame from the half-Maiden.
The still image remained the current focus and the focus remained on the beast's head. "And then his head itself- well, this is where you might start to see some REAL ancient Egyptian vibes, as he is reminiscent of Anubis, the God of Funerals and Funeral Rites as well as the one who guides souls through the various gates to the afterlife [1]." Rage explained, showing a depiction of a jackal-headed man with an ankh in one hand and staff in the other. "Now, Anubis- of course, has taken many forms in various interpretations, but the classic is the half-man, half-jackal or- more specifically jackal head and he wasn't inherently evil, simply guided and judged lost souls down in the land of the deceased. And, you know, supposedly the inventor of embalming. Good for him! And it makes for one HELL of an Elder Dragon, it really, really does." Someone The host admitted as he showed several more images of Anubis, as well as an image of an embalming in progress.
Many of the intellectuals were surprised to hear such rich history and lore. "Well, that's all quite fascinating. This Egypt has a very impressive culture." Glynda said with a smile.
"Indeed. It's also rather intriguing just how specific Anubis' role in their mythology is. Quite a bit less generalized than the God of Creation or Destruction." Ozpin agreed.
"And he significantly advanced the process of handling and preserving the deceased, either for funerals or medical purposes, which would no doubt allow them to advance our medical field significantly. So Anubis provided you all a valuable service if that is true." Ren added.
"Then that's pretty cool how many similarities Anubis has to Nefu Garumudo." Velvet said.
"Yeah. It's like it's just a dragon version of anubis, just with wings." Jaune noted.
"Ooh, maybe Anubis created Nefu Garumudo, like a dragon in his perfect image!" Ruby theorized.
And once more, the image of Nefu Garumudo was shown, focus shifting to the tail as Rage spoke. "So, how does he actually function, our golden-plated death God? his tail is what you might most be drawn to as a unique feature if we look away from the head- and yes, its chin even has the classic little pharaoh metal false beard, or postiche [2]." The host explained, showing off the creature's head once more, focusing on its chin and showing an example of the ancient ornament the pharaohs wore.
"Man, these pharaoh guys sure liked their accessories." Qrow noted.
"Hey, if you got it, flaunt it." Neo said.
"Well, gold is a big part of their culture, so having themselves accessorized with it is a symbol of their status and power. They also believed it was the flesh of the sun god Ra, so wearing large amounts of it was believed to make them more attractive to the gods, supposedly." Katana explained.
"Jeez. No wonder religion stopped being popular in Remnant. Doing all this stuff for these gods sounds exhausting." Emerald said.
But the focus then returned to the tail. "But yes, back to the other end, his tail is essentially a giant sand vacuum cleaner/sorting device. He will plunge it into the Earth and essentially use it to filter the ground, moving huge volumes of it as he searches for crystalized Bio-Energy that form deep below. Once he has found a sufficient crystal- well, he will latch onto it with the end of his tail. But before we- well, see what that does for him, let us first see how he is as he comes." The host explained the details of its tail as the beast used it to create another whirlpool of sand before pulling its tail free from the ground.
"Then that proves it. If he's moving all that sand to get to these crystals and if they are really so deep below the ground, he has to be manipulating and moving multiple tons of sand. That already puts it on par with the biggest and strongest Grimm in our world." Ironwood said in concern.
"And that's without even HAVING the crystal. He must want it for a reason." Summer added.
The beast then attempted to pounce on the hunters. "A general array of physical attacks, you know the ones: big old leaps, claw swipes, slams... You know, the basic physical kit of Elder Dragons of this shape, but of course we have to address the sand, the rock, the geomancy tendencies. He can create literal sinkholes in the loose particles beneath you that start drawing you in, before exploding from the center, sending you flying. And I love any monster that can do a bit of hunter placement manipulation, you know, sending you across the battlefield, like Namielle's waves or good ol' Boltreaver's black hole, I think they're a lot of fun to try and navigate and get around. He can cause bursts of sand around his tail when it goes into the ground and there's generally a lot of sand swishing and swooshing as he moves." Rage listed the dragon's abilities as it bounded across the battlefield, creating small explosions of sand as it hit the ground.
