Blessed warriors of the Covenant! Faithful children of the Sacred Rings! Hear now the words of the Gods delivered through their chosen Prophet! For I bring you grave news of new blasphemers who dare defy the will of the divine!
We have pursued the heretical humans with relentless fervor. They are but insects before us — unworthy creatures marked for extinction! They deny the Sacred Path, they defile our holy mission, and they dare to resist the Great Journey! Yet now, others have revealed themselves as allies to these vermin. A collection of misguided and decadent species, hiding behind a façade of unity, calling themselves the Citadel!
These Citadel races, these pretenders to order, have offered refuge to the condemned. They dare to shelter humanity beneath the shade of their false peace, believing themselves able to stave off the divine reckoning that must fall upon all who oppose the Covenant. But their actions are an affront to the very will of the Gods! They are heretics — lost souls who would lead others away from the light of transcendence!
What do they offer in their false unity? They cling to stagnation, to the illusion of peace, to the lies of equality! But they are deceivers! For there can be no unity, no peace, without adherence to the Path set forth by the Sacred Rings! Their council of lesser species, this Citadel, has placed itself in direct opposition to the divine! They protect the humans, and in doing so, they protect those destined to be cleansed!
But heed this, faithful children — Khar'shan, the seat of a Citadel species, has already felt the wrath of the Covenant! It was by our hand that their world was purified, their arrogance reduced to nothingness. The Batarians believed themselves safe behind their treaties, behind their petty alliances and their slaves. But we tore their false walls down and burned their heresies to ash! Khar'shan was not simply an act of war — it was an act of divinity! It was the cleansing flame of the Great Journey, burning away the impurities of a stagnant species!
You must understand, warriors of the Covenant, that Khar'shan's destruction is not merely a victory, but a holy triumph! It is proof that the Gods are with us! They believe that they can resist the Covenant, that they can defy the will of the divine. But we shall show them the truth! We shall show them the futility of their resistance!
