"Hey, I'm trying to be all nonchalant here..."
"Why? Be as chalant as you like"
He smiles at her flirty response. Everyone else normally just brushes off his wordplay or even finds it annoying. But her? She plays along with him.
"Tornado never knew any of my moves!"
"And I bet you got some good ones!...Whoa, sorry. That may have come off a little too Wally."
"I don't mind…"
Once again, she sends him a sweet smile that makes his heart flutter. Since then, he finds any excuse to stand next to her, to smile at her, to just talk to her. Every little thing she does knocks him off his feet. The way she brushes a loose strand of hair behind her ear, the way she smiles at him sweetly whenever she sees him, the way she giggles at even the most mundane things he says. His day brightens when she's around and then his heart feels empty when she leaves for the day. One night, he musters up some courage.
She's laying on her bed listening to some music. Someone lightly knocks on her second-floor window. Startled, she looks over to see a cute boy kneeling on a tree branch. Pattering over, she opens the window to greet the Boy Wonder.
"Hey there Pretty Lady," he greets with newfound swagger.
"H-hi Rob," she meekly replies with a flush on her cheeks.
"How are ya doin?"
"Hehe pretty good I'm just chilling right now. Why have you decided to visit?"
"Cuz I've been thinking about you," he smirks.
Now her blush covers her entire face and burns the tips of her ears.
"O-oh! Wow! That's really sweet. I-I've been thinking about you, too."
"Really?" He asks excitedly.
"Mmhmm. For a while now. I think you're really cute," she tells him biting her lip.
"Can I be honest with you?" he asks leaning forward.
"Of course, be as Chalant as you like, remember?" she teases.
"Girl, you've got me going crazy. You've knocked me off my feet, and I don't really know what to do cuz I'm so in love with you," he boldly declares.
Beaming, she cups his face with both her hands and pulls him into a sweet but hungry kiss. They separate with a smack, but she still holds his face.
"Now that I know you love me, this right here is how I feel," she answers, "I'm head over my heels."
"In that case, there's just one last thing."
"Hmm?"
"All I wanna know is do you wanna get away? Get away with me?" he askes holding her hand and gently pulling her out the window.
"Boy Wonder, I thought you'd never ask..."