"That is awesome! Making geysers of sand would be so cool! Could you imagine shooting up pillars of sand or rock at someone, or making the ground move so they slip like that bling girl did?!" Ruby asked excitedly.
"Heck, even just the way he's doing things now with the little sand whirlpools and sinkholes is pretty cool." Yang agreed with her sister.
"And that's also why it's so dangerous. Facing something that can manipulate an element you're SURROUNDED by puts you at an absolutely massive disadvantage." Glynda warned them.
"Indeed. If he can shift the very ground where you step, besides simply falling down, it will compromise your footing and make your strikes far weaker and less effective, assuming they land at all." Ozpin added.
"That just makes it another challenge to overcome." Adam declared.
"Rage said it was difficult to navigate or maneuver around, but not impossible. Which means you can get around it, or maybe even power through. It just ups the risk, which makes victory more satisfying." Hazel agreed.
The beast continued to rush back and forth after the hunters it was fighting. "And sand really is his ally. He is found in the Great Desert as one of its dominant predators and, until recently, remained undiscovered, spending a lot of its time cloaked and hidden in the farthest reaches of this vast, unexplored wasteland. He's also been known to live out on a remote, secluded island in the ocean that has a great resemblance to the Great Desert- the Great Desert, for further reference is- you know, where you have the showdown with Jhen Mohran." Rage explained, showing them images of the Great Dragon Ships, as well as the familiar desert whale, Jhen Mohran.
"Yay! The sand whales again!" Nora and Ruby cheered.
"But if Nefu Garumudo is the Lord of the Desert and actually CONTROLS the sand while the others just swim through it, doesn't that mean that it might actually be superior to the Mohrans?" Blake wondered.
Everyone went silent at this thought. "Whoa. That's a pretty scary thought. A relatively smaller monster beating one of those giants." Coco admitted.
"Well, that's just a theory at least. It might not actually be true. Now let's stop talking about it." Roman said, trying to move on so they wouldn't have to imagine the thought of the dog-headed Dragon beating the massive sand leviathan. Because he likely had the same thought as the others: if that was indeed true and it COULD beat the Mohrans... what chance would they have?
The hunters were now behind the Elder Dragon, who tried to knock them away with a tail swipe. "So, he really is quite the lord of the desert and that makes sense, given his Egyptian roots. Now, you could argue he likes the desert a little TOO MUCH. One of his favorite habits is- you know, indulging in a little bit of deserf-" The host began, but then started to fumble with his words to the point it sounded like he was beatboxing, which he then broke down and actually began to do. " Beatboxing! One of his favorite dragons is beat- Yes! One of his favorite drag- ARGH! I CAN'T SPEAK!" Rage began to- well, rage, before color test appeared on screen as if Rage was having technical difficulties.
Many of the teens laughed at Rage messing up his words. "Oh, man. That's a mood." Jaune said with a hint of embarrassment. There had been a few sparring sessions where, in the heat of the moment, he fumbled his words while hiding from Yang's punches behind his shield, so his team couldn't understand his instructions and got confused, allowing team RWBY to get the upper hand on them.
"I gotta say. He's pretty good at beatboxing, though." Velvet said with a giggle. Coco sometimes liked to rap and so Velvet learned to beatbox to back her up.
"This is what happens when you don't write a script." Winter criticized.
"Or at the very least take a few moments before recording to solidify your thoughts and what you want to say when speaking." Weiss agreed, rolling her eyes with several of the adults.
"There's also the option of doing another take." Penny added.
One of the hunters fighting Nefu Garumudo had a giant blue crystal on his back, but the beast charged him and knocked it away. "One of his favorite hobbies that he can't help but indulge in is desertification. This is the process where previously lush, verdant, life-filled land becomes- well, barren wasteland desert." Rage explained, showing the image of a desert encroaching upon lush green plains. "This can happen naturally, it can happen thanks to human... Let's say 'action', removing vast forests and generally leaving the place worse than we found it, but in Mr. Nefu Garumudo's case, he's essentially expanding his territory, moving vast quantities of sand forward, destroying vegetation and pushing the borders of the desert outwards endlessly. Not great on the other ecosystems that are being claimed in the wake of his conquests." The host elaborated as the creature took to the air, then slammed down on the hunters.
Many of the audience were horrified at this. "All that beautiful and fertile land, destroyed. It's a tragedy." Pyrrha said sadly.
"Then we cannot allow this creature on Remnant. Vacuo is already inhospitable enough with only two remaining settlements. If Nefu Garumudo were to appear and spread the desert even further and make the conditions in those settlements even harsher, the people wouldn't stand a chance." Ironwood said.
"Not to mention, it could very well spread beyond the reach of Vacuo and the desert to reach Vale and our surrounding territories." Ozpin said.
"That would include Patch." Summer said in horror, Ruby and Yang hugging their mother tightly at the thought of losing their home. [3]
"And most of Menagerie is a desert. And way harsher than Vacuo's desert. If it showed up there, Faunus would lose the one home and safe haven they have on Remnant." Blake said in horror, hugging Emerald and Ilia tightly.
"It's NOT coming to Remnant, I don't care what any of you say! I'll fight you all!" Ilia snapped. No one disagreed.
The beast then spun in a circle, swiping hunters away, before creating a geyser of sand to blast them back. "And thus, the Guild needing him- well, encouraged with lots of- you know, STABBING to stop. Despite actually being one of the few Elder Dragons that peacefully coexisted with the Ancient Civilization, wasn't a prominent figure in the Great Dragon War and generally didn't really have any issues with the humans on the time. He was quite happy to, well, sit around the place and coexist. Which I can only feel, again, is quite the nod to his Egyptian origins, given the Anubis connotations and the fact he looks like the classic jackal figurines. He was fairly loved and revered by the ancient Egyptians. Or, you could say an ancient civilization really liked Anubis, so the Anubis Dragon got on well with the Ancient Civilization, I always thought that's pretty cool!" Rage admitted while showing off parchments of Anubis and the ancient Egyptians working closely together.
Many were surprised at this information, left unsure of where they sat with the dragon now. "I'm... not sure how to feel about that. Anyone else?" Neo asked.
"Well, on one hand, it's good that it was able to live peacefully with the people of that era." Ren said uncertainly.
"But on the other hand, that means it was okay with- or at the very least, wasn't particularly bothered with how the ancient civilization was subjugating its brethren and using their parts for absolute nonsense, like making a giant tower out of Kushala Daora." Cinder countered with disgust in her voice.
"And I'm still not over the whole desertification thing. I don't like that." Ruby said.
"We can say at least it's not the most terrible monster out there, but its far from the best." Penny ended the argument, most of the audience accepting her answer.
Nefu Garumudo was once again vacuuming the ground in search of a crystal. "Anyway, let's get back to his diggin' for crystals, because... He's found one!" Rage declared as the creature finally got its crystal, resulting in it releasing a burst of energy as it roared, parts of its body now gaining a beautiful cyan blue glow with the crystal secured to his tail. "And there we have his true, energized form. Much like the tail can suck, vacuum, process and absorb the sand itself, it can do the same with the crystalline energy pulsing in the gem he has newly found. And it charges him, electric blue running through his veins, his blood, his very essence and he comes alive with crackling power, with overwhelming energy. Energy that he can now use to strengthen his already formidable onslaught." The host explained, showing a picture of the beast's face as it was charged with energy, before returning to the fight as it attacked with an even greater ferocity.
Many a jaw hit the floor once they saw the monster in its powered up state. "Oh, my gods! It's so epic!" Nora cried out.
"Yeah, it does! That aqua blue just pops so well with the gold! It contrasts so much, but it works so much at the same time!" Coco said with stars in her eyes.
"And now it's even stronger, huh? This ought to be fun." Qrow said.
"Indeed. Let's see what this thing's got." Adam agreed.
"So, that crystal makes it stronger? I wonder if it would work for me if I broke the crystal and stabbed the shards into myself like I do with Dust?" Hazel wondered.
The beast slammed down to the ground after going airborne again. "His sinkholes become electrified with the stuff, leading to a much more violent, virulent explosion. All he is is enhanced as it pumps through his very flesh, his physical attacks greater and everything he can think of is used against you. Now gaining the ability to raise ancient pillars adorned with- let's be honest, quite hieroglyphic-looking symbols out the ground, before impacting them, sending charged shards of rubble flying in all directions like a DIY- well, shrapnel bomb!" Rage declared in amazement as the beast did indeed raise up a giant pillar with ancient carvings in it and throwing the massive slab of stone at the hunters.
"That is AWESOME!" Ruby cheered.
I know, right!? It's a little scary, but also SO cool it can just find and pull that huge pillar out of the ground and just THROW IT at someone like nothing!" Jaune agreed excitedly.
"But that's exactly why it's so DANGEROUS, children. Because if it has the power to unearth that giant pillar and then throw it, just how much power is it capable of generating, how much is it holding back now and what happens when it STOPS holding back?" Ironwood questioned, putting many of them in a state of unease.
"That was PRICELESS historical architecture that beast just destroyed! If Bartholomew were here, he'd have a heart attack from witnessing that!" Glynda said furiously.
Someone said as something happened. "He can now do a circle of energy from his tail spin that involves a huge explosion just moments afterwards and generally blasting out bursts of pure, unfiltered power. This, just as a base level, is magnificent. This sandy Elder Dragon being able to find and know and use the crystalized pockets of Bio-Energy to sort of plug into his own tail to charge him up like a fresh battery and then come at you renewed and so much stronger- I mean, that speaks of Elder Dragon's strength, it speaks on ingenuity... And it's not the most ridiculous thing out there. Lot's of animals instinctively know how to find and locate things that- you know, other species would have no hope of doing and then use them. You know, a very simple example of pigs being able to sniff out truffles. That is really cool to see this dragon using this super powerful energy gem to power itself up!" The host said, still amazed at the beast's ability, showing off its increased attack potency, then showing an image of pigs hunting for the rare and valuable mushrooms.
"Neo. Get pigs to hunt for truffles. Put it on the list." Roman told the former mute girl, who quickly wrote down the idea.
"Huh. I wonder if any other monster can find and use big energy crystals like that? Maybe if we could get monsters like those, they'd be a big help against the Grimm." Pyrrha wondered.
"But that also makes me wonder if it could use Dust in a similar manner?" Winter questioned in concern.
The hunter then attempted to swipe at the tail, but the creature turned out of the way just in time. "However, this CAN be turned against the monster, because you can then attack the tail that's holding the gem, which if you do enough damage, will cause him to drop the gem, which you can then pick up and now YOU'RE the one glowing with the blue energy, all powered up, isn't that awesome?! But be careful, because if YOU then get hit, YOU'LL drop the gem and guess what?! He wants to pick up his gem again! So you have this kind of hot potato, tug-of-war with this incredibly potent and valuable- essentially artifact that's just been excavated, much like we excavate ancient artifacts of Egypt, that's a fun little coincidence!" Someone said as something happened.
"No way! We can actually use that crystal!? Awesome!" Coco said.
"I know, right? I wonder if we glow blue while we're holding it! Ooh, imagine if I activated my semblance while holding it and my hair glows with blue fire instead of yellow!" Yang theorized. [4]
"I'm wondering if the power is permanent." Cinder said with a bit of hunger in her eyes as she looked at the crystal.
"Anything that would give us an edge while combating a monster of this caliber would be MORE that appreciated." Ozpin said.
"Kind of poetic in a way. It unearths this giant crystal in order to power itself up and kill you, but you can then take it, power yourself up and kill it." Adam pondered.
"It gives us the instrument of its own demise. Cruel fate indeed." Hazel said.
"Yeah, that's sure to spice things up. And not gonna lie, it's hilarious to think of playing a game of 'keep away' with a giant dragon." Qrow agreed.
"Not keep away, uncle Qrow! Hot potato, tug-of-war, remember?" Ruby asked cheekily, to which many of the students laughed at.
"I'm strong! Now you're strong! I'm strong! Now you're strong!" Nora declared as she tossed a crumpled up ball of paper in between her hands, to which the students laughed even harder.
Someone said as something happened. "I REALLY am quite in love with Nefu Garumudo here, I think he's an incredible dragon and I think he's an incredibly fun fight. I wish they were more common so I could fight him more often, I want to hunt him so, so bad! They are incredibly aggressive to intruders in their territories as a lot of Elder Dragons are and I- ho! I wanna intrude on his territory if you know what I mean!" laughed as the mighty beast created one final whirlpool of sand beneath itself and the hunters. "Oh... Good, good times..." Something The host finished with satisfaction in his voice as the hunters finally managed to lay the mighty Elder to rest.
"Yeah, I definitely wouldn't mind fighting it." Qrow admitted.
"Right?! I wanna smash that pillar when it throws it at me!" Nora said.
"I want to get my hands on that crystal to test out that glowing blue hair theory! Beating a dragon while looking super cool!" Yang cheered.
"Wouldn't mind fighting it while IT has the crystal to prove I can bring it down even when its at its best." Adam declared.
"Like I said before, I'd like to see if I could power my way through its geomancer attacks. Powered up or otherwise" Hazel agreed.
"Well, what did you guys think?" Tekko asked.
"Well, I don't like that it ruins the ecosystem, but I still it it. It's really cool and its Earth powers are totally badass!" Ruby cheered.
"Sorry, Ruby, but I don't agree. The way it ruins perfectly good fertile lands and turns them into wastelands is just horrible. It still scares me to think about it doing that to Remnant." Summer told her.
"Yeah, same here. The fact it could mess with the ground you're standing on is terrifying. How do you even fight that?" Velvet asked.
"And I'm still having problems with how it wasn't bothered by what the ancient civilization is done. It was just okay with what they were doing to its brothers. Even FATALIS got mad and started the war because of that." Pyrrha agreed.
"Not to mention it destroys all those priceless pieces of ancient history when it throws those pillars!" Glynda snapped.
"Regardless of all that, it's simply too dangerous as both a physical threat and an environmental one and it can't be allowed on Remnant." Ironwood said, to which Ozpin nodded in agreement.
"Ease up, Oz. The kid's not wrong, that thing is epic. I wouldn't mind taking it on in the simulator, honestly." Qrow admitted.
"I wouldn't mind taking it on in real life!" Yang said with Nora nodding rapidly, Hazel and Adam also giving single nods of agreement.
"I'd just like to get a nice, up close look at it. That is a PRETTY freaking monster." Coco said.
"Well, like the intellectuals of the group have said, it's too dangerous to bring to Remnant. I'm sorry, but it would just destroy the environment. There's no two ways about it, really." Katana told them.
The thrillseekers and excitable members of the audience were disappointed, but the rest sighed in relief. "So, what is the next monster we'll be seeing?" Pyrrha asked with intrigue.
"Oh, well, good news! Uncle Sai's finally back up and in hunting condition again and he just made a new lore!" Tekko cheered.
"Yeah. We've definitely been looking forward to this one for a while." Razara agreed, before giving a side glance to the 4th wall, indicating that she didn't just mean herself, her sister and her mother when she said "we".
"Yep. It's another two-in-one video. So get ready for Xeno'Jiiva and Safi'Jiiva!" Katana declared as she started up the next video.
A/N: Yep. Sai made a lore for Xeno and Safi, which I thought were REALLY good. The video is called "The Emperor of Energy! Xeno'Jiiva/Safi'Jiiva lore". So, go check that out and subscribe to him if you haven't, all that good stuff he practically BEGS me to tell you guys.
